Unknown Human-Like 'Screams & Growls' Heard in South Central Wisconsin
A summer camp staff member recalls frightening human-like screams & growls that he and others heard late at night in south central Wisconsin. Mutilated deer and other animals have all been found.
I recently found the following account:
"In the summer I work at a camp in Janesville, Wisconsin. The cabins that staff sleep in have screen windows and screen doors, meaning you can hear everything going on outside of the cabins. I had left my cabin around 11:00 pm to go shower with my bunk mate. We got back to our cabin around 12:30 am. She crawled into her bed and fell asleep but my ADHD kept me up so I put my earbuds in on a low volume so I wouldn’t wake her.
Around 1 am I thought I heard a fox screaming or coyotes in the distance so, me being the nature lover, I want to hear it. I get up and stand by the door. I love listening to coyotes and foxes in the distance. I soon went back to bed. But around 1:30 am I heard this human-like high pitched screaming that continued for no more than 15 seconds before turning into a deep growl mixed with screeching. This went on for about 30 seconds all in one continuous breath, not spaced out at all like a fox or coyote. I know distance when it comes to sounds especially and it couldn’t have been more that 30 feet from the cabins.
Now when I tell you this sent shivers down my spine and woke me up like I had just drank 12 cups of coffee it freaked me out. I sat straight up in my bed expecting to see something at my door staring at me, but nothing. Then this loud thumping like horse galloping running on what sounded like two legs instead of four running quickly the other direction away from the cabins. I got up and bolted the door so quickly even though screen doors and windows a bolt wouldn’t have done much but it made me feel safe. I thought I was going nuts until my friend in the cabin next to me whispered, “Hey. Did you hear that to?!” As the cabins are quite close together. With panic in his voice that’s how I knew I wasn’t dreaming. I don’t know if anyone else heard it as a lot of the guys are heavy sleepers and my bunkie slept with earplugs in.
I’ve been trying to figure out exactly what it was for the rest of the summer, but because of poison ivy running rampant myself nor anyone else could check for footprints the area the noise had come from. I was going to set up a trail cam in the area where the noise had come from but summer 2020 camp didn’t run cause of attendee numbers so I was unable to get out there at all last year to set it up. This all happened in summer 2019
For the past five years I’ve worked there now. We have found a lot of absolutely shredded deer carcasses, turkeys and other smaller animals.
I’ve been trying to figure out what the hell I heard that night because it has haunted me for a while now because there is no way it was any animal I’ve heard before." T
NOTE: This is a region (Rock County - south central Wisconsin) where there have been a number of upright canine sightings and encounters. This is also within the area of which winged humanoids have been reported. Lon

Creepy Unexplained Humanoid Incidents & Sightings
Various accounts of sightings or incidents with unknown humanoids of different descriptions and characteristics. Are these beings 'evil' or simply curious?
The following accounts were collected by me:
"This happened in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan in winter 2015. It was around Christmas time so we had lots of snow and it was very cold. My dad was driving my sister and I to the small city that we live near. It was only 6pm but it was already dark. We only live about ten minutes out of town so it's not like we were in the middle of nowhere, however the two lane highway is unlit and very dark.
I was in the back seat, my younger sister in the passenger. Suddenly I notice something in the headlights. Something ran across the road in front of us. It was so fast my dad didn't have time to brake or react and then it was gone. "What the heck?" My dad's eyes widened. I couldn't believe what I'd seen, it was almost dog-like or maybe more like a deer, but certainly wasn't either of those things. It was a dark blur. It looked like a lanky humanoid but with very long limbs and ran on four legs. It was about the size of a large dog or small deer, but its front and back legs bent like a human's arms and legs. I was too stunned to say anything, all I could think was 'what the f*ck did I just see?'.
My younger sister looked at my dad and then me, her mouth wide open. "You guys saw that too?" She asked. I nodded, eyes wide. We spent the rest of the drive feeling uneasy, my dad speeding faster than he usually does. I was so relieved when the first street lights appeared in the city limits. We still bring it up to this day, still as confused and spooked as when we saw it." D

"It all started last summer. I sleep with my window open, but it has a screen on it. So it was around 11:30 pm. Well, I heard something moving outside in the trees about 50 yards away, I originally thought it was a coyote, rabbit, or something small like that. I looked out and couldn’t see anything because it was 11:30 pm, so I grabbed a flashlight off my night stand and aimed it out there and turned it on. Nothing. Well that was the case until I aimed the flashlight to the left and up.
About maybe 9 feet off the ground was this thing...like, I don't know how to describe it. It was like a naked guy or something. It didn’t look like a human though. I really don’t know how to explain it. It just looked like a naked homeless guy but something was off about its face and arms. Its arms were skinny as hell.
Well, once it could sense light was shining on it, it’s eyes reflected green and jumped down and ran off in a field next to my house. I was like WTF. I’m going to sleep, and that’s exactly what I did. Yeah, I was tired, but not that tired that I was imagining what I saw." CB

"I live in the UK and used to live in a nice area just outside of York. It was sort of in the countryside but not. There was always this one part of the woods that just gave of weird vibes, unexplainable and the feeling you shouldn’t be there.
One day me and a few friends thought it would be a good idea to go to the “spot” as we referred to it and get set up a tent and have a good time. It probably got to around 1 am and being tired, I decided to just walk home since I lived 10 minutes away. I remember I left by myself, and started on the path home. The area where we had set up was wooded, a lot of high bushes and a good mile away from any house. I remember walking down the path, flash light on my phone shining the way, when I felt what I can only describe as pure fear. It felt like my whole body was telling me I had to leave this area as fast as I could, or else I was going to end up dead.
Anyway, I started running, as fast as I could, and I could hear what sounded like galloping running behind me. I couldn’t see it, but I could feel it was getting closer to me and I was in danger. I managed to get to the clearing which was about 100m near the main road, and as soon as I got there, I quickly turned around to see what was chasing me and I remember seeing this tall, pale, bony creature standing still at the top of the clearing, watching me. It must have been 8 ft, and had these massive eyes that reflected the light. I never told anyone what I saw, because I knew no one would believe me, and every time I walked past the clearing I felt I was being watched.
However, a few years later, my friend and I where discussing paranormal events. I told him what had happened and we decided to go there (it was during the day and light). We got to the area, and ventured in deeper, only complaining we got a weird vibe but nothing to be concerned about. However, as we got deeper we came across what can only be described as a tunnel of trees that lead to a round clearing with a single tree growing in the middle. Nothing else. All other vegetation was dead. As we started to walk through the “tunnel” what can only be described as a face appeared through the vegetation starting at us. We both got a good look at it, and we saw a long sunken face, with large jet black eyes starting at us with slits for a nose. We both bolted and got the f*ck out of there.
To this day we haven’t spoken about it and I just want to know what it was. Somehow I know it was watching and observing, it was definitely predatory, and it is a thing of pure evil, I can feel it." PP

'Human-Faced' Dog Encountered on Southwest Virginia Mountain
A group of friends drive and hike to the top of a mountain in the Clinch ridge in southwest Virginia. They hear strange 'drumming' sound and encounter a dog with a human female face.
The following account was found on social media:
"Back in 1998 or 1999, a few friends and I went out on Halloween riding the old backroads around here.
There is a very large mountain range near us, near Nickelsville, Virginia (Clinch Mountain ridge). It's a really small town around there, maybe 300 or so people. No stores, just a stop sign. It's a huge range and some places have never seen human.
We decided to go up to the old fire spotting tower in the middle of the night because we were young, dumb and full of bravado. We made our way up, it's about a 35 min drive, and rough hike to get to the top. There was a serious uneasiness in the air. Like that feeling before a storm. Just surreal.
On our way up we felt like we were being watched. This place is known to have devil worshipping going on, seen plenty of evidence. One of the guys up front did have a pistol with him so we felt safe at that point. About half way up we spotted a small dog, no specific breed, just kind of a mutt. He/she had a bandanna around its neck, red.
We made our way up further, we rolled our windows down and could hear a very faint drumming. Almost like a heart beat, bum-bum, bum-bum. It was strange. I've been up there over a dozen times and I've never heard anything like it. I've seen plenty of carvings and other things but never heard this before.
We got to the top and got out to walk the remaining couple hundred yards to the top and made it, uneventfully. We did notice the drumming or whatever noise was much clearer there. We smoked probably half a pack each up there over the course of an hour, hour and a half. It started getting very chilly so we decided to head back down the way we came.
We got back to the car, and it was quiet, really damn quiet. No noise, no nothing. Silence. We started driving back down, the drive down you got to go slow, you'll go off the damned side of the mountain of your going to quick. The driver pointed off to the side and we saw what looked like torches or flashlights. They were a good 500 yards or more into the brush. I've been up and down that mountain many times. There is no road there.
We kept going and we got about 1/4 the at down and we saw that dog again. It kept getting closer. I swear on my life, my mother's life and everything I hold dearly, this dog had the face of an old woman. It got closer, closer and closer. We all saw it. It just kept looking at us. This old ladies face was on the dog's body. I can't describe it any other way.
We got out of Dodge real quick. We started hearing the drumming again and that was it. We made it home, shook up like crazy. That mountain is home to things we don't know about. I've heard laughter that was mixed with a horse, I've heard women screaming and have felt the ground shake from rumbling. It was insane. I don't go out there as often as I used too but I've never went hunting there again." RC
NOTE: The Clinch Mountain ridge extends south into Tennessee and has a strange history. I've received reports of upright canines over the years, as well as other unexplained activity. As far as occult practices, there is a well-known folk medicine tradition throughout the Appalachians. Lon

In Riley’s Flying Saucers Uncensored, the ufologist noted that, “The owners of the multi-billion-dollar oil industry must be shaking in their boots right now.” The Hawaii-to-California transplant understood that the power structure behind these mega corporations was based on well-defined, well-understood, profitable uses of both chemical and thermodynamic terms. After Riley lectured on the subject of flying saucers at the Masonic Temple in Cleveland, Ohio, in the spring of 1963, a young, handsome, managerial-type junior executive and engineer rushed up to the podium asking him if he could quickly view the UFO slides from the beginning. The eager young fellow apologized for having been unavoidably detained earlier in the evening and wondered if it would be OK for Riley to rerun the slide show for him. Riley, always ready to help another arrive at a satisfactory understanding of cosmic concepts, ran through the slides again.
To Riley’s surprise, the young man debunked all of the alleged UFO photographs, explaining them all away very rationally. He described Riley’s pictures as “either fakes, photographs of natural objects misinterpreted, or light aberrations in the lens of the camera.”
Riley was somewhat miffed at the belligerent attitude of the young executive. “What makes you such an expert on UFO photograph identification?” Riley Crabb wanted to know.
“I’m an engineer for the Standard Oil Company of Indiana,” replied the gentleman as he handed Riley his business card.
“Oh, I see,” said Riley, adding, “Well, how come Standard Oil is all of the sudden so interested in flying saucers?”
Smiling easily, the young executive replied, “We’re interested in all kinds of things, Mr. Crabb.” He also volunteered that, “We even have a satellite tracking station of our own.”
Of course, for 1965 it was quite impressive that a private concern like Standard Oil of Indiana would have its own space program, regardless of just how “minor league” it may have seemed at the time. Riley suggested with a hint of laughter, “For picking up an occasional flying saucer, too?”
The young man chuckled, but failed to confirm or deny anything with regard to Riley’s question, thereby leaving more unanswered questions than before they started their conversation.
With that, Riley continued in his same vein of asking similar questions. “I suppose you would be keenly interested in some radical new source of power, such s that apparently demonstrated by the UFOs.”
“We certainly would,” Riley replied, also reconciling in his own mind that playing ball with the oil company executive might be the key to greatly expanding human awareness of Earth’s place in the galactic communion of life forms. There was definitely more that this gentleman knew about the flying saucer mystery, and Riley was persistent enough in his attempts to pry more information about of him while he still had the chance.
Of his meeting with this controversial young oil engineer, Riley opined that, “That was about all he said. But I knew, and he knew, that a cheap, radical new source of power would make the gasoline engine obsolete! It would take care of the smog problem, too! Of course, you people here in San Francisco don’t have smog! Only in Los Angeles!
“By the way, Standard Oil of Indiana is one of the most profitable properties belonging to the Roman Catholic Church. Thus, we see that there are both business and religious reasons why flying saucers are not welcome in the skies of the United States.”
Riley really picked up a hot potato with his flying saucer talk. He wondered whether he should continue with it, for if he was going to take that route, he had better prepare himself for an encounter with the mysterious “Men in Black,” the ones he had heard so much about in UFO circles. After he had given this same presentation in San Jose, California, two space age technicians approached him and wanted to take a look at his notes on “Rockets and Missiles,” the ones reviewing Murtaugh’s controversial Detroit, Michigan, talk.
One of the young men informed Riley that, “We can scarcely believe it. Frankly, I am surprised that this was even published.” The other mumbled something about the German rocketeer, Wernher von Braun, wondering what he knew about the source of power for the flying saucers.
Riley subsequently learned that just a few days before his own appearance in San Jose, von Braun was in nearby San Francisco for a meeting of space scientists speaking on the staggering costs of sending a manned rocket flight to Mars by 1982. At that time, in 1965 the gross national product of the United States was around $700 billion. Wernher von Braun surmised that if the value of our annual national output continued to increase at its present rate, then the projected $200 billion cost for a manned Mars mission would put no greater strain on the overall economy in 1982 than the projected $40 billion would be for the manned Apollo Moon landing then scheduled to take place five years hence in 1970.
But insofar as conventional rocketry was concerned, Riley felt that, “We’ve gone about as far as we can go with the use of burning gases. This is what rockets use. This is what our automobiles use, and it is a real money barrier. Yet, if we are going to continue to progress and grow as a nation, we must have definite goals for the exploration of space beyond 1970.”
Therefore, while Riley did not disagree with von Braun insofar as the United States expanding its space program beyond the Moon in the years following 1970, he was decidedly of the opinion that more economical and viable sources of propulsion needed to developed and implemented for the success of future space missions to the other planets of the solar system and further out to other solar systems. Riley continued, “The old ways have got to go if we are going to grow! And one thing which has helped to shake up the thinking of orthodox science is the flying saucer. As these UFOs have zipped across our skies at fantastic speeds, smug self-satisfaction has been rudely disturbed in many places.

"I was talking to my sister yesterday, who had an encounter in Mcintosh, Alabama on Fairford Rd. Just to give you a brief description of what she gave me, it was sitting on the side of a road in a heavily wooded area. It ran towards the car. the car was approaching at a 50 to 60 miles an hour and it had the speed to keep pace with the car. It almost grabbed their bumper.
A brief description of this cryptid, size of a giant dog. The head is long and thin. She did not see ears. The teeth were large and she could see them when it opened it's mouth to snap at the bumper. She said it had a very long skinny tail, definitely canine features. The body was white. If it had fur, it was short fur. The eyes, there was not any reflection in the eyes. They did not pick up light. This was an evening encounter. She said it looked like an unnatural being. She also said that the legs in the back were longer and curved almost like a kangaroo's. The front legs were shorter and it was using its front legs to pull itself forward as it ran towards the car and gained on them. They did make an escape." SM

"I live in a, rural area in Michigan close to the lake. I am currently living alone, both my parents are currently in Canada taking care of my great uncle who in his late 80s. They have been gone for a month or so, and probably won’t be back until late December. I am 19, so more then old enough to be alone,
But some really odd things have been happening in the last two weeks. It started back in September when my 15-year-old cat Gingersnap went missing,
At first I figured she had passed away, since she was very old and had a few health problems already,
A few days later I found her body completely torn to shreds on my back porch. I mean she was severely mutilated. I came to the conclusion that I must’ve been a bird of prey, since we have big owls and hawks were I live,
A few days passed and on October the 4th something odd also happened. I was watching TV around 11 pm, and I kept hearing a really fast knocking sound. It would come in sets of five and then stop for a second then restart. I ended up going outside to investigate and I couldn’t see anyone, but there was a really horrible smell,
Then what happened last night. I had waken up at like 3 am, which happens sometimes if I had a really messed up dream. So I walked down the hall to get a drink and probably watch TV. I got to the fridge, which is right next to the back porch door. I heard someone walking around. I froze up and stay completely still. I looked over to the door and saw a huge shadow. It was kind of crouched on its hands. I don’t really think it saw me but it looked human. It didn’t move for like a whole 3 minutes before the shadow moved in the blink of a eye. It was just gone. I ran back to my room and called the cops,
When they got there they couldn’t find anything. I am super freaked out no especially since I am completely alone up here." S

"I live in Molino, Florida next to swamp lands. I just recently started getting back into the paranormal after a 14 year sabbatical. I also just moved back here a year ago to take care of my elderly mother. Anyway, I've seen things here of different varieties when I was younger but right now I need some advice on how to at least get a good look at the "animal" that's been doing it's damnedest to basically stalk me when I go outside at night.
I recently watched the videos of night crawlers. What struck me first and foremost was the sounds they make. I had heard those exact same sounds for years coming from the swamps. Both I and my mother have been outside at night and had our names called and we've both seen an extremely white figure by our garage. At the time we chalked it up to ghosts. It was the noisiest the day before the full moon to the day after. But I've noticed it enjoys trying to frighten me. It's also terrified of light or at least up to now.
I sit by the garage at night to have a cigarette or two and it primarily chitters. Sounds like it's moving around, climbing the fence, it never seems to stay in one place for long but just seems to keep moving in a roughly circular pattern. I have seen the "animal" out of the corner of my eye. Bright white shape at least 6 or 7 feet off the ground looking at me from around the garage corner. When I turned to look, It shot back and you could hear a large animal running away as fast as it could. Fallen leaves and twigs are a godsend. Just last night I could hear the chittering from my bedroom followed by a loud thumping sound against the brick and later a tapping on the window." B

"I was heading to work in Springfield, Missouri on Highway 65 at about 4:30 in the morning and I was zoning out. I was in the left lane of a two lane highway because of a parked car on the side of the highway. As I started passing the car, something caught my eye coming straight at me from the median on the left side. I got a brief look at a humanoid creature running on all fours (not with that awkward run that people do when they try to run on all fours, more like a deer when it runs). It had long arms and long legs and was very skinny. It looked like a 6-7 foot tall Gollum from the Lord of the Rings movies. I can’t be sure if it was a dark color on top and a pale color underneath because I only saw it for about 5 seconds. It looked straight at me as the car was about to hit it but it disappeared right when I got to where it was." H

Tall Dark Emaciated Green-Eyed Humanoid Encountered in Upstate New York
A group of friends encounter a tall green-eyed blackish-skinned humanoid while driving at night in a small upstate New York town.
I came across the following account in social media:
"This took place in 2007, and I was young but even after all these years, I cannot figure out what the heck I saw. I truly have only told very few people because I fear them labeling me a nut.
I am in upstate New York, and we were driving at night in a rural town. This was a little town we drove around in often, so we knew our way around, and we knew shortcuts. On this night, we wanted to go to a party, and we chose to take a shortcut. NOTE: we were not inebriated at all. Ultimately that was the goal of the night. This kind of messed those plans up.
There was a small side street, where you could turn left into a one lane tunnel to cut to the main road. At the end of the street is a lettuce field, which runs parallel to a visible railroad track behind it. There is a pole, with a circular mirror pointing at the tracks, I assume for maintenance workers. This mirror is ten feet off the ground.
As we pull up to turn into the the tunnel, we stopped a moment as were just talking, and we looked forward towards the field. I don't know what happened honestly, but there was this tense silence and fear that came over us, and we saw this slouched creature, almost squatting, and just stared. At that point, it was crouched down and easily we could've thought it was maybe a deer or bear? But it turned its head, looked at the car, and it eyes widened in surprise. They reflected green like cat eyes, but huge?
It stood up and that's when we realized it had two legs, and could see its shape. Someone whispered "turn the high beams on" and when we did, I was so afraid I couldn't even scream. It was very tall, easily 8 or 9 feet, standing up but its spine was still visible as it was skinny, and it walked hunched over. You could even see hip bones in its shadow.
Thing is, it seemed terrified, as terrified as we were. It took off straight and ran into the woods, so we went flying through the tunnel so we could get parallel and maybe catch another glimpse-but it was gone. Like we had scared it off. The whole drive ended. We went home. I tried to make jokes about it being "anorexic sasquatch", but it didn't change the feeling we felt. Just absolutely shaken. It was like that moment of fear zapped energy from us." FE
The witness stated later:
"It was almost black-skinned, even as it began to run in front of the high beams. It also appeared hairless, although I didn't rule out maybe some body hair. Its features were difficult to make out past the eye shine, but I almost want to say human-ish? I perceived its expression as afraid, but it was literally just a gigantically tall very thin almost emaciated creature. Its head was round with no snout, but also fairly large. I wish I'd have gotten even closer but I was so terrified and the encounter felt like we BOTH interrupted one another." FE

One Man's 'Weird' Experiences: Upright Canine, Strange Old Guy & Malevolent Entity
One man's personal weird experiences are documented by his son, including an upright canine, strange man in the woods and a fire-starting malevolent entity.
I recently received the following account:
"My dad used to haul stuff all around the woods in northwest Ohio. He always tells me stories about things he’s seen. One night he was driving, going about 65mph, when a gray colored 'thing' ran past his truck (so that means it was going over 65mph) and he says it was some kind of animal. I asked if it was a cougar? No. He says it wasn’t a cat-like animal, rather wolf-like / dog-like. Leave it at that, and it’s still creepy. An oversized wolf running that fast? (Sorry I don’t know how fast they can run but I believe that’s usually faster than normal?) but it only got weirder from there. He says he definitely remembers it running on 2 legs. WTH kind of animal looks like a wolf, runs on two legs, and runs faster than 65 mph. He says he was very tired when it happened, but it’s still very creepy and he probably tells himself that to not scare himself. I don’t know what to make of “Bigfoot,” although I’ve never really read up on it. But I still wonder what kind of thing he could have saw out there.
This is another story he told me:
He was driving (fast) with a bunch of his friends down River Road in Tiffin Ohio. Many people have died on this road and if you look it up you might find some stuff. He says he saw a kind of light up ahead on the side of the road, so he slowed down a bit. He and his 3 friends looked over to see an older man in overalls walking through the woods / farm (I don’t know the specifics I just know it was in the middle of nowhere) and he was holding a lantern. This was at about 2 AM. This isn’t really chilling, but I just wonder what this man was doing out there so late at night. My dad says when he thinks of someone burying a body, he thinks of that man. I just know on that road many people see ghosts, and I wonder if he was one.
Years before this, still in northwest Ohio, he lived in a trailer park (on a little lot with a trailer on it). Meeting his neighbors, and just knowing the area he found out that every single trailer ever put on that lot had burnt to the ground. Kind of sounds like a weird curse, but he’s not lying. The park doesn’t even open that lot to people anymore because of it. When he was in the living room with a bunch of friends (so not just him experienced it) randomly his kitchen table (made of completely metal) caught on fire. Not a little spark, like randomly ignited in flames, burnt a huge hole in the middle of the table. Freaked him out for awhile. His lights would flicker, I mean that could just be electrical issues.
He was a tractor trailer driver. When he left for the week, he would leave the outside light on, with all the rest of the lights off. He would walk to the end of his driveway, and look back and the outdoors light would be off, and the bathroom light would be on. He would walk back, only to see that the actual switch had been flipped, so it wasn’t an electrical issue. This happened every single time he left, and his friends are witnesses and all have seen it happen.
One night he and his friends were drinking, and when they got up in the morning sober, all the bottles were stacked in a triangle on the counter. That could just be his friends messing with him, but not the rest. He also would see things in his bathroom mirror, and he says that place was evil. Some ghosts are not harmful, but he felt very unwelcome there. My dad slept on the couch, but his roommate slept in the back bedroom and told him he felt like something was pushing him down in the bed. A year after he left that place as soon as he could, it burnt to the ground." AJ

Ominous Encounters With Black-Eyed Kids
3 separate accounts of ominous encounters with black eyed kids in Virginia, Colorado and Winnipeg. Two of the accounts were more recent. What do these BEKs really want?
The following accounts were recently forwarded to me:
"It's 11:30 at night, in the middle of June 2020, and I'm in my house alone with my dog. I live in Virginia Beach, VA. I was reading about BEK's and was pretty shook already. I've heard rumors that if you know about them they come and visit you.
I was sitting on my living room couch when I hear 2 knocks at the front door. My dog immediately hopped up on the couch with me and started trembling. I got startled and hesitantly walked to the front door. My door has 2 slim windows on each side of it so I looked out through the right window and saw 2 kids. One looked really small, like he was 5, and the other kid looked at least 9. They were both wearing winter clothes. (Keep in mind that it's the middle of June). I tried to look at their faces but my porch light wasn't working for some reason. They were just staring at the door. I was staring at them for at least 20 seconds when they both look at me through the window on the door. I could then see that they had black eyes from the ambient light from the window.
I run back to my couch and try to be as quiet as I can and don't make any noise. I hear 2 knocks again and hear, "Sir, Let us in. Me and my brother are very hungry and tired." I just about scream because I have no idea how they know I am a man. I waited 10 seconds then I hear, "Let us in. We have to call our mom." I waited about a minute and I hear pounding on my window, and one of the kids say, "Let us in." in a demanding manner.
It has been at least 2 minutes, and I think they are gone until I hear my backyard gate sling open. I then hear pounding on my back sliding door. I run upstairs and lock myself in my bedroom with my dog. They kept pounding for at least a half hour. The pounding stopped and I put headphones on and tried to sleep through it when they come back. I never saw them since." KA

This story was told to me by my mother. It was in the middle of snow storm in Colorado. There was a knock at the front door. The women living at the house answered the door and saw 2 young boys looking down at their feet. She asked them if they had been in an accident because she figured the only reason someone would be banging on her door in the middle of a blizzard was if it was an emergency. They said yes, and that "their parents would be there soon." She let them in. She sat them down in the living room and asked if they wanted cocoa or something, but they wouldn't talk to her anymore. Just sat there in silence. Then she noticed one of them had black eyes. Now, she was on edge.
Her husband came out to the living room and they all sat around not talking. She asked them if there was someone she could call for them. Then one of them said "our parents have arrived" and I think there was a car parked outside that had just showed up, and then they just left.
The lady and her husband both got really sick that day, and I think they originally thought they both had food poisoning but the husband ending up dying not long later; he had a cancerous tumor that suddenly grew. There was no further information." OL

"This happened in July 2019 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was 10 pm and me, my mother and brother were sitting watching TV when out of the blue we heard a knock at the door. It was three knocks. Not too loud but not too quiet either. Just loud enough for us to hear. We looked at each other confused, as we weren't expecting anyone and we never have anyone come to our door at that time of night. So to us, this was odd. Also, we don't have a doorbell, but we have a letterbox on our door, so it wasn't unusual for people to usually chap the letterbox. A knock at the door felt strange to us.
My brother said he would answer it, so he got up and as he made his way down the hallway. Whoever it was knocked three times again. Then we heard our next door neighbour's door also being knocked on.
I live in a small apartment complex, on the top floor (4th). There is only two apartments on each floor, each directly facing across from the other. It's a very small landing. There are only stairs and no elevators.
My brother opened the door and (this was as we heard the neighbour's door being knocked) there was no one there. Literally no one was there.
Our neighbours keep to themselves and are not very sociable (which is fine, I guess). I got up and was looking out onto the landing with my brother but there was silence and we checked - no one was there. We would have heard and seen them as there wouldn't have been enough time for them to make an escape.
We could hear our neighbours looking out of their peephole. I think they surely seen my confusion and my brother's confusion when we were talking about who could have knocked our door, so I think their suspicion that we may have knocked their door was quickly gone. Plus they never ever confronted us or asked us about it, also we barely see them anyway.
My brother and I started to just feel really weird about the whole situation and went back inside.
It was definitely not our next door neighbours who knocked our door, as we would have heard their door opening and closing, not to mention the fact we heard their door being knocked as we opened ours.
Not long after that, I overheard another neighbour tell a maintenance man that they saw 2 young girls with black eyes walking around the complex that same night. They had confronted the neighbour as they were walking down the steps as he was walking up to his apartment. They looked at him with their black eyes but remained emotionless and didn't say anything.
It wasn't too long ago I even found out about BEKs and it really freaked me the hell out to think." CH
