Pale Emaciated Humanoid Observed On Cabin Roof Near Fairfield Bay, Arkansas

A teen describes a strange encounter with a pale emaciated humanoid while staying in a cabin with his family near Fairfield Bay, Arkansas.

The following was recently forwarded to me:

"Back in 2017, I went on a family vacation to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. We were staying in a raised cabin. A golf course was behind the cabin, which was along the side of a forest.

The first day we were there was great. We went back to the cabin and we got our stuff unpacked. I was staying in the loft above the living room. It had windows above the roof to look out of like a split level roof situation. I turned off the TV and went to bed. No problem.

I woke up in the middle of the night for no reason. I lay on my side so I have a straight shot out the window across from my sister. In that window was this pale emaciated humanoid thing sitting on the lower roof. I froze in fear willing myself not to move in fear that this thing would try to get in. It cupped its hands around its face like people do trying to see out a window into the dark. It sat there and just watched for a minute that felt like an eternity until the thing turned and crawled on all fours down the side of the cabin presumably back to the woods. I sat there still frozen for another minute or two just to be sure this thing was gone.

The only thing keeping me from running to my parents room was that the entire living room was lined with curtainless windows and the thing just crawled down that way. I had to turn the TV on to get back to bed that night.

The thing was about child size and I am positive an adult would have problems scaling that cabin. I had just enough light to see its form and what it was doing. It was really skinny almost all bones. It was doing that kind of crouch thing where people kind of sit on their feet. 

You can imagine how sleeping in that cabin felt for the other five days. I couldn't sleep in my parents room because they didn't believe me. They said It was just a bad dream. but it wasn't because the TV was still on when I woke up. I had to sleep up there for the rest of the trip, waking up at around the same time every night, then having to turn on the TV just to get back to sleep.

I carried the fear of this thing for years thinking I would see it in my basement window or down the street from me when taking out the trash at night. Watching shows with things that look like that thing almost put me to tears and I don't scare easily. After reading other accounts online, I don't feel as much of that fear now but it still there always at the back of my mind.

'Werewolf' Feeding On Deer Along Apalachicola National Forest, Florida Highway

A family from the west coast was driving through Florida's Apalachicola National Forest at night, when they spot blood on the highway and a 'werewolf' hunched over and feeding on a deer.

The following account was sent to me:

"I was traveling Hwy 10 from the California on the west coast to south Florida. I was with my six kids and pulling a trailer with all my belongings and three dogs. I was in a big SUV .It was around 2:00 am.

The kids were all asleep and my daughter, about 13 yrs old, was in the passenger seat to make sure I stayed awake. So after traveling Hwy 10 for 3 days. I had decided since we reached Florida we would cut through the state to save some time. So we got off Hwy 10 on an off road in hopes of getting gas and making some time. It was along Rt 27 in Apalachicola National Forest.

We came to the first little gas station that we found. It was closed. I was nervous because we needed gas and were running on fumes. So we continued on. I told my daughter to keep an eye out for deer crossing the two lane deserted highway. Because hitting a deer could kill us all and turn us over due to the tailor we were pulling. We were traveling around 45 miles and hour. I remember this so clearly like it was yesterday...but It was 5 yrs ago.

We had our brights on because the road was dark and winding. A few houses, but far between. As we came around the corner, in the headlights on the road was a lot of blood. Very fresh blood. And on the side of the road was this six or seven foot tall creature on its hind legs hunched over a dead deer and eating it. It did not look up. Not even when my headlights hit it. It was using its arms like a human eating the deer. It had a very muscular body pointing ears. Also a long muzzle. If you ever saw a werewolf this was it. Skinny lower torso, wide chest but used arms and hands just like a human. If it looked up I would have died. I looked over at my daughter. We were both seeing the same thing at the same time. Tears came to my eyes instantly and at the same time we both said "werewolf."

I sped up, I was scared it would run towards us and jump on my trailer. As we got about a mile away my heart was still beating so hard. My daughter and I were so freaked out. It WAS a werewolf! I have never been a believer in a werewolf. I don't watch movies or have any reason to make this up. And as a matter of fact until today, I have only told a handful of people. There is a werewolf in Florida." WW

Black Eyed Kid Creeps Out Witness in Cape Town, South Africa

A young American is in South Africa training for the Peace Corps. He notices 2 small boys next door, then later realizes that one of the kids has black eyes.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

This happened in 2011 when I was in training for Peace Corps service in Cape Town, South Africa.

Most houses here have bars on the doors and windows and are surrounded by gates and fences. The village that I trained in was large and sprawling. My host family was wealthier than most, and while the house was really nice most of the neighbors had much simpler dwellings and tin shacks. Our fence was tall and stable with a thick wall of a gate and some of the neighboring fences were small barbed wire.

The training schedule was packed and I was usually gone all day everyday. When I got home in the afternoons I would often play with some neighborhood kids. Sundays were my only day off.

One particular Sunday, towards the end of training, I was home alone. I was outside hanging laundry and noticed two small boys, about 7-8 or so, in the next yard staring at me. I’m white, and I am used to this reaction. I had never seen these kids before. I smiled at them and continued to hang my laundry. They continued to play and to stare at me. My unease with these kids was growing, and I thought it was because I was annoyed with being stared at. The longer they watched me the more creeped out I felt.

I looked up to notice that they were gone. I quickly went inside and locked the door (the gate was already locked and there is a tall fence surrounding the property). I looked out the window of my bedroom a few minutes later to see one of the kids scaling the fence. I thought about going out there to say something but felt compelled to stay inside and ignore them.

The next time I looked the kid had just landed in the yard and somehow he saw me through the sliver of window I was peering out of and made eye contact. Then I noticed that this kid had eyes that were solid black! I felt like he was reaching into me and grabbing my insides! The kid prowled around the windows and door for a while.

I don't know what happened to the other kid, but by that time I was totally creeped out.

I moved to my permanent site shortly thereafter." A

Grayish/Silver Bigfoot Encountered Near Blue Mountain Lake in Adirondack Park, NY

A New York state hiker is in Adirondack Park when he encounters a broad grayish/silver Bigfoot that broke cover in front of him. It ducked in and out of the brush several times.

I recently received the following account from the witness:

"On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend 2017, I believe it was May 28th, I was hiking alone on the Tirrell Pond Trail near Blue Mountain Lake, Hamilton County in the Adirondack Park in New York state. I was about 1½ to 2 miles down the trail when I got to the edge of a clear cut. The State had an easement for the trail through private land and the owner had been conducting logging operations for a few weeks. One second you’re hiking in a forest and the next you're standing on the edge of a vast area that looks like it has been heavily bombed.

As I stood there, taking a drink of water from my hydration backpack, a large grayish/silver Bigfoot broke cover from a clump of small trees, brush and debris on a small rise. It was at my 1 o’clock position approximately 80 yards away. I saw it take 3 or 4 strides before it was back behind cover. I was in stunned disbelief. I immediately tried to rationalize what I just saw.

A few seconds later it then broke cover again, this time at my 2 o’clock position a little further up the slope. It took 5 or 6 strides before it was behind another mass of debris. I waited a few minutes to see if it would continue up the mountain, but there was no sign of it. I worked up the courage to walk down the trail to look around the other side of the rise that if was walking on. I did not see any movement or hear anything. I kept thinking that if it’s walking through that debris it’s got to be making noise, there was just no way to take a step without landing on a branch and snapping it.

I quickly decided the reason that I didn’t hear or see it, was because it was hiding and watching me. This thought made me uncomfortable and I quickly returned to the edge of the clear cut. I contemplated continuing the hike, or about 10 seconds, and then decided that since I was alone and without any protection, I would head back. I never felt threatened but I was pretty shaken up.

I was about ¼ mile back down the trail when I heard a wood knock. It was about 5 or 6 knocks in quick succession that came from behind me at my 7 o’clock position. I told myself that it was a woodpecker, but part of me thought it was too slow of a cadence to be one of them. I started checking behind me after that and stopping abruptly, to see if I could hear anything moving. I continued on the trail and about another ½ mile or so, I heard the same knock sequence, but this time it was closer and now almost at my 9 o’clock position. I just kept walking and telling myself it was a woodpecker ,and it may very well have been. The rest of the hike out was uneventful.

It was hard for me to judge it’s height, but I would say 6½ to 7½ feet. It width was what impressed me. It was easily 2x as wide, if not more than an average person. It was powerfully built. Silver/gray in color with the exception of a tan/brownish color around parts of the face and on the side of the head where I presume, since I was too far away to see them, the ears would be. It walked slightly hunched forward. Its arms swung close to the knees. It’s head was low on it’s broad shoulders. It moved very quickly while showing no effort in doing so. What I saw bore a striking resemblance to the creature in the Patterson-Gimlin film.

I started hiking 6 years ago and I’ve been on almost 90 hikes, mostly in the Adirondacks and a few times in the Catskills and Vermont. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t think about this encounter. I usually post about my hikes and I would sometimes joke “no sign of Bigfoot today,” but I don’t joke about it anymore." SS

Possible Canine Cryptid Stalks Men in North Yorkshire Moors

2 friends were walking through the North Yorkshire Moors when the experiences a feeling a apprehension after hearing canine-like growling and twigs snapping.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

"Back in autumn 2014, an eyewitness (who has asked to remain anonymous) believes that he and his friend, who had joined him for a woodland walk, had been the victims from a possible dogman encounter. They were travelling through a large forest valley in the North Yorkshire Moors very near to the Deep Gill Woods when their experience happened on that day. It was an experience they have never had before.

They had been walking around the peaks and woods for a few hours, having no problems. As they traveled onto a different peek, with a very large forest surrounding them, they suddenly got a strange and eerie feeling. They had only entered that area for maybe an hour before things didn't feel right to them. "Sounds crazy but it just felt creepy," the witness said.

They never saw anything but this creature was there watching them. They could feel it's eyes on them. It stalked them/followed them, as they moved they would hear twigs break in the background. The sounds this creature made were sounds that the friends had never heard before. They had been to that forest for a couple of years now and they have never seen, heard anything like that before. The witness has told me since the experience that fellow people have either shrugged it off as them messing around or being delusional. When it drove them out of the woods it was around half past 5 or possibly 6pm, they knew they were losing light fast.

They had heard a eerie howl/growl several hours before on top of a peek but never gave it much notice as it was so far away. When they heard it again a second time, it sounded like it got closer to them (possibly 50 - 60 yards away) and they felt the sound as if it went straight through them.The howl/growl for them resembled the 'American Werewolf in London' film (high pitched) but then a rumbling at the end. Pure fear, like frozen! The witness's brain was panicking, his body felt like it wasn't going to move. Then you could hear it walking along breaking branches and twigs as it went by, hitting and pushing by/through trees and bushes.

He and his friend both got the impression that whatever it was it wanted them gone ASAP and it was making sure they didn't take long getting out of the woods.They started to make their way out of the forest not knowing what could make noises like that, then all they could hear was it moving along with them/following them, snapping and breaking branches, twigs and bashing things around. His friend was scared as was he so they picked up their pace and ran all the way to their car.

After that whole incident the eyewitness researched on what it could have possibly been, the weird dog-like howl, which make him believe that it might have been a dogman, plus the growl too. Sounded too canine to the witness. He has looked into both subjects of Bigfoot & Dogman, researching them all he can but he doesn't believe that it was a Bigfoot. It still freaks him and his friend out until this day. Before all this he thought they were just stories and myths.

One further note he was able to make. He tried talking to local people around the area about what happened but the nearest bit of info he got was that supposedly 20 years ago something was shot dead, but during this time nobody would say what it was. Both witnesses found it strange that this story got covered up.

NOTE: This sighting took place just south of one of the first sightings I looked into, near Osmotherley. The biggest wildlife that roams the North Yorkshire Moors National Park seems to be deer and cattle/game animals. Farmers in the nearby areas seem to have some of their cattle go missing, yet to them it is like no big deal. The eyewitnesses went on to talk to farmers about their missing cattle, though this seemed to anger and annoy the farmers which suggests maybe the farmers know more than they are letting on." PP

Black Upright Canine Roams University Grounds Near Sofia, Bulgaria

A university student in Bulgaria has seen a black upright canine roaming around his dormitory building at night. He's a veterinarian major, and could not identify the creature.

The following account was recently referred to me:

"I'm a guy in my 20s. I'm quite tall 193 cm (6'4") and train kickboxing. My career choice is quite physically straining because I'm a vet student. There isn't much that scares me and I'm usually an intimidating dude. My university is on top of a hill and outside of the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. From my dorm window (on the 7th floor), I can see huge wheat fields and the nearby forest.

My first encounter was last year in late summer 2019. I have a German Shepherd (Hades) and a Husky pup (Ragnar). That day I left university quite late. It was already dark outside. Usually, I don't mind taking them out at night. At night I can let them run without their leashes. They are trained and I know they are going to listen to me. Besides, I knew everyone knew them and wouldn't hurt them even if they were left outside. They have collars that light up since Hades is fully black and Ragnar is fully white which makes it hard to see him during the winter. I could see them all the time. We walked for a while and they were playing and running around.

At some point, Hades stopped and started growling looking into the wheat fields down the hill. I didn't think about it. There are bats, owls and other critters around us. I leashed them not wanting to run after them if they decided to chase something. After half an hour of nonstop growling, I had enough of it and decided to take Hades home and go out so Ragnar can run a bit more. I got home and expected him to go in his cage. He likes sleeping there and I never lock them. That night though all he did was stand on the window looking out. Since the pup was whining wanting to go out again I tried to drag Hades in the cage and lock him in until I got back. Who knew, maybe he might try going out the window. I got a look out the window. On the parking below I saw a black figure circling the cars.

Thinking that it might be someone trying to steal something, I got a flashlight and shone at it. It wasn't a thief. It wasn't human at all. It looked up, it's eyes reflecting the light from the flashlight. It was black its head looking very similar to Hades'. It was standing on all fours but when I shone the light it stood up. The roofs of the cars were barely reaching its midsection. It let out a growl (which I later learned that many of the tenants have heard). Hades went wild trying to bust out of the cage. Ragnar was whining even louder. I realised he didn't want to go out he was trying to get as far away from the window as possible. The growl made me flinch and I dropped the flashlight through the window. I tried to see it again but it was too dark. I heard the crunching of snow as it left.

The next morning I went to find my flashlight and found huge doglike footprints in the snow and a foul smell still lingering. I borrowed infrared binoculars from a hunter friend of mine. Ever since then I have seen it 4 times in the forest twice crossing the field and once come near the hill looking up. I and my roommate have been taking turns keeping watch at night when Hades starts growling. I don't take the dogs out at night and Ragnar doesn't play and run around anymore. He just stays pressed against my feet. I hope he grows out of it." W

Dr. Igor I. Sikorsky (1889-1972), Russian-American aviation pioneer designer of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, who believed anti-gravity space vehicles would one day become a reality.

“Deep and Real Mystery”

Dr. Igor I. Sikorsky, one of the world’s most outstanding airplane and helicopter designers in the mid-1950s, took a somewhat more conservative attitude toward the anti-gravity research then being conducted in corporate and government circles.  While he did believe that sometime before the year 1980, humankind would be flying around in vehicles beyond the Earth’s atmosphere, he wasn’t sure that the immense trans-spatial force of gravity, being so “real, tangible and formidable,” could easily be overcome without some physical carrier.  Dr. Sikorsky pointed out to Ansel E. Talbert, the Military and Aviation Editor of the New York Herald Tribune, in an article in its 22 November 1955 European edition, that electricity and light, once equally mysterious, now have become “loyal, obedient servants of man, appearing or disappearing at his command and performing at his will a virtually countless variety of services.”  However, as far as gravitation was concerned, Dr. Sikorsky noted that the more scientists attempted to visualize the unknown agent that transmits it, “the more we recognize we are facing a deep and real mystery.”

Dr. Sikorsky felt that the subject of gravity required intensive scientific research.  Up through 1955, all known gravity research conducted in the United States had been financed out of the private funds of individuals and corporations.  Leaders of the nation’s armed forces had bee briefed by scientists from many fields about the theoretical chances of conquering gravity, but their public comments were something akin to, “Call us when you get some hardware that works.”

“Who Ya Gonna Call?”

Dudley Clarke, president of Clarke Electronics Laboratories of Palm Springs, California, which was then one of the nation’s oldest and prestigious firms devoted to electronics research and experimentation, was actually just such a scientist already at the “hardware stage” of building an anti-gravity device at the time Dr. Sikorsky was expressing his skeptical comments.  An article that appeared in the Teletech and Electronics Industry magazine, New York, New York, earlier in 1955, noted that Clarke’s company created quite a stir in the industry when one of its spokespersons announced that their scientists had succeeded in “developing pressure-sensitive resistors having unusual characteristics for parachute and other aviation use.”  Clarke apprenticed years ago under Dr. Charles Steinmetz, the General Electric Company’s electrical and mathematical wizard of the 1920s.  Based on what he learned from Steinmetz, Clarke was sure that, “The successful harnessing of gravitation will take place sooner than some ‘ivory tower’ scientists believe.”

Overcoming Doubters

Dudley Clarke pointed out that back in 1935, Sir Frank Whittle, the British jet pioneer, was informed by the United Kingdom’s Air Ministry that it could see “no practical value” for his jet aircraft engine.  Clarke then told the Herald Tribune’s Aviation Editor that, “I have a particularly cherished letter.  It was written about the same time by the commanding general at Wright Field (Dayton, Ohio) giving a similar analysis of a jet design proposed by me.”

Clearly, one of the main issues that Clarke and others faced with the whole issue of developing anti-gravity devices was overcoming all the doubters out there, especially those entrenched in high places.  Clarke noted that, “The force of gravity is powerful enough to generate many thousand times more electricity than is now generated by Niagara Falls and every other water-power center in the world- if it can be harnessed.  This impending event will make possible the manufacture of anti-gravity ‘power packages’ which can be bought for a few hundred dollars.  These would provide all of the heat and power needed by one family for an indefinite period.”

Coral and Jim Lorenzen converted their Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, home into international headquarters of the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO) during the period 1952-1955.  This photo was taken in 1955, one year before the Lorenzens moved to Tucson, Arizona, where they continued with APRO and their UFO research.

Ufologists Postulate Anti-Gravity Assist 

Coral Lorenzen of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, was one of the pioneer ufologists and the founder of the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO) in 1952.  Lorenzen believed strongly in the reality of a crashed flying saucer at Aztec, New Mexico, that was retrieved and covered up by the government, as described in Hollywood reporter Frank Scully’s classic, Behind the Flying Saucers (New York, New York:  Henry Holt and Company, Inc., 1950).  On the veracity of Scully and his book, Lorenzen noted in her groundbreaking book, Flying Saucer Occupants (New York, New York:  Signet Books, 1967), that, “Although generally rejected by most researchers in the early years, subsequent incidents (UFO crashes, landings and occupant reports) seem to indicate that Scully was either telling the truth or that he was a prophet.”

In 1950’s best-selling Behind the Flying Saucers, Hollywood columnist Frank Scully delves into the advanced propulsion system of an alien spaceship recovered from the 25 March 1948 crash site.  

According to Frank Scully, an analysis of the crashed saucer at Aztec, New Mexico, revealed that its propulsion system was based on the harnessing of electromagnetic forces, much as Nikola Tesla predicted that future aircraft would surely incorporate into their designs.  During World War II, it seems that both Allied and Axis scientists had already begun to make huge strides in this area.  Of this, Scully surmised that any blank spaces left in the development phases of an electromagnetic propulsion system were going to be filled in by the back-engineering of crashed disks.  In Chapter 2 of Behind the Flying Saucers, Scully quotes Silas M. Newton, the president of a Colorado oil company privy to classified information on the Aztec saucer debris, as declaring during a lecture at the University of Denver, Colorado, on 8 March 1950, that “They (the scientists) had come to the conclusion that everything existing owed its shape and being to magnetic lines of force.  There are 1,257 such magnetic lines of force to the square centimeter.  That is to say, about a half inch.”

Newton was further quoted as saying that, “Much of the magic, which has baffled both trained and untrained observers, is not magic at all.  A good deal of what is claimed to have happened to ships in the air, such as disintegration, suspension for a period of time, immobilization of their instrument boards, and such, can be duplicated in the laboratory.”  And of Captain Thomas F. Mantell of the Kentucky National Guard, who died on 7 January 1948 at the young age of 25 when his P-51 Mustang trainer plane crashed as a result of pursuing a UFO, Newton told the student body at the University of Denver that, “Mantell’s plane and every portion of his plane from the motor to the tips of the wings hung together by reason of magnetic frequency.  This was true of even Mantell himself.  Therefore, all that a flying saucer had to do to disintegrate Mantell’s plane was to demagnetize it.”

In discussing the technical aspects of a flying saucer such as the one described by Scully and Newton, Coral Lorenzen wrote in Flying Saucer Occupants that, “The proponents of the anti-gravity idea propose that some system is utilized by the UFOs which is able to nullify the gravitational field of the Earth and produce its own gravitational field which it carries with it- a field within a field, so to speak.  This theory, however, appears to take care of only half the problem.  We have no basis for the assumption that eliminating the weight of an object eliminates its inertia….”

“To say that we do not know how to accomplish a particular effect is not the same as saying that it cannot be done,” added the APRO director, adding that, “To say either that such a thing is ultimately impossible or that such a thing is ultimately possible requires that one drop the mantle of the scientist and don that of the fortune teller.  

“Circumstantial evidence in the form of UFO reports, however, advocates slightly the assumption of the idea that we are dealing with possibilities,” she noted, specifically keeping in mind, “the most mystifying aspects of UFO reports from the standpoint of contemporary physical science…. The repetitive appearance of descriptions of right-angle turns and (less often) accounts of UFOs that disappear abruptly.”

Red Eyes in the Woods: Is It The Jersey Devil?

A south New Jersey resident talks about the strange phenomena present around his property, including the possible existence of the Jersey Devil.

The following account was posted as a response to a possibly Bigfoot in south New Jersey:

I’ve been in south Jersey my whole life, born and raised. I live about 20 minutes from Galloway/the Pine Barrens. Also 20 minutes from Leeds Point, aka the birthplace of the Jersey Devil. I live just about 20 minutes from the trail that leads to the old Leeds house, birthplace of the Jersey Devil.

My backyard is all woods. Not the Pine Barrens but I do live in a wooded area. I’ve seen and heard plenty creepy things in my 29 years of living here. Encountered a few cryptids, not face to face. My Ring doorbell at the time caught something on camera. One time it did in fact look like the Jersey Devil, the another time it looked like a Crawler, crawling out from under my pool deck.

I’ve heard unnatural sounds come from the woods. Like a sound that a human or animal can’t make. Or a sound that doesn’t belong. Like a pig squealing. Trust me, no wild pigs here in south Jersey unless they’re on a farm and I don’t live near a farm. My dad has heard screeching coming from the woods while out in the middle of the night tending to the pool. Now my dad is a no nonsense, retired Army veteran who doesn’t believe in the paranormal. 

This past summer that all changed when he heard something “ungodly” in the woods. Plus he saw what I caught on the Ring so he is no a believer that something is out there.

I’ve found hoof prints in the snow, not regular deer hoof prints. Hoof prints that were walking as if the “deer” were bipedal, and with a huge stride. Like a couple feet apart. I’d follow them and they’d just disappear into the woods or as if it just flew away. When I was a teenager, at one of our family parties my cousins and I were in the pool and we all saw red eyes watching us from the woods. My one cousin and I were in the jacuzzi (different time) and again saw the red eyes. Never ran so fast into my house in my life.

Anyway I could go on. I’ve had plenty experiences. The plus side to all this is that whatever it is out there, doesn’t seem to bother us. I do believe in the Jersey Devil, and all things paranormal. I believe I’ve encountered him a few times, seen his hoof prints and maybe even caught him on my ring. I always say I don’t really mind he’s out there. Because if he really is and that’s what I’ve seen, he doesn’t ever bother us or me.

That goes for anything that may be out there (that isn’t an animal). Sure we hear things and catch glimpses of things or see eyes watching us, but it never escalates further (knock on wood). CW

Upright Cryptid Canine Pack Chase Vehicle Near Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

A Zimbabwean father and son are changing a tire at night near the Hwange National Park. The soon realize they are not alone and eventually chased by a pack of cryptid canines.

The following account was recently told to an associate in South Africa:

"The encounter I'm going tell happened near Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe last year while a father and son where on their way to Bulawayo late at night. The son was driving as he had recently got his driving licence. They where coming from a housing project the father had won the contract where they where surveying the land. Naturally they were excited for the project, so the mood was extremely good.

As they were traveling along there was a loud pop and the car suddenly swerved to the side of the road. It was a blown tire. Luckily no one was hurt and the car wasn't too badly damaged. Where they had stopped was the middle of nowhere and seemed to be unnaturally silent. \

They set about to change the tire feeling nervous for some reason. That good feeling had gone away. They had left the headlights of the car on so as to have some light. With the light that was there they could see shadows moving around them and the car They started hearing heavy deep growling. The father kept his cool for his son's sake as he started freaking out "just keep working on changing that tire" said the father and he frantically finished.

They got in the car they saw 4 pairs of goldish yellow eyes just by the edge of the darkness. The son floored the accelerator and they sped off, but to their horror those eyes started following them matching their speed. One of the creatures ran past the car only to reveal something they never thought possible. It was running on all 4 legs moving unlike anything they've ever seen. It looked at them and they saw the head of a wild dog but with large fangs. It was built like a lean fit basketball player with well defined muscles.

They realized in that instant that they are being hunted. He pressed the accelerator to the end praying and hoping that the car was fast enough to lose them. As the car passed the creature it suddenly and fluidly stood up to reveal that it was 7 foot tall and had hands-like claws. It reached out for the car before the car accelerated away from them.

As soon as they knew they were somewhat safe the father broke down and cried. It was a mixture of relief and shock." CC
