'Iridescent Eyes' Staring At Me From The Shadows - Gila National Forest, NM
Another strange and scary encounter by a camper in the Gila National Forest, New Mexico. This time, an unfamiliar set of iridescent eyes stares at the witness.
The following account was forwarded to me in reference to my previous post referencing the Gila National Forest:
"This incident occurred in 2007 in the wilderness of the Gila National Forest in New Mexico. I am from New Mexico and was raised in Roswell, so this is an area I have visited several times prior without issue.
On this trip I was with a group of about 10 other people. We were two days into our trek with several more to go. For those who aren’t familiar with the Gila, it’s a stunningly beautiful area with trails that follow a winding river that carves through a canyon. There are high cliff sides jutting up hundreds of feet through some parts of the canyon and dense brush. Overall it is very isolated and has an odd vibe to it in certain places. I’ve always associated that with the fact that it’s an area with ancient Native American history dating back to at least 9,600 BC that I know of (or maybe further). Lots of crazy stuff has happened there over the years to be sure. It has a compelling history.
On this particular night we were camped in an area where the river makes a U-shape as it wraps through the canyon. It was a fun day, and I had even managed to catch some trout that I ate for dinner. Right around dusk I needed to relieve myself, so I wandered away from our camp into what I would describe as a ravine, or an arroyo where flood waters drain into the river. There was dense brush and high sloping banks on either side. All in all it seemed a good place to go to do my business at the time. I made my way up the ravine and thinking back on it, I walked an unreasonable distance from the camp which I find strange. As if I kept walking almost absentmindedly or was drawn further in, which is not my norm.
As a preface, there is something I think many here are familiar with that is known colloquially as ‘The Silence.’ Typically this phenomenon occurs in nature when there is a large predator in the area. Anyways, I noticed it was eerily quiet, and I knew that something was very wrong. When I say quiet I mean the silence was deafening, if that makes sense. By this time it’s nearly completely dark, and I am out of earshot of my camp. Alarm bells intensely started blaring in my head and gut, my hair stood on end. I noticed a strange change in my perception (likely caused by the twilight phase change), but the light around me seemed to become shrouded in shadow quite suddenly. It was almost like someone had one of those sliding dimming switches for a lightbulb.
You know that feeling you get when you are sitting somewhere public and just feel someone else looking at you? That’s what happened suddenly and intensely. A few moments later I heard a loud and distinct CRACK and odd rustling from about 30 feet away, above me in the bush. It sounded like a person walking where no person should be. It sounded like human footsteps cracking twigs. I was petrified to make a move, but finished my business and stood as confidently as I could muster facing the direction of the sound. I was unarmed, and knowing what I know about predators, I didn’t want to make myself appear any more vulnerable than a kid alone in a ditch and in the dark. I’ve had encounters with bears, mountain lions, etc. But this felt so much different. I did not have the high ground, figuratively and literally.
I called out loudly, “Hello?”
A few seconds passed and the rustling continued in the distance.
Silence.
With no response back after a few moments at this point I felt beyond vulnerable and terrified. Unreasonably terrified. In hindsight and after researching I often wonder if infrasound played a role.
With my hair standing on end I took a few steps backward and that’s when I noticed the eyes. About 20 feet away above the bank of the ditch was a pair staring directly at me. I was in shock for a moment as it was near where I heard the crack - slightly iridescent looking eyes high above me on the bank. High enough that they had to either be a massive creature, or a large creature in a tree branch. The silhouette didn’t make sense, but shadows play tricks on the eyes and mind. I can’t be sure it wasn’t a large owl or something like that, but the circumstances and general feeling make me believe otherwise. The silence and heaviness in the air was totally wrong, but it’s hard to explain.
Instinctively I backed up as slowly as I could facing those eyes, and that’s when I heard another crack above me to my right. This made me lose my sh*t, as that noise was MUCH closer. At this point my fight or flight kicked in and I turned and sprinted as fast as I could. Breathless, I made it back to camp and told my friends I thought there was possibly a large predator in the area and we should make sure we bear bag and take precautions.
Thinking back on it, I think it very well could have been a mountain lion or a bear. Who knows? One thing I know for certain is that I felt like I was in absolute danger, and all of my alarm bells were screaming to get the fuck out of there. Still freaks me out all these years later, the shade of that memory is always in the back of my mind whenever I’m out in the woods alone. All in all, I’m just glad I’m not another backwoods missing person statistic." BB

Are 'Aliens' Actually Time Traveling Humans?
Ever since I posted The 'Greys' Are Our Descendants...Evolved From Humans I received a lot of response from readers and others who have similar beliefs. The following information was forwarded to me:
"I don't want to argue about the actual existence of the beings in UFOs, but this narrative is for those who accept that aliens are inside UFOs from another planet. I'd like to suggest that the aliens are actually evolved humans who are in time machines (UFOs). I learned of this theory from Dr. Michael Masters.
It's based on the following premises: UFO sightings are real and an advanced species is real, because thousands of people have reported seeing them.
The theory is that creatures on other planets would not evolve into bi-pedal primates. Human evolution is specific to earth's history, and bipedalism (and how our consciousnesses evolved to create tools and create language) is awfully rare and dependent on a bunch of factors in earth's history. This is natural selection 101. Just ask a professor about the odds of a human-like species evolving somewhere else. Add the fact that both civilizations need to have a similar technologically progression, speak the same language, and be relatively close to each other in the universe to connect.
Greys are usually described as being bald, short, thin, with small lips, big eyes, and speak your language with mental telepathy. That sounds much closer to a human from the future than a being from another planet. An alien, if it is even a carbon based entity close to our size, would have adapted based on its own planet's gravity, atmosphere, tree of life, and environmental challenges.
As far as motives go, just as researches study and observe creatures or tribes, time travelers do the same to us - they are future anthropologists, historians, and even tourists. They want to learn about us.
Dr. Masters uses the 4-D block spacetime model of the universe, which has closed time loops, i.e. there are no parallel universes/alternate timelines. Someone from the future was already destined to go back into time and "make history" - there is not another timeline. Spacetime has coordinates where the past, present, and future events have already happened.
For example, when you read a history book, you can't change the events in the book. Well, in the year 3000, right NOW in spacetime, a student is reading about the primitive days of 2021. We are already dead, but are also alive. Thus is the nature of spacetime.
In other words, if Roswell Incident was about a crashed time machine, the U.S. may have used the tech to reverse engineer and help future generations build a time machine. There is not an "original timeline" - the events always existed and created each other. There is no free will, since everything already happened.
Many contactees or abductees describe other species besides Greys, such as Nordic or even standard humans dressed in regular clothes. These could be time travelers from a different age. Do not limit your thinking that time travelers just come from one epoch.
One reason why UFOs are non-threatening is that they are controlled by evolved humans - so would be a paradox for them to destroy us, just like you could not kill your grandfather before he made your parent.
Anyway, there are more details, but my point is just run through this scenario in your head for every UFO report or alien encounter case you read. Ask yourself is it more likely the beings are future humans or aliens from another planet?" Name withheld

Heavy Biped Spooks Campers Near Gila National Forest, New Mexico
A group of friends are camping near the Gila National Forest, NM and experience frightening sounds made by a large biped around their campsite and tent at night.
The following account was in response to a reference I made about Bigfoot activity in the Gila National Forest in New Mexico:
"I had something happen to me a few miles outside of the Gila National Forest, NM. Some friends and I went camping out in the boonies, down a game trail with seriously low levels of activity. I like that area of the Gilas so much because a lot of it is logging land on the outskirts of legit unmapped woods.
The first place we set up camp was pretty much on the edge of a pine thicket where the forest jutted up a ridge, lots of trees still but not as many as further in if that makes sense. Anytime I go camping in a place like the Gilas, old growth forest with nobody around, I like to smudge the area with a sage bundle and roll a cigarette as a kind of offering and cleansing. I have a masters degree in cultural anthropology and I lend a lot of credence to indigenous beliefs, especially where it concerns the wilderness.
When I sat down by the fire we set up to get my sage started it wouldn’t light. I used my lighter, I stuck it in the fire itself, but it wouldn’t get lit, it just got charred and the twine burned up, but no significant smoke from the sage. It was eerie, because usually that’s a pretty bad sign if you follow any stuff like that. I just let it go because it was pretty dark out by this time, and to suggest moving camp probably would have gotten me heckled pretty badly by my friends.
As the night goes on, we’re doing typical camping stuff, playing guitars and singing songs, drinking beers and roasting hot dogs, etc. When we put out the fire I noticed just how dark the forest line really was at night and it spooked me pretty badly. We’d seen a herd of elk up the game trail, heard some coyotes, and I even saw a dinky looking turkey wandering around at one point in the early afternoon so I was aware of the wildlife around. But once that fire stopped popping it was dead silent, like you said there was a heaviness to it.
The three of us just kind of looked around in the dark trying to get our eyes to adjust but figured we’d been staring at the fire for too long and were just giving ourselves reasons to get freaked out by the darkness. So we hopped in the tent, zipped up, and just tried to get some sleep.
About an hour passed before we all heard the very distinct sound of bipedal walking very close to our camp. Crunching on the dry pine needles, twigs snapping, dirt getting kicked up. It sounded like a big burly guy was stomping around out in the middle of nowhere in pitch black dark. Even writing that just gave me a chill up my spine. That sh*t was unsettling. We all looked at each other from our sleeping bags, eyes wide and silent as whatever this thing was passed us by, just one. It was so quiet, no other life could be heard, not sniffing or snuffing like a bear would, no elk calls, no sound of jingling or equipment like a hunter might have, I honestly have no idea what in the world could make such a distinct 'THUMP' pause 'THUMP' pause, but it was wild.
None of us slept that night, and the next morning we moved camp down another game trail somewhere far away from that looming ridge and tree line. Didn’t see any evidence of anyone around us in at least a mile radius of the camp, and still I have no explanation for what I heard or experienced that night. As a side note, at the next place we set up my sage bundle lit and burned white milky smoke." DS

Video of a Supposed Dead Juvenile Bigfoot or Ape Surfaces
Here's a creepy one for you. Some guy claims to have found a dead juvenile Bigfoot or ape. He doesn't give the location...he only posted a video on Tic Tok along with some 'bewildered' dialogue in the background. Here is a critical opinion of the video posted on YouTube as well.
If it is fake, then whoever constructed it did a fairly reasonable job. I'm not going to give my personal opinion, but simply state that this smells as bad as a real dead primate. At least this one is in the woods and not not lying in a freezer. You be the judge. Lon

"When I lived in a small town in British Columbia, Canada, there was this couple that were very strange. We used to see them at the hot springs. First off, their skin was green not a bright green, more olive but definitely green; not like any other person I have seen. They never spoke to each other or anyone else when they were there. They looked a lot alike, like brother and sister although for some reason I always thought they were husband and wife.
I think the strangest thing about them though was when my husband, best friend, her husband and I all got baptized. It is a small community and it was in April. They allowed us to do the baptism in the hot pool. These people were there and you could feel the malevolence coming from them. They were angry and left quickly. Very strange. I am not even sure I believe in reptilians, but if they are real then these guys must have been that. Oh, and they had weird eyes. With no whites." PB

"It was 1986 in Honeygrove, Texas. My dogs woke me up. I heard something big walking beside the bedroom window. I thought my daughter's pony had got out of the barn. I went to the front door which had nine panes of glass. Walking diagonally right under a street light was a 7 foot tall bipedal lizard with a huge thick tail. I watched in disbelief as it walked between the houses across the street.
I did not go back to sleep. I watched the rest of the night to see if he would come back. Where did he come from? My yard was fenced in. No gate. My neighbor had no gate on that side either. My dogs saw it, for it was their barking that woke me up. It was grey in color. Legs thick as some tree trunks.
For the rest of the time I lived in Honeygrove, my daughters and I were inside before dusk. Its arms hung halfway to the thighs. Yeah...I hate it with my whole being. It turned my world upside down. I didn't talk about it until recently. They do exist." KJ

"It happened while I was walking on my college campus several years ago. I passed by a man who had very striking eyes; he was dark skinned but his eyes were bright green, which is a little unusual on its own. But then I also noticed that his pupils were vertical slits, like a feline or reptilian eye.
And that's the whole story. I lost him in the crowd and didn't follow after him because I had to get to class, but I still remember his very odd eyes. They had a bit of gold/yellow in them and a black "ring" around the iris too." KP

"I used to drive a truck for several years. I drove everything from a cargo van to 18-wheeler. One time I was sitting at the Pilot on the east side of Houston, Texas. I had my brother out on the road with me at the time. I was sitting there for a few days waiting for a load out.
Anyway, I was in McDonald's there at the Pilot, just sat down with my brother and our order. There was this man sitting at another booth across from us. He was eating his burger really slow. He was wearing a black suit, white shirt and sunglasses. He was watching a fly buzz around his booth. I promise you, that I seen through the corner of my eye, a long thin tongue shoot out and snag the fly right out of the air, and into his mouth. Without talking another bite of his burger he started chewing faster than ever. He had a huge smile on his face. He got up and left right after that. He threw his fries away without eating any, the burger with only a few bites taken out and his entire drink in the trash. He had that huge satisfied smile all the way to his car.
I still talk with my brother about that from time to time. If my brother wasn't there he would have definitely thought I was crazy." TW

Alien Encounter Experiencer Describes Their Ordeal & the Aftermath
An alien encounter experiencer describes their ordeal in stark detail, and later adding more thoughts as to what occurred and how their life progressed afterwards.
The following is an ongoing narrative in which the experiencer details their encounters:
"I do not remember what happened prior. All I remember was waking up “mid abduction.” Imagine that you wake up from sleeping after a night of drinking: you don’t remember where you were before, you just see where you are now. That’s exactly how it happened. I “woke up” standing in my own hallway in my trailer home. I was overwhelmed with the emotion of “fear” but I did not know why or what was happening. My body was mostly paralyzed and frozen in place while I was standing. I looked at my feet and then my hands and I noticed that my hands were on the side of a door in my hallway, with my fingers clutched to the side of the door (as if I was being pulled from behind).I turned my head around slowly, and I saw this being who was my height, maybe just a few inches taller than me. I was 10 years old at the time. He had a huge head that looked like a praying mantis’s head. He had two humongous eyes. I couldn’t see a mouth or nose or anything like that that I remember. It didn’t have ears. Just a huge white head and huge eyes. It was wearing a black cloak (not tight fitting). And it had his hands outstretched like it was trying to grab me. it had 3 fingers on each hand (possibly four, but definitely not five). The fingers seemed weird and it moved very little. As soon as I locked eyes with this being, it felt like someone punched me. As soon as my eyes locked with it, I became MORE paralyzed and I began to forget what was happening. I looked away as fast as I could and then never looked back for about an hour.
After I turned my back to it (it was standing in between me and my room), I was standing between it and the kitchen. We were both standing in a very narrow hallway in my trailer home. My fingers were clutched against the railing of a door that we called the “middle room” of our home.
I could feel myself being pulled back by what felt like a strong magnetic force. Like being pushed back by wind. I could fight it. It wasn’t a lost cause. I could struggle. As soon as I stopped looking at the being, my memory slowly started to come back. I thought “where am I?” And “why am I here?” I was full of fear and I looked down at my feet. I could tell that I was trying to run away from this thing. Looking into its eyes was so mesmerizing that it made me forget if it was a good guy or a bad guy. It felt indescribable. Later on in my life I would go on to try LSD, and the very peak of that experience is the best analogous experience I can use to describe what it felt like.
I forgot if it was a good or bad guy. And then I began hearing thoughts in my head saying “come this way.” I considered going to the being. I didn’t know if I was running away from it or if I was running to it. That’s how quick and intense I forgot everything in that second.
I looked at my legs though and could tell that I was trying to run away. I could feel my body filled with overwhelming fear. And then it slowly occurred to me...if I’m afraid and running away, this must be bad? This must be a bad person.
And then I had this overwhelming gut-wrenching feeling that this was NOT the first time I saw this thing. I had a feeling that I had seen this being several times before in “trips” that it made me forget. It was weird. A catch-22 philosophical experiment. I felt like I had agreed to this experiment. It was weird. Like, we had had this discussion before. That it could talk to me and I could go on trips with him, but only if I agreed to have my memory wiped every time. But these were not good experiences. I was so filled with terror that I knew this had to be bad.
I thought maybe it was a dream. I tried so hard to wake up. I wanted desperately to wake up. It was at that moment that I realized that I had “fallen asleep” inside of the middle room and not my bedroom that day. I thought, “maybe if I can pull myself back into the middle room, I can find my body lying there and I can ‘jump’ back into my body and kind of like, wake up.”
I struggled for more than 30 minutes. My fingers were aching and my legs were hurting. It did not feel like sand and I did not have weakness. I had my full strength and was struggling the entire time there. I was slowly finally able to pull myself maybe 6 inches closer and was able to pull my body into the door frame. To my shock, my body was not lying there.
I wanted to desperately to “wake up.” I tried so hard to wake up. I kept pulling myself forward down the hallway and grabbed the side of my kitchen’s refrigerator (it is at the end of the hallway going into the kitchen). I grabbed it desperately and kept pulling forward. After a short while I became overwhelmed with fear.
I began screaming at the thing behind me. I didn’t look at its eyes. But I screamed at it. I begged it. I pleaded and cried and screamed and begged for my life. I was a slobbering mess and begged it to please stop torturing me. My fear and pain slowly turned to anger. I began disparaging the being. I said “why are you doing this to me?!” I demanded that it leave me alone. I said things like “what gives you the right to do this to people?!” I asked if it thought I was some kind of animal or that I didn’t have emotions and free will. Those are not all the exact words. I spoke in a combination of screamed words and thoughts. But it was mostly thoughts that was experienced. It only spoke back to me in thoughts.
As I waited there, He stood emotionless and didn’t say anything for a very long time.
I didn’t know if it was trying to save me or if it was trying to hurt me. I still don’t. After maybe an hour more of struggling, I pulled myself into the kitchen and could see the front door wide open in front of me. I don’t remember if I saw people outside or not. I can’t remember exactly anything beyond this. It was at that moment that I surrendered my body. I gave up. And I hoped to not remember any pain.
The next thing I know, I woke up in the bed in the middle room. I remember waking up FIRST, and then only after several seconds passed did I open my eyes. I pretended that I didn’t remember anything. I walked slowly out of the room and said out loud “what a weird dream.”
I went to the windows and looked outside and couldn’t find anyone or anything nearby. I stared at the sun coming through the blinds for a long time and could almost “feel” the being still in the hallway there.
I slowly went back to bed and pretended nothing happened. When I woke up again, I just kept on like nothing happened." HE
Update:
"This is the encounter that I can remember to the best of my ability. However, there were several paranormal events that took place in the weeks leading up to this event that I will discuss in-depth in the comments.
1). They include hallucinating conversations with two “aliens” that discussed with me in-depth the mechanisms of the universe and how the world works / what happens when you die.
2). In a second conversation, I hallucinated being told by an “alien” to get up in the middle of the night and write strange patterns on the walls in sharpie. They included an “M” with a very large protruding loop where the middle line is supposed to be. I knew not to write on the walls much less in sharpie, but I was convinced by these hallucinated thoughts that this was necessary and important to do. At the time when this happened, I thought that these were “angels” that were talking to me and I largely believed they were coming from my own subconscious and not outside of me. It was not until years after the “abduction” that I learned about “aliens” and later began to believe that what I encountered was an “alien” or “extra dimensional” encounter of some kind.
I have never experienced anything like this since.
I have never experienced “hallucinating voices” nor do I have any family history of such events. I am of sound mind and body. I do not currently suffer from any mental illness nor do I have any family history of mental illness. In the events that followed after this encounter, I began going to middle school and was extremely intellectually talented. I joined the gifted and talented program, performed well in school, later became valedictorian of my high school, and I was accepted to an Ivy League university that will remain unnamed to ensure my anonymity (first in my family to go to college).
I encourage your skepticism and do not wish to create any divisiveness or incite anger. I think this is a grandiose claim that is difficult to believe without evidence. I understand if you don’t believe me, because I barely believe me. These events have stuck with me for so many years,. Thank you for understanding. I am happy to answer any questions as honestly as I can and provide anonymized proof of what I can, when and where possible to corroborate any claims and given further evidence of these events." HE

Roswell Incident: Craft Occupants Investigation Update
A retired USAF special agent claimed that the Roswell Incident actually occurred, and that the occupants of the craft were initially taken to Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The 1947 Roswell UFO crash incident is considered, by many, as one of the widely acknowledged incidents in the history of UFO research. Many people still believe that it was the alien spaceship that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, but the US government covered the whole incident calling it a military program (Project Mogul).
USAF retiree Richard Doty claimed that the 4-foot aliens, who had been recovered from the spacecraft after it crashed in Roswell in 1947, were still alive but heavily injured.
In the 1980s, Doty served as a Special Agent for the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) based at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His job was to examine hoaxes and fake information about UFOs and extraterrestrial related news reported in the media and by the public. According to him, he tried everything possible to keep civilians away from the Roswell crash incident location and personnel involved.
But in 2017, Doty gave an interview during Netflix’s 'Unacknowledged' series, in which he admitted the UFO did crash in Roswell in 1947. He also said: “The craft was egg-shaped. It was not saucer-shaped and the interior did not have any levers, but there were also creatures found.” These creatures were about 4 feet tall and found within the craft. They had a human-like appearance. Doty then claimed the aliens were heavily injured in the crash and were taken to Kirkland Air Force Base. Since then, no one has seen them, and no one knows about their further fate.
Besides, in May 2001, Doty broke his silence over his role at Kirtland Air Force Base during the 1990s. He gave evidence at the National Press Club in Washington DC, telling that he had been involved in the alien investigations.
He also revealed in the 2017 series that he had been a counterintelligence officer at the base. Doty also said that he had studied the planned visit of extraterrestrials to Earth. However, Doty later claimed that the writer of the 'Unacknowledged' series, Mark Pilkington, wrongly depicted his role in the film.
NOTE: I have investigated the Roswell incident for over 30 years. From the evidence I have collected through interviews with former USAF 509th Bomber Wing personnel and civilian witnesses, Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM was the initial destination of the debris. As far as alien occupants and the location where they were taken, much of that is speculation. In 2014, I interviewed a retired USAF officer and a government contractor. Both acknowledged that 'biological material' from the Roswell craft may have initially been taken to a facility at Sandia Base near Albuquerque, NM, but are currently stored in a Florida military facility. My best guess is that the location is either Macdill AFB in Tampa, FL or Eglin AFB near Pensacola, FL. Lon

1965 UFO / Humanoid Encounter Mystery in Ridgewood, New Jersey
The following testimony was offered in reference to a UFO / humanoid sighting and encounter at Ridgewood, New Jersey elementary school on March 2, 1965:
"I testify the following was shared with me by Cathleen X who lived in West Milford NJ, but grew up in Ridgewood NJ. She died in July 2020, aged 64, and worked for the Bergen County government. I ran for town council in 2006, and Kathleen was on my campaign committee.
In the summer of 2007-08 at a campfire behind my home in Hewitt NJ, with Kathleen and her boyfriend, she shared this story with me. I was a minister in NYC for 5 years and have been a history teacher for 17 years. I have also been involved in campaigns against child labor, sweatshops, modern day slavery, and genocide in Sudan. I also have written 23 books.
A satellite flew over us and I said, "Look at the satellite...or is it?" Kathleen said, "I believe in UFO's. I believe West Milford, NJ is a portal entry for paranormal activity. When I was at elementary school in Ridgewood NJ, a saucer landed in the school yard and a small humanoid walked out. It flew away, and people from the Federal government came to our class, and asked us to not talk about what happened to anyone."
I do not know which Ridgewood elementary school. She would have been in elementary school from 1962-1966. I do not know the date (Later determined to be March 2, 1965), if it was Fall or Spring, what grade she was in, but she said it happened when she was an elementary student; and I believe Kathleen.
I share this in hope that someone reading it, who witnessed this saucer and humanoid, in Ridgewood NJ between 1962-66 may give further clarity as to what happened that day. I know there have been many playground visits in the U.S. and around the world reported."
NOTE: I have found that there were 3 separate UFO incidents investigated in Bergen County, NJ in 1965. A report was issued by the Paramus police department in July 1965 that involved intervention by USAF. If anyone has further information on this incident, please feel free to contact me. Thanks. Lon

In the early days of television in the Hawaiian Islands, one of the more popular programs was Betty’s Guest Book, aired on the CBS Honolulu affiliate KGMB-TV from 1 to 1:30 p.m. every Thursday. To those senior citizens that can still remember the program, there was an episode that dealt with the most controversial subject of flying saucers that stood out above all the rest. Airing on 27 January 1955, this is perhaps one of the more intriguing interviews ever conducted regarding the UFO phenomenon, insofar as it contains many revelations about the advanced civilizations that exist on other bodies in our own solar system. The guest was Riley Hansard Crabb (2 April 1912-20 January 1994), a prominent researcher of esoterica and the borderland sciences. The following, taken from Dr. Raymond A. Keller’s Venus Files, is Part II of an exact transcript of that program from the audio tape recording made at home off of the television set by Riley’s then second wife, Judy Crabb:
Riley Crabb: Oh, oh, on the screen!
Betty Smyser: There’s another one!

Riley: This flying saucer picture, Betty, was taken by George Adamski in December 1952, over Palomar Gardens in California. You see the shape is quite similar to the one Allingham photographed. There are differences. This one presumably came from Venus. We also have a sketch of the individual Adamski talked to.
Betty: Not a picture, but a sketch?
Riley: Because Adamski wanted to take of picture of the Venusian but was courteously refused. One of Adamski’s witnesses, who observed the spaceman through binoculars, drew the sketch afterward. There’s a picture of Adamski with his telescope and….

Betty: There it is!
Riley: Again, you see an almost completely covering spacesuit; however, there’s a wide belt and this individual wore shoes. He’s hatless and his hands are uncovered. He had long blond hair. There were differences. Yet if this spaceman’s hair were cut, he could pass for an Earth man easily, Betty.

Betty: Just like the man from Mars. You said that he wouldn’t have any trouble either. He might even be mistaken for an Englishman. Well now, Riley, if men like Allingham and Adamski have done such intensive research and these books are available to the public, what has our government doing about this?
Riley: Even more intensive research and spending millions of dollars.
Betty: Well, this information has not been released to the public, has it?
Riley: A little…. Not much, that’s true. But then our government has much scientific information which is not released to the public- atomic energy developments, for example; things which we have developed ourselves are not public knowledge.
Betty: Yes, that seems to me a different situation from flying saucers; if you’re going to have them landing all over the Earth and people seeing them and writing accounts of them, you’d think our government would tell us what it is doing to find out the origin of these flying saucers.
Riley: Betty, scientific developments since the start of World War II have been highly secret with all governments of the world. Obviously, the performance of these spaceships is the most fabulous scientific discovery of the Earth! If it could be obtained…. I believe that our government and all governments are trying to crack the secret of the propulsion and levitation used by these visitors. We’ll get into that briefly in Leonard Cramp’s book in a few moments.
Betty: We haven’t finished with Mr. Allingham’s book, have we?
Riley: No, we haven’t. Allingham’s interview with the Martian lasted about half an hour. When the spaceman indicated that he had to leave, Allingham asked for a ride in the saucer, but was turned down. The individual got into the ship and it took off. One reason for the comparatively poor quality of Allingham’s pictures is that it was February, late in the day in Scotland; and by 4 p.m., it was getting rather dark. Also, Allingham was only an amateur photographer. We’ve all taken pictures which were blurred, especially if we were nervous.
Betty (laughs): I would have been a nervous wreck. I wouldn’t have been there when the spaceship landed. I’m not that curious; or rather, I think that my fear would have overcome my curiosity. Of have I seen too many of these George Pal science fiction movies? You know, with these horrible monsters that come at you with green eyes? But apparently when it comes to the real McCoy, there doesn’t seem to be anything to fear.
Riley: I don’t see why there should be, Betty. Apparently, they fear us as much or more than we fear them. They do not want us to travel to other planets in our own spaceships until we learn to control ourselves. The space people would hate to see us spread our troubles and our wars to other planets in the solar system.
Betty: You mean, Riley, that until we can get along with all the other countries right here on Earth, we shouldn’t spread out?
Riley: Yes, because the Martian was concerned as to whether or not we had gotten to the Moon. Allingham indicated to him that it would probably be two or three years; but this didn’t seem to make the Martian feel any better.
Betty: Tell me, Riley, would you recommend this book to anyone who has just a slight curiosity about flying saucers? Or is it a technical book only for people like yourself?
Riley: No, Allingham writes in mostly one syllable words which are quite easy to understand; and I would recommend it as a general review of the subject. He was interested in flying saucers for a long time. He has one whole chapter in here on the Moon as a space station and such evidence as the astronomers have picked up, especially in the 19th century, for physical structures, manmade structures on the Moon which have since disappeared. Present-day astronomers are inclined to doubt what was seen in the 19th century because it isn’t there anymore. Allingham suspects the structures were taken down and moved around to the invisible side of the Moon.
Betty: Well, maybe I’ll borrow this from you and read it. You’re doing a very good job of convincing me.
Riley: I’d like to get into the technical side a little now, but not too deeply, ladies.
Betty: Well now, women are very much interested in this!
Riley: You might have noticed in Adamski’s picture of a saucer that it was concave-shaped underneath. In this book, Space, Gravity and Flying Saucers, Leonard Cramp speculates on…. Oh, there’s another picture by Adamski, a closer view showing the hollowness underneath…. And Cramp theorizes about an anti-gravity beam which is focused downward from the saucer, driving it away from the Earth, and the fact that something like an inverted ice cream cone effect has been seen at night by different observers. They have seen a mass of light, cone-shaped, coming down toward the Earth (Crabb sketches this on a pad for the benefit of the television camera). The pressure from this anti-gravity beam apparently ionizes particles in the air, causing them to glow. Well, obviously this is not a flying saucer. This glowing cone is a secondary effect. I have a slide on that, perhaps the next one. No, this picture is another by George Adamski, of a carrier or mother ship launching small scout saucers. This next picture is of two English boys, Stephen Darbyshire and Henry Meyer. Three days previous to Allingham’s experience, these boys picked up a picture of a flying saucer over Lake Coniston. I believe this is the next one. Yes, there it is. Again, the bell shape. This is a corroborating type of thing. There’s the bell shape that Messier talked about in 1777.
Betty: Are there any more of these? I believe we’d better run on to Mr. Cramp, before we run out of time.
Riley: Yes. There is that one of Mr. Cramp’s illustrations. Taking the Darbyshire photograph and making an orthographic projection onto a drawing board for proportion and analysis, he also does the same with one of Adamski’s and shows that the proportions are the same.
Betty (Another slide flashes across the screen): What’s that?
Riley: Oh, that one is just a speculative drawing by Leonard Cramp, a cutaway of what the interior of a little scout saucer might look like.
Betty: Might look like?

Riley: Yes, pure speculation. And there, there is the cone effect we were talking about. The other illustration with it is the familiar heel or crescent Moon effect.
Betty: And what is that?
Riley: What? Oh, that’s the title to CBS’ You Are There. That’s not mine.
(There is a burst of laughter from the cameraman and the floor director.)
Betty (laughs): No. That’s my producer, Dar Reed, having some fun with us.
Riley (laughing with her): That’s all right with me.
Betty: Well, it sounds to me like this book of Cramp’s is more technical. I think I’d rather read this one, A Flying Saucer from Mars, Riley. But tell me more about this man, Cramp, is he a great authority?
Riley: No, I wouldn’t say that. I don’t know that he has any scientific standing in England, outside of the fact that he is a member of the British Interplanetary Society. All this is speculation as to different means of lift and propulsion. Anyone interested in the subject and with a technical background would enjoy reading it, I feel. It’s not too difficult. I’m no scientist; and I’ve enjoyed it so far.
Betty: Now, Riley, you make talks around town on this subject. What sort of questions do people ask you? After you’ve talked, and you have been a convincing as you have been here on this show today, what sort of questions do you get?
Riley: One of the most common is, “Why are they here?”
Betty: Do you know the answer?
Riley: The answers that have been received by radio and by direct contact indicate that they are here because they are greatly concerned about our activity in nuclear fission. Apparently, they are afraid that the after effects of atomic explosions may spread to the solar system and disturb the orbits of the other planets. They may make some sort of atomic war, if we get one started. They might possibly demagnetize a whole city, stopping all electricity.
Betty: You mean that somebody from Mars or Venus sent this message to Earth?
Riley: Heavens, yes! Radio messages or signals have been received from outer space ever since we have developed radio receivers.
Betty: Well, how can….
Riley: We can’t always translate them.
Betty: That’s what I was going to say: How could they be translated or decoded?
Riley: Some messages have been in English. The (Dr. George Hunt) Williamson group in Arizona has received some messages in International Code, which translated readily into English, and some in voice. That book (A. C. Bailey and Dr. George Hunt Williamson, The Saucers Speak, Los Angeles, California: New Age Publishing, 1954) of messages is available to anyone who wishes to buy it.
Betty: And you believe all of this?
Riley: Well, it ties together, Betty. I’m convinced.
Betty: What do you think is going to happen? According to your information, these flying saucers have been sighted since 1777 and maybe even earlier. Why haven’t they come down in droves and made friends and what not?
Riley: One of the messages from outer space, which I read at my last lecture, indicated that they won’t land in America or elsewhere until the majority of the people are ready to receive them.
Betty: Do you think, then, that they are more advanced than we are?
Riley: They seem to be. Obviously, they are scientifically.
Betty: Yes, their flying saucers, oh my….
Riley: And it would seem that they have solved most of their social problems, the ones which still bother us.
Betty: You mean they don’t have wars?
Riley: Yes.
Betty: You know, this has been an all-male discussion. Has a woman ever come down in a flying saucer?
Riley: That is what Truman Bethurum claims. He was on TV not long ago, on You Asked for It, and told of meeting the crew of a saucer- it was so large- and the leader was a woman. Art Baker had a woman on the program made up like her.
(Truman Bethurum wrote a popular book about his encounter with the female saucer pilot, Aboard a Flying Saucer, Los Angeles, California: DeVorss and Company, 1954.)
Betty: And did she look like a plain woman, just like the man from Mars just looked like a plain man?
Riley: Yes.
Betty: Oh-h-h-h-h-h-h, Riley. I wish we had more time to go on; but perhaps you could come back again some time.
Riley: Possibly when we have new material, Betty?
Betty: Yes, or when one has landed in Hawaii.
Riley: Well, we are considering building a communications device of our own. If we get some messages, we’ll be glad to relay them over your program.
Betty: Well, fine. Perhaps we will have Riley Crabb back again. And Riley, I do want to thank you. Now, I am afraid it’s time to sign off our show. Do come back and see us again.
Riley: I will. And thank you, Betty.

Winged Humanoid Seen Voraciously Feeding in Aurora, Illinois Woods
An Aurora, Illinois resident observed a dark brown skinned winged humanoid, with glowing yellow-orange eyes, voraciously feeding on a rabbit in a local wooded area.
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
"Hello, I've been wanting to tell you my story ever since I've seen your page. I had a encounter with the winged bat humanoid creature about 14 years ago. When I was driving my car in the east side of Aurora, IL.
I was driving to a friend's house with two of my other friends. They did not see it because they where on there phones. But I seen it very clearly.
It was around 7:00 PM dusk time. The encounter happened on the corner of Pierce and Wood St. by a bridge. As I was driving on Pierce St. turning onto Wood St. I seen what I thought was a human eating something on the ground wildly not to far in the trees. It really caught my eye as I got closer. I stared harder at the person thinking it was a bum that lived in the woods. But the way it was eating was voracious and when I seen what it was eating it scared me. It had a rabbit in its hands, eating the neck with blood pouring out. It was crazy! I drove very slowly. I couldn't take my eyes off it. My head lights where shinning straight into its face. It had pointed ears, brown burned ripped-like skin, sharp pointed teeth, glowing orange yellow eyes. Pointed long fingers with pointed nails. And was as big as a human.
With my lights shining in its face it looked up and was blinded. The first reaction was to put its hand in front of its face to block the light. I continued to stare in shock as it looked though its fingers and stared back into my eyes. Once it acknowledged that I was staring at it, it squared up its shoulders and two wide wings unfolded out behind it. Brown and thin almost, exactly like a bat. And then with one swoop of its wings it flew into the sky, leaving me in disbelief. I stopped and looked up but was not about to get out of my car. I drove off scared of what I just encountered yelling at my friends if they had seen that. It all happened within about 15-20 seconds but it felt like slow motion to me, because of all the detail I could see.
Very scary. I didn't report it because people would think I'm crazy. It sounds crazy. After these 14 years I finally started seeing reports of other people seeing it too. I knew I wasn't crazy and I know what I saw.
