Sasquatch 'Sits' on Tent / Camper in Yellowstone!
“I had an experience in Yellowstone Park in 1990, while camping that scared me so badly, that I passed out from fear!
I and my fiance were camping within Yellowstone Park tent camping area. It was the end of September, barely anyone in the park. We chose an out-of-the-way campsite, so that we did not have any campers nearby. We had been driving all day, and were tired, we set up our tent, ate dinner, went to sleep. Sometime in the night, while my boyfriend was sound asleep, I was awakened by an enormous, crushing weight on my right arm and my right shoulder/chest area. Whatever it was weighed a ton at least! I knew if I screamed or moved, if it was a bear, it was sitting on me and could easily claw through the tent material and kill me! It sat on me for hours while I just stayed there not moving a muscle. The strange thing is...I never felt any movement from it, no twitching. I did not hear breathing or any other noise. I did however feel it as being "warm". After several hours of this, I got so panicked and scared that I passed out.
The next day, there were no marks on the tent nor unusual tracks in the area. My right arm and shoulder area were aching for days after. It was not a dream, as I remember every single minute of sheer terror, and have thought about it every day since. I told this story to a Bigfoot researcher. He said that this is "typical behaviour" for Sasquatch. He calls campers in tents "sack lunches". I knew in my mind during the incident that whatever that "thing" was, was not "normal." It was however, very very heavy and "unmoving," like a huge vehicle pulled up and "parked" on me.
Be careful what you wish for if you wish to encounter one of these creatures! I have heard and read a couple thousand Bigfoot encounter stories over the years. Almost every person wishes they never saw them, as they now have to "re-adjust" their mindset in so many new ways that are "uncomfortable" to say the least! Just finding footprints, and knowing they really cannot be "faked" is quite an experience for sure!” EG

Weather: Clear and 70-75 degrees
Location: Dade City, Florida

The witness, Francis, was outside working around his property on the evening of January 3, 2020.
He spotted movement in his peripheral vision, and turned to see what appeared to be a creature about 7-8 feet tall, with an orange/reddish color, (similar to orangutan hair) running bipedally and very quickly between buildings. He viewed it from the side, and did not get a look at the face. The hair length was 4”-5” long hanging from the arms as it ran, and also covered the rest of the body. The creature ran upright, but was hunched over slightly, with extremely long arms. It made a grunting noise as it ran by, and disappeared quickly into surrounding heavy vegetation and brush. The witness noticed a strong smell, resembling a wet animal and sulpher.
He looked in the area that night for evidence, and found what appeared to be a nesting area and possible tracks. The next day, early heavy rains erased whatever evidence was left. He and his wife lease a small farm and are missing quite a few chickens in the past year. They had 60 to start, and are now down to about 15 total, and there is also a pig missing in recent weeks.
The property consists of hundreds of acres, with a large creek for water, plenty of shelter with abandoned trailers, outbuildings, and livestock to potentially use as a food source.
The area is very rural and open in general, with numerous agricultural and livestock operations.
I attempted to collect further evidence, but due to restricted access, was unable.
Witness claimed that height was about equal to the cut branch on the tree. He is 6’1” (above)

The year 2019 was very active with reports of UFO sightings, Bigfoot and cryptid encounters as well as other phenomena across Pennsylvania.What was interesting was that many of these reports concerned detailed observations with some at close range and others taking place in daylight.
The 2019 year also marked 60 years of my research into the UFO phenomena and cryptozoology. Many readers will find it of interest that I have never personally seen a UFO or Bigfoot, however, I have interviewed thousands of witnesses over the years and I have seen some interesting physical evidence while out in the field investigating such incidents.
My research into the UFO and Bigfoot phenomena began in 1959 when I was 10 years old. I began field investigations of these anomalies after the Kecksburg incident in 1965. I have been taking calls from the public concerning these reports since 1969. It became apparent soon after my investigations began that many of the strange observations reported could be explained with proper research. Many UFO sightings were misidentifications of natural or manmade sources. Some of the sightings were explained as bright meteors, sky lanterns, bright planets, and odd meteorological events. Some Bigfoot sightings were explained as bear, large shaggy dogs, or hunters in camouflage.
During 2019, there were reports of large triangular, cigar, spherical, and rectangular shaped objects observed from various areas such as locations in Westmoreland, Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Armstrong, Washington and many other counties. There were reports of the “mini-UFOs” that I have been investigating since the 1960s. They are generally small in size and quite often spherical in shape. They have approached close to observers, and have entered homes and cars through open windows.
In the past, there have been annual reports of both UFOs and cryptids, and various other strange encounters from credible eyewitnesses that could not be so easily dismissed. Witnesses to these various phenomena come from all walks of life including men, women, and children. Some were educators, engineers, police officers, hunters, and pilots. They had nothing to gain by reporting these accounts, and most want no publicity.
I receive current UFO, Bigfoot, cryptid, and other anomaly reports on a regular basis via phone and email reports. I also maintain contact with many research groups and independent researchers in the field who also receive incident reports from their local areas.
The following is a synopsis of some of the interesting cases that came to my attention from across Pennsylvania during 2019:
January 2019– I received a number of reports of possible Thunderbird encounters from various locations. One report from the Mon Valley area described a huge black bird that had a bulb shape appendage on the end of its tail. The creature made slow wing flaps as it moved across the sky.
January 21, 2019- During the early morning hours a series of strange footprints were seen in the snow in Derry Township. These tracks were similar to others that have been found over the years around Derry Township near the Chestnut Ridge.
January 22, 2019- During the afternoon in Tioga County, witnesses observed a luminous orange sphere that maneuvered around the sky, then hovered and ascended into the sky and was gone.
January 24,2019- Near Hopwood during a heavy snow in the afternoon, a witness shoveling snow during the snow storm observed a black sphere hovering about 300 feet over some trees in the area. The object seemed to diminish in size rather then move off. The witness watched the object for about 5 minutes, and tried to take a picture, but the snow was so heavy he was unable to capture the image.
February, 2019– During the dark early morning hours on Route 130 several miles outside of Greensburg, a 7-8 feet tall, hair covered creature with long arms that hardly moved walked across the road about 50 feet in front of a car. A witness told me that the creature seemed to suddenly just appear, walk across the road and was just gone from sight. Also during February, I received several reports of mystery booms that reportedly shook homes in Westmoreland County.
February-March 2019– Reports were received from various counties in Southwest Pennsylvania of loud screams and howls from wooded areas. In one report from Butler County, residents heard coyote howls, and at the same time heard a much louder and longer howl.
February-March– More reports of odd lights in the sky, loud screams and howls, and giant bird reports.On March 19th in a suburb of Pittsburgh, a witness reported seeing a large triangular object low in the sky with three non-blinking white lights at each point, and a large red light beneath the object.
March-April 2019– Numerous reports of strange howls and screams from rural Delmont, Apollo, and other locations. In early April, a witness in rural Allegheny County reported observing a 4-5 foot tall Bigfoot with dark hair and long swinging arms near the woods behind his home.
April 2019– Reports were circulating around Butler County that a creature described as a giant black wolf that stood 3-4 feet tall had been attacking animals in the area. One witness told me that a large dark animal ran so fast in front of his car that it only looked like a blur.
May 2019- In a rural area near North Versailles in Allegheny County a man described to me seeing what appeared to be a small Bigfoot walk across his yard then went into a wooded area. Moments later at that exact location, a small sphere of light exited the woods and shined a beam of light from it and then vanished from sight. In Greene County odd 4 toed footprints were found in the vicinity of where a large amount of apples went missing.
June 4, 2019– A significant UFO incident occurred near the Youngstown side of the Chestnut Ridge outside of Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Two people traveling through the area that evening saw something in the sky that evening that they couldn’t explain. The passenger saw it first and was confused about what she was seeing since it looked so unusual. She saw what appeared to be a glass tube cylinder among bright lights that seemed to be covered with a smoke or haze. The cylinder appeared to be attached to a large V shaped object with several rows of different colored lights.
The driver pulled over and observed a V shaped object hovering about 60 feet over the trees. The object was estimated to be about 40-50 feet long and was made up of 50 or more luminous white rectangular lights that would brighten and dim at times. Above the smaller lights were four larger round lights that were strobing and orange, blue, red, and green in color. The brightness of these colors appeared pale compared to the smaller rectangular white lights. These lights seem to strobe from left to right. There was a larger light that produced a beam that was scanning the sky above the object.
The driver lowered the windows as they continued to watch the object. The two observers were amazed that the hovering object was completely silent. As the witnesses continued to watch the object, some odd affects took place. The driver stated that it was as though “the electronic system of the car was having a seizure.” The radio was off at the time, however, they suddenly began to hear an odd clicking sound inside the vehicle but they were unable to locate the source. At the same time it was noticed that the dash lights were dimming on and off with the beat of the clicking sound. The driver also stated that soon after he was having a problem with his cell phone dropping its signal several times.
The observers watched the object for about 3 minutes but became very disturbed by the encounter and decided to leave the area and continue down the road. The passenger stated, “we were beside ourselves in awe.” They didn’t even think of trying to take a picture.
The object was still hovering as they began to drive down the road going about 30 miles per hour. That is when something else strange occurred. About 30 seconds after they left the location of the observation, a deer ran out from the woods in front of their car. The driver of the car is an experienced outdoorsman and said the deer looked dazed and confused. As they continued down the road more animals were exiting from the woods as though they had been frightened by the object.
Also during June, more UFO sightings continued to be reported. There were also reports of possible Bigfoot activity. A possible footprint was found near Fairchance as well as odd tree damage observed. A healthy tree about 10 feet tall had a branch that appeared to be torn, twisted and broken. No other trees in the area showed anything similar. This same type of tree damage was also observed in the last couple of years in other areas of southwest Pennsylvania where Bigfoot activity had been reported.
A possible Bigfoot track was found on the evening of June 1, 2019, not far from the campsite event. The next day while looking over the area Stan noticed some odd tree damage to a healthy tree.

I also received reports from other sources that there have been more sightings of a tall, very skinny, humanoid creature with long arms. There have been a number of similar reports of this cryptid observed in southwestern sections of Pennsylvania since 2017.
July 2019- A motorist driving along a rural road not far from Youngwood noticed something unusual. About 15 feet away stepping out from a series of bushes, he noticed a 3-4 feet tall hairless humanoid creature. The skinny being had an oval shaped head and black eyes. As soon as his headlights illuminated that area, the creature quickly moved back into the bushes.
On a property in Fayette County where there have been ongoing UFO, Bigfoot, and paranormal incidents for several years,witnesses reportedly saw a large Bigfoot observing two smaller Bigfoot creatures that were close by. In the Acme area, a creature described as 6 feet tall, covered with gray hair and long arms was reported on more than one occasion. In the area where the creature had been seen a strong unpleasant smell was also reported.
Beginning in July and continuing through October of 2019, I was receiving widespread reports from such areas as Ligonier, Mount Pleasant Township, and Delmont where observers at night were seeing bright light sources high in the sky that at times hovered, performed loops, and zig-zagged. On occasion more than one object would join another object in the sky then would take off at a high rate of speed.
August 15, 2019- A witness told researcher Jim Brown what he had observed near Markleysburg at around 4:30 PM. What caught his attention was what he described as a black ball about the size of a full moon that came out of the northwest and flew into a puffy white cloud. He noticed that was the only cloud in the sky at the time. He called his wife to come out so he could tell her what he saw. Both were on the porch looking at the cloud.
About 5 minutes later they saw two more black balls appear that came from different directions and flew into the same cloud and also never came out. His wife went into the house to get a camera and while she was gone a fourth object came out of the west and entered the cloud. This one was larger than the other ones. It had four spikes sticking out of each side of it. Almost as soon as it entered, the cloud turned a slightly yellow color then seemed to just “wash itself out of the sky”.
During late August in Armstrong County, a witness on a beautiful morning observed what appeared to be a solid silver oval shaped object hovering in the clear sky. The silent object, estimated to be 80 feet long, was hovering then moved off slowly. The solid object suddenly began to slowly fade from view beginning at the back end of the object and extended towards the front until it vanished from sight.
September 2019- During the early morning near Brownsville, a large cigar shaped object was observed moving slowly through the sky. The object had 8-10 lights in a row that were red and blinked on and off. The object was estimated to be about 100 feet in length. During the observation, something similar to a fluorescent tube emitted from the main object and went under it then returned back up to it. During September there were many other UFO reports. Bigfoot activity was being reported from eastern Pennsylvania.
October 2019– On the evening of October 3, 2019, a series of UFO encounters began in Cambria County near Johnstown. Witnesses near South Fork reported seeing a large metallic cigar shaped object with many bright lights moving very low above the ground. Later that evening another report came in from the Nanty Glo area. A witness reported seeing a cigar shaped object that looked metallic and was completely illuminated and very bright. The object seemed to be about 60-70 feet long and was moving through an area of fog. The object began to fade in and out and alternated from very bright to dim then just vanished from sight. Over the next week, other UFO sightings were reported from around the same area.
Near Scottdale a large elongated object with many very bright white lights moved very fast across the sky making a loud high pitched sound. There were many other UFO reports from other locations in the state. In Erie County a witness reported observing a conical bright beam of light in the sky that projected to the ground. There were several bright white flashes and a bright illumination, then suddenly it zoomed across the sky and was gone in seconds.
November 2019– During the afternoon of Nov 8, 2019 a man traveling on a rural road outside of Masontown observed a silver gray sphere about 2 feet in diameter on the ground and blocking the road ahead of him. The man couldn’t figure out what it was, but decided to approach the object and move it so he could continue his journey. He was about 50 feet away from the object when he opened the car door and noticed that the object was starting to fade away. It slowly began to continue to fade away and completely disappeared.
December 19, 2019– A motorist driving near Harrison City during the early morning observed what appeared to be a hovering large solid object that had a huge round light on its flat bottom and two red blinking lights at each corner. That same afternoon, a report came in from Jefferson County of possibly 30 silver or translucent objects moving in a V formation across the sky. The witness was certain what was observed were not geese at the altitude the objects were moving at.
There have historically been many UFO and cryptid encounters reported in Fayette County along the Chestnut Ridge. Researcher Jim Brown www.jimsdestinations.com has investigated several of the Fayette County incidents mentioned in this report.
The summary of the reports you have read are some of the strange incidents that were reported during 2019. A surge of UFO, and cryptid activity actually began in January of 2018 throughout Pennsylvania and continued throughout 2019. Dogman of Hawk Hollow Preserve, Illinois
I recently received the following account:
Hi Lon,
Here’s a personal story that was fairly recent.
We were driving home from my parents’ place in Streamwood, Illinois and went through Bartlett like we typically do. On Bartlett Rd approaching Schick Rd there’s a prairie/forest preserve named Hawk Hollow. That general area is supposedly haunted, especially the park/old school yard nearby.
Now, I’ve known this and have prayed against this entity specifically - dog-like spirit with a human or human-like face. I have never seen it, but the area has had many reports of general paranormal action and this dog-thing is mentioned. I always keep a lookout when we drive through there because deer might jump out and because you never know what you’ll see.
So my wife was driving, and I was looking around (for anything weird and also because I like spotting wildlife). It was dark — around 8:30 pm this past December. I happen to look down for a second (I think I happened to drop my phone or something) and my wife asks, “did you see that?”
I knew what it was before she said anything else.
She knew nothing of my knowledge of the things going on in that area, and I hadn’t disclosed my prayers against any evil residing there. I replied, “did you see something weird?” She said, “I think so. It looked like a shadow that ran across the road.”
“Did it look like a dog?” I asked. She said it did and was wondering how I knew since I didn’t see it. She said it wasn’t a solid animal like a coyote (which we see now and then), she said it was transparent and dog-like but ‘drawn out’ or ‘thin’. I then told her a bit about that area.
It’s funny that it happened to run across when I wasn’t watching.
I think it’s likely aware of God intervening through my prayer, and it’s not very happy with me. That’s fine with me. I know it’s up to no good, and I’m not afraid of it or its brethren. AM

Four Red-Eyed Winged Humanoids Reported in Berwyn, Illinois
The following account was reported to Tobias Wayland at The Singular Fortean Society. Tobias, and his wife Emily, are also members of Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research:
The Singular Fortean Society was contacted recently by a woman wishing to report her 2001 sighting of four winged humanoids in Berwyn, Illinois. The witness said that she was directed by one of her sons to view the Small Town Monsters documentary Terror in the Skies, and after watching the ‘Chicago Mothman’ portion of the film, decided she wanted to disclose her sighting to investigator Tobias Wayland.
She initially contacted Wayland via Facebook Messenger, where they were able to schedule a phone interview."In 2001 we were in my backyard in Berwyn, which is next to Cicero, just outside of Chicago. We were having a picnic in the backyard. It was about nine or ten o’clock at night. Now, it scares me to talk about this, because I don’t want to bring bad juju on myself," she said over the phone. "I was in the backyard cleaning up and I look up in the air—it was a beautiful, moonlit night, just a couple days before 9/11—and the moon’s out but it’s kind of cloudy, I’ve got tiki torches in the backyard and those really big balls that light up like half a block. I’m by myself, outside, cleaning and gathering stuff off of the table, and I see four humongous—they looked humongous—people, they looked like men, and they were all black and they had big wings, I mean HUGE wings. The wings were not feathery, they were bat wings or demon wings. I looked at them and there were four in a row, and they looked like they were standing up [horizontally] as they flew. They were muscular, they were big, and I looked up and went ‘Oh my God, what the [expletive] is that?’"
The witness offered that she’s “sensitive,” in the sense of having a natural affinity for psychic phenomena.“I’ve got these weird gifts and they’ve always been scary to me; I never understood them,” she said. “I found out after years of therapy and talking to priests that I’m blessed, and you can either learn to use it or suppress it. I chose to suppress it, because it’s scary.”
That sensitivity might help explain what came next."They didn’t hear me, they were too high up to hear me, but two of them looked directly at me, and when they looked at me, they had red eyes," she said. "I freaked out, because they looked directly into my eyes. I ran into my house, and I was starting to cry because I was freaking out. My cousin, who has since passed away, said ‘What’s wrong? What happened? What’s the matter?’ But I was too afraid to speak; I just wanted to go back outside to make sure they were gone. I went out there and they were gone. They never came back. I was afraid for weeks after that to go outside."
Like many witnesses, she shared her experience with a few people, only to be mocked. Still, she stands by her story."This was not my imagination. I don’t do drugs and I don’t drink. This blew my mind; completely blew my mind. I told some people at work, but of course they laughed at me. They taunted me; thought I was crazy. To this day, I know what I saw. I won’t let anyone try to manipulate my story or tell me I was hallucinating," she said.
Several years ago, over a decade after the sighting, one of her sons mentioned to her the significance of the date and its proximity to the national tragedy of 9/11.
The witness’ testimony and corresponding weather data tentatively indicate the night of the sighting to be September 8th, three days before the terrorist attacks."My son, who’s 32, said to me ‘Mom, this is really odd, but did you ever think that 9/11 happened right after you saw [those winged creatures]?’ I said, ‘No, I never thought of that.’ He said, ‘You saw four of them, right?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ He said, ‘Right in front of each other like perfectly aligned, and they were huge with humongous wings. They were out to do something; you could tell they were on a mission. You got the [Twin Towers of the World Trade Center], you’ve got [the Pentagon], and you’ve got [Flight 93] that crashed in a field.’ I said, ‘Oh my God, I never thought of that. I never ever thought of that,'" she said of the possible correspondences.
Many believe that sightings of 'Mothman,' as red-eyed, winged creatures are often called, are portents of tragedy, although this belief is contested within the paranormal community.
Regardless of the veracity of that connection, the effect this experience had on the witness is undeniable.
"I never even knew Mothman existed, never heard any of the stories," she said, "There’s a lot of stuff that I never dabbled in, ever. Which is scary, because you’ve got nobody to talk to, and you’re afraid to talk to people. You’re afraid to say what you’ve seen. I never called the police; I was so scared."
Berwyn, Illinois, is approximately 10 miles west of Lake Michigan, and within a few miles of Cicero and Little Village—both of which have seen numerous reports of weird, winged beings.

Faceless Shapeshifting Entity Observed on Cedar Lake, Indiana Farm
I recently received the following account from 'BR' in Indiana:
Hi Lon. I wanted to reach out to you from Cedar Lake, Indiana about an incident that I had which has left me and my kids quite rattled. Something really shocking to me happened very late on the 30th of October. I realized that I forgot to turn a light off in the barn while I was taking my dog out one last time around 2350 just before Halloween. I was making sure that she finished before I put her inside to go to the barn since we do have a lot of coyote here. I went around the corner of my house with the dog on a leash. It is basically pitch black beside the glow from a light in my daughter's room from her hermit crab tank, from what I can see. Below her room is a walkout basement with a small driveway with hills on either side of it. The dog and I are standing facing the direction about 20 feet before the first "hill" that goes down into the walkout.
I felt an icy cold feeling and not from the weather. It was windy and I stopped walking because I knew something was around. The dog started to bark in a very high pitched way and growling in between while trying to drag me towards the hill. I was trying to see but my brain was not making sense at all of what I was looking at. At first, I thought maybe a deer was standing on the hill. I could see an outline of something whitish and opaque but dull due to the lighting. I looked to adjust my eyes since I could plainly make out the window clearly. The area that I was trying to focus on began to look like static from an old TV. I thought maybe the street light from afar was giving off some white-ish light. Then I remembered that we had two streetlights on our driveway turned off about a month ago because my husband was going to install his own.
I saw this thing grow into something tall, lanky, and super skinny. It did not have a face at all. No face!! It had long darker things like flowing clothes or hair or something that was moving/flapping in the wind. It is hard to explain. I couldn't tell at first if it was standing on the opposite side of the hill or if it was in the driveway until it rose to the size of the window which would be the size of a second story. I felt so sick to my stomach.
It turned it's "head" and all that I could see was static-like darkness. I almost did a backflip with the dog back onto the deck and ran inside. I had to drag that dog with me. I was so afraid of what I saw. All that I could feel was ice cold and nausea. Ugh
I got back inside and just leaned on the wall because my heart felt like it was going to fly out of my chest. My son was in the kitchen and I told him what happened after I could talk. I honestly could not believe what I saw and I have seen a lot of crap. Once I could find my voice. I asked my son if he would please drive with me to the barn because I just saw something and I don't believe what I saw. I was afraid at that point to go alone. I explained what I saw. He said that he believes it may have been some kind of shapeshifting thing. I am not well-versed in that kind of thing. I have seen many, many things paranormal...but this sucker took the cake. I can't to this day get over what I visually saw before me. Anyway, my son and I got into the car right away from the front of the house (I live on a 20 acre farm) to go drive around back to the barn. We REALLY looked to see if we could find it again, but we didn't. BR
I got back to BR and asked her a few other questions:
Lon, all that I know is what I saw. It did not have a face and it grew larger right before my eyes. I honestly don't know. It looked like a deer at first bit it was dark. The dog was dragging me towards it, and I couldn't help but notice the static darkness surrounding it as it "grew". It had no face. No face!!! It turned its head towards me and the barking dog amd had no face. Just a darker hole?
I have never ever, ever encountered anything like that in all of my 45 years. I have a solid background of military, brief law enforcement, and medical certifications. I'm not crazy.
I just don't know what to make of it. I have to say that I get a little hesitant taking the dog out so late now. I normally can "feel' entities, etc. That part is not new to me. This was like a normal, calm setting completely changed in an instant. Once me son and I got into my car, I saw the time. 1205 am. So, it had to have happened right around midnight. He usually does not get very moved by odd occurrences. He is now 21 (November birthday). He asked my daughter to watch him go to the mailbox the next few days because it was dark and he seems to think that a shapeshifter thing only wants to do harm. Again, I am not well-versed in any of that. I am more scientific amd debunking before I make an assumption. I can remember seeing what looked like pieces of a long, cloak? flowing in the wind. It was very transparent and very static-like. Like snow from an old TV when we were kids. Just creepy to say the least.
I had told a friend about what happened. She posted something on my wall. It was an article with your name in it. This is why I reached out to you. I wondered why I didn't tell you any sooner after I read it. I just honestly am so busy with starting a farm, etc., that I just didn't think of it. There is a lot of history here where I live. The only thing different that week that happened was that someone spread ashes of two people in the "pet cemetery" by the barn because they had lived here previously. I am not doting on that fact, just wanting to advise. That happened on that Monday, and I believe Halloween was on a Thursday. It snowed as well later on Halloween. I just wish that my mind could make sense if it. That's the hardest part for me. The flowing gauze-like clothes of the finished product after it grew, and the lack of face makes me get the heebie jeebies. BR

Bigfoot / UFO Encounter in Chase County, Kansas
“Until you experience Bigfoot for yourself, those who have made claims will no longer be crazy to those who have not witnessed them. Bigfoot is regarded as a tribe for Native Americans. There are still tribes in South America in the deep untouched areas that are being discovered. And many species of mammals appearing. For me, I am from Hawaii and was skeptical. But when I lived in Kansas, I changed my mind after it happened to me.
It happened in 2009, I tried to contact BFRO about it. It was in October at Chase County Lake, near Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. Before 10:00 PM, my ex-boyfriend and I made a fire at almost the far end of the lake and I sensed something was behind me. The fireflies were out and the glow of the fire was casting its light on the tall grass and the silhouette of the hill was noticeable because it was a full moon. My ex and I kept seeing what you call UFO's. They would look like satellites coming from one direction, then they zip fast towards the other direction like a shooting star. There were objects that would glow bright out of nowhere and then all of sudden disappear, then come back in different colors. Now that was going on for awhile and I then heard something brush in the grass. I looked and kept seeing a black large object move, but it was silent as it moved. I was thinking are my eyes playing tricks on me? I still felt a presence. It was very unsettling. I kept telling my ex about it and he did not know what it was, but I truly felt he was fixated on the objects in the sky. I kept seeing this large mass and I was getting frightened, so I tried to concentrate on the fire burning and staring at the embers flying up to the blue black sky, on the left, the moon cast its bright light.
As I was finally easing down, a sound behind us roared so loud. It was so powerful that I could feel my entire body to the bone vibrate. It was a long roar and growl mix into one. There was absolutely no one on the lake as we would have seen a car pass and before that we checked to see if anyone was there. My ex he does not get scared by anything, but this made him jump out of his chair and said, 'Hurry up, and get into the van.' He was so terrified he kept dropping things. So we got into van and as we were driving off. We saw no one parked on the side coming in but as we booked it down the dusty road filled with potholes, before we hit a bend, we saw what looked like two very large head lights come out of nowhere and it came at us so fast that we kept looking at the rear view mirror and it separated from each side of the van, then just out of nowhere disappeared.
When we got home and we noticed that there were lights in the sky following us. We were in silence and disbelief at all we had witnessed. Then we went into the house and told his mom. Very Tall, Thin 'Mantis-Like' Humanoid Encountered in Chicago's Schiller Park
The following report was received by Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team member Manuel Navarette at UFO Clearinghouse:

Sighting Description:
My boyfriend and I were at Schiller Woods on Sunday, December 23rd. We conducting doing a small Wiccan ritual in the woods when we saw a large, thin man appear out of the woods and start staring us down. The man was extremely tall, about 7 ½ – 8 feet tall and very, very thin. He was easily half the size of my boyfriend and his arms hung down toward his knees. At first I was like, “Holy sh*t! It’s Slenderman!" But I quickly realized that it did not look like any man I have ever seen. First off, his eyes were huge, almost looked like a praying mantises eyes, just jet black. He was wearing coveralls that were grey in color and he looked like he was carrying a wand of some sort in his right hand. My boyfriend and I didn’t feel scared, just a little shaken up. We stood there staring at each other for about a minute before it stepped behind some trees and disappeared. Once we lost sight of him, that is when the fear set in and we got out of those woods as quickly as we could. We were both sober, although we had smoked a little bud earlier as part of the ritual. It helps open our aura and allows us to channel energy better.
My boyfriend and I are available to talk about this and can show you where we were at, it’s right off the main trail, by the small traffic circle near the back of the woods.
Investigator's Notes:
I spoke with both witnesses via phone and obtained the location of the sighting and the details that lead up to the sighting. The reporting witness is a 27-year-old female and the second witness is her 28-year-old boyfriend. Both witnesses are from nearby River Grove, Illinois and both have been practicing Wicca for about 4 years. The witnesses have indicated that they have both been to Schiller Woods on multiple occasions to do rituals and have seen other practicing groups there before. When asked why they go there for ritual, the female witness said they can practice in relative peace with little to no disturbance from the outside world.
When asked about the encounter, the female witness said they were there to do a Yule ritual for prosperity. They were almost complete with the ritual when they both said she heard a very high pitched sound that came out of nowhere. When she looked up, she saw the being attempting to hide behind a row of trees about 15 yards from them. The being she described as being between 7-8 feet tall and appeared extremely thin and looked like he was wearing a grey jumpsuit. She said that the being’s arms were very long and hung to just above his knees and looked like they had claws. I asked her to please describe this and she said they were long and just looked like they were tipped with claws or what looked like claws. She went further in describing the being as being smooth headed, no indication of hair and with eyes that were insect-like only jet black and took up most of its face.
When asked if the being tried to move toward them, both indicated that it stayed behind the row of trees and would only move to conceal itself from them. Both witnesses indicated that they were both in full view of the being and that the being must have been aware that they could see it as well. Both witnesses agreed that this went on for over a full minute before the entity stepped behind the row of trees and disappeared from view. Both witnesses said that once the being was gone they felt an overwhelming urgency to leave, the feeling bordered on fear and it was like someone had unleashed a pent up wall of fear that had somehow been held back during the encounter. Both witnesses gathered up their things and quickly left, got in their car and drove away and out of Schiller Woods. When asked if they noticed anything out of the ordinary as they were leaving such as lights in the sky, or unusual mist, etc. The female witness said she did notice a lack of wildlife as they left. The female witness indicated that those particular woods are teeming with deer and raccoons and other wildlife and at that time of the late afternoon/early evening, they were out in droves grazing and feeding. These deer are used to people and do not scatter unless directly approached and yet on the way out she saw no wildlife at all, no deer anywhere.
When asked about the use of marijuana in their rituals, both indicated that they both did smoke marijuana prior to the ritual as a sort of ritual aid but that the sighting they had was not induced by or influenced by the marijuana. Both claim they were sober and clear-headed during the encounter. Both witnesses appeared to be sincere and both did not seem to be fabricating any part of the encounter. Both witnesses indicated that they will eventually go back to the woods for ritual and that they feel that their lives were not in any danger. An investigator with UFO Clearinghouse will be making a field visit to Schiller Woods in the upcoming days and any photos and information from that field visit will be posted on this page.
NOTE: Can this possibly be related to the winged humanoid sightings throughout the general area? The body seems somewhat similar to previous reports. Very interesting. Lon

Hi Lon,
The photo included in this email is from my friend's game camera. He works out of town and once he returned home, he checked his camera and this amazing picture was on there. He lives in Clarksville, Ga, in the woods on his family's private property. This area of Georgia has had many tales of Bigfoot and strange happenings / sightings with no explanation for them. My friend said growing up on that property he has smelled foul odors outside that can't be explained. He heard "whoops" and also has heard knocking on trees many different times. All of that still continues. This photo was taken in February 2019.
To me, the figure in the image looks to have a mane or spike type of hair on top of head. And just below the hairline, it looks like a large fold on forehead that you often see on gorillas. Where the mouth would be, looks to me like the top part of it looks to protrude on inside, kind of like a primates mouth does. And then you see where this creature's massive shoulders and arms start and how big and broad he is. Not to mention how tall he is.
I can assure you 100% legit. This image is in no way manipulated or photoshopped. This is no joke. KD

'Little Folks' Living Under the House
I recently came across the following account:
My mum is from the Philippines and there are many tales of supernatural creatures roaming every stretch of the country. Most sound ludicrous and exaggerated, but none more so than the “Duende” and the experience I am going to relay.
My grandmother kept some chickens and dogs, who roamed the grounds, including a pair of turkeys who would wander underneath the house and freak me out as a child.
One day when I was still small enough to walk underneath the house dodging cobwebs and such, I came across some tall thickly painted red crosses on the stilts and by the high walls surrounding one side of the house. Having never noticed this before, I asked my mum about it, who proceeded to tell me what they were about.
To set the scene, it is important to know details about my mum’s family home in the farming provincial area of North Philippines. My grandparents were rice farmers and my mum and 3 of her siblings lived in the house with them, either studying at University or working in the nearby City in Finance.
A typical “Tagalog” house, raised on stilts, was built sometime during the 1950s, and had dark, dark mahogany type floorboards and furniture. The floor where the dining room crosses into the kitchen however is made from bamboo and is springy when walked across. There are small gaps in between these whereby you can see down into the ground underneath the house. The whole compound was fairly sized with concrete and brick walls 8 foot high studded with broken glass for security.
My mum lived with her other female siblings and chores always shared including laundry. No one's clothes were kept separate, and everyone’s clothing went into one wash basin. The clothes were then hung on the various clothes lines in the backyard.
Her youngest sibling Ella was around 21 at the time, and started to notice her underwear missing from the washing line, prominent gaps where panties were supposed to be drying in the sun. Thinking nothing of it, and putting it down to birds or another sibling pulling pranks on her, she learnt to ignore it.
Weeks passed and buying knickers was getting to be a very expensive habit. Angry and frustrated about the “prank”, Ella questioned everyone about why they were picking on her, and her underwear only.
No one owned up to stealing her panties, with everyone absolutely firm and adamant that it wasn’t them and retorts of “why on earth would we do that?” Ella grew less angry and just remained frustrated at why it was only her underwear missing from a line of 6 other people.
The maids were questioned, and again, firm shakes of heads followed. There was absolutely no reason for the stealing - the knickers were not expensive and (dare I say it) some full of holes! There was completely no reason as to why they were being taken - and of course to where and for what purpose?
The washing was monitored for signs of animals or birds stealing them, and nothing noted. If it was an animal, it would be very clever for them to only know to steal from one particular person.
After so many weeks of this happening, my grandfather, having had enough of the whole situation, called a local “Manghuhula”, or psychic to take a look at the house and investigate who or what might be causing the distress.
The Manghuhula took a walk around the compound and immediately picked up that my family weren’t the only ones living at that residence.
She sat the family down upstairs and revealed that she had discovered a small family of Dwende living under the coconut trees, stretching their territory right up to the area underneath the house itself. Everyone was shocked and slightly bewildered as no one was particularly superstitious. Yes they had all heard about the “little folk”, as folklore, but never had any connection with them.
She mentioned that the Duende were usually tree living beings, and because they were invisible to people with their “third eye” closed, only certain people could pick up on their existence. Third eye being the psychic or sixth sense that allows people to see through the veil of our normal world, and into another crossover.
It is customary in Filipino culture to always say 'excuse me' when walking under trees or in long grass to avoid stepping on the creatures. If you do not, the Duende can cast revenge, either making you sick or injured shortly after. There are both good and bad, trickster and malicious Duende.
The Manghuhula was able to see that the culprit of Ella’s panty stealing was a Duende of that family living there. She was able to attest to the reason why as well. You see, that particular Duende had a huge crush on Ella, and would steal her panties, probably to become noticed or for other unmentionable means.
Ella and the family were then led under the house, whereby every single pair of missing panties were found - tightly and nearly folded and stuffed into cracks underneath the house.
The Manghuhula blessed the house with holy coconut oil and prayers were said to move on the family of Dwende.
Afterward, it was advised that red crosses were to be painted underneath the house, and white crosses placed in windows to draw away and discourage anything spiritual to reside there again.
To this day, the house is still standing, with its fortress of crosses. Who knows whether or not anything managed to slip past the warnings and is residing there currently, dormant, against the will of my family. LC
