Bigfoot Habituation / Close Encounter Near Shiprock, New Mexico

The following account comes from the Jc Johnson archives:

The last time I reported on Jc Johnson and the Crypto Four Corners folks they had announced that a group had been formed with the intentions of submitting Sasquatch hair and tissue samples for a new DNA study. With the assistance of Dr. Christopher, Anthropology Department at the University of New Mexico, the participants had agreed to submit the material as a faction. Many of the participants were previously involved with the Ketchum study. In light of the findings and ridicule of the Melba Ketchum genome results, which Jc and others still believe are valid, each participant agreed to accept the findings of this new study. The hope is that the findings from the Ketchum study are validated by the new conclusions. I make note of the collection of samples because the location I’m about to describe provided many hair samples for the study.

The location is near the San Juan River in the vicinity of the Shiprock, NM on the Dine Navajo Reservation. It is the homestead of George Harvey, including his mother and his siblings. George had previously chronicled the behavior of the Sasquatch during the many years his family has lived on the property. During one particular incident, George observed an adult and two juvenile Bigfoot walk towards the mesa behind their home. Dr. Christopher noted that the face of the mesa may have been at a 45 degree angle. George noted that the Bigfoot easily traversed the steep ascent to the top, in order to gather food in the nearby cornfield and orchard. There have also been incidents of stone barrages on the property.


The interview on the daylight encounter video took place on January 11, 2015. George’s sister, Alex, recalls an encounter she had on January 4, 2015 with a group 'furry ones'...part of a larger habituation group that migrates throughout the area. Alex was driving a four-wheeler on the homestead, along with her dogs, when she encountered several huge figures hiding behind a cropping of trees. It was at that point when 3 Bigfoot stepped out, stunning Alex since she had never encountered any of these beings previously. Her brothers had mentioned that they did exist, but she never believed the accounts. In fact, this group of Bigfoot had been researched by Jc Johnson and others in his group for approximately an 8 year period. When Alex told her mother about the encounter, she referred to the Bigfoot has her ‘hairy boys,’ so their presence was well-known.

Alex’s description of the largest Bigfoot was that it stood about 12 ft. and was covered in dark brown hair. Jc later mentioned that the Bigfoot was known by them as ‘Rufus’ and that they had photographs of previous encounters. Alex also said that there was a 10 ft Bigfoot, similar in description as Rufus. The youngest member of the group stood about 8 ft. and had reddish colored hair. She described that each of their faces were mostly hairless with dark brown skin, flat narrow noses and wide foreheads. She also stated that Rufus had large bulbous eyes that may have been 3 inches in diameter.


As Alex sat in the four-wheeler, paralyzed from the shock of this encounter, she noticed the 10 ft Bigfoot made a whistling sound. Her dog Zora approached and laid down near the youngest member of the trio. The Bigfoot remarkably reached down and rubbed Zora’s ear. As it turns out, these Bigfoot have previously brought bones of kills to Zora while tied up on the homestead property at night. The young Bigfoot has also been known to ‘draw’ on rocks.

From the information I received from Jc, there are several Bigfoot clans in the general area. Another known group includes a older female who has been seen with several juveniles over the years...at one point she had 3 sons travelling with her. It seems that these hominids are not monogamous and that the female, in particular, had bred with several males in a wide migration area.

At the present time, photographic evidence is being suppressed. There is much more research required on the various clans within the habituation area. This is also tribal land...and all respect to the privacy and customs of its resident must be maintained.

Pink Winged Humanoid Observed in Tree

So, this happened around 7 years ago in 2012, I was 9 years old. My house is in front of a small forest area, so the backyard is a large clearing with lots of trees behind it, which is bordered by a fence my father built. In the backyard there is also a greenhouse and a shed. Behind the trees is a small 5 trailer home park.

So I remember going outside during a cloudy day to get my dog since he was outside. He was outside for way longer than usual so I got worried and went to take a look.

As I went down the balcony steps to go into the backyard my dog instantly ran towards the trees and started to bark. I looked up at the trees and saw a pinkish humanoid figure about 6 feet tall with wings. The creature most likely saw me, and it climbed through the trees and bushes and attempted to fly up, but it couldn’t since the trees were so thick. I ran up the stairs to the balcony and watched my dog continue to bark. The creature had disappeared so I was worried to where it had gone.

I’m not sure what happened after this as my memory is quite foggy of this incident, but I’m guessing that I ran inside and hid.

I’ve conjured up a few theories as to what it could be, and I assume that it was either a featherless eagle, or some naked weirdo climbing in the trees. CB

Pale White Figures

“I don’t know what I saw. When I was like 4 or 5 and my family and I came home from the grocery store. My dad told me to unlock the door and that they’d get the stuff out of the trunk. When I entered my house I looked down the hallway and I say a pure white figure peaking out of my brother's room door. I tried to say hello to it and wave but got no response. Out of fear I left to my family and told my father I say someone in my brother's room. When my father went to check my brother's room and then the rest of the house he told us he saw nothing. Another similar thing happened.

I don’t remember how old I was but I was younger than 6. I saw a boy walking into the same hallway (the one I saw the man) not much taller than me, his skin was as light as snow, this boy had a hat, one of those rainbow baseball caps like one of those propeller hats, he was also wearing jeans and I don’t remember exactly what color his shirt was. I was playing my stuffed animals while my parents were working and my brothers were playing outside. I tried to talk to the boy thinking he was one of my brothers’ friends but he wouldn’t answer. He turned into my brother's room and the door closed. Wanting to play with him I opened the door and he wasn’t anywhere, I checked under the bed and in the closet and under the covers but I saw nothing. When I was younger I thought nothing of these things but when I look back, I wish I someone else was there to confirm what I saw just be sure I know I wasn’t imagining things. I have moved from that house and never saw anything like that again. Both seemed more average bodied, like if a mannequin could be in someone’s house, one unmoving and the other smaller one able to, both only appeared once.” SB

“My uncle told me a story. A few years ago my grandma passed away. My younger cousin was about three at the time of my grandma's death. So a few days before my grandma's funeral my uncle walks into the room my cousin was in hearing her talking to someone. He asks her who she is talking to and she says 'Grandma.' He told me that he just kinda got creeped out and didn't know what to do. This story is what really made me believe in it. I only have one "ghost" story that happened to me. So a few years ago I was sitting in my living room where we have sliding glass doors that lead out onto the patio and into the back yard. On the left side of me there are windows and then across the living room on the opposite side was the sliding glass doors. It must have been about 10 or 11 at night since it was pitch black out and I was reading a book on the couch. I remember having a weird feeling to look out the sliding glass windows and when I did I saw this about 5 foot figure walking more like floating across the yard. I remember just staring at it thinking it had to be headlights from a car on the street. I went back to reading my book but then decided to look out the window to my left and the shades were drawn so there was no possible way it could've been car headlights. I never got up and locked a door so fast in my life. My mom has a few ghost stories one with a Ouija board that has caused me to never have tried that game as long as I live. Too creepy for me.” TJ

Bizarre Entity Encounters!

This happened in 2016. I'm not sure of the exact date but I do know that it was cooler outside possibly, late fall or early winter. I live in Toledo, Ohio. If your not familiar with that area it basically sits on the border of the Ohio-Michigan state line and about 15-20 minutes from the Indiana border, so around here we just call it NW Ohio. Toledo is very populated city but it also has tons of woods and forest-type areas within the city limits. So even in the city you'll see an occasional deer, fox, skunk, all types of wildlife. To my knowledge Toledo doesn't have bear roaming around especially in the city.

This incident took place maybe a block away from our zoo. Toledo Has one of the best zoos in the USA, but really just known for the Christmas light display. At this time I worked in home health care with MRDD individuals so I would have to work inside the homes for extended hours. My shift was 2-11 pm. Every night I picked my girlfriend up from work around 9 pm and she would just sit with me at work while I finished my shift. Each night when we got back to my job (the house) I would tell my client (MRDD/Resident of the house) to go unlock his house door and turn on the porch light so we could see. So he unlocks the door while me and my girlfriend stayed behind in my car.

Now back then I had 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis And most cars have automatic headlights that turn off a few seconds after you turn the engine off but this car had a toggle switch to manually turn the headlights on or off. So I hit the toggle switch to turn my headlights off and I mean as soon as I turn my headlights off me and my girlfriend saw these two big things just dash down the street ahead. Like I said earlier in the story I am on a residential street parked on the right hand curb side maybe half block but no more than 60-70 yards from the 4 way stop. My car is facing north at this point and the two huge black things came from the east of that 4 way stop running west. Now the direction those things ran was a direct path to Walbridge Park and the Maumee River. I'm sorry if its hard to visualize all of this but I'm trying my best.

What makes this so scary is the feeling that I had as soon as I saw them. I struggled to breathe and I didn't want to breathe too loud or anything. It was just so odd. As far as a description I didn't see any facial features or anything very specific (eye color/shape, lips mouth or nose). I saw a HUGE outline of two big “things” running on all fours. Although these things ran on all fours in my mind I felt as if that wasn't the natural way it got around, if that makes sense. I never saw them in a stationary position, so while running or galloping it was at least 5 and half maybe 6 feet tall. The galloping and running motion was very elusive and they were running in sync. From the outline it was just bulky/muscular and i could tell this because from what i assume to be the backs or shoulders you could see like huge lumps or muscles. Another odd fact was these things looked to be running with their heads straight down like a raging bull and something was sticking up from the neck/head area. This whole encounter only lasted about 5-7 seconds enough time to see them take about 3 gallops or strides.

After seeing them my girlfriend flipped out. I mean she was calm but she didn't want to be in that car any longer. To be honest we didn't really talk about it once we got inside the house. We had other encounters that made us revisit this one. If I saw those two thing stand straight up I'd guess anywhere from 8-11 feet tall. On all fours it looked like a minivan but bigger not as long as a van just the pure size. JD

“My experience with a humanoid creature. So after discovering this sub I remembered something. I was in the car at night on the way home with my mum about 5 years ago. We were on a dark road and something ran in front of us causing my mum to slow down quickly. The thing was running on 4 long limbs and was not a fox or dog as it didn’t look like it had fur, it looked like a human with really long arms and legs but it was running so fast it was almost a blur. My mum does not believe in ghosts or creatures or aliens but even she was seriously freaked out. We talk about it every now and then and we both agree it was one of the most spooky things we have ever experienced. It looked about the size of a human with very long thin limbs, it was light skin colour but because it was running I couldn’t make out many details. I’m from Glasgow in Scotland, I haven’t heard any legends but I’ve never paid attention. I’m not a superstitious person and we were literally just on our way home when this happened out of the blue.” LS

“My great uncle who saw a creature with a bull's head. My family have had lots of paranormal/supernatural experiences and one of those scary ones was one my grandad told me. He told me his brother had once walked into the path of a human but with a bulls head. He was definite it wasn't someone with a mask or being weird in the woods but he was on his way home from work, this smallish park that has a path leading through to the street, is where it happened. My grandad says he remembers his brother racing back home in an utter panic. I don't know but something about that makes me shiver, I knew my grandad wasn't making it up because my dad's family have a history with the paranormal and so have I. If I remember correctly, he said that the creature was facing away, doing what I don't know and then he turned around as my great uncle approached, and obviously he didn't want to stick around so he went the long way round in the street.” UT

'There's something out in the woods...and it's not human!'

I recently received the following account:

In December 2012, I was living in a halfway house on the west side of Shreveport, Louisiana. It was a 5 bedroom house, and I had several roommates. One night, one of my roommates came in from outside, visibly shaken, and confided in me that there was "something out in the woods...and it's not human!" I asked him what he meant, and he said he'd been outside smoking a cigarette and using his phone (which was brand new, by the way, the latest Samsung Galaxy at the time, bought earlier the same day) when his phone had randomly popped up a strange "text-prediction-style" string of words and characters, right before his phone powered itself off. He said that he'd read something along the lines of "I am a very different beautiful creature from" followed by a string of characters he couldn't make sense of. He said it was then that he saw something strange in the woods, got scared and came inside.

To be honest, I thought it was a prank, and I didn't even go outside that night to look. I just said something like "OK good, you made it inside, you're safe, get some sleep, we've got work in the morning", and we did. The next morning, he complained that his phone wouldn't turn on anymore, and that he'd have to go by the store and get it replaced.

The following weekend, I was in my bedroom at night when I observed, out the window, what I first thought was 2 or 3 people with flashlights, in the woods behind the house. I went through the living room, asked the 5 or so roommates watching TV if any of them was expecting company, because someone was coming up the path (we weren't allowed company, so we would have our visitors park at the next place over and walk the path, which was prominent even at night, and going through about 40 yards of pine thicket). Everyone said they weren't, so I went out to investigate. When I got outside, I was able to see more lights in the woods, way off the path, and I realized that even though these lights were moving as if they were walking back and forth, I didn't hear any sound. I observed the lights from a distance at first, and gradually moved closer. The way they were moving reminded me of people looking for something dropped in the woods, except the number of them and their individual locations were changing almost constantly. I saw everywhere between 1 and about 9 of them, repeatedly and without. The form of them was vaguely humanoid in shape, each probably about 6 feet tall, and seemed to be made of rays of light. They reminded me of the streaks of light people normally see when looking towards a light at night. I observed them for about 30 minutes and made several attempts to walk out and investigate more closely, but each time, when I'd get to the edge of the yard where the woods were, they would move towards me and I experienced feelings of fear and panic that made me retreat back to the yard and near the house. After awhile they seemed to stop reappearing after their individual disappearances, until they were all gone.

Later, my roommate told me that what I'd seen were the same things he'd seen the week before, which had somehow interacted with his phone and caused it to break. JW

Red-Eyed Winged Humanoid Confronted by O'Hare International Security Officer

The following information was received by Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team member and UFO Clearinghouse investigator Manuel Navarette:

"My name is (REDACTED) and I live in (REDACTED), Illinois. I’m reluctantly writing to you to report something that I saw a week ago on Tuesday. A little background information first, I am (REDACTED) years old and I have worked at O’Hare since (REDACTED). Part of my job is to routinely patrol the fence lines that surround O’Hare international Airport. I will sometimes have a partner with me, mostly new hires who are going through initial training.

On the night of Tuesday, December 3, 2019, I was heading toward one of the airport cargo hubs. There are multiple hubs scattered throughout the airport. This particular one was the one located on Express Center Drive and it houses at least 6 cargo companies. I was approaching the creek headed toward Montrose Ave when I saw this large person standing down in the creek bed. I stopped, thinking it was maybe a trucker who decided to wander down there to relieve themself.

I put on my lights and stopped my vehicle and was preparing to get out when this man turned toward me and I saw two very bright red eyes. This thing appeared to be looking straight at me and then it turned away and walked away. As it did it unfurled a set of wings and it began to flap them. It looked like a large goose when it wants to take off into the air. It took off into the air and was gone into the darkness. I was left there wondering what in the Hell had just happened and what I had just seen. After I got home, I spent the next few days looking for similar sightings and that is where I came across your website.

I’m going to be blunt here, I don’t believe in hobgoblins and little green men. I’m sure that there must be a rational explanation for this. I have a reputation for being grounded and level-headed. I have worked too hard to get where I am and to have that all trashed by saying that I saw a red-eyed flying man, yet that is what I saw. I am torn between reporting this and keeping my mouth shut to protect my retirement. If I do report this, I want everything to be done to protect my identity."

Investigator's Notes:

The witness was contacted via phone. The witness was extremely hesitant to speak with the investigator and expressed a reluctance to proceed any further but was convinced to speak with the investigator after assurances were made about his identity being withheld and not being made public. The witness states that he has worked at O’Hare since 2003 and that he has never seen anything like what he witnessed on December 3, 2019. The witness describes the area as heavily trafficked, this was verified by the investigator during a subsequent field investigation of the area. The area where the sighting occurred is one of the cargo hubs located around the perimeter of O’Hare and is active 24 hours a day. During the field investigation, multiple semi-trucks were seen leaving and arriving at the various warehouses in the hub.

The witness says he saw what looked like a man standing down by the creek and believed it was a person trying to relieve themselves and was going to stop and tell them to stop. This is when the witness says he saw two bright red eyes appear as in the creature turned its head. He stated that it appeared as if they were looking at him. He then stated that the entity began to walk away from him, opened up what appeared to be a pair of wings and was gone out of sight within a matter of seconds.

The witness concluded that when it turned and began to move away from him, it looked similar to how a large goose would move and then take flight. When asked follow-up questions, the witness again became very hesitant to answer any more questions and said he did not want to do or say anything that would put his retirement into jeopardy. When I asked if he reported the sighting to his superiors, the witness became agitated and said he was not looking to commit “career suicide.” No further questions were asked as the witness was in an agitated state and the investigator did not want the witness to become upset any further than he already was.

North New Jersey 'Swamp Monster'

“I swear to god this is a real story. I still get the chills re-telling it. This was about 15 years ago (2004) in northern New Jersey. A friend and I were riding our bikes from his house to mine. It was probably 9:30-10 pm in the summer so it was pitch black when we were coming down the road. He only lived four houses down from me so it was only about 1500 ft from his house to mine. In front of my house is a “swamp” as to the legal deed of my parent's house, and across the road on the other side is a “swamp” as well.

We were approx 200 ft from my driveway (right before the swamp begins) and this “thing” came out of the swamp about 50-70 ft in front of us. It was tall, say 6’ at least, long lanky legs, long arms that looked like they could almost touch the ground. I don’t know if it had hair or fur, I wasn’t close enough to it, and the road was basically pitch black except for the light from neighboring houses. It walked on its back legs, and kind of lumbered out of the swamp like it kinda used it front legs sometimes to help run, but definitely a rear, two legged something.

Anyway, this thing comes out of the swamp and goes to the middle of the street, turns to us and makes this weird bloodcurdling scream / growl / hissing...a sound I wish I had on tape because I cannot duplicate it. After it makes this noise it runs across the street into the other swamp / woods. Well my friend and I almost sh*t our pants where we stood, U-turned our bikes and high-tailed it the hell out of there. We took a few minutes to re-coup our thoughts and analyze WTF just happened. After a few minutes we agreed that we both saw the same exact thing but had no idea what just happened. After re-gaining our courage we bolted back down the road to my house.

Since that day I have never seen or heard that thing again. (And for the record we were both 100% sober, too young to being doing drugs or alcohol) We have deer, coyotes, black bear but I’ve seen them all and this was nothing of that sort. The swampy area is probably only a foot or so deep. I told my parents but they just said, “oh, that’s weird” and kinda brushed it off. We didn’t go look for prints. We were young and scared sh*tless. Definitely would have gone back if it happened to me now. It was walking on 2 (legs), but it’s front appendages were very long like it “could” use them to run if it needed to. I wasn’t close enough to get a good look at the head and honesty I was so scared I was kinda frozen in place until it ran off and I came to my senses and we booked it the hell outta there.” DC

Vanished in the Mist

“One time I actually went outside my home around 10:30 pm I remember it was kinda foggy but I wanted to sit out for a bit the outside porch. I remember seeing something move so fast and for a small second I saw a young kid, pale almost blue skin, dark hair, just smile at me as he turned to face me and when I looked as he left the section of my home running or flying... I don't know... I just saw mist left behind and as soon as I looked to see if my eyes played tricks on me, the mist was lifted and he was gone. I was 12/13 it was the most bizarre situation ever and I live in Los Angeles 10 minutes away from Staples Center. Also there were rumors about missing body's in Los Angeles, when I was 8 the found a dead body without any trauma and fully extracted from his blood cells. Punctured wounds on his neck.” SS

Weird: Upright Wolverine or a 3 Foot Tall Werewolf?

“Few years ago while driving a back road in Vermont, at 1:00-2:00 am when we spotted something dark in the headlights. Roughly 50 feet ahead was this solid dark mass. It looked to be waist high at the max, possibly slightly shorter, but the few things we both remember most is its stance. It was so weird and unorthodox in its movements as we crept closer and closer in the car. With high beams illuminating the creature, now it was just 10 feet or less from car, and it was shaped kind of like a dog/wolf. But more then anything my very first word was wolverine! My girl had never seen a wolverine so she had no idea what this thing was but it was doing these weird circles while kind of eye balling us. Even at possibly 80 pounds, its mannerisms were causing us to panic!

We have never seen an animal move like this. Somewhat like a bulldog, thick and wide, very muscular frame, where muscles were visible through the fur. I remember its forearms on its front legs were kinda bowed inward, but the thick part of the leg must have been as big as my upper arm! And it wasn't huge, we're talking 3 feet tall or so probably 3 feet wide. Weight isn't possible because of its weird body. But to me it looked like a 100 lb nasty wolverine with a canine head, all black. It would not leave!

On this dirt road it kept circling out in front of us almost daring us to get out an investigate! I'm in love with the paranormal and I was convinced we were looking at something nobody or very few people have ever seen before. Man, I wish we had a camera! We started beeping at it because at this point we were scared for our lives. Even inside a locked car this thing was giving us bad vibes. Something told us if it wanted to get in, it could.

This whole event lasted 2 minutes. It eventually started to walk off side of road very slowly. As burly and rugged as this thing looked all I remember is how slowly it moved! And it eye-balled and taunted us for the entire 2 minutes. Once we got home I showed her a wolverine and she said, 'That's it!' I ended up talking to a field biologist about this the very next day, he made it well known that it's impossible that it was a wolverine. I said, 'Well, it's either an 80+ pound extremely big burly massive and nasty looking wolverine or it's a werewolf!' He jokingly said it would be more likely to be a werewolf then a wolverine in Vermont.

I still to this day wonder what it was but I am so thankful we were inside the car. Had we been on foot I had this over whelming feeling we would have been slaughtered. Anyways, that's my story.” PA

'Man-Like' Flying Humanoid - Gorki, USSR 1978

I recently received the following intriguing account from my friend and humanoid researcher Albert S. Rosales:

Location: Gorki, Puhovitskiy area, Ryazan region, Russia
Date: April 15-29 1978
Time: 2200-2300

14-year old Valentine Valentinovich Gubsky was vacationing in this settlement and had gone for a walk along with some friends around the countryside. The weather was rainy, and it was foggy. Getting late the boys decided to walk back home and stopped to smoke some cigarettes. Unexpectedly bright flashes of light began to appear around them. At first there were 2 red flashes just in front of the boys. Then one more blue flash behind them and then one more white flash in front of them again. The flashes occurred at an altitude of a man of average height. Not having given special value to the event thinking that they were reflections of distant thunderstorms the boys continued to walk. Right after the last flash the boys heard a monotonous quite sound similar to the sound of a moped motor coming from behind a nearby hill. The boys had the impression that the sound was approaching their location. One of the boys lagged behind and was smoking a cigarette when the others turned around to urge him on when they suddenly saw a shadow, with outlines similar to a human figure at a height of about 20 meters within the fog. Frightened and surprised the boys observed how the humanoid shaped shadow began to approach their location; it then changed slightly its direction of flight and passed to their right. As it approached the witnesses its outlines became sharper and the boys could now see that it was a person with its arms stretched out on its sides, they could not see a motor or flame. The sound seemed to originate from a point somewhere above the figure.

The figure was moving at about 35 mph. The appearance of the flying figure was clearly seen by the witnesses for about 15 seconds. The humanoid was proportionally built and seemed to have been wearing tight-fitting metallic overalls. Matte metal rings with something connecting them were positioned on the humanoid’s elbows where the shoulder incorporates to the forearm and also on the humanoid’s legs around the calves. The figure had approximately 5 rings on the arms and more than five on the legs. The humanoid wore dark colored boots without heels. More things, though smaller, were visible also on the humanoid’s wrists. On its waist hung a large belt filled with numerous devices. One device was shaped like a triangle with its top cut off, color of the belt was the same, but more metallic. On the back of the humanoid the boys noticed something resembling a knapsack, shaped like diver’s oxygen cylinders. On the side of the “knapsack” there was something similar to upside down “air inlets”. The boy’s impression was that the knapsack was somehow mounted on the figure, but they didn’t notice any straps. On each side of the belt the humanoid had something resembling lacing and between the fingers the witness saw what appeared to be membranes. On each side of the belt there appeared to be metal plates the same width as the belt. On the head the humanoid wore a silver-gray helmet and on its face the humanoid had something resembling a “respirator” which appeared to be connected with the helmet, however it did not cover the nose. The humanoid’s face was gray in color with a nose that appeared to be metallic in nature.

Small Sphere On the Ground Blocks Motorist - November 8, 2019 - Fayette County, PA

When people talk about UFO descriptions, they commonly refer to the classic discs, as well as triangular, cigar, and in more recent years, the rectangular shaped objects that continue to be reported. What I also find fascinating are the ongoing encounters with what I have been calling mini-UFOs for many years. I began to investigate these encounters in the late 1960s and these incidents have continued to be reported even recently.

These objects are generally spherical in shape, however there have been elongated and other configurations reported. They are commonly only a few inches to about a foot or two in size. Some are only light sources while others appeared to be transparent or solid or metallic in appearance. Another strange association with these reports that is not commonly known is that there have been cases where a Bigfoot was observed in association with similar small luminous spheres. An incident of this nature occurred near Pittsburgh in May of 2019.

Most interestingly, these objects quite often have approached close to human observers as well near homes and moving vehicles. There have been reports of these smaller objects hovering in front of the windows of these dwellings and even bumping into the windows at times. There have been cases where these objects have entered homes and vehicles through opened windows then moved around the inside before exiting out an open window or other area and were then gone from sight.

More recently, one of my research associates, Jim Brown from Fayette County, PA (www.jimsdestinations.com) received an interesting account of a small sphere that was on the ground and blocking a roadway during the mid-afternoon that day. Here is Jim’s report:

Nov 8, 2019 – Object In the Road

About 4:30 PM I received a call from a nearby witness who is aware I investigate unusual events. A transcript of his narrative follows:

“I was coming home from Masontown on the Bowood Road. As I went over the top of a rise, I saw this ball in the road just sitting there. It was about 2 feet across and was blocking the road. I couldn’t get around it so I stopped

I sat there for a minute then decided to get out and move it so I could continue home. I even thought about taking it home as a oddity. But when I opened the car door it started to just fade away. Not quick. It took a few seconds to vanish. But then it disappeared. It never moved, just faded away. I closed the door and wondered, what the hell was that? After that I just went on home, nothing else to say.”

I asked a few questions and got some additional information. He said the object was silvery gray in color. No details, just a sphere about 2 feet in diameter. He could not recall if there was a shadow under it. (Weather was mostly cloudy but still should have caused a darkening under the object.) He stopped about 50 feet away from the object. Beyond that he had no other details to report. No physical evidence was seen or obtained. A few leading questions provided no additional reliable information. Limited data, no other witnesses present.

Humanoid 'Owl' Seen by Two Witnesses in Hoffman Estates, Illinois

I recently received the following account:

Hello, I am writing to you today in regards to the Mothman/ Human Owl. This is DG and JG. We live at The Reserve in Hoffman Estates in Illinois and our apartment complex is next to an empty corn field and across from Barrington, Illinois there is a forest preserve. My husband and I live on the third floor of the complex as we face another building, but can also see towards the cornfield to our right. We also have lots of trees around our building almost as tall as the building itself.

We would normal go out to our porch every night to smoke a cigarette, and about a month and two weeks ago (late October 2019), we went out at about 9-10 pm. We usually leave our phones inside so we can enjoy some chat and gaze upon at the stars, or even see a pack of coyotes roaming around the streets and apartments, or sometimes even heading back into the field towards the forest (keep in mind this field has no crop so it is empty and you can see towards the street). Well that specific night my husband was to my right and he is taller than me. So I was talking to him taking a puff, when I noticed something in the pine tree(I believe it is pine) behind him. Right at the top of the tree, not in between the branches or nothing - RIGHT AT THE TOP. He noticed I wasn’t paying attention so he turned around to look, and sure enough there was what we thought was a huge owl looking out towards the field then looking back around. So after a couple of seconds, maybe 30 seconds, we started to question each other, “what is that?” “Is that an owl?” This thing was pitch black but its wings and shape were HUGE, as you can see that from the reflection of the sky which was lighter.

I recall continuing to smoke as we tried to examine this creature looking around. Once we had noticed it, I don’t recall ‘it’ ever looking at us. We were already a few minutes outside before I noticed it, so I’m not sure if he ever looked down at us. I was more focused on the body shape though. I could see huge, long black wings. We couldn’t really see any details as it was super dark. My husband was trying to get closer to the edge to get a good look at it but we could really just see the long wings and huge shape.

Well after awhile, we said, ”yeah, it might just be an owl, a pretty big one for sure.” We came inside our complex which is the roof of the building. Normally at night we could hear the animals climbing on the rails and roof, but our roommate, whose room is next to the porch, states he always hears something walking at night by his window or above it. I’m not sure if it’s that creature. The tree is right next to us so he can easily climb onto the building.

We thought nothing of it until we read the article about a semi-truck driver who spotted something similar at O’Hare Airport, which is not far from here. Once we saw that we just stared at each other because we recall what we saw. So we now know WE WEREN’T SEEING THINGS LIKE THIS WAS LEGIT. We sometimes step out for a moment to see if we find it again but so far it's been gone. That’s our story about seeing this unknown flying human owl...
