Possible Bigfoot Encounter While Hog Hunting in West Texas

2 young Texas men are in a blind, hunting for hogs, when they noticed a rancid odor and grunting sounds from behind them. Something literally rocks the blind, but they never see what it was.

The following account was recently referred to me:

"This happened to my buddy and me when I was at college during the winter of 2010. I was and still am an outdoorsy guy who has been at home in the woods for a very long time. I’ve seen and heard a lot, but never had a experience like this.

I met my buddy at college that first semester and we became fast friends. Before I knew it he was inviting me back to his family's place that winter to stay there and do a bit of hog hunting. I have hunted hogs since I was old enough to hunt so I jumped at the chance.

We got to his parents place and holy hell it was beautiful. They own about 1500 acres out in rural west Texas. His family raise, show, and sell cattle and are loaded. They are amazing people and they kind of took to me like a second son, over my time at college I was visiting them a lot. But since his family are avid hunters and the land they live on is mainly for cattle, they own another 1,000 acres they lease to hunters and also use themselves to hunt on.

So after a day or two at their primary ranch we set out to the hunting lease. It was just my buddy and myself, no hunters had leased it that winter yet. We set up our stuff at the little hunting cabin they had and set our alarms to wake us up at 6 AM.

We got some rest and woke up ready to get out to the stand. We got to the stand after a short hike through the cold and hopped on up into the stand. It was one of those big green metal stands that’s elevated about 15-20 ft. in the air. The area it was set up facing was perfect, to the left about 100 yards was a mostly caliche rock clearing with trees lining it and dead cactus. In front of us was a wider clearing with sparse trees and various weeds and grass. To the right was a decently dense patch of trees, and behind us was a dense patch of trees and a high fence about 30 yards back. We could not see behind us because the blind he had was only 180 degree view. Just a back wall and a door with a window that was boarded up because the glass or whatever it had in it was broken.

We just set up the chairs and the waiting began. We had a beautiful view of the area and the sunrise coming from the east of where we were. We didn’t see anything the first hour so we just kept chatting.

About an hour after the sun rose we started hearing some limbs breaking and brush rustle from behind us. Sounded a good ways back maybe 50 yards or more. We readied our rifles hoping that what we were certain were hogs would circle around.

I remember sitting there just waiting, watching the fog from my breath for a good 5 minutes. The rustling got closer, then I noticed a really metallic smell. The best way I can describe it is the smell crappy tools give off when you don’t take care of them. Kind of like a mix of copper and feces.

I looked at my bud and whispered “you smell that” and he nodded and shrugged his shoulders. A minute later we’re still waiting, the rustling seems to get closer. Then it just kind of stopped. After a couple minutes I could still smell the stink but no noise and figured maybe a couple hogs had taken a dump near the stand and moved on. I reach to pick up the bottle as my buddy puts his rifle down and just as we’re doing that we heard a scream/grunt.

I have never heard anything like it. It was like a low grunt that escalated into a gravelly scream and it sounded like it was right outside the back of the blind. Before we could ever really react we heard a bunch of twig and branches snap. Sounded like it was right outside the back of the blind. Not a couple seconds after we feel the ENTIRE blind shake about 3 times, like if a car had bumped into it. I just looked at my friend and he looked just as freaked out as I felt.

We heard a loud, singular grunt and then the sound of twigs and branches breaking again slowly getting quieter. We just sat there too freaked out to move for what felt like an hour but was only about 10 minutes. I don’t know if it was just me trying to be brave but I got up and opened the door, and nothing was there.

We climbed down and had our rifles ready. We both new it wasn’t a hog but tried to convince ourselves it was. We could see the old stand marks on the ground and the whole stand had rocked forward about 6in. There was a bent portion of one of the metal struts and two big depressions where it looked like feet had dug into the rocky ground. We figured whatever it was stood there whole it was rocking the stand. We stood there looking dumbfounded and we just decided to get the hell out of there.

We drove back to his main house and told his dad. He said to just stay at their house with them for the night and we would go check it out tomorrow.

When we got there the day after we saw the same things that were there the day prior, and his dad was super confused. I don’t think he initially believed us when we told him about what happened.

We found where whatever it was had come from. There was a clear path in the grass, leading away from the stand, where it has been depressed and you could see tree limbs broken. The highest one that was broken off was about 7 ft off the ground.

We walked back 30 yards to the high fence that was there and sure enough about a 4ft wide section had been mangled and bent down. His dad was pissed, obviously, but he was also really confused. He told us that he had never had this happen and reckons it was just a giant hog but I never thought so.

I don’t want to just say it’s Bigfoot, but I have never had an explanation as to what could have caused that. Over the years I’ve grown to believe in Bigfoot more and more. My dad had a encounter with what he claims could have been Bigfoot as well so maybe it runs in the family?" RM

Winged Entity Observed & Chased Over Jackson Park, South Chicago

A south Chicago man notices a winged entity in the sky above him as he exits a metro bus. He follows the entity into Jackson Park until it flies off over Lake Michigan.

I recently talked to the eyewitness of the following account:

I received a telephone call in regards to a winged being sighting on September 5, 2011 (Labor Day). This occurred during the same 3-month period in 2011 when 3 previous winged being / humanoid sightings were reported to the MUFON CMS (when our investigation initially began).

At approximately 4 PM CT, eyewitness 'JD' was getting off the metro bus at the intersection of S. Jeffery Blvd & E. 67th St. in Jackson Park Highlands in south Chicago (near the Mobile gas station). JD noticed an unusual flying being approximately 100-120 feet above him, adjacent to an apartment building in the vicinity.

JD describes the entity as black in color with bat-like wings, a small bulbous head and what seems to be 'tentacles' extending from behind it. He states that it was definitely biological and seemed to be looking down at him and others. He began to follow it as it made its way over Jackson Park and the golf course. As he continue to follow the entity into a stretch of trees, the entity 'rolled' and displayed a emerald green 'light' on the under belly. During the entire time, the entity never flapped it wings, but flew 'op and down' in altitude.

Also, JD sensed that the entity was watching him as he chased it. It would dip and turn towards him on occasion. JD never determined the structure of a face.

The winged being eventually turned towards Lake Michigan and quickly flew towards the east.

That night, and several subsequent night, JD has very livid and frightening dreams of the winged being flying towards him and displaying an owl-like head and face with large round amber eyes. JD is positive that the entity knew that he was following it and that wanted him to remember the incident. This event has bothered JD since that day, only recently deciding to come forward and make a report.

Canine Cryptid Encountered at Night on Eastern Carolina Road

2 friends are driving at night in the eastern North Carolina flatlands when they suddenly encounter a extremely tall and lanky canine cryptid on the side of the road.

The following account was recently posted on social media:

"This still bothers me to this day. I was in high school at the time and it was around 1 AM on a Saturday night. My best bud and I were just hanging out playing some league at the crib when we got a call that our friend got too drunk at a party and needed to be picked up. Whatever, we’re sober as penguins and he’s gotten us before so we set out. We pick him up and throw him in he backseat and begin the journey home.

We live kind of out in the country (eastern North Carolina) so it’s a bit foggy and no other cars on the road. When all of a sudden as we come around a turn, we see this...animal? Thing? A ball of reddish-brown fur just hunched over in the ditch on the side of the road. I thought it was maybe an injured bear or a big ass wolf, so I slow down to a crawl and blast the high beams. This thing proceeds to turn its head and look right at us. Beady little red eyes, pointed ears, and a snout like a wolf. I can’t look away from this thing as our drunken friend is rolling around in the back completely unaware. This thing then stands up on two legs and turns to face us. Looks like a werewolf/vampire mix. Fangs poking out of its mouth. Long pointed ears. Covered in long reddish brown fur that’s thinner on its chest and midsection. It’s taller than the street sign next to it and it’s still in the ditch. Easily 8-9 ft tall. It’s lanky as hell but still can see some muscle definition. And it’s just staring at us.

I glance over at my buddy in the passenger seat and he’s sunken way down shaking just saying “Drive. Drive. Drive. Dude, please just drive. Jake please. Drive.” I turn my head back to decide if I’m going to have to run this thing over. This thing gets down on all fours and bounds across the field next to it at a break neck pace. And I just sit there stunned. I snap out of it and drive home, questioning if I go on to be one of those crazy Bigfoot people and spend my life hunting this thing.

Nobody ever believes me when I tell the story but I can still call my buddy up and ask “WTF did we see that night dude?” and he immediately knows what I’m talking about. So yeah. And now I spend 90% of my time in forests and outdoors for my job. Always knowing that shit like that really do be out here." TC

Opossum Transforms Into Winged Humanoid - Witnessed by Louisiana Pastor & Wife

A Louisiana pastor and his wife observe an opossum that literally transforms into a tall lanky humanoid with 12 ft. wings that ascends into the sky and flies around above them.

I recently received the following account:

"Several years ago, my brother was a pastor at a Baptist church on Highway 90 in Duson, Louisiana. He and his wife lived in a trailer house on the church property. They got home one evening after dark and saw an opossum that had been eating their cat food. The opossum ran out across the back of the church parking lot, which was lit by security lights, and stopped by the base of a tree about 50 yards from their back door.

My brother decided he was tired of this animal eating the cat food. He opened the back door and grabbed his scoped .22 rifle, turned off all the lights in the house and got in a prone shooting position on the floor. He could see the opossum at the base of the tree. Its eyes were shining in the light of the security lamps. He decided he would wait until the opossum came closer for a clean kill shot. The opossum did proceed back towards his house but stopped under the lights in the middle of the parking lot. That's when he was shocked by the next series of events.

The opossum morphed into a humanoid figure about six feet tall with a very small head. It was very thin and had arms an legs like a human but also very thin. It began to pace back and forth across the parking lot but always looking in his direction. He said he could see its eyes shining and he knew that it knew he was there even though he was in the dark. He said he was totally creeped out but decided to wait and see what happened next. It morphed back into a possum and ran back to its original position at the base of the tree.

A few minutes later his wife came out of the shower wrapped in a towel and he told her she needed to see something. She got into a prone position next to him and he directed her to look at the base of the tree where the opossum's eyes were shining. He told her to be very still and watch it with him. He said he wanted her to witness something but did not tell her what he had seen. Shortly, the opossum again came out into the middle of the parking lot and morphed into the humanoid shape once again. His wife freaked and asked him what it could be. She thought she was looking at a demon.

A few seconds later they heard a loud rustling sound coming from it and then two feathered wings spread out from its back. He said the wingspan was at least 12 feet. It then started flapping its wings and rose off the ground and hovered at about 15 feet all the while still looking at them. It then gained altitude and flew toward his house and over his roof. He said they could hear its wings flapping. He said he ran outside and looked back over the top of his house and could see it heading away from them in the moonlight. It then turned and flew back over the top of his house and kept flying until they could no longer see it.

Just FYI, my brother is an avid outdoorsman and hunter and is very familiar with Louisiana wildlife. He has captured poisonous snakes and alligators by hand and is afraid of nothing in the natural world. He told me that he was having a difficult time trying to rationalize what they had seen. He asked me not to tell anyone because he didn't want the folks at his church to think he was a nut." CR

2nd Sighting of Winged Humanoid in Newton Abbot, Devonshire, England

A Mothman-like winged humanoid was recently observed by a witness in Newton Abbot, Devonshire, England. The same witness had a similar sighting in 2019.

I recently received the following account:

"Hi Lon: In the early hours of the morning I saw a Mothman-type cryptid creature outside in the back garden. I know this sounds absolutely absurd but it's true. I had just come down the stairs to get a cold drink from the fridge and I had only just walked into the kitchen when I saw a large shadow quickly move past the window. I thought to myself did I really just see that or did I imagine it. I then walked over to the fridge where I opened the door and got myself out a cold drink. I closed the door to the fridge and then turned around, when to my total surprise I saw something once again dart across the window before it moved across the garden over in to the shadows. I immediately ran up to the back door and looked through the glass window pane. It was dark out there and the only light was coming from the moon and an adjacent house. I looked around the garden and couldn't see anything. I thought to myself that's rather strange. It must be my eyes playing tricks on me. I then walked back over to the fridge where I got out a chocolate bar to snack on.

That's when it happened. I closed the door to the fridge once again and turned around only to be completely shocked by what I saw. I couldn't believe it there was a cryptid creature that was standing there over by the wall and it was huge in stature. I would estimate that it was about 9 foot tall and it appeared to be humanoid. It had bat-like wings that were stretched out and it had such a tremendous wing span to it. I thought to myself "What the hell could it be?" The cryptid creature didn't look real. It had a rubber looking texture to it and at first I thought that it was somebody in a suit mucking around outside. I was then completely dumbfounded when this thing turned and actually took off from the back garden where it flew up into the night sky with moonlight softly illuminating it. I watched as it disappeared off into the night sky. I wasn't scared or shaken up by it, instead my adrenaline was pumping I was really excited  by what I had just seen.

I quickly ran upstairs to get my Nikon P900 camera and my high powered spotlight just in case it came back. I stood there for most of the morning looking out the window hoping to get another look at the strange cryptid creature. This time I would be ready for it waiting with my camera and spotlight. The real strange thing about this though, is the fact that all this week in the early hours of the morning I had been hearing something large moving around on the roof of the house. Could it have been this strange cryptid creature?

Later on when it was light I went outside to look for any tracks or footprints, but unfortunately it had been raining heavily and the garden was just a muddy mess and any evidence of the cryptid creature's presence had been washed away. I know what I saw and it was definitely strange and other-worldly. Maybe this creature had flown down from the moors or something. Tonight I intend to keep a vigilant eye on the garden in the hope of seeing it once again. This bizarre sighting took place at 1:05 AM on the 4th of March in the early hours of the morning at Newton Abbot Devon England." JM

Before Roswell: The Padilla Ranch UFO Crash

On August 16, 1945, 20 mile southeast of San Antonio, New Mexico, Reme Baca and Jose Padilla literally stumbled across the remains of what they believe to have been an alien spacecraft. Their personal account of the case displays many of the key ingredients of crashed UFO lore:

In August of 1945 Jose Padilla and Reme Baca said they were sent out on horseback from the Padilla Ranch in San Antonio, New Mexico tasked to check on Jose’s father’s herd of new cows.

What they were sent to do and what they claimed to have experienced was nothing short of what actually occurred to them that frightening afternoon.

With their horses tethered as they hid behind a rock in the distant reaches of the New Mexico desert – Jose 9 and Reme 7 years of age at the time – were awe-struck by the sound of thunder and the grinding thud of something strange that came to earth on the Padilla Ranch in San Antonio, New Mexico.

With trepidation tendered by child-like watchfulness they approached the crash site to within 200 yards to witness a craft stuck in rock and sand; its charred 30 foot hull shrouded in dust and burned ash had skidded to rest at the end of a wide plough-like furrow the length of a football field.

Using binoculars they saw strewn wreckage, strange creatures and military activity that would haunt them for days to come and – for the rest of their lives.

All of this occurring two full years before the archetype of all UFO crashes on the Foster Ranch outside the small town of Corona, New Mexico a mere 67 miles from Roswell.

These astonishing claims, made by Jose Padilla and Reme Baca, have been researched and recorded by Denver author/researcher Paola Harris who – in conversation with ZlandCommunications – detailed how these two young Hispanic children: saw at least three creatures in the unusual oval shaped craft, had, some days later, climbed into the craft itself to retrieve pieces of the wreckage after guards had vacated the area and, how they were told by State Police to be quiet about what they had seen. - exopoliticsinstitute.org

Debris claimed to be from the crash site

Two little Hispanic children experienced an extraordinary event occurred in August of 1945.

Jose Padilla, age 9 and Reme Baca, age 7 witnessed a saucer crash on Padilla land in the town San Antonio, New Mexico. They were witness to one of the most spectacular events in UFO history.

The book entitled Born on the Edge of Ground Zero: Living in the Shadow of Area 51[image error] describes Jose Padilla’s and Reme Baca’s detailed account of what happened in their childhood. They explain what they saw the actual crash, the creature’s appearances, the pieces they took, the military clean up and an in-depth analysis of the significance of this case.

First printed in The Mountain Mail, Soccorro, New Mexico on November 2, 2003 by journalist Ben Moffet, the case was passed to me, journalist/researcher, Paola Harris in May 4, 2009. The desire to finally disclose the details and the kind invitation of Reme Baca, led me to fly to Gig Harbor in Washington State in the Northern part of the United States to interview witness Reme Baca and his wife, Virginia in July 2010. Consequently because he now lives in California, I interviewed Jose Padilla by telephone from the Baca house. During my two day stay, I was able to see and photograph the piece that Jose extracted from the craft and study the detailed analysis of its composition done in Europe.

It is one of the most astounding cases I have ever covered in my career and it helps complete the puzzle of why there has been so many crash retrievals in New Mexico. As journalist Ben Moffet who so beautifully describes the cover-up, we can begin to see where it fits in UFO history:

It was in this crucible of suspicion and disinterest bred by familiarity that a small contingent of the U.S. Army passed almost unnoticed through San Antonio in mid-to-late August, 1945 on a secret assignment.

Little or nothing has been printed about the mission, shrouded in the "hush-hush" atmosphere of the time. But the military detail apparently came from White Sands Proving Grounds to the east where the bomb was exploded. It was a recovery operation destined for the mesquite and greasewood desert west of Old US-85, at what is now Milepost 139, the San Antonio exit of Interstate 25.

Over the course of several days, soldiers in Army fatigues loaded the shattered remains of a flying apparatus onto a huge flatbed truck and hauled it away. That such an operation took place between about Aug. 20 and Aug. 25, 1945, there is no doubt, insist two former San Antonioans, Remigio Baca and Jose Padilla, eyewitnesses to the event.

Padilla, then age 9, and Baca, 7, secretly watched much of the soldiers' recovery work from a nearby ridge.

 

NOTE: Other than their interviews with Ben Moffett and Paola Harris, the witnesses were fairly tight-lipped over this incident. Because of the amount of time it took for the witnesses to finally come forward with the information, I feel their claims need to be examined much further. Lon

JC Johnson: Cryptid Reptiles in the Four Corners

This is a repost of an article I had originally posted in 2012, in reference to the late JC Johnson's investigation of cryptid lizards and reptiles in the Four Corners.

Cryptid investigator JC Johnson of Crypto Four Corners just released a video - Video - Lizard Legends Come To Life (C4C) - that describes sightings of a fan-collared or hooded lizard that stands and runs on two legs. In fact, a witness observed the creature capture a flying bird at a height of five feet, then proceed to eat its prey. The witness states that this lizard looked like a 'water dragon.' JC estimates the weight in the range of 20 lbs. or so. This particular large lizard was reported in the Hogback, New Mexico in the far northeast edge of the Navajo Nation. The witness also stated that a friend's uncle witnessed one of these cryptid lizards kill and devour a Pit Bull dog.

In another part of the video the team investigate a den system dug under a low hanging tree. There was no evidence that a lizard had recently been there.

The description of size could correlate to a Western Chuckwalla, but other than that the mystery lizard description is unlike any species in that area I am familiar with. Chuckwallas are large lizards found primarily in arid regions of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico and are part of the iguanid family, Iguanidae. Primarily herbivorous, Chuckwallas feed on leaves, fruit and flowers of annuals and perennial plants; insects represent a supplementary prey.

The Reticulate Gila Monster feeds upon small birds, mammals, frogs, lizards, insects, and carrion but is a heavy and slow in terms of sprinting ability. These lizards can grow up to 2 ft. in length. Neither the Chuckwalla or Gila Monster are known to or seem capable of walking or running on two legs.

During JC's recent guest appearance on BTE, he described several odd sightings in the Four Corners region, including unknown reptile species. In the past, JC has related to me other sightings of small T-Rex and mini dinosaur-like cryptids throughout the region.

Frightening Bigfoot Encounter Accounts!

5 Bigfoot encounter reports recently posted on social media. A few are fairly harrowing, involving several witnesses and experiencers to the incidents.

The following Bigfoot encounter accounts were recently posted on social media:

"I have had a few experiences over the years living in Appalachia when I was a kid. I would see what I referred to as a dark shaggy man watching us from time to time and was always mocked as having an active imagination. As years went on, working in the woods, I and a few others saw what we at first thought was a creepy guy off in the distance sitting on a downed tree in a ghillie suit watching us. Above his head was a post sign, AKA property marker. Later on when we were up by said down tree is when I realized that sitting this man head reached that six foot marker whereas I said on the tree in the same spot. Being six foot, the sign was a foot above my head and he seemed to have just disappeared.

We still pass it off as a large man in a ghillie suit creepily watching us until a few of us were partying and camping up in that area a few years later and came across loud snapping sounds in the middle of the night. It could have been from the pouring rain but the next morning, not too far off from our camp, a large footprint, in spirit, handprint were on the hillside going up from our camp. That kind of sent chills down my spine. A little bit considering. It wasn't too far from where we were camping. I told others about it they laughed at me so we decided together that the 13 of us to go hiking in that area in the middle of the night. We all got spooked by what started as a whoop which we were thinking could be a deer or a moose but it quickly switched up to a guttural growl to a roar. Not one of us stuck around to see what the hell it was. As we turned to start hauling ass out of there a large tree branch went flying past us, which got us moving a lot faster. Not one of us was brave enough to go back or think to grab a camera or anything like that. That to me made me believer regardless of what anyone else says" RW

"In 1980 on a canoe trip through the Boundary Waters. We were about 100 yards out from our new camp sight when movement caught my eye. On shore, about 50 yards from our camp something huge and hairy leapt from the beach back into the woods. There were 10 of us, but only myself and one other guy saw it. I was only 14 years old, but I knew it wasn't a bear or a moose (which we did see a few days later at a different lake). Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night." CS

"It happened just north of Cottage Grove, Oregon on I-5, 10 miles from the London Track Way. It was after dark, on a moonless night and the Bigfoot was fully lit from head to toe from my headlights. My first thought was, "Wow, that guy's arms are HUGE!" I figured his upper arm was a foot wide. I though it was a man, until it took a step and I could see its entire bottom of its foot, toes down, knee bent at about 90%. I then knew exactly what it was. I figured it was about 7 1/2-8 1/2' tall as compared to the cars. It was an orangish-brown color from head to toe except the bottom of its foot and what I thought was its palm, they were a very light, off white, or light tan color. It looked like a man in a snow suit with the hood up as its head was very large and came to a point on the top, no visible neck. It was a tall Shaq-like figure. But as it was at the side of the road walking away from me I didn't see its face. It was quite up right and didn't seem to be in any hurry. It had just crossed a 4-lane freeway in the dark with no street lights and no flash light. As I am a field researcher and the encounter was very exciting. But I really would have liked to seen its face." LN

"My dogs woke me barking and I looked out toward the field and they were circling a big dark blob. I’m thinking, 'oh lord, bear!' I started to open my window to call them back and this thing stood up and took off toward the mountain and stepped over a barbed wire fence. Second time I was screamed at in my yard from 15 ft. away and we got a spotlight on it going up a 45 degree grade on the mountain beside the house through a briar thicket a goat wouldn’t go through. They killed my chickens. Didn’t eat them. Killed my dog. Swiped all the fruit from my trees and bushes. Tore the door off my breezeway and left it in the yard. Dropped trees to the creek path, etc. Long duration moans with embedded eee-ooo sounds in them, rock clacking, wood knocks." EM

"This was the summer of 2016. The lake dried up a bit and the water level was down about 20 ft. I was up at Icehouse Reservoir in the California mountains. It was Fourth of July weekend and we wanted to go camping. My dad's been there before and he wanted to show me his spot. The weather was nice.

After setting up camp me, my sister, two step brothers and I decided to go for a walk. We went down to the water and we were looking for stuff. I turned my head and I thought I was staring at a dead redwood tree that broke off at about 9 feet. But I started noticing limbs, arms and legs, then I seen facial features! I turned to look at my sister and step brothers and their jaws were dropped. They were completely in shock! I looked back and it started to walk away. Once we couldn't see him anymore, you can hear branches breaking and tree limbs, it sounded like a bulldozer was going through there!

We took off as fast as we can. my step brother kept falling because he had flip flops on. He took those off and bolted on big and sharp rocks he was so scared. His feet were all cut up when we got back to camp. He told our dad we saw a Bigfoot. He told us it was a bear, buy it didn't even look close to a bear! It was more human than anything! I was too in shock to speak. My sister stayed in the car for the rest of the day in shock. She didn't want to leave the safety of the car. I remember it like it was yesterday!" KS

Cryptid Bipedal Canine Reported in Point Pleasant, WV

The following report is from Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team member Rob Shaw from Point Pleasant, WV:

Lon, this is the formal report I wrote up three days after the sighting, outlining the situation and sighting. If you have anymore questions, please let me know.

Jan. 14, 2014

A couple nights ago, around 11/1130 pm, a local young lady, had a very scary sighting of a creature she described as "like a werewolf, only scarier."

The location is locally known here in Point Pleasant as "Cats Eye", on Madison Ave. Two nights ago, this young lady was sitting on her front porch, an enclosed patio with a few large windows. One window open in the front, beside the front door, smoking a cigarette. It was after 11pm and visibility was good, up to 100 feet because of street lights. She said before this sighting, she had heard strange noises and the local dogs had been going nuts off and on without an apparent reason.

As she was having a smoke, she noticed movement, thinking it was someone walking down the railroad tracks. She looked up and saw something that "blew her mind". It was, in her words, a thing that had a head of a dog, almost exactly like a German Shepard, and was walking like a person on two legs. She said she saw it's eyes, and that's when she noticed it was staring at her. She said that she "became lost in its eyes". Any other description, she cannot recall clearly after seeing it look at her and then her seeing it's eyes. She did tell me that it was either dark colored and almost had the look of wearing an oversized black sweatshirt, (as in meaning it was rather large/bulky in the upper body. RFS) but she didn't think it was a sweatshirt, but hair or fur. I asked her to clarify this. She said that's really the only thing she noticed and can remember, other than the head and description. She said the height was in the neighborhood of six feet, maybe just a bit less. She stated several times how the eyes "drew her in". She said the creature took a couple steps towards her, and at that time she saw a flash of light. The creature looked towards the direction it was originally heading and in a very quick movement, spinned and took off the direction it came from. The brief flash of light, she soon found out, was her mothers headlights as she turned into the road. She repeatedly asked her mother if she seen anything near the railroad tracks when she was near home. She said no, nothing, however she was not paying much attention because she was late getting in and was tired.

What I consider very interesting about this is the government installation, located directly across from the witnesses home, has an array of cameras installed over the entire property. It's also patrolled by armed guards. It's too bad we will never be able to see it, but I'm almost certain that this creature was recorded on their cameras.

Below are the maps I made to show detailed description of the events (click images for larger version):

#1 - The area the witness has heard weird sounds, and is where the creature came from and retreated to. There is direct access to the Ohio River, a couple small ponds, and just about everywhere else with the very small possibility of being seen.

#2 - The government location. 'Logistics' is what the sign says on the front. Dubious rumors have been rampant in this town for years about exactly is going on here.

#3 - Home of witness.

#1 - is direction of travel of creature, when first seen. She had a pretty good view IMHO. 25 feet away.
#2 - this is where her mother turned in, from 26th Street and was heading towards the home, when her car/approaching headlights made the creature retreat. The blue line, in reverse, is the way the creature left. I think her mother did not see it, possibly because of the tree beside the tracks. I'm pretty sure you think as I, regardless of anything else, these things are smart. Possibly every bit as intelligent as Bigfoot/Sasquatch. I think this is a very credible witness, and the experience has had a very critical impact on her thinking and viewing of the world.

Fae Folk Encounters, Dreams & the Unexplained

Several experiencers describe their encounters with Fae and similar beings. One particular account seems to suggest that dreams of fairy folk may transcend into the real world.

I recently came across the following accounts:

"This happened in a restaurant near our town. We are there for a family reunion. The restaurant has a second floor and we are at the second floor.

It started as a very normal night to something really bizarre. It happened for about 5-6 years ago. I had just finished eating my food and I didn't know that the window in front of me is very wide open. When I look at it I saw a Fairy or it could be a Pixie who passes by the window. It is 7-8 inches long, very thin, with a little old man's face, bald and I most certainly remember how big his wings are. My cousin actually saw it too but she told me she only saw its wings.

I know this story is ridiculous but this is the reason why I believe to the supernatural beings now.

By the way, I look where the Fairy or Pixie came from and it came from the garden at the bottom. The garden is actually really beautiful with some Gnome statue on it. The back of the restaurant is a forest and that's what the Fairy or Pixie goes to when I saw him since the window in front of me is close to the back of the restaurant.

I know i sounded really crazy here but I'm just saying what I saw that day that change the way I view our world right now." Name withheld

"I saw something like this on a bike trail once! I thought I was crazy. It was about 6 inches long at my best guess with blue colored wings and humanoid. It flew zig zag...erratic, almost like a drunk bumble bee. It was the movement that caught my eye more than anything else and because it was such an off flying pattern.

My friend also saw it and focused in on it and saw the wings and humanoid form. It disappeared into the brush on the other side of the trail! First and last time I’ve ever seen one. I never talk about it because it does sound crazy." C

"I was standing near a very wooded area near my house one evening and kept hearing little footsteps just inside the woods. I wasn’t able to see too much because of it turning dark so I grabbed my phone and turned the flash on and snapped a few pics. In 2 different pics, small eyes reflected from my flash! They were ankle height. I had placed a fairy door nearby at the base of a tree, a few months earlier. Told my kids that they were fairies! But seriously have no idea what they could’ve been." B

"I just wanted to share this story and see if anyone has had a similar experience. I haven’t really told any friends about this because I’m worried they’ll think I’m insane. Anyway, I grew up in sort of a hectic household (my mother is wonderful by my father was incredibly abusive). I have a sister who is 2 years older than me and for most of our childhood we would have the same reoccurring dreams that involved us going to this fairy world.

I’m in my twenties now and honestly don’t remember a lot of the details and looking back it seems totally insane we would be having the same dreams, but at the time we didn’t think anything of it. I do vividly remember how we would spend our days talking about all the things we did with the fairies the night before and all the things we would do when the fairies came to pick us up that night and take us to their world. This went on for a few years, some times months would go by without any fairies, then we would have the same “dream” again where they picked us up and brought us to their world. I know this sounds completely unbelievable and honestly I didn’t think about it for years, I had just chalked it all up to childhood imagination, forgot about it, and moved on with my life.

Then I met my beautiful friend I’ll refer to as T. T is this extremely ethereal non-binary person who is incredibly stunning and just has the warmest energy ever. They consider themselves clairvoyant and have given extremely accurate readings to some of our mutual friends. I’ve never been a sceptic really, but have also always taken these sorts of things with a grain of salt. T and I started hanging out a lot but never really talked about anything paranormal. We actually spent more time talking about our crushes and making jokes about reality TV and stuff, so I definitely never told them anything about the fairies (and at the point that this happened I had never told anyone, and my sister and I hadn’t talked about it since we were kids).

This is why I was so surprised when one night we were hanging out and they said literally out of nowhere “so tell me about the fairies.” I nearly fainted. I asked what they were talking about and they said “the ones who visited you and your sister. They’re still watching you, you know.” I immediately burst into tears and told them everything. Then I called my sister and she started freaking out too. She said she remembered everything about the fairies and she couldn’t believe it! I even called my mom and she said she remembered us talking about the fairies and she always thought it was strange we would have the same dreams.

Honestly I know this sounds insane but I swear on my life this is all true. I never thought fairies were real at all but this has changed everything and has me questioning a lot, but I really don’t know how to talk to anyone about it without them thinking I’ve lost my mind. It just seems too coincidental that my sister and I would have this shared experience and then someone else would bring it up years later. I’m so confused." SA
