Giant Hooded Upright Canine Encountered in Virginia Beach, VA
A woman and her brother where out driving late at night in Virginia Beach, VA when a extremely tall upright canine in a hood and cape bounded across the road in font of them.
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
"10 or so years ago I was driving with my brother in Virginia Beach, VA. It was late at night and we were going to grab some food. We were the only car on this road (Oceana Blvd. near Ocean Naval Air Station) which wasn’t abnormal due to the time of night. The right side of the road was wooded with trees and on the left was a fence that ran parallel to the road.
A giant upright wolf-like creature ran full speed in front of the car. It came from the right wooded area and was booking it towards the fence. This thing was at least 12 feet tall minimum. It was hunched over running insanely fast on it’s back legs. The legs were bent backwards and extremely muscular. The only way I could describe it was they were bent backwards in a way that demon legs are depicted. The legs were furless except for near the bottom where there were patches of fur. It was wearing a brown hooded cloak that was tattered along the bottom edges. The hood covered it’s head and midsection leaving the legs fully exposed. Some sort of elongated snout was emerging from the front of the hood. It was square like a wolf’s and had fur. The thing never turned to look at us. It was running towards the fence, jumped and cleared it. I have never seen anything jump so high.
I spent the next couple of moments trying to process what I saw. I thought there was some kind of logical explanation, until my brother said “did you see that?” And described in detail exactly what I had seen. The only thing that differed was he saw what he described as long claws emerging from the front of the cloak.
Seeing this “thing” terrified me. 10 years later I am still terrified. Any ideas of what it was?" M
Update: The cloak and the backwards legs were something I really focused on. The cloak was cloth and I am certain it wasn’t fur or anything else." M
NOTE: This part of southeast Virginia (Peninsula) was dominated by the Powhatan people for centuries. Not sure of any upright wolf-like beings in their culture, but this particular region is known for other cryptids and unexplained activity. Lon

Location. Suwannee, Georgia
Date: June 15 2007 Time: 02:00 a.m.
A six year old girl told her mother that she had had a nightmare during the night. She told her mother that she had been in a room with a giant “hornet”, but it wasn’t a hornet but more like a mixture of a cricket and hornet. “Like a praying mantis thing, but taller.” She also said that there were other creatures “shorter, like three and a half feet tall.” These didn’t look like insects but didn’t look like people either. She described them as having very black eyes. She also noticed that the shorter creatures were wearing shoes/boots “like the kind a basketball player wears.” She recalls lying down while they put some sort of tube or instrument in her ears, she also said that it was the reason for the “bad taste in her mouth.” At this point she started to resist and she said she fought off two of them, and then woke up on her bed.

Location. Catalina Island, California
Date: 1967 Time: evening
12-year old Paul Nelson (pseudonym) was visiting the island with his parents. Also along was Paul’s best friend, Michael. The two boys decided to go inside their boat and read some new comic books. Suddenly, however, they both experienced an episode of missing time. Their next memory was of waking up the next morning. While Paul was unable to convince his parents that anything unusual had happened, both Paul and his friend knew that the event was strange. Two weeks later, Paul was alone in his Reseda California home when he had another strange experience. He was alone in his room when the door began to rattle. He jumped up and threw it open. To his shock, he saw the shadow of a small figure running down the hallway. He chased after it, but found nothing. Paul didn’t know how to explain these experiences and didn’t connect it to the UFO phenomenon. Many years later now married and a doctor Paul underwent hypnosis to recover his lost memories. As Paul underwent regression, his first surprise was that he was not aboard a UFO, but instead appeared to be in underground base. Paul says he was taken to a round walled room. It seemed to him that it was more of an underground facility than onboard a ship. The walls had kind of rock-like facet to them. And he was lying on a rock-like table. It gave the impression that he was in a cavern rather than in a ship. Under hypnosis Paul recalled his friend Michael nearby, also being examined. His next surprise was that the beings were not what he expected. The beings were not the “typical” grays; they were more like the “Praying Mantis” type. They were slightly bigger than the grays and a little more Insectoid-like. They wore tight-fitting uniforms. There was even a color to them but he couldn’t recall what the color of the tight-fitting jump-suit like things. He thinks that there was one in the group that wore a tunic-like outfit, more loosely fitting over it. He couldn’t tell how tall they were since he was lying on his back. But they didn’t look particularly tall.

Location. Wielkopolska province, Poland
Date: 2001 Time: evening
A 23-year old woman was camping in the area and one evening was walking along a forest on a long meadow on her way to her tent when she noticed a bizarre creature standing by a nearby lake. The creature made a movement as if picking something up from the ground. It then apparently heard the witness approach and quickly disappeared from sight. The witness stood literally petrified as she watched the creature standing only 8 meters from her. She feels that the creature was also frightened. She described the creature as resembling a large insect (mantis?). Its face was long and thin, its body very thin and subtle and it was about 1.6m tall. Its skin was gray or beige in color. It also had something resembling long and narrow insect wings. Its eyes were large and dark, insect-like. The eyes terrified the witness. “It gazed at me and I knew that it did not know what it would do. Our encounter had no meaning or aim; it appears to have been a total surprise for both of us.” The witness stated. The witness states that she has witnesses numerous other strange phenomena since that particular encounter. (No details on that yet).

Location. Near Medford New Jersey
Date: 1962 Time: 1815
The pregnant witness was on her way to see her doctor and was on a well-traveled road when she happened to glance up at the sky and saw a huge purple moon like object. She pulled over to get a better look. The object then seemed to fade out and became another color. It turned from purple to blue, green, orange, and silver. It kept spinning and fading out. Next thing she knew she was at her doctor’s office at 1930. Her face had acquired a suntan like burn. Years later under hypnosis she was able to remember more of what had happened. Apparently she was taken inside a craft in what looked like a large eye that opened up under the craft. Inside she was in a small white room, where she was pushed against a wall by a creature resembling a “praying mantis.” There was a metallic slab behind her. Two short white pale creatures with large black eyes then dressed her. She was told that she would not be harmed, apparently by telepathy. A reptilian like creature now entered the room. She was then led through the craft when she passed a black room, she felt that it was not a comfortable place to be, she also passed a gold room, she wanted to go there but was told she was not ready. The next room was small and pale pink in color; the room contained 20 incubators, 10 on top, and 10 on the bottom. She was shown what appeared to be Petrie dishes with embryos. In the 20th incubator she saw a baby with a very large head with aqua colored slanted eyes. His hair was very sparse. The witness felt an immense love towards the apparently hybrid baby. She was then led into a pale blue room. There she saw 20 more incubators, there appeared to be creatures resembling tadpoles in these Petrie dishes. Each incubator had a fetus in a more developed state and when she looked into the 20th incubator she saw a baby reptilian like creature. The whole time two short pale creatures and a tall reptilian accompanied her. Later she was led to a pale yellow large room resembling a courtroom. It was very misty inside. At that point the reptilian creature left her side. She was then led to the front of the room by the two short pale creatures. She then saw seven beings all wearing cloaks. One looked human, one alien, and one was tall, good looking of Nordic appearance that seemed to be the leader. He told her that she was judged, tested, and passed. She had no idea what he alluded to. At one point she looked at the Nordic humanoid at an angle, and he looked like a hologram. Then she noticed what appeared to be a small thin wire going into her arm. She heard strange sounds and the tall blond humanoid told her that they had given her knowledge and she would know what to do when the time was right.

Date: August 1999 Time: late night
A man visiting a friend’s house and sleeping on the sofa in the bedroom suddenly woke up feeling very panicky and totally unable to move. Looking towards the front door he saw a huge humanoid figure over 7 ft tall standing by the door. The figure resembled a large “praying mantis” and was wearing something resembling a black and purple cloak. Its skin was dark gray in color. It slowly approached the witness and reached out to him with a large hand with long thin fingers and grabbed his shoulder. At this point the witness lost consciousness and does not recall anything else of the incident. He remembered also feeling very cold during the encounter.
NOTE: It is my opinion, through my research, that these Insectoid humanoids are actually evolved Reptilians. I believe that through some type of metamorphosis process, these transformed beings are then designated as the highest rank or hierarchy within their respective group. Lon

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - January 1999 - late night
Eva Trent had fallen asleep when she awoke to a buzzing sound. Opening her eyes she was horrified to find two strange creatures standing on either side of her bed. The entity to her right was about 7-8-feet tall, weighed about 300 pounds, had apparently no clothing and seemed to have either crocodile or snake type skin. The creature to her left was identical in appearance but smaller in height and weight. They seemed to be communicating in a chirping manner. Each of the entities eyes glowed. Eva quickly discovered that she was unable to move. As she stared at the two creatures she found that either one or both were giving her instructions telepathically. The nature of this was seemingly for her to create mentally visual scenes of various kinds and then “they” proceeded to distort that particular pleasant scene in a perverse manner. Apparently the creatures were intent not only to observe her emotional reaction, but also possibly to feed off the energy that was produced. After awhile Eva began to mentally resist the mind manipulation and began to pray earnestly. A short time later she fell back to sleep. The next morning the witness found 5 of her music tapes grossly distorted as if extreme heat had been applied. However no evidence of fire or odor was present.

Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil - February 1980 - night
The witness who for the past two to three months had been followed by three strange men wearing black suits, was standing in front of his house one night when a car drove up and the door opened. The witness apparently lost his will and was compelled to enter the vehicle; inside the same three men he had been trying to hide from met him.
They drove around for a while until they reached a wooded area outside the city. They stopped the car near a large hovering object that was encircled by a luminous ring. The witness and the three men then walked underneath the object and were hit by a beam of light. He suddenly found himself inside the object, sitting on a chair. Suddenly handles appeared on the chair that secured his wrists and an iron bar pressed his forehead backwards while another gadget held his neck. The three men then appeared and suddenly seemed to shed their skin or bodies and transformed themselves into green scaly reptilian like creatures with heart shaped heads. The beings interrogated the witness and spoke of upcoming global events. At one point a door in the room was opened and he was able to see human corpses hanging by their feet from hooks on the walls. Everything went blank after that and his next conscious memory was of standing next to a theater near his home.

Location/Date: Bobadilla Air Base, Malaga, Spain - 1976 - night
While guarding an ammunition depot near a freight train a military guard observed a strange figure about 1.20 meters in height, black in color that was moving over the train tracks in a very quick and agile manner. Two guards approached the figure and pointed their rifles at it and it suddenly turned around and stared at the two men with two large bright red glowing eyes, it jumped up into the darkness and disappeared. Other soldiers at the base had seen a similar figure around the same time and strange objects over the area had also been reported.
One night, in the same base a soldier was given the task to guard a metallic cage, which contained a weird reptilian creature that emitted strange, grunting sounds. One night while standing duty a dark helicopter landed and three military personnel exited the craft, these proceeded to pick up the cage with the humanoid and left immediately. The guard described the humanoid as resembling a “reptilian penguin” with strong jaws and claws. It was about 40 cm in height. The guard observed that the helicopter lacked any identifiable markings on it.

Location/Date: Vyborg, Russia - Summer 1999 - during daylight
32-year old Mariya was found barely alive, naked and injured on a highway outside of St. Petersburg. She was taken to a hospital where it was found that she had numerous cuts, bruises and other injuries. After initial investigation local militia came to the conclusion that she had been raped. There was a strange detail present; the lower part of her body was covered in an unknown substance resembling mucus or frogspawn.
When she regained conscious she reported that she had been staying with some friends at a country cottage when one day she decided to take a motorboat into the bay of Finland. She wanted to look at an island, which had the ruins of a former Finnish glass plant abandoned in 1939. Suddenly a dense cloud covered the sky, she looked up and saw a huge disc-shaped craft. She felt paralyzed with fear and unable to move. As the huge flying saucer hovered over her she lost consciousness. She does not recall how long she had been unconscious but she woke up feeling a terribly cold and fearful. She opened her eyes and found herself lying on a metallic table, completely naked. She was not tied and was able to move but soon noticed a bizarre creature leaning over her. The creature was lizard-like, with huge eyes. She saw many shiny instruments around her and 3 or 4 lights shone over her. Suddenly she felt the creature climb over her, touching her. She felt like screaming but her throat did not obey her. She felt everything but soon lost consciousness again. She regained consciousness in a hospital 200 kilometers away from where she had originally been. Her boat was found on an island. The mucus or mucilage like substance proved difficult to wash away from her body.

Location/Date: Houston, Texas - 1998 - late night
Pamela Stonebrook, the well-known jazz singer, whose first recorded abduction is dated 1994 (but she had earlier abductions, suppressed in her memory since her childhood) reported that she later had sexual contacts with a reptilian entity. The sex was very unlike any sex with any human man.
On that night she was sleeping when suddenly she awoke and found that she was having sex with someone beautiful “like a Greek God”. The man was tall, blond, light haired with a beautiful face. At first she thought that it was just a dream. But the sex was so furious that she closed her eyes and enjoyed the all-submerging feelings. When she again opened her eyes, she didn’t see the beautiful blond slender man but before her she instead saw a reptilian entity with scaly skin. At that moment she understood that the alien visitor was able to camouflage its appearance.
Afraid of the alien’s real appearance, she cowered back. But then she heard a telepathic message from her partner... “With me you are safe. We have been together forever, we love each other”. Maybe they had been together forever indeed but Pamela only remembered the encounters since 1998. Pamela described her reptilian lover as very sensitive and very intelligent, his body resembled that of the body of a snake, solid, but smooth, greenish or yellow-green in color. The eyes of the reptilian were larger than human eyes and she noticed different tints in the alien’s eyes---golden, red and brown. The alien’s eyes reminded her of a cat’s eyes, with vertical pupils, but very beautiful. His neck was massive and on the top of his head he had a crest and two openings and a small bulge for a nose.
Pamela finally was able to talk to her family and friends about her encounters and said, “Frankly speaking, I don’t care a rap if anyone would laugh at my story, because I myself would react the same way---before it happened to me.”

Tall Horse-Headed Humanoid (Tikbalang?) Freaks Out Friends in SUV
5 friends were in the car, just sitting and talking when the pair in the front 'sense' a white being circling the SUV. Later a tall horse-headed humanoid rush towards them from behind. Strange account.
I recently came across the following account:
"Looking for an explanation as to what this may have been. About 2 years ago, I was with some friends in my car outside one of my friends' houses. It was around 9PM in winter time, so relatively dark out but clear weather. There were five of us in the car - myself and a friend in the passenger seat, as well as three friends sitting in the middle row (It's an SUV).
We were talking about some random topic, when all of a sudden I felt an intense feeling go down my spine, like we were being watched. I turned to my friend in the passenger seat and he looked up at me at the same time like he had just seen a ghost. I asked him if he felt that too, and he said yes. None of my other friends in the back felt anything. We felt really strange, but ignored it and kept talking.
A few minutes later, the feeling came back stronger than before, and once again my friend and I looked at each other at the same time. He looked right past me out the driver's side window (which my back was to) and told me not to turn around. None of my other friends saw anything, but he said there was something out there, and I felt some sort of "presence" behind me. We took turns describing to each other what we sensed it looked like, and we were for SURE both seeing/sensing the same thing. It was pure white and humanoid, but the details of what we sensed are fuzzy to me. Clearer descriptions later in the post. After a minute or so, it went away, and we were totally spooked.
This is where it gets weirder. My friend and I both felt the presence making circles around the car, and we began to both see green glowing circles moving quickly around it. It's hard to explain, but we couldn't really see them, it was more knowing they were there. They began to move faster and we were freaking the hell out. Then all of a sudden they disappeared. Once again, we both saw/felt these, but nobody in the back did.
Then, one of the passenger seat friends and I were leaning back to talk to the middle row, when all of a sudden on the sidewalk behind the car there was a flash of white light and a creature sprinting down towards us. It was pure white, bipedal, somewhat humanoid, and very tall and lanky. I'm going to guess it was probably 7 feet tall. It had a horse-shaped head, long black thin hair, black eyes, and claws. My friend and I in the front screamed simultaneously, started the car, and got the hell out of there.
Once we were far, far away, we once again took turns describing to each other what we saw, and we were both on point with each other's descriptions. I took everyone home, then as I was driving home, I still felt the presence behind me. I couldn't tell if it was in the car or not, but whenever I got to a stop sign/light, I felt it catching up, so I sped the rest of the way back. Once I got home, it was gone.
Both my friend and I could sense that whatever it was wasn't there to kill us or anything, just to make its presence known. Nothing like it has happened before or since. The only relevant connecting factor between the passenger seat friend and I (that those in the back did not share) is that we were both Christian (at the time).
Any ideas as to what we could have experienced? I can get in touch with the passenger seat friend if needed for extra info." GC

'Men in Black' Visited Family After Reporting UFOs to USAF
A witness describes an encounter with 4 'Men in Black' that came to their house the night after a large group of UFOs were seen and reported to the nearby USAF base.
I recently came across the following account:
"I’ve always been pretty skeptical of things, but I do believe the 'Men in Black' if you will, are real in the way they have been depicted.
When I was a kid we lived on a country farm in the Midwest, very secluded. We had been seeing lights in the sky for a long time. But one night, in particular, they were so active that they finally started to worry my parents. My mom called the nearest Air Force base, one of the largest and most well-known in the country. She told them what was going on and that there were literally hundreds of craft swarming the sky. They immediately sent a fleet of freaking fighter jets to the air space around our house.
As soon as they arrived all of the craft cloaked or whatever to where we could barely see them. The jets turned around and left in a hurry, so my mom called the base back asking why they left. They told her that as soon as they got there ALL of their equipment had totally stopped working and they lost communications. Their navigation instruments and everything. But they assured her they’d be back to investigate. They sent choppers after that and patrolled the skies all night and morning but found nothing more that they told us about.
That next evening though, four men in all black dress suits came to our house. We were all in the living room when my mom greeted them at the door and invited them in. They immediately asked to speak to her alone and she sent us to our rooms to talk to them. They were, like I said, in all black and wearing hats and sunglasses, even though it was later in the evening and dark, which I thought was weird. They were all very pale, as well, all the same skin tone. It looked like their heads were bald under the hats. I didn’t see any hair at all. I mean, they all looked pretty much identical from what I could tell.
My mom just told us that she went over what happened the previous night a few times and they were persistent about asking if she was “forgetting anything” and asked a couple times if there had been any abnormal occurrences leading up to the night in question, even if they seem unrelated. My mom, knowing that quite a lot of odd things go on in the wilderness surrounding our farm, just played dumb because something in her gut told her not to drag this out or let them know too much. They told her not to mention anything from the past 48 hours to anyone until they figure out what is taking place in the area. They said they’re sure it’s harmless but wouldn’t want to cause a panic, it’s a small rural area and word gets around quickly. So they left and that’s pretty much it.
We got a call a few days later from someone at the base saying that they weren’t sure what caused the events of that night but said it was probably just an “anomalous weather pattern” or some shit. It wasn’t the weather, it was much more akin to a damn invasion. Weather my ass." BN

Bigfoot Attacks Couple on South Williamsport, PA Mountain
A couple experience a Bigfoot attack while in their car on a mountain in south Williamsport, Pennsylvania. I have learned that the location is well-known for Bigfoot activity.
I recently received the following account:
"I experienced a strange incident in north central Pennsylvania. It will never be forgotten. Just thinking about this story still makes my body shake with fear. It was during the early 1970's, when I was attending community college. I overhead fellow classmates, discussing the beauty of Skyline Rd., located near South Williamsport, where you could see the entire valley of Williamsport.
So, I talked Chip, my boyfriend, into driving to the mountain ridge where we could see the valley. But we didn't pick the right area. Instead, we inadvertently went to another site, which was a neighboring mountain, but much higher and clearly isolated. It took a while to get to the top of this mountain, and we didn't see any cars along the way! It was cold outside and in the middle of fall. We finally reached the highest elevation of the mountain and a slightly cleared area. We parked the car to see the entire valley. It was truly beautiful with the full moon, stars, and city lights below us. We were definitely alone on this mountain!
It should have been a nice evening, sitting in the car overlooking the beautiful valley. But suddenly, I had a strange intense urge, to make sure our doors were locked! So, I locked my door and reached over and locked Chip's door. He just laughed at me! "Why are you locking the doors, we are the only two people here?" But I was adamant about getting all the doors locked immediately! I even had to know if his old Vega was locked in the back? “Yes, the back of the car, was always locked.” But I clearly felt uneasy. Chip encouraged me to enjoy the beautiful night sky and our view. Finally, I attempted to be calm, and leaned my back against the side of my car door.
Chip leaned over the center console and kissed me. Two young people concentrating on each other, and we initially ignored the slight outside movement of the car. But all of a sudden, with my back against the door, I felt a very strong pull on my door. Simultaneously, we both felt a tremendous rocking of the car. We both looked out my window. Standing next to my door, was a very large humanoid creature! It was pulling at my door handle, and with both of its hairy hands. This creature was so determined and strong, it caused the intensive rocking of the car. At this sight, we screamed together in absolute shock! Thank God, somehow my door remained locked.
Chip grabbed his keys and immediately started the car. As the engine roared, this menacing creature turned away from the car and headed right down the mountain. It deliberately stayed away from the lights of our car. It moved with an unbelievable swiftness and speed, and in the dim light, into a heavily wooded area, filled with painful briers! What kind of crepuscular creature could be so active in this densely mountainous region? There is no human capable of moving at that rapid pace. Humans are also unable to move in such potentially dangerous areas without lights. It’s obvious, this creature had nocturnal vision. Did this creature also have the ability to camouflage itself? Why didn’t we see it earlier?
It further easily disappeared into the gnarly terrain I screamed at Chip, “get us out of here!” As we drove down the mountain, I was visibly shaking and crying. I kept asking “what did we just encounter?” Chip was equally confused and terrified, as I was feeling. What did we actually see that night? It appeared to be some sort of Bigfoot. Of course, this is not possible, because rational people, really don’t believe in the existence of Bigfoot. However, this is my description: It didn’t have a defined neck, and was covered with hair on the face, arms, and body! The body was massive with thick shoulders and arms. There was no appearance of any clothing. It also appeared beside our car, like an avid hunter, and maintained its presence before our initial and horrified recognition.
After this incident, I thought we should go immediately to the police, but Chip stated, "no one will ever believe us.” However, I think a Guardian Angel whispered in my ear, to initially lock those doors. What if my door lock had given way to the creature’s fierce pulling? Why was this creature so intent upon opening my side of the car door? It was clearly violent, because the fury used against the door, actually created the horrendous shaking of the entire car. But it had to be a Guardian Angel, who made sure my door lock didn’t release under its savagery efforts. Furthermore, the creature was much larger than the two of us and we couldn’t defend ourselves against it.
Yes, we should leave Bigfoot alone, because the one we encountered, was definitely cunning, and it also exhibited a strong capacity for discernment, as it first approached the female’s side of the vehicle. It apparently watched us for a while, just waiting for the opportunity to force the door open. It was without doubt dangerous to us. The majority of the human race will never experience how close this creature came to us. Furthermore, people may deny and laugh about the existence of Bigfoot. We were just glad to escaped it. We had our miracle that evening. We were able to go home. We never went to this mountain area again.
Many decades later, I researched online the reported sightings of Bigfoot in Pennsylvania. Through this process I discovered this state was designated as “one of the highest rated states for such strange sightings in America.” It was real enough for me and will never be forgotten. Yes, I believe in miracles, Guardian Angels, and Bigfoot. Do you blame me?" SW

Photo: Bizarre Cryptid Killed in Cerro Azul, Panama
This incident occurred in September 2009 in Cerro Azul, Panama. Apparently, this cryptid came out of a cave near a waterfall. It is stated that 4 children were frightened and stoned it to death. I'm simply looking for further information.
The discovery of a strange creature in Cerro Azul, Panama, sparked controversy among the people, for what some say might be a creature from another planet. Others simply believe that it is just an animal.
Two young men were having fun on the hill when they saw at the entrance of a cave a creature that was approaching them. They were frightened and stoned it to death.
Panama’s Channel 13 showed images of a strange creature that appeared the first week of September 2009 in Cerro Azul, east of Panama City, and that alarmed local residents.
According to Telemetro, there is a dispute that it is an animal and those who think it’s an extraterrestrial creature. No authority said anything about the find.
Telemetro said four children, aged between 15 and 16 , saw the “thing” coming out of the water fall and stoned it to death, afraid of being attacked.
NOTE: This was an interesting story behind this find, though there was very little information given after the reporting of the find. Even though this was almost 12 years ago, I would like more information if available. Any thoughts? Lon

'Little Yellow Humanoid' in Thai Rice Field
On September 9, 2005 villagers in Huay Nam Rak, Thailand claimed they witnessed a yellow humanoid which appeared like a small-body man with large head and about 70 centimetres tall. Over 10 residents said they saw the being during the morning in a rice field outside the village.
"Thai TV reported on an entity seen in NW Thailand near Chieng Mai. The entity was seen near a rice farm by four or five people. It had a large head and a yellow body. The phantasm then stretched into the sky and disappeared. The news anchor called this a "jahn binh" or flying saucer."

Chiang Rai- Mae Jan District residents were excited over the sight of the unidentified entity floating into the sky above the rice farm. They believed it was an extra-terrestrial being. Several groups of people have been visiting the seen. The district chief was still in doubt, as many of the villagers insisted they witnessed the entity but failed to identify what it was. Witnesses’ drawings were the only evidence obtained. Police were not yet able to find any proof of such incident.
In response to the news on the villagers’ witnessing an alien, our reporter visited Huay Nam Rak Village, Moo 5, Jan Jawa Subdistrict, Mae Jan District, Chiang Rai Province on September 9, 2005. There have been over 100 visitors per day gathering along the rice field to discuss about the incident.
The scene is a large wide green rice farm. The spot where the villagers claimed they had encountered the incident was in the rice field of Ti Kitkangbon, 69. A lot of villagers reported that on September 31, 2005, around 06:30 am, they saw an unidentified entity that looked like a doll, being 1 meter in height. Its body was light yellow. It had large eyes, large ears, and skinny legs. They had initially thought the entity was a scarecrow.
Around 10:00 am, on the same day, the unidentified entity floated into the sky, seemingly with some energy, and disappeared. The witnesses were shocked. They discussed about the incident in groups, believing the entity seen could be an alien like that in a Hollywood film. Unfortunately, the villagers did not have any camera to photograph the incident, so there was no evidence. They sketched the entity witnessed that looked like a cartoon character. Some of them said the entity looked like Casper the friendly ghost.
Sawaeng Bunratchasak, 51, resident of the particular village, said he was not drunk, and not using drugs when witnessing the incident. That morning he saw an unidentified identity that resembled a scarecrow. He did not take that seriously until Kamma told him that the entity had floated away and disappeared. He, then, became excited.
Kamma Pinsaimoon, 56, said that at the beginning he thought the entity was a scarecrow used by Ti, the rice farm owner, to keep ducks away. As he observed further, he found out that the entity moved around, and then realized that it was not a scarecrow. He watched it until 10:30 am when the entity stretched, floated above an electricity pole into the sky, and disappeared like a soaring rocket.
Buapan Lawichai witnessed the entity in the morning, around 06:30 am, on August 31, 2005. She said it had a large round head that looked like a light bulb, red eyes, and yellowish skin. It floated unsteadily above the rice in the field, as if it had very little energy.
Wisit Sittisombat, Mae Jan District chief, said after visiting the scene that it was not possible to identify the entity seen by the villagers. Due to the fact that many of the witnesses confirmed the sighting, he did not believe that the incident was fabricated truth. He was working on an investigation into the issue. Everyday there were a number of people and media visiting the sight. The entity witnessed still remained unidentified.
Pol. Col. Kittisin Kongtaweepan, superintendent of Mae Jan District Police Station, Chiang Rai Province, said there was neither evidence for identifying the entity witnessed by the villagers, nor for concluding that it was an alien. According to
the investigation, there was no trace of the rice being damaged and no other proof. Police officers were assigned to watch the scene due to a great number of visitors.

Chiang Rai - Numbers of visitors to Mae Jan District looked for proof of the alien at the scene. The villagers still believed that what they witnessed was a mysterious entity or an extra-terrestrial being. Government agencies equipped with advanced technology were urged to investigate into the issue, as a floating fire had been sighted to fall on the scene before the entity was witnessed.
In response to the news on the villagers’ witnessing an alien at an area in Mae Jan District, Chiang Rai Province, our reporter visited Huay Nam Rak Village, Moo 5, Jan Jawa Subdistrict, Mae Jan District, Chiang Rai Province, to investigate the issue further. Groups of villagers were seen gathering in the village and the rice field discussing about the incident. After there were news reports through the media, the scene received significant numbers of visitors and those interested in
mysteries. The rain did not seem to be their obstacle.
The scene the alien sighting was claimed was in the rice farm of Ti Kitkangbon. It was a ridge through the paddy field. Go-ko 6 rice, which was 1 foot in height, was grown in the field along with lemongrass. There were no sign of unusual things, and no trace of the ground being stepped on by the entity. There were only footprints of visitors.
Buapan Lawichai, residing at 206 Huay Nam Rak Village, Moo 5, Jan Jawa Subdistrict, Mae Jan District, Chiang Rai Province, said she witnessed a 1-meter tall entity which had large ears, large eyes, and golden skin. It was standing and moving in the middle of the rice farm for several hours in the morning of August 31, 2005. She said now at night people tried to avoid passing the scene, because they were afraid of being kidnapped by the alien like a movie.
Kamma Pinsaimoon, 50, Huay Nam Rak resident, said he saw an object that looked like a child floating into the sky being 50 meters above the ground, without any sound made and wings. At the time of witnessing, the object turned black and disappeared in the sky. He was definitely certain that what he saw was not a bird, but still could not identify the object.
Somkit Kriangkraimoon, 31, Huay Nam Rak resident, said on August 31, 2005 he saw a strange object that resembled a doll. It had a head, body, legs, but no arms. Its two eyes were red, and the skin was yellowish red, like the color of red bricks. It stood unsteadily in the middle of the field. He initially thought it was a scarecrow, so he stopped paying attention. However, as seeing that object moving slowly and unsteadily like it was walking on water surface, he realized that he had been witnessing some incident which he insisted was not fabricated truth.
Kittikasem Ratanakosa, 30, an employee of a hotel in Chiang San District, said he himself did not witness the incident. After hearing about it, he visited the scene and hoped for scientific investigation, such as examining rocks or soil in the area. He said this was because he heard that a floating fire had been sighted to fall on the scene the night before the claimed incident of alien sighting. From his investigation, he did not find any evidence.
Wisit Sittisombat, Mae Jan District chief, said his visit to the scene after the incident suggested that there was no evidence to consider the entity seen by the villagers as an alien. Indeed, it was not possible right now to identify the entity. He did not comment on the fact that Huay Nam Rak Village was visited by numerous people, as there was no point in stopping people from following their personal belief. Looking on the bright side, the villagers could be making money from selling food and drinks.
Yongyut Tiyapairat, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, who was on his business trip to Paya Mengrai District and Wiangchai District, Chiang Rai Province, said he had not yet made a journey to his hometown of Sansai Subdistrict, Mae Jan District, so he did not know what exactly had been witnessed by the villagers.

Chiang Rai - Villagers claimed they today (Friday) morning witnessed an "alien" or extra-terrestrial being which appeared like a small-body man with large head and about 70 centimetres [about 2 feet] tall.
Over 10 residents of Huay Nam Rak Village in Mae Jan district's Tambon Janjawa said they saw the ET today morning in a rice field outside the village.
Sawaeng Boonyalak, 35, said he heard from friends that they saw the alien so he rushed to see it.
"The alien is about 70 cm high and has yellow skin and flat chest. Its mouth is very tiny. It has bald big head with big eyes and big ears," Sawaeng said.
He claimed that several villagers also witnessed the ET at the same time with him.
Sawaeng said the alien wandered around in the field for about an hour without caring the villagers who were looking at it.
"Suddenly, the alien floated to a tree top. After more villagers came to see it, it floated into the sky into the bright light," Sawaeng said.
He said villagers did not find any foot print of the being in the area.
Buakaew Intaweng, 59, said she initially thought the alien was a doll but it could move around.
Mae Jan district chief Wisit Sitthisombat said he interviewed over ten villagers and they consistently testified about sighting the alien.
"I asked them to draw what they have seen and the picture came out similarly," Wisit said.

Was the Alien Really a Blowup 'Doll'?
Tongmuan Pochailoet, a member of Pasak Subdistrict Administrative Organization, presented a sketch of his lost inflated rubber doll.
Tongmuan said that on August 20, 2005 he made a journey to congratulate his relative at the graduation ceremony at Chiang Mai University Conference Center. Then he visited the Ancient Village Museum nearby. On the way, he found an inflated greenish orange rubber doll being about 1 meter tall in a roadside tree. He believed someone had lost the doll, so he decided to take it home. He described that the doll was 1 meter in height, and floated like a balloon. It had large head, large eyes, a nose, and a mouth. It did not have ears. Its arms and legs were small. A string was attached through the doll’s lower part. There were a lot of people who had not seen such doll. As the string was not obvious, some children even got very scared seeing the head moved by the wind.
He tied the doll up at the front of his house, using it as a scarecrow, hoping its strange look could scare away ducks and chicken sneakily ate his rice and nuts. He noticed that at night the doll did not float. However, during the day when it was hot, the doll would float. He, then, had to tie it up.
On August 29, 2005, at about 6:00 pm, the storm carried away the doll to the north. He could not follow it, and believed that he lost it. Later, he found out from the media that the residents of Huay Nam Rak Village, Moo 5, Jan Jawa Subdistrict which was 6 kilometers away to the west, reported their sighting of a yellowish orange entity that seemed similar to the particular doll with a large head and eyes. He thought the unidentified entity could be his missing doll.
Tongmuan Pochailoet finally came clean about his missing scarecrow. He had not spoken sooner, he claimed, for fear of offending the Huay Nam Rak villagers. He made a sketch of his inflatable doll for reporters, who in turn showed it to the witnesses.
Although many witnesses had said that they first thought the strange figure was a doll or scarecrow, by now they had convinced themselves they had seen an extraterrestrial - and it was going to take more than Pochailoet's drawing to change their minds.
The doll had arms and legs, but the alien only had legs, they protested. The doll had a mouth but no ears, whereas the alien had ears but no mouth. And after all, hadn't a brilliant shooting star passed over the village only the night before the sightings?
A rumor even spread that the alien had been captured, and the local municipal office was overwhelmed by visitors clamoring to see the unearthly prisoner.
In desperation, the Mayor asked the village chief to set up a camera in the rice field in case the entity or balloon or whatever-it-was returned. (It didn't.) He also had to send workmen to repair the road running past the field, which had been churned to mud by the sudden influx of visitors.

'Indrid Cold' Contacts Witness of Recent Mothman Encounters in Hartwick, NY
Does 'Indrid Cold' still exist? Was a recent 'Mothman' encounter in Hartwick, New York connected to the incidents in Point Pleasant & Parkersburg, WV in 1966-67?
A friend and associate investigator, Gabriel L. from NYC (who is also a haunting experiencer and intuitive), forwarded the following report on 4/10/2021:
I had been contacted by Jessica who lives in Hartwick in upstate New York.
She had given me more details of the 2 encounters once I had arrived. She went into further detail thereby expanding our initial conversations.
During the first 2 encounters she had gotten calls from someone with a terse clipped tone of voice calling themselves "Indrid Cold" (The calls came up on call-waiting during her conversation with the investigator. The caller ID simply stated 'Indrid Cold,' no further information). I felt a harsh shudder through my body. She was told that "she didn't see a thing". She said his voice had the same inflection of someone speaking through gritted teeth or a forced smiled.
Everyone who is into the many aspects of the anomalous knows the name (Woodrow L Derenberger's encounters with 'Indrid Cold' in November 1967 - Part I - Part II - Part III). But she didn't. She couldn't. She doesn't believe in anything Fortean. For her to utter that name was serious. It was serious enough that I decided to go up to Hartwick, NY and do some investigating of my own.
I didn't know what I could do to help but I hoped prayer, psychic contact, and force of will would give her some respite. All of those have helped in the past. I might as well see if they will work again.
She picked me up from the Oneonta, NY bus terminal on Tuesday April 6th. Oneonta is an unnerving place. Hardly anyone was out and about. Not that many pedestrians. Not much automotive traffic.
As soon as we left Oneonta to head to Hartwick, NY, the sense of dread and loneliness began to creep in. Despite the clear skies and lush green hills, I felt very uneasy.
My report consists of two parts:
Part 1 - her encounters with something is sounds horrifyingly similar to the Mothman.
Part 2 - my visit to her home from Tuesday April 6th to Friday April 9th.

Part 1. The Encounters
She claims to have had 2 sightings of a "dark, flying man."
The first sighting was several meters over her house. But despite being "hazy" like an out of focus picture, she was able to tell it was humanoid in shape. It had wings but not on its back. Rather they extended out of its torso. She judged the wingspan to be 6 feet each limb (12 ft+ total span).
Equally disturbing was the fact there was no head. It was headless, legged torso with wing-like appendages. She described it as hovering or floating. The wings flapped very infrequently. She estimated several seconds passed between each flap.
The second encounter happened soon. The same day. it seemed much more terrifying. She had heard stomping footsteps and dragging sounds after each footfall. Her cats had spit and and hissed while staring at an empty spot in the living room. Her dog whined and let out short terse barks as it looked towards the spot as it walked in a circle.
She ran outside and saw the same "hazy and out of focus" black humanoid with no head and wings for arms on its roof, hunched over. She estimated the height to be around 7 or 8 feet. (Gabriel L: the fact it was opaque black and "out of focus" gave me the distinct impression that this thing wasn't an alien or cryptid but something extradimensional).
She yelled at it and at that point it stopped shuffling. It turned its torso around without using its legs. She saw a pair of bright red eyes dead center of its torso.
She began to feel an intense pain like a migraine behind her eyes. She began to feel "detached" and "beside" herself as if she was watching herself from behind. "My head was filled with like static from a dead TV channel. White noise." The fear was so intense, she claimed to have urinated herself.
She remained transfixed by the gaze until her dog barked at her from inside. She ran inside, gathered her cats and dog and hid in a bedroom closet for the remainder of the day and night. Well into Sunday morning. (During which time she contacted Gabriel L.)

Part 2. Gabriel's Investigations
Tuesday April 6th - 1pm local time:
Upon arrival to her home in Hartwick I was struck by how bucolic everything was. But despite how everything was so beautiful there was a heaviness in the air which felt to increase as we got closer to her house.
I noticed that to the house's left was a graveyard.
She helped me bring my bags in and the heaviness I felt outside was...well, heavier indoors. "The animals avoided the living room," she said.
I took out a pair of dowsing rods and stood at the center of the living room. For a few seconds I felt nothing. But just I turned to say so to Jessica, the rods spun to my right. I felt something was in my personal space and was right in my face. The heaviness was overwhelming.
I caught Jessica's expression. She whimpered softly. "It's here." I concentrated and I felt a presence. It was sentient but very 'alien' feeling. Nothing like a ghost, demon or poltergeist. I felt as if it was scrutinizing me. Studying me. For some reason I was reminded of Edward Gorey's 'Insect God' poem. I then had the impression of something pushing itself into my mind. I then knew what Jessica meant by TV static. White noise. I let my temper slowly build up and pushed back against this invasive presence.
I had the impression I shoved something away from me but hard. I felt the heaviness lessen in the living room. I plodded over to an easy chair and sat down. I felt exhausted. But something wasn't right. Jessica was staring at me. I asked what was wrong. "You just froze and stared to your right for such a long time," she mumbled. I looked at my watch and was terrified.
My watch read 2:15pm. I was standing for an hour. I experienced lost time.
2 - 4pm local time:
I kept hearing footfalls from above me. Not on the 2nd floor. Not on the roof but on the ceiling.
Feelings of being stared at, scrutinized, and glared at resumed. The dowsing rods felt heavier than unusual. At one point something tried to yank them out of my hands. Things kept clicking. We heard movement from the kitchen but were too scared to investigate.
5:30 - 6pm local time:
All weirdness had finally stopped. We then decided to try and relax. Around 5:30pm I became aware of the sensation of being stared at again. I left the bedroom we were in and made my way downstairs.
Every step of the way saw me seeing something out of the corner of my eye as if they right behind me to the side.
Something was following me. Of this, I am not mistaken.
3:00am local time:
Nothing happened for the rest of the night until 3am.
The pungent smell of something chemical gradually faded in. It was stronger in the living room.
As I walked around the living room the smell seemed to follow me.
We then heard the shuffling scraping sound on the roof. I went outside with a powerful flashlight. Nothing was seen but I felt something glaring at me. At that moment a call came from 212-689-1212. I let it ring until it stopped. No voicemail. I called the number. It was disconnected. Google and phone tracing sites provided no help to the dead number.
Wednesday April 7th:
The IV in the bedroom kept turning on and waking us up. She got up to unplug the TV. Nothing happened for the rest of the day. Nothing was recorded on my cameras or digital recorder much to my annoyance.
Thursday April 8th:
I had horrific dreams all throughout out the night of a giant eye staring me from the windows. The sound heard was equally disconcerting. It was static-filled with a metallic voice echoing.
I found the pets hiding in the hallway closet deeply entrenched in the corner. I wept at how their eyes were filled with fear.
Friday April 9th - 7:45pm local time:
Jessica had the odd sensations of something with coarse fur touching her face and body in bed.
8:56pm local time:
The sharp chemical smell came back.
9:20pm local time:
We heard rattling sounds in the cupboards. Dog was whining.
11:30pm local time:
We both experienced the white noise sensation again. This time in her bed. Jessica whimpered and hid under the covers. I heard the floorboards creak as something invisible was walking around our bed.
Saturday April 9th - 4:40am local time:
A heavy pressure on the bed woke us up with a start. We saw a pair of indentations in the mattress. When I got out of bed I had the impression of something leaving the room.
Nothing further occurred before I left for home.

NOTE: this is atypical activity associated with the Mothman phenomenon though, during the incidents in Point Pleasant, WV in 1966-67, there were a number of other unexplained incidents during the period. These included UFO sightings, increased spirit energy and MIB encounters. As well, 55 miles north near Parkersburg, WV, Woodrow Derenberger had his 2 encounters with a saucer-shaped UFO and the occupant 'Indrid Cold.' Is Indrid Cold still among us? Was the call received by Jessica government related or something completely different? Intriguing case that we will continue to investigate. Lon

British Columbia Cryptids & Unexplained Phenomena Encounters
3 different accounts of cryptid and other unexplained phenomenon in British Columbia, Canada. These include a Sasquatch encounter, a white biped cryptid and phantom voices.
The following accounts were recently provided to me:
"My grandfather had witnessed for himself the tremendous size and strength of a Sasquatch for the first time in 1951. At the time, he was working in the Nass River Valley as a Chief Forester for the province. He watched this occasion from a distance of about 100m, as a large black haired figure walked across the log camp from one end to the other. The creature he said was the height of the top of the cookhouse, which was near 9ft, and the stride was near 5ft after later examination of tracks. It walked across the camp in about a minute or so, and when it reached the cookhouse it had to move barrels full of diesel away from the entrance to the cookhouse. When the weekends came the logging crews would shutdown and would often leave fully loaded fuel barrels stacked in front of the cookhouse doors to prevent the natives and hermits from breaking in and stealing food.
The creature picked up the barrels tossing them each aside, one at a time without stopping or showing any signs of fatigue. Each barrel weighing several hundred pounds being full of diesel. The creature just threw them aside, like we would throw aside an empty cardboard box. After clearing the barrels away from the cookhouse doors, it simply stripped the doors away with one movement, breaking the heavy hinges leaving the doors to the one side of the doorway. It then had to bend over to get under the top of the doorway to enter the back of the storage area. It spent about 20 minutes inside before it must have sensed something, because it rushed out of the cookhouse and headed into the bush in a major hurry.
My grandfather waited for a friend to show up before approaching the cookhouse. They found the storage room ransacked and meat locker door ripped off the hinges. Tubs of lard, butter, sugar and honey were consumed, along with things like chairs, fridges and benches being pushed against the wall or toppled. The meat locker had been ransacked, bundles of sausages and bacon had been mostly eaten, along with a large ham being nearly half eaten. Bags of flour and baking powder had been broken in half. It took the day to clean up the mess, then they moved the camp 10 miles into another area." MU

"I live in a small town in northeastern British Columbia (part of the Peace River Regional District) We are surrounded by a lot of untouched forests and beautiful rivers. My family lives out in the country and we are about ten minutes away from an uninhabited valley. It had an old road going through it from ages ago and it had an old pioneer homestead that we could make our way down too (I think some kids burnt this down around 2000/2001).
Even from a young age I hated going to this place with my family. I had no reason to despise it so much. Everyone that visited was always in awe of how beautiful it was down there, but I always just got this sick feeling in my stomach. My sighting was from when I was young, so I realize not many will believe it but it stuck with me.
My family was showing a cousin from Australia this place (our town is boring so outdoors stuff is all we have to offer) and I was sitting on my dad's shoulders while the adults walked. Now the road we were on had large shrubs on either side, in BC we have berries called saskatoons and the bushes on this stretch were tall and thick. Because I was on my dad's shoulders I could see over these, but nobody else could. I remember looking over and on the other side of these bushes was a big field with a dense forest on the other side. I saw something massive and WHITE walking on two legs into those trees.
As a dumb kid I yelled out POLAR BEAR which obviously my parents ignored (absolutely no polar bears here) and that was that. Still no idea what I saw, although I'm sure there could be a rational explanation involving an albino animal and possibly an overactive kid imagination.
My neighbour, who is also the closest thing I’ve had to a grandfather, lives in a spot that overlooks a large field with the valley below (you pass his home to get onto the property I had my sighting on). A few years ago he told us of a night he watched what he thought was a helicopter coming in to land in the large field below his home. Right as it looked like it was landing it shot straight up and disappeared into the sky. He’s a pretty serious guy and he told this in front of my parents, so I doubt he’d lie. He’s convinced he witnessed a UFO.
My younger sister was driving home on our country road after a late shift. She remembered seeing two dark people (no reflective clothing or anything) walking in the pitch black and thinking “wow IDIOTS” just as one of these things turns and glances at her. She told me it had green eye shine which she knew humans shouldn’t have, yet it was a human-like shape. She glanced quickly at her clock then back up and whatever she was seeing had disappeared." DR

"I lived in southern British Columbia most of my life and I always felt welcome wherever I visited. At least till my boyfriend and I spent a night at Miracle Beach on Vancouver Island. We went early March when the campgrounds were nearly empty and the temperature dropped below zero. The campground there is massive. Even with half of it closed off for the winter months the open area was still 50 sites. We had no one near us and the only people we saw were on the opposite end with no kids and no dogs. We have our fire and food, enjoy the stars and then tuck in for the night. It got cold very fast. Even with layers we were freezing our butts off but we eventually drift off to sleep.
I woke up startled. I swear someone had been whispering my name. As I took in my surroundings I realized that I was facing my boyfriend, who was passed out and breathing softly. I stopped to listen to the woods around me. Nothing. I close my eyes and try to go back to sleep. As I'm feeling comfortable and drifting it happens again. I hear my name whispered. I open my eyes and my boyfriend is still sleeping. The whisper happens again, it's definitely not my boyfriend. I look around in a panic and hear my name again. Just as I'm really freaking out and about to wake up my boyfriend dogs start barking. I can hear the barks getting closer and then further away. Like they followed something close to the site and then chased it away. And then silence. It felt like everything was back to normal and the woods were safe again (as safe as they can be). I fell back asleep and woke up the next day. Beyond the aches, pains and stiff body from the cold, everything felt fine. After food and packing we wandered the campground and could not find any dogs.
My boyfriend was curious about why I was looking for dogs so I told him what happened. He joked that maybe he died in his sleep and haunted me briefly. We chalked it up to maybe some dogs from the neighbouring farms but we couldn't figure out what was whispering my name at night and why the dogs seemed to scare it away. I've joked that it's a wendigo or a skinwalker but honestly I have no idea." VS
