Tall Upright Wolf-Like Creature Encountered In Sinaloa, Mexico Balsas Forest

A Mexican teen boy and his friend are deep into the Balsas forest in Sinaloa one night when they encounter an upright wolf-like creature. They climb a large tree and stay there until morning.

The following account was referred to me by a reader:

"My encounter happened when I was a teen, around 2005. I lived in a small village not too far from where my encounter happened in the Balsas forest in Sinaloa, Mexico. I did not tell anyone until years later.

My friend and I were quite the trouble makers, I will not lie, and we decided to go off on our own. We went to Balsas forest and we did not go to camp, but we messed around and played until dark began to come. I was never fearful of the dark. It never gave me fear.

So as dark began to fall upon us we were fine and it was not unusual for me to just wonder off and go to my friends with out telling me mum. Like I said, I was pretty bad back then, and I never listened to my mother anyway. Now the forest was hot and humid so we had no shirts on. We took them off and casually hung them around our shoulders. We wore shorts and sandals. I was actually tormenting a snake with a stick while my friend laughed at me. The dark came yet the whole moon shone bright down through the trees so it was ok we could still see. We put our shirts on as it gets colder at night.

We were getting ready to leave and I thought I knew everything back then. I was very wrong. We heard footsteps off in front of us somewhere but they were so heavy, not really like human, yet clearly two footed steps. We were more interested in seeing what it was and my friend suggest we hide in the foliage to scare whatever it was, a person or an animal. We just wanted fun. We got in the foliage and giggled to each other and watched, waiting.

The thuds became louder and it came out into the opening so fast like a raging bull. It was not a bull. Now we are terrified. This beast was around 7 foot tall, maybe more. It was black and grey, like silver in places. Its fur was matted and horrible with a smell like I have never smelled again. I can not describe that smell but it made you wretch. The ears were pointed. We never said a word to each other as we stared at it sniffing the air like a wolf on the scent of its prey. You could see defined body muscles and arms. Yes, arms and hands with very long unusual fingers with claws. It had a very long snout. You could see it had fang-like teeth, dog-like in many ways but much too big. It had backwards bent back legs and the strangest feet I have ever seen elongated with three toes huge toes. It looked so strange.

It then suddenly snapped its head towards us and stared with intent of evil. You could tell. Its eyes were amber and slanted looking. We just ran. We did not know what else to do. We made a big mistake because it was now too dark to see clearly and in all the panic we thought we were lost and we just went to nearest large tree and climbed as far up as we could. We sat there in the dark listening to thudding steps through the forest. We stayed huddled in that tree all night, waiting to be eaten or killed. It never came.

The next thing I remember, it was morning. You don't know fear like that, praying in a tree for your life, cold and terrified. Being in danger from falling from the tree did not matter. That thing did matter. When the morning came, we knew we are way back deep into the forest. Funny how fear can change your perception.

When I got home my mum scolded, shouted and went on so long about where had I been. I had never been shouted at like that before. I never told anyone. My friend and I never did until later. My mum thought her shouted changed me, but no, that thing changed me and I did not stray again. Now I live in London, England, but it will stay with me forever." CH

Unsolved Disappearance: Christopher Thompkins - Ellerslie, Georgia

I saw a recent posting about the unsolved disappearance of Christopher Thompkins. There have been various posts and articles that have referenced this incident over the years. Many of my readers seem to be interested in these types of cases, so here is the information:

On January 25, 2002 Christopher Thompkins went to work. At 20 years old, Christopher was said to have been a fairly religious man, well-liked and generally a happy guy. He lived with his mom in west central Georgia.

At 8:00 am, he left his home, headed to his survey company job. He parked his car near the office, and rode with a co-worker to the job site in Ellerslie, GA. There were 4 men working on the crew that day. They were working in a line formation, each man about 50 feet apart from the next.

They broke for lunch around noon, and quickly were back to work on the line. Around 1:00 pm, one of the co-workers (none of them were named) was talking with Christopher. When he turned his head to complete a task, he continued to talk to Chris. When he had no response after a minute, he looked back and saw no sign of Chris. At first he though maybe he stepped away to use the toilet in the woods, but he called out several times with no answer. Finally, he summoned the other guys and they walked down to look for him.

When they arrived at his work area, they found all his tools lying around. Further investigation uncovered one of Christopher's boots hanging off the top of a nearby barbed wire fence. After not seeing Christopher anywhere, they called 911 to report him missing.

A few facts:

The police refused to search until 24 hours has passed since Christopher was legally an adult.

Christopher's mom also worked for the the survey company owner as his babysitter. She was upset that she wasn't notified of Christopher's disappearance until after 4:00, when it was just after 1:00 pm they had called 911.

The police search the next day uncovered a piece of fabric torn from Christopher's work pants and 12 cents nearby.

The media did not take up on this case well & the family had to fight for exposure.

The co-workers were never named a suspect, although 2 had criminal pasts and one would go to prison shortly after for another violent crime. One also retained a lawyer the week after Christopher went missing.

The police publicly stated that Chris likely just walked off to start a new life.

Christopher's mother believes foul play was involved & likely by the co-workers.

Five months after Christopher Thompkins disappeared a local farmer found his other boot in a swampy part of his land. This was about 900 yards from where he disappeared.

Theories:

He left on his own. But why leave a boot hanging on the fence & how did he get away so quickly without notice?

The co-workers were involved in something.

A wild animal grabbed him. But...why no noise, tracks, blood, etc.?

Theories on the internet:

Bigfoot.

Alien Abduction

He fell into a portal.

Man Shapeshifts Into Dog-Like Entity Near Granada, Nicaragua

A Nicaraguan youth, who is in Granada on a school trip, encounters a man shapeshifting into a dog-like entity.

The following account was forwarded to me by a reader:

"This encounter happened in May 1989. We went on a school trip visiting the ruins of an old Sandinistas outpost that was politically historic, located by the town called Granada in Nicaragua.

We were 27 kids all together, and had special permission from our parents to go there. I happened to notice that there were houses by the place where the historical site was. They were on the hills of a mountain, where I stupidly had gone to investigate. The houses were old and made of wood. They were about 60 yards from the historical site.

As I came by the first house an elderly man came and ask me why I wasn't with my group. I told him; “Why do you care?” He responded in an angry tone, “Because there are things out here that will take you!” Our country is wild but only if you travel in the mountains, rivers, lakes or by the sea, so I paid no mind to his warning.

It was around 5:30pm and I was about 100 yards from the historical site. As soon as the teacher blew her whistle we were to regroup at the bus in order to leave. I was sitting next to the tree line eating a sandwich, when behind me I heard a distinct noise. It was a growling sound that literally shook all of my nerves. I immediately turned back to see if anything was coming my way.

Suddenly I heard the teachers whistle. I figured I had a good 2 or 3 minutes to get up the tree and see if I could spot anything so I did. What I saw crawling on the forest floor did not make any sense at all.

It was a man lying on the ground, about 80 or 100 feet in the wood line. His body was jerking as if in extreme pain. I saw that his back looked sweaty, and as he jerked he turned his face towards me and I could see his eyes were red and his nose was literally turning black and elongated!

I quickly climbed down the tree, grabbed my backpack and left, running to the bus. Apparently I was the last to return. As the bus started to drive off I said a prayer to protect me from this monster that roams the land.

I asked my grandpa the next day about this things that I had seen. He grew up there and was a native from our country, and his dad had been a coffee farmer which is one of the things my country still trades to the US. He explained that the locals had a curfew and that they never went out unarmed to pick the coffee because of these things. They had suspected they were both animals and humans, and practiced devil worshipping, and traded their souls in order to shape shift into many animal forms, such as the great Wolf spirit.

I have to tell you that when we made our life in the US I had thought I had left the monsters behind me, but as it turns out I was wrong. I am in Austin TX, and have been here since 1996. I encourage people I know to not go out into the woods alone, and do not wear bright colors. At least go armed with a gun or a bear pepper spray, because I do believe I was lucky, but I will not tempt fate again." Name withheld

The Dwayyo: Maryland's Cryptid Canine

In light of the Pennsylvania upright canine / dogman encounters and incidents that our group Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research has been investigating since 2014, there is a legendary bi-pedal canine supposedly roaming the rolling uplands and mountains of neighboring Maryland. This post includes a few reports & updates I've collected over the years.

Back in May of 2011 I posted a narrative describing the Snallygaster, legendary beast from my neck of the woods in Maryland. Another cryptid from this region is the Dwayyo. Not as well known as the Snallygaster, but just as terrifying to those who have encountered the creature.

In the late 18th century, the Pennsylvania Dutch started to settle on the other side of the Mason-Dixon Line in Carroll, Frederick & Washington Counties. Not long after setting down their new roots, tales of the Hexenwolf started to circulate. The description of this beast was similar to the Dwayyo...'a mammalian biped with features similar to a wolf, but the stance and stature of a human.' These farmers raised livestock for food and revenue, so it was important that their domestic animals be protected from the beast. Decorative five-pointed 'barn stars' may mean numerous things, such as a builder's mark or bringing luck, but I have been told that the real reason for these stars was the belief it was a talisman against baneful spirits or other dark entities...in particular, the Hexenwolf and Snallygaster. There is no reference as to the success of the 'barn stars'...but sometimes a bit of non-conventional intervention can go a long way in making someone feel more safe.

The first literary mention of the name ‘Dwayyo’ or 'Dewayo' officially known as Dwayosapientherapsida Australopithecus Rexus, comes from a sighting in 1944 in West Middleton, Frederick County, Maryland. Witnesses heard the creature make ‘frightful screams’ and there were footprints attesting to the claims of the sighting. I posted a first-person account of an encounter in Middletown, MD (Frederick County) in the early 1960's.

The creature then came to prominence after a story ran in the Fredrick News Post in November of 1965. Reporter George May wrote in the article, “Mysterious Dwayyo Loose in County” that a young man, named anonymously as ‘John Becker’ heard a strange noise in his backyard which was situated on the outskirts of Gambrill State Park. Upon going out to investigate the noise he initially saw nothing, so he headed back in. It was then that he caught site of the creature. Something was moving toward him in the dark, Becker was quoted that “It was as big as a bear, had long black hair, a bushy tail, and growled like a wolf or dog in anger.” The thing quickly moved toward him on its hind legs and began to attack him. He fought off the creature and drove it back into the woods, later calling police to report the incident.

The Frederick newspapers also reported other sightings. Several hunters saw a strange black beast roaming the woods. An Ellerton woman reported that residents of that area had heard something cry like a baby and scream like a woman for several months. A Jefferson woman said that she saw a strange dog-shaped animal about the size of a calf chasing some cows on a farm near her home.

An Adamstown, Maryland woman called the paper and insisted that "this trash about the Dwayyo be stopped." She said her daughter was being treated for a nervous condition because of all this talk about the Dwayyo.

In the summer of 1966, the creature was again sighted on the outskirts of Gambrill State Park. A man only referred to as ‘Jim A.’ encountered the Dwayyo as he was heading toward a camp site. It was described as a shaggy two legged creature the size of a deer that had a triangle shaped head with pointed ears and chin. It was dark brown in color and when approached it made a horrid scream and backed away from the man. Jim described it as having an odd walk as it retreated, it’s legs, “stuck out from the side of the trunk of the body making its movements appear almost spider-like as it backed away”.

In the Fall of 1976 another sighting of the Dwayyo took place in Fredrick County near Thurmont, between Cunningham Falls State Park and Catoctin Mountain National Park. Two men drove off route 77 and unto a private road so they could ‘spot deer’ by their headlights in order to see how thick the native population had become before deer season. To their surprise, they did not catch a deer in their lights but instead a large animal ran across the front of their car. They described the creature as, “at least 6 ft tall but inclined forward since it was moving quickly. Its head was fairly large and similar to the profile of a wolf. The body was covered in brown or brindle colored fur but the lower half had a striped pattern of noticeable darker and lighter banding. The forelegs (or arms) were slimmer and held out in front as it moved. The back legs were very muscled and thick similar to perhaps a kangaroo. This was not a hominid type creature; it did not have the characteristics of an ape. It was much more similar to a wolf or ferocious dog however it was definitely moving upright and appeared to be adapted for that type of mobility. I was particularly impressed by the size and strength of the back legs, the stripes on the lower half of the body and the canine-wolf-like head.” - from The Michigan Dogman: Werewolves and Other Unknown Canines Across the U.S.A. Later in 1978 two park rangers were near the Cunningham Falls area when they encountered “a large hairy creature running on two legs”.

Paranormalist Robin Swope relates an anecdote from a witness who says she was driving on Coxey Brown Road near Myersville, Maryland late in the summer of 2009 when she had an strange feeling. It was as if she was being watched. The road was lined with trees, she was on the outer edge of Gambrill State Park, and the forest was beginning to grow thicker. According to her, as she turned on Hawbottom Road, where her friend lived, the feeling became overwhelming. The hairs on the back of her neck rose in terror as she sensed the unseen eyes upon her. She wanted to stop the car and take her breath, she was afraid that she would veer off the road and hit a tree because she her nerves were getting so unsteady that she began to shake. But she knew that whatever was watching her, and following her was out there, and she took what little comfort she had by being safer inside her rust rotted car. Still, to prevent a wreck, she slowed down as she headed south, and that was when she saw the creature.

At first it was a blur to the right of her periphery vision. Something that was moving through the trees, a shadow that flickered as it went in and out of sight on the edge of her vision. It was a brown smear of color that popped out in contrast to the dull dark grey trees that she passed.

Whatever it was, it bobbed through the underbrush and between the trees to keep pace with her car. She thinks at the time, she was going around 25 miles per hour. She then slowed down once more to take a good look to her right, and make sure that she was not seeing things. As her car slowed to a crawl, the brown blurry smear of color seemed to bound out of the woods closer to the road. With a massive leap the hazy color became flesh as a huge dog-like animal on two legs emerged from the foliage.

The fangs are burned into her memory. Huge fangs from a mouth grimaced in anger and hate. She could feel the fangs as if they were ripping her skin while the creature stood there panting on the side of the road. Drool dripped from its huge mouth as she heard a loud growl, and she looked into the dark eyes. Darkness took up its entire eye, there was no white at all. It was if she was staring death and hell head on in dizzying madness.

Then it leaped, arms outstretched with claws grasping the wind. Instinctively she stepped on her gas pedal with all her might. The squeal of her tires seemed as if her car too was screaming in horror at the thing that emerged from the dark looming forest.

She did not look back. She didn’t want to know if the thing was following her. She didn’t feel the eyes upon her anymore. She was too shaken to really feel anything at all. When she made it to her friends house, she sat in the driveway shaking as she looked around to make sure the creature had not followed her there. The house was also in the woods, at the opposite side of the State Park. When she felt safe, she made a mad dash for her friend’s door, and banged on it frantically.

He did not know what to make of her story. The witness knew he did not believe her. He had lived in the woods all his life, and had never encountered what she had seen. He assured her that it must have just been a dog, perhaps a rabid one at that. Her mind was playing tricks on her. But the young woman knew what she had seen that late summer day. It was no dog. It was something out of a horror movie come to life before her eyes. Though she told nobody what she felt it really was, she called it a werewolf. That is until after she did some research in the local college library and came up with the name that others had called it when they too saw the forest come alive. She had encountered the Dwayyo.

Tall Pale Humanoid 'Night Crawler' Chases Biker In South Georgia

A young man from south Georgia has a bizarre encounter while riding his bike home from work. He describes a tall pale humanoid chasing him at an incredible rate of speed.

The following account was recently referred to me:

"I live in south Georgia and I leave work at around 10:45 PM, riding my bike for about 30 minutes to get home on a dimly lit road. Before I take the long ride home I usually stop at my girlfriend's house which is around a minutes ride from my work.

On one particular night my phone died once I reached her house. As I was about to leave we both felt a slight feeling of dread. She wished me a safe ride and I began the ride home. Just a little down the road, the light on the front of my bike died which meant I was flying mostly blind. I stopped and turned on some small little lights on the spokes of my front wheel so cars could see me for safety reasons. I know the road to my house very well so I wasn't too worried about my light going out at the time.

My neighborhood sits behind a gas station and a restaurant with a spacious parking lot on the other side of the road. Another important detail is that the sidewalk is on the side of the restaurant. As I was riding, very close to the entrance of my neighborhood, I saw a large group of people standing in the parking lot. I rode by not saying a word. I was startled when I heard one of them yell something that sound like "Hey!" It was in a loud forceful tone. I began to bike faster after hearing this. I didn't even look both ways or stop in front of the road. Rather I just barreled through to the other side.

As I looked behind me, as I was entering my neighborhood, I was horrified to see that the crowd of people were all chasing me on bikes. Terrified, I sped up even more through my neighborhood. I was very scared because I essentially had a beacon on me with the spoke lights on my bike. My neighborhood doesn't have many straight roads so I tried to lose them as best I could. I am a very competent biker so I managed to turn some corners very fast and every time I looked back I saw less of them chasing me. After making a very precarious turn onto one of the straight long roads in the neighborhood I rode as fast as I could. My house is only one turn away from the end of the road so I tried to book it to the end.

When I was a decent distance down the road I took one last look behind me and was horrified. There was this huge thing chasing me. It was very lanky and tall (my guess is around 7ft tall) and had a tall face. It also has very pronounced and long knuckles. I could not make out much detail other than that, but I definitely remember its pale white skin. It was running at me faster than I've ever seen anything go. I was going the fastest I've ever gone on on my bike yet it was still catching up to me on foot. It looked like it was exerting itself a lot by running that fast. It was leaning heavily into its run and its arms were moving quickly beside it with its hands into fists.

I let out an audible yelp due to the immense terror I was feeling at that point. I turned the final time onto a smaller street and then turned into my driveway. I jumped off my still moving bike and threw open the door (which was luckily unlocked) and ran inside. When my mom went to see what was up I told her there was something chasing me outside. She ran to go lock the door and heard a noise that sounded like someone saying "HEY!" outside.

My mom later reported it to the police and they patrolled the neighborhood at night for about two weeks. It was recently that my girlfriend and I were talking about this again and we realized that that thing was running faster than any human possibly could. She suggested it could be a 'night crawler' so I thought I would post my story." VS

Black 'Bipedal' Cryptid Wolf Observed At West Grand Lake, Maine

A couple in West Grand Lake, Maine recall a possible black upright canine seen on 2 occasions by the husband. Then later, he experiences a black shadowy figure. 

I recently came across the following account:

"This occurred in September 2016, while visiting at West Grand Lake, Maine. I had been playing with the dogs outside around dusk (the sun was below the tree line, but there was still plenty of light to see by) and went in to use the bathroom. My husband had been fiddling with a guitar, but wandered into the bathroom looking like he wanted to say something. He was pale and sweaty, kind of staring into space, so I was naturally concerned. He wouldn’t tell me what was wrong at first, but I finally got out of him that he had seen a huge, black wolf walk by the window. I told him it must have been a bear, knowing that there aren’t supposed to be wolves around here, and that the window was too high for any canine on four legs to walk in front of. He said no, but whatever it was I didn’t want the dogs messing with it, so I ran back outside. They were still wrestling in the side yard, oblivious, so it was easy to get them back in and then I had a look around. I didn’t see any animal, or sign, but noted that the window was even higher than I thought.

When I went back in, my husband described what he had seen as a black, bipedal wolf. He said the snout and ears were wolf-like, but that it had yellow eyes that reminded him more of a cat. I measured the window and the bottom of it is 6ft off the ground, so for any thing’s head and torso to pass by it from where he was standing the animal would have to be more like 7 feet tall. One of our dogs is tall enough if he stood up on his hind legs, but we’ve never seen him do that on his own and he’s blue-gray, with floppy ears, and brown eyes. There aren’t any huge, black, circus dogs on my road that I know of.

My husband is very skeptical of anything not accepted by the scientific community, but still insists that it wasn’t a black bear he saw. He concluded that he must have hallucinated the whole thing.

Two weeks later, around the same time of day, my husband saw the same animal. This time he was close to the window and the animal was further away, running out through a small stand of red pine. He still doesn’t believe it was real, even after seeing it a second time.

And then, (not sure if this is related) about a week after that I was gardening and my husband comes out back calling for me, really shook up again. He said he was sitting in his computer chair and thought I was standing over his shoulder. He said when he looked up it was a black form, (like a shadow person), he jumped and it was gone, but it scared the crap out of him. He wanted me to come inside and keep an eye on him because he was afraid it meant he was having a stroke or something." GC

NOTE: Interesting account. This one could go in all directions. Is it possible that the witness, after observing the bipedal wolf, may have manifested the shadowy being that he saw behind him? Thoughts? Lon

'Werewolf' Encountered Along Roadway In Calvert County, Maryland

A teen in Calvert County, Maryland is traveling with his family when he sees an upright canine standing against a tree at the edge of the woods.

The following personal account was posted by a colleague:

Date: June or July 1992, 5:00 pm.

Location: Calvert County, Southern Maryland

"This is a rather short encounter, because I was riding in a car and basically saw it and rode past it. I have been past the site hundreds of times since then, but have never gotten out and walked around the area. Maybe I should. This encounter changed my life. When I read the encounters by others, I never discount them. Why? Because I know what I saw and who am I to question someone else's experience? Sure, there are a lot of made up stories and creepy pasta out here! But I strive to find credible sounding accounts.

It was evening and my family and I were coming back from Chesapeake Beach, MD from having dinner with my brother, mom and dad. I was 15-16 years old and in the back-right passenger seat chilling with my brother. Riding along, I'm just looking out the window and there is a little road that merges onto the main road on the left, so as we merge we pick up a little speed. We are going maybe 25-30 mph and you have to cross this little bridge and it's really bumpy, so we slowed even more to maybe 20 mph. Once we did that I look up ahead and about 75 yards ahead I see something standing on the wood edge off to the right a little, but it was exactly at the edge of the woods. It had both arms on a tree just standing there, meaning, it's right arm was on a tree about shoulder height and it's left arm was on a tree at about shoulder height. So it's arms were basically spread out with it's hands on the trees.

It was about 7ft tall (maybe even taller) had a wolf-like face, only larger like a dire wolf from Game of Thrones. It had really broad shoulders, very muscular arms, a barrel chest and it narrowed the rest of the way down the abdominal area. It was dark brown and the hair was medium length. I didn't get a great look at the legs because it locked eyes with me. It knew I saw it and it saw me. I saw it a good distance up ahead and was like "what the hell is that standing on the wood edge?" Soon as I said that to myself I locked eyes with it. I saw it for a good 10-15 seconds because of how far up ahead I first noticed it moving around and how slow we were traveling. It's eyes followed mine the entire time. It took my breath when I first realized what I was looking at and my first thought was, "God, that thing is ugly!" It had very pointy features and it didn't look like a Bigfoot, but an actual werewolf. A lot of people call it a Dogman, but I'm more inclined to say this was an actual Wolfman. I said out loud to my family, "did you guys see that thing?" Obviously they were like, "see what?". Another thing, this was in southern Maryland where there are no bears or other large animals. But I asked my family over and over if they saw it and they started getting annoyed with me. I told people over the years, but I was only ridiculed and teased about it, so I just stopped.

So that was my encounter. My family still doesn't believe me either and most other people think I'm crazy or lying, so I very rarely tell anyone about it. But it was real, it was there. I just want to know the "W's" of the creature. Where, what, why etc." S

Tall Upright Canine Encountered Near Todd Lake, Michigan

A teen girl, living on a farm near Todd Lake, Michigan, encounter a tall dog-like creature that was seen inside the family barn.

The following account was forwarded to me by an investigator in Michigan:

"The witness was a teenager at the time, and was sneaking cigarettes behind her parents' home, near Todd Lake, northeast of Reed City, Michigan in the winter of 1993. The sun was setting on a clear, cold day. She was facing a large abandoned barn on the property next door. Through a hole broken in the siding, she saw what she thought was "a piece of old farm machinery," just inside the building.

She watched for a few moments, but the object didn't move. Then a deer or some other large animal snapped a branch in the woods nearby. Her attention was diverted, and she turned her head to see what had caused the noise. In her peripheral vision, she noted that "the farm machinery moved too." When she looked back, the setting sun was silhouetting the object in the barn. She froze in place when she realized that she was looking at a tall animal. It turned its head back and looked straight at her. It was, in her words, "at least 6 feet tall if not more. It was dark colored. It had a dog-like appearance; pointy nose and really big pointy ears."

She dashed into her house to grab a flashlight. When she returned outside, she shined it toward the barn door but the animal was no longer there. She walked closer to the barn to look for tracks in the heavy snow. When she didn't see any, she realized the creature might still be inside, and ran back to the safety of the house. She never saw the creature again.

The witness later talked to a friend who had seen something "the size of a buffalo but the shape of a dog" in the same barn, but at a different time. The girl had been hysterical for days after her encounter. Neither of these witnesses heard of "The Legend" song, or about the Michigan Dogman, until years later." C

NOTE: this area in Osceola County, Michigan has been historically active with upright canine encounters and sightings. BTW, the 'Gable film' and the associated 'Michigan Dogman' was proven to be a hoax. You can read about it at 'Gable Film' Revealed As Hoax...MonsterQuest Ends It's Run. Lon
