'Pig-Like Humanoid' Observed Feeding on Deer Carcass in Upstate NY
A witness in upstate New York noticed a dead deer along a well-traveled trail. Later, he came back and observed a 'pig-like humanoid' feeding on the carcass! What was this beast?
I just found this on social media. The witness seems very sincere:
"I live in upstate New York near a relatively high traffic hiking trail that runs alongside a stream for a portion. In mid March 2021 I noticed a dead deer near the stream––pretty common in our area, especially in winter. Went for a walk yesterday evening and I passed where the deer was and saw something that’s been really messing with me since.
Something was crouched over the dead deer. It looked like a pig but large, the size of a grown man, with loose, sagging skin. Its whole face was kind of sagging and leaking out of its nose and eyes. I’ve worked with livestock before so I know what pigs look like, and this pig was all the wrong shape. Its body was swollen, and its back legs were splayed out so I could see that they were really long. I could see that it had virtually no hair, just smooth skin. It was sitting on its back haunches near the deer, and by the time I got close enough to see, it was staring at me, totally still.
I have this sick certainty that it noticed me way before I noticed it. I was standing like 20ft away, still basically on the trail, and it was just staring at me. The deer carcass was kind of everywhere, like it had been messily eaten. While I was watching the pig raised both its front legs and I saw that they ended not in cleft feet, but in large hands, like human hands. It reached into the deer and just ripped off a chunk from its side, raised it to its snout, and ate out of its hands. All this went down in a matter of seconds, and as soon as I saw its hands I just turned back the way I came on the trail and walked away as fast as I could. I wanted to run but I was afraid it would chase me, so I went back to where I came in, just trying to stay calm.
It was the worst walk of my life. I was afraid to look behind me because I was so scared I would see the pig following me on his hands, but I made it out and ran across the parking lot to my car.
Now I’m just trying to understand this encounter. I want to believe my mind was playing tricks on me. I haven't found anything on the internet about this creature. Please if anyone has seen something like this, please let me know. Any leads are greatly appreciated." FD
Follow-up: "It didn't make any sounds at all. It's skin looked tan/taupe, but that could have been from the light. It's eyes were very small, but I couldn't tell much about them because they were kind of obscured by the loose skin around and above them." FD
NOTE: I believe that this occurred somewhere along the Appalachian Trail in New York, though the witness has been tight-lipped on the location. Lon

Possible 'Winged Man or Angel' Seen After Motorbike Accident
2 friends witness a serious accident at night involving 2 motorbikes in Marquez, Philippines. The main witness saw a figure that looked like a winged man. Was it an angel?
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
"This story happened when I was in college (in Marquez, Philippines). When I was in college I lived in a separate house from my parents, my step dad and my mom. They bought a house for me, close to where they lived. My friends always did sleep over at my house.
One night a friend of mine visited me and asked me if he can sleep at my house for the night. So I said yes, because they always do that. We chat for a moment and then we decided to go out and buy some drinks and cigarettes. When we go out we noticed that the night is so beautiful, with clear sky. You could see the stars and the moon shines so bright. So we decided to walk from my house to the convenience store. Like 7/11, but it’s not 7/11 because we don’t have 7/11 before here when I was in college.
So were walking and chatting at the side of the road when suddenly, we heard a loud sound. the sounds of speeding motorbikes. So we looked at the road where the sound is coming and we saw two motorbike’s racing each other. The passenger of one motorbike is a man, a little girl and a pregnant woman. And 2 adult men are riding the other motorbike. So they are racing. Then suddenly the other motorbike gets too close to the other one and hit the back and they crashed. When we saw that happened me and my friend ran towards them to help.
I ran towards the motorbike where the little girl is riding because I’m concerned about her. As I get closer to where they are all I can see is smoke. Then suddenly I saw a figure standing. This figure looks like a man. I thought that it’s just one of the riders. But as I looked carefully this figure had wings. All I can see is this figure’s back his not facing towards me. Then it disappeared. So I continued helping.
The first one that I pulled to the side of the road is the father. He's awake but had a big cut on his forehead and I can smell the alcohol and he keeps on saying 'I’m sorry, I’m drunk. Help my daughter and wife.' Then the second I pulled is the little girl. I carried the little girl and put her at the side of the road beside his father. When I looked at the little girl, she had a broken right leg and right arm and pass out. So I go back to get the mother and I’m shocked when I saw her. She was standing at the spot where I saw the winged figure. But she’s not there when I’m helping his husband and daughter or maybe I just don’t see her because of the smoke.
I ran to her and first thing that I do is asked her if she is wounded or injured. But she’s just crying. She’s not responding to any of my questions. So what I did is I checked her hands and head if she had any wounds or injuries but to my surprised I don’t see any wounds, blood or even a scratch on the pregnant woman. Then the ambulance arrived and helped them.
After that my friend and I went to the convenience store and buy what we need. We smoked a lot that night. Then in the morning we got invited to the police station to give our testament to what happened and I asked the police what happened to the family. They told me that the pregnant woman is okay but the father and daughter are still recovering. The police informed us that the other 2 motorbike riders that the involved in the accident are friends of the injured man. They came from the same party that night and that they were all drunk that time.
My only question is...how come his husband and daughter are injured but the pregnant woman doesn’t have any injuries? B

Creepy Camping Incident in Cherokee National Forest, Tennessee
A man, camping with his girlfriend's parent in Cherokee National Forest, has a strange encounter and realization when he encounters an old woman sitting by a tree.
The following account was recently referred to me:
"I have been holding this story in for awhile and have tirelessly searched the internet to find another person who has experienced something similar, but to no avail. This story is entirely true, and although I loved the campground I stayed at and the beautiful nature that was all around, I'll have a tough time going back without finding out what the hell happened last time I went.
My girlfriend had invited me on a camping trip to Indian Boundary Campground with her and her family a few months back. This campground is in the Cherokee National Forest near a city called Tellico Plains, Tennessee.
The first few days of the trip went as expected; we hiked, made smores, and told scary stories. But little did I know that I would be in one soon.
About half-way through the trip we decided to visit the local fish hatchery. Unfortunately when we arrived the gates were closed and there were signs out saying that it was closed due to Covid-19. On the same bulletin board that these signs were on, there was an oddly out of place and very unsettling picture of a fish with its face cut straight open. Yes, the face was cut straight down the middle so all that could be seen was the skeleton of the fish. There was text on the picture that read "look", but it was in some strange font. Almost a creepypasta kind of font with characters like "ö". That itself wasn't all too weird. Just wrote it off as someone trying to play a prank and creep tourists out.
Once we realized the hatchery was closed we decided to change our plans for the day and head to a swimming hole that my girlfriend's Grandma used as a child. We arrived to a beautiful, clear creek with a rope swing tied to a tree on the bank. An old lady sat in front of the tree smoking a cigarette with a rock in her lap. As my girlfriend and I approached the creek we greeted the old woman who seemed quite friendly, and that is when I noticed that she was using another smaller rock to etch something on to the larger rock that was in her lap. She eventually left the creek side, retreating to her camper, which was about 50 feet from the other side of the creek, and joined her husband. They both then sat outside their camper in lawn chairs facing the creek, and it seemed as though they just watched us from a distance for a good while. I didn't think too much of it. Sure it was creepy, but they were just some harmless old people. Then I looked at the rock that the woman had been writing on. The word "look" was carved into it. I freaked out
Nothing else that was this strange happened throughout the rest of our trip, but this day still boggles my mind. I have no way of explaining these events, and still have not heard of anyone with similar experiences. But damn the woods are creepy, and that is the last place I wanted to be scared sh*tless!' SB
NOTE: The Cherokee National Forest is one of a few areas where a multitude of strange and unexplained occurrences take place. It's also know for sudden disappearances of hikers and campers. I have been there twice and, I have to admit, it has the same 'feel' that I experienced in the Freetown-Fall River State Forest in Massachusetts in the 1970s. There was a constant feeling of hate and foreboding. Is it supernatural / evil? Not sure what to make of it, but I have yet to determine the actual reason for my feelings. Lon

Bizarre 'Mannequin' Encounter While Hunting Near Uvalde, Texas
A father and son are hunting hogs on a private ranch near Uvalde, Texas. They come across a brightly clothed mannequin and suddenly become overwhelmed by dread and fear. Very weird. What are your thoughts?
I recently came across this bizarre account:
"This happened when I was growing up, around 2004 or 2005 when I was about 13 years old. It took place in a rural area, a good ways outside the town of Uvalde, Texas. The town itself was really small back then and not much to look at, it’s just one of those towns that really isn’t on the way to anywhere important.
My father knew someone who owned a deer lease that was about 1k acres (I think), down outside of that area and was complaining about a ton of hogs that were tearing up their land. Being open season on hogs in the south my dad thought he would surprise me that summer and take me down for a week to go hunting for them. Not only did that help him with networking for his job but also gave us some quality father/son time.
I remember the drive down there from Dallas was torture. It was about 7 hours in my dad's hard top jeep wrangler. That car was so uncomfortable, I hated it. All I had to do was either stare out the window or try and beat Super Mario Land 2 on my Gameboy.
The drive, obviously, took most of the day, so we got there in the early evening. The owner of the land had told my dad that he hadn’t had anyone lease it that year yet and the cabin in the property might be a little rough and dusty. I didn’t really care, at this point in my life I had been in Boy Scouts for a couple years and spent a lot of my free time in the woods or fishing with friends. Needless to say I was pretty comfortable roughing it.
So after unlocking the gate and driving to the cabin on the land we settled in. The cabin was pretty rough, dust and dirt everywhere, flies, etc. I remember that it looked like some raccoons had gotten into the cabin and crapped on the floor. After cleaning up a bit and getting the sleeping bags out then setting up the cots we decided to sleep. Something about that night was weird. I never was able to get comfortable enough to fall asleep for any restful amount. I couldn’t put my finger on why but I had that feeling of being watched.
I was finally able to drift off for what I guessed was an hour maybe. When we woke up it was early, about 7am. We decided to scout around the land for tracks and signs of hogs and find a good place to set up a blind. It was the summer and horribly hot in the afternoons so morning was the best time to be out and about.
After walking for an hour or so we came to area of trees, lightly dense, and luckily found some signs of hogs. Typical torn up ground where they had been rooting so we followed them into the trees. I was looking for more signs when my dad stopped me with his arm. I remember looking up and seeing someone standing about 50yards away, some of their body was blocked by trees.
This was private land so they definitely weren’t supposed to be there. We also had confirmation from the owner before we got to the lease that nobody was there, not to mention the gate was locked up when we first arrived. The person was wearing some bright colored red jacket. We slowly walked toward them. My dad called out something like, “hey, we're hunters! This is private land!” The person didn’t move at all, dead still. We were about 30yds away and could see that he was turned away from us with his hands in his pockets. Weird thing was that the person was in a ski jacket and what looked to be ski pants. Now this is Texas in the summer, it was about 98 outside by then. My dad called out again, no reaction. He told me to stay behind him and unsnapped the clip to his pistol holster (that’s all we had at the time since we were only scouting the area, the rifles were back at the cabin).
We approached the person's right side and then my dad told me to stay put about 20yds away. I stayed and crouched down, watched him circle around to the from of the man all the while talking to him asking if he was ok.
He finally passed around to the from of the man and my dad stood straight up with a confused look on his face. I called out and said, “what’s wrong?” And he called back saying, “it’s a mannequin.” I walked over to it while my dad stood there staring and as I got closer one thing stood out the most, the clothes it was wearing were brand new. No dust, sap, bird droppings, or signs of being outside for more than any more than day at most.
At that moment I looked at my dad and could see him get worried. Almost immediately after I felt that feeling again, like we were being watched and I knew my dad felt it too. I wanted to start crying, I remember feeling suddenly so scared. My dad whispered, “we’re leaving right now.” He grabbed my hand and drew his pistol. He scanned the area the whole way back while I was trying to hold back panicked tears. We got back as fast as we could, I was terrified so it felt like an eternity but in reality was only about 45 mins max.
After returning we packed up and beat feet. We drove back home that day, and didn’t talk much on the way back. I remember right after we left my dad called his buddy, the owner of the land, and he was confused. He said that he would go check it out next week when he was in the area. He also said that he had never had an issue with people because his property was high fenced.
My dad normally isn’t a paranoid person but me being young and the lease possibly having someone there we didn’t know about, he decided to be cautious and just get out of there. After we got back home we talked and my dad wasn’t able to sleep the night before as well, he had the same feeling but didn’t want to wake me up because he thought I was sleeping too. Turns out that next week he got a call from his buddy and he checked the whole property and never found any trace of anyone, no mannequin or anything.
It still makes my hair stand on end. No idea what that was but the paranoid man in me thinks it was some kind of trap or something." Name withheld

As an “old school” science fiction aficionado, I found myself strangely attracted to the Syfy Channel’s new series, Resident Alien, which comes across as a dark comedic blend of the Starman movie (Columbia Pictures, 1984), featuring Jeff Bridges as the extraterrestrial, and the My Favorite Martian situation comedy produced by CBS Television from 1963-1966 starring Ray Walston and Bill Bixby. Resident Alien is based on the comic book of the same name produced by the creative writing and art team of Peter Hogan and Stephen Parkhouse over at Dark Horse Comics.
The new science fiction series follows Harry, an alien who crashes on Earth and passes himself off as a small-town doctor in Colorado. Resident Alien stars Alan Tudyk as the shapeshifting extraterrestrial, a veteran of such sci-fi productions as I, Robot, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Rogue One and Doom Patrol, where he played a wide variety of roles. According to a television survey conducted by NBC-Universal, the premiere episode of Resident Alien reached 9.3 million viewers. The popular program has already been renewed for a second season.
It was the popularity of this Syfy program, Resident Alien, that inspired me to write the following article, insofar as many readers of my Venus Rising series of books have expressed an interest in knowing about the real resident aliens that thrive in our midst. Scary Reptilian Aliens: “Be afraid….Very afraid.”
As early as 1953, the prominent anthropologist, Dr. George Hunt Williamson of Prescott, Arizona, warned about reptilian aliens from the vicinity of the Orion nebula arriving on our world with evil intentions toward all of us humans. He outlined this information in Book 3, Chapter 6, titled “The Intruders,” in his opus work, Other Tongues - Other Flesh (Amherst, Wisconsin: Amherst Press). Wrote Williamson: “The nebula of Orion is within our own galaxy and is a diffuse nebula…. “and, “The ‘Serpent People’ of ancient legend are believed to have been Orion intelligences projected Earthward. Is the fabulous ‘Rainbow City’ under the Antarctic region a central location for such projections? ‘Serpent People,’ ‘Anti-Christs,’ or ‘Intruders,’- they all represent the same thing: negative polarity.”
The good space people, primarily from the planets Venus, Mars and Saturn in our own solar system, then went on to describe the modus operandi of the evil beings from Orion, which Williamson relayed to inquiring minds on Earth in his conspiratorial book, Other Tongues – Other Flesh: “Orion is the great hunter of the Universe. It is gorgeous in the skies and men of Venus know it very, very well. It is somewhat erratic; and like a great hunter, it is always after its prey- especially Taurus the Bull. Orion is surrounded by small round-ball bodies. These are always in action between the Sun of our solar system and Orion. They are always ready for action and looking for trouble. Orion disturbs other planets and keeps them from operating in the correct manner. Also, Orion is not too highly evolved scientifically because they use the old-style craft. However, they are masters at projection.
“Orion interferes and holds back. People of Orion are not our kind of people. They do not belong to our Confederation. They interrupt and are unruly. At present time, there is a small group of people on Earth working for Orion. These people are sometimes small in stature with strange, oriental-type eyes. Their faces are thin and they possess weak bodies. They come among you to disperse all things not in keeping with their own ideas. They upset our plans. They run amuck and we avoid them. They prey on the unsuspecting. They are talkative; they astound intellects with their words of magnificence. While their wisdom may have merit, it is materialistic, and not of pure aspiration toward the Creator.
“We have our own personnel who watch over these pirates of Creation. They have their own Council and the Orion Confederation; but they know little through their own ingenuity for they are the universal parasites. Disturbers, negative elements- soon they will be eradicated. Watch out for controlled persons in your midst. Our personnel will spot them and you will be informed of them. They come often in disguise; but we of the Confederation are never deceived. We know them!
“The Orion people are the Intruders in your world and they come from planets belonging to countless star-suns engulfed by the nebula of Orion. If the Orion beings fail in their mission of disturbance, they return not to Orion, but to Sirius. This is their cycle of return. They must learn the Great Path. They will learn; but in the meantime, w will not have them disturb our preparations and plans for the Earth planet. We try to help them and suggest work to aid them; but they are a stubborn race.
“They cannot enter your atmosphere usually by spacecraft, but they can and do reach the Earth world by projecting their intelligence into weak Earthly bodies which they completely control for short periods of time in order to perform their disturbances. Watch for them. Their numbers increase as the ‘sorrows’ of Earth increase. They will persist, but they will not succeed. But we will succeed, for our mission of the Creator’s authority and by His will we shall prevail. Worry not about these Orion influences if you are counted among those who serve the Infinite Creator. Pity them. Love them. Pray for them. Do these things, for those from Orion and those who serve their interests know not what they do.”
From this cosmic awareness, we come to understand that an effort has been continually underway among the agents of the Confederation of Light, which is led by the Venusians, to contain the influence of the Reptilian beings from Orion who were, essentially, snatching- as they could- the bodies of Earthlings by downloading their own intelligences into their brains, hence taking over their minds. From at least 1953 until the rapid rise in alien abductions beginning with the well-known Betty and Barney Hill case in rural New Hampshire on 19-20 September 1961, it appears that the Reptilian agenda was kept in check by the Confederation of Light. Interestingly, it was at this same time that the good news of the contactees was eclipsed by these horrific tales of alien abductions, complete with probe insertions and abusive medical exams, to include the embedding of implants by the nasty aliens for longitudinal surveys of their victims.
As the contactee era was coming to a close, some in the ufology community sensed this emerging trend toward further Reptilian disturbances. In a letter dated 10 March 1959 to Gray Barker, publisher of the Saucerian Press in Clarksburg, West Virginia, UFO investigator George F. Haas of 2418 Dwight Way, Berkeley 4, California, wrote: “I am doing research in anthropoherpetology, that is, in the study of the Serpent Race or the reptile man, the anthroposaurian, the man-like snake. Reference to him is found in the legends, myths and fables, and in the religions of almost all peoples in all lands and ages.”
Haas informed Barker that he was, “now turning to the flying saucer or UFO field in search of traces of him (the serpent man) and I thought perhaps here you could help me.” In this regard, the ufologist specified that, “I am looking for UFO sightings or contact cases where the occupants are described as having Reptilian characteristics. A perfect example is the Braxton Monster case that is described in the United Press story (page 16 of your book, They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers) as a ‘half-man, half-dragon,’ and with a foul odor.”
By the 1990s, the English conspiratorial theorist David V. Icke popularized the idea of shape-shifting Reptilians from another dimension in outer space controlling the Earth’s social-political-economic system through a matrix of mind control.

Possible Skinwalker (Yee Naaldlooshii) / Witch Magic Ritual Observed in Phoenix, Arizona
A security guard describes a strange incident that occurred at the apartment complex he patrolled. It involved possible Skinwalker (Yee Naaldlooshii) ritual and native Navajo witch magic.
I recently found the following post on social media:
"I'm 37 (36 at the time of this encounter) and have always been interested in the paranormal. I've had a couple of encounters/experiences. I'd like to backtrack for a moment and emphasize that "interested in the paranormal" does not mean an outright believer. I'm certainly open to it, but more often than not I'll enter a situation with an agnostic attitude and instantly develop one of skepticism once I start assessing and evaluating everything. That being said, I do love a good mystery and don't think for a moment that people who believe in such things are lying or stupid. We all have our reasons for believing what we do.
I was working 1.5 jobs in 2019 (the .5 was as an on-call assistant private investigator) and the main one was as a security guard. We mainly did patrols for apartments and a small handful of residential contracts. This particular event took place at 19th Ave and Camelback which, if you're from Phoenix, you know is a pretty shady part of town. The apartments I patrolled were just south of there. They were predominantly low-income tenants, half of whom were refugees from all over the globe. The complex was well-known in the area for theft, violence, break-ins, drug dealing and so on. I liked patrolling it because I felt like I was helping people who genuinely needed it and the vast majority of them were very grateful that I was there. I got to know many of them very well and we would often talk and shoot the breeze before I had to start making my rounds again. One of the people I talked to was a native Navajo guy who I won't name for obvious reasons.
He was often on his balcony getting drunk and high (things which we were supposed to report, but f*ck that - as long as you weren't causing any trouble or making a lot of noise, I'm not saying sh*t about it) and would usually say "hi" to me when I arrived on post. We'd talk for a while then I'd start my shift. Never any real issues with the guy. He liked listening to his music, having a few beers and having a blunt or 2. Seemed like a nice guy. He had a tattoo on his chest of some Kachina dolls though I have no idea if they play into this encounter or not.
Anyway, in the summer of 2019 I was doing my rounds and around 830pm I hear him chanting loudly in his native language. I went to see if he was ok as he never did this before. When I got there he was inside so I kept doing my patrol until I heard it again not long after. I went back to his side of the complex and saw him, his pregnant fiancé and his son (whom I had never met before) coming down the stairs and he looked at me and said, "hey man, follow me."
When I was walking behind them I saw what looked like a giant knife in the son's hand but when we got to the parking lot I could see it was just a very large feather and his father had 2 smaller ones (maybe from a juvenile eagle?). When we entered the parking lot I saw a native woman standing there who I had kicked out earlier for being loud and yelling at a guy who was the roommate of the native tenant. I'd seen him before and knew he lived there but didn't know he was his roommate. I don't remember what they were arguing about this time but she had her 2 sons with her now, 10 years old and maybe a 6 month old in a stroller. They were going back and forth with each other and the father and son began taking the feathers and rubbing them on the children's faces while whispering in their language. The mother FLIPPED THE F*CK OUT. "Don't you put that f*cking evil on my babies you sick f*ck!" and so on. I was about to step in and tell them to stop when they stood up and said (in a very guilty voice), "we aren't doing anything to hurt the baby. That's why I even brought the security guard to make sure everything is ok." To which she replied "he doesn't know what the f*ck is going on!"
Truer words have never been spoken.
She then says, "if you guys aren't doing anything wrong, then do it on your pregnant fiancé's belly" the dad says "ok" and turns to his son to whisper something in his ear. Now it's the kids turn to flip out. He yells "you're still f*cking evil! I'm half Christian and I'm not doing this evil sh*t!" Etc, etc ,etc and takes off running. The dad and his fiancé yelled at him to come back and then he takes off after him. I'm stuck there trying to get the lady with the kids to leave (now for their own safety) and then I ran off looking for the dad and son. I didn't find them so just assumed they left the property and therefore weren't my problem any more.
Not long after I saw a fresh blood trail and vomit on the sidewalk and a knife near by it and walked back to the native guys balcony where I could now see him getting bandaged up by his fiancé due to having a HUGE gash on his forehead. I called the cops (I hated doing that but now it was serious). They came. I explained everything that had happened and they knocked on his door but there was no answer. They told me there was nothing they could do since it was a family issue and the dad that was attacked didn't want to talk to them, which makes sense I suppose from their point of view. No charges were ever filed.
The next day I spoke with the manager about the incident. He told me, "oh you mean Mike (not his real name)? Man, I've been keeping an eye on him. He moved here after he got let out of prison for manslaughter." If any of you are familiar with the process for becoming a skinwalker, you know that one of the big steps to take in order to become one involves murder.
I only saw the guy a few times afterwards and we never mentioned the incident again, but it was always in the back of my mind whenever I saw him.
For the record, I don't personally think people can turn into coyotes or wield magical powers (no disrespect intended to anyone at all!) However, I do think that some people think they are capable of such things.
Anyway, if someone who is more knowledgeable about these things has any ideas I'd love to hear them, particularly about the feathers and the Kachina tattoos. I knew a native guy years ago who had a specific tattoo put on him by a family member in case he ever got into prison so he couldn't be recruited by the Warrior Society (the native prison gang) and always wondered if they had any hand in the whole skinwalker thing in the southwest." Recent Upright Canine / Cryptid Sightings & Encounters Reported in Montgomery County, PA
A Pottstown, Pennsylvania resident and her friends have had sightings and strange encounters with a canine cryptid at various times and locations. We are investigating.
I recently received the following information:
"I was born and raised in Pottstown, PA and currently still live here. The sighting was an hour west from Philadelphia and half an hour away from Valley Forge. I ran into your FB page through "Weird Pennsylvania" or something similar to that which led me to the webpage "Phantoms & Monsters." I was reading some things and saw where people who had experienced encounters and sightings could email you with their story. I've had 2 experiences where I've seen things that I cannot explain. I'll start with the most recent.
Last year a friend and I went for a ride to catch up with our friend. It was in March 2020 on a Saturday night and it just so happened to be the weekend when the quarantine started. We were on Rt.422 around midnight and it was odd cause that highway's usually pretty busy on a Saturday night, but that night we saw maybe 3 cars within a 30 minute ride.
So we finishing visiting our friend and started to make our way back home. It was around 2:30-3am and we were going westbound on Rt.422 and again we were pretty much the only car on the road. There's a grass patch that divides the eastbound & westbound highway. We were in the fast lane between the Collegeville & Royersford exit when all the sudden we passed something to the left of us in the grass. We couldn't see it until we were right up on it and only could catch a glimpse of it for a second.
This thing looked like it was on all 4s maybe eating roadkill or something, but unfortunately I could only see it from like the waist/hips down. It was much bigger than a deer and had longer unkempt/straggly orangish-reddish fur, kind of like the color of a red fox but a little lighter in color. What really gets me was the legs on this thing. It had canine-like legs but they were huge and muscular. It just had that shape that instantly told me this thing was not something you want to f*ck with. The legs looked like the drawings I've seen of werewolves or something evil. Something told me that this thing could walk on 2 legs also.
After we passed it I asked my friend who was driving, "Did you see that"? He replied, "Yeah." I asked him, "What was that?" He replied "I don't know." Neither of us brought it up again during that ride because I think we were just trying to process what the hell did we just see and didn't want to sound crazy.
When I got home I told my boyfriend about it and he has no idea what kind of animal that lives around here that it could've been.
Next time I saw my friend, who had been driving that night, we both agreed that whatever we saw does not fit the description of ANY animals in the area and that it was scary looking. He calls it "The Beast."
A couple months later another friend was leaving my house and heard something across the street making a low guttural growling noise which scared him straight to his car and out of there. He was an animal control officer for years and says nothing around here would make that noise.
Then about a month after that my boyfriend was taking out the trash. When he got to the front door he heard something scratching at the door and sniffing loudly. He said it sounded like a pig grunt sound, but obviously it wasn't a pig.
This past October my friend was sitting in his car in my driveway waiting for me to come outside. I noticed his doors were locked when I went to get in the car. He said he heard something that sounded kind of human but didn't know what it was and it scared him. Once I got in his car I told him everything I just wrote here and I ended my story to him saying, "A few months ago I saw something on Rt.422” and before I could say anything else he said "I saw it to!" So I asked what color it was and he described the exact same fur I saw. Then he said "When I saw it, it was running on 2 legs across the highway and once it saw my car it took off really fast like nothing around here would be able to." My heart was beating so hard listening to him tell me this because I know he wasn't making it up.
I was glad someone else saw this thing. He doesn't know what it was but said it was about 7-8' tall and looked nefarious. He agreed its legs looked evil. He saw it around the same time of year as me and it was about the same time of night too. I drive this highway all the time and look for it every time but haven't seen it again.
That's about it for that story. I always wonder if any other people saw this thing and what the hell it was." W

Possible Bigfoot Encountered by Hunters Near Meridian, Texas
2 friends were hunting near Meridian, Texas in the late 1970s, when they encountered a large hairy cryptid attempting to hide behind a tree. The evidence and their assumption was that this was a Bigfoot.
I recently came across the following account:
"This happened in the late 70s as far as my father can remember. He was a teen out hunting in the woods with his friend. This was a ways outside of Meridian, Texas, on a fall evening.
My father and his friend spent a lot of time messing around in the woods doing typical teen stuff. Firing off bottle rockets, hunting raccoons, underage drinking sometimes. But this day they were going hunting for squirrels, so when they set out my dad grabbed his .22 rifle. It was just a basic Ruger or something, with a cheap scope on it.
His friend had a really badass Weimaraner that wasn’t scared of anything. He would run up to bulls and chase them, he would get in scraps with bobcats, and he would chase off raccoons. He was walking along with them in the woods that day.
He said that there was an old creek bed they would always go mess around in so that’s where they started. The walls of the creek bed were about 5-6ft high. So they hopped down into it and casually walked along, half heartedly looking at the trees and such.
All of a sudden my dad said the Weimaraner started whimpering and wouldn’t come any further. It hung back about 10ft from them refusing to continue no matter what they said. A few seconds later he said that it tucked its tail and ran off back into the direction of the house. This made them confused but they just shrugged it off. They took a couple steps further, about 60yds where the creek bed took a hard right turn and elevated up on the banks were some trees.
Now the sun was setting behind the trees, and beyond those couple trees was an open field. So you could see the sun setting relatively clearly. His friend stopped him and said, “hey do you see that” and pointed in the direction of one of the trees.
My dad said that he could see the outline of something big and seemingly hairy behind the tree peeking out at them. They weren’t sure what it was so they called out, “hey, we’re just hunting, are we cool?” No response or movements. My dad thought maybe it was some sort of huge porcupine, not uncommon in the area. He held up his rifle and looked through the scope to try and figure out what it was.
Since the sun was setting behind whatever it was, it was hard for him to see any detail due to the sunlight, but my dad told me what he could see freaked him out. He said that all he could make out was a large black fur covered head and shoulder peeking out. As he was looking at it, what he described as a large ape-like hand grab the tree trunk.
My dad froze and his friend asked him what he saw. My dad just shook his head and handed his buddy the rifle. His friend saw it too and was equally freaked out.
They sat here for a minute just staring at it, both them and whatever the creature was, it was not moving. My dad has always said that he didn’t know what came over him, maybe just teenage hubris, but he suggested they go check it out.
Both he and his friend clambered up the left side of the embankment and when they got to the top the creature had ducked back behind the tree.
They slowly approached, and circled around the tree, my dad keeping the rifle handy. He always said that he didn’t know why because that small of caliber wouldn’t have done much of anything against something that big. They both circled around the tree and it turned out that there was nothing there, it was just gone. They didn’t know where something that big could have run off to in that short amount of time without them seeing it, but nevertheless they checked the area just to see if they could find any sign of what it was.
Turns out they found two depressions where it would have been standing, but due to the fall leaf litter there wasn’t any definition to the tracks. He did say that whatever it was, was big and heavy. The tracks were about 14 inches in length, then he went on to say that they estimated the creature to be about 8ft tall at the most. Other than the tracks there was nothing else to be found. No smell, no fur, no additional tracks, nothing in the tree itself, nothing.
Afterwards he said they decided to just go back to the house and never really mentioned it to anyone, or each other, after that.
My dad does love the paranormal but is a healthy skeptic when I comes to stuff. That event, he says, made him become a believer in Bigfoot. And after having my own encounter I’ve come to believe in something as well. I’m not saying it’s Bigfoot, but I think something IS out there that hasn’t been explained." Name withheld

Little Red Humanoid Under the Wooden Chair
An English child encounters a small red-colored humanoid in a fetal position under a wooden chair at home. When his parents investigate, the being disappears. 48 years later, the memory is still vivid.
The following account was posted in the MUFON CMS:
It was June 24, 1973 and I was about 10 years old. We lived at The Cottage, Woodfield Ave, SW16, which was located in a rural part of London.
I had been playing cricket with my Grandfather in the garden two days prior to the event and I’d hit a long drive over the wicket, smashing through a glass panel in the bay window of my parents bedroom.
On the day in question, I had been playing with my friend Bobby who lived opposite. I had been signaling him using my Major Matt Mason toy, through the hole I had made with the cricket ball. The glass cut through the cable and the toy fell into a bush below.
Later that evening I went into the bedroom, knowing that was the last place I remember having it. I rushed in, went past the wood armchair, round the side of the bed. I couldn’t see it, so went I back into my room next door and then back again to my parent's room. I went past the wooden chair I detected a warm dark little presence under the chair and assumed it was one of the cats.
Still on the hunt for my toy, I repeated the same search pattern and went next door again. Upon my third search of retracing my steps, I remembered I had broken the cord and it fell. As I turned to go and retrieve it I had a look to see which cat it was under the chair. I looked and stared, blinked, looked away in disbelief and back again. Nope, it’s still there. I did this a couple of times. It was still there.
Sitting in a fetal position was a small bipedal creature, like a small person with arms, legs, a skeletal rib cage and a stomach area that resembled ours when you suck your stomach up into your rib cage. It was the skinniest thing I have ever seen. I couldn’t see its mouth and it had jet black eyes that wrapped around each side of it head and did not blink. 'The entity was identical in colour to a hornet with shiny red skin. To me it appeared to be naked.
I said, 'Wow! What are you?' It didn’t answer.
I was really excited at first and asked ‘Can you talk?' It didn’t answer. I was tempted to sit in the same position but feared that I might be vulnerable to attack and was a little worried that it might bite me. I moved to the other side of the chair, a little nearer the door.
I asked, ‘Do you live in the garden?' It didn’t answer. I felt a quite self-conscious and a little foolish, like I expecting a response from a squirrel or a rabbit. This must be something natural that I have just not learned about yet. It was alive, naked and unthreatening. I had passed within a foot of it and it had not attacked me. It just stared at me with those big black eyes. I had considered capturing it and thought that might not be wise. I didn’t want to hurt it.
At this point I started to feel quite nervous and could only think, ‘Unknown. 'Unknown’ over and over again. I don’t think it meant me any harm and I regret losing my nerve and running downstairs to tell my father that there was a man in bedroom. Which is not exactly what I meant to say, it just came out wrong.
My father rushed upstairs closely followed by me. It had gone. When I explained, my mum looked freaked out and my father didn’t believe me. My mother said that children sometimes see things that adults can’t. Which was a polite way of saying that we don’t believe you. You are making it up. This made me feel foolish, so I suppressed this memory and put it in a box and forgot all about it.
I am 58 now and wish to state for the record, that even though I was not believed at the time. All of this is true."

Strange & Unexplained Night at Fort Hood, Texas
2 U.S. Army soldiers were stationed at Fort Hood, Texas when they encountered unexplained activity while guarding artillery late one night. What do you think it was?

"This event took place about 1992. I was just a young man and in the military. I was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas at the time. Those of you that are familiar with Fort Hood will know what I am talking about when I say North Fort Hood. For those of you that are not let me try to explain so you will better understand why we were where we were when this happened. Fort Hood is a very large military base. It is probably one of the largest military bases by land in the United States. The main base where you would find all of the buildings and motor pools full of vehicles and so forth is just called "Fort Hood." It is on the south end of the overall land that comprises Fort Hood and just outside it's gates is the town of Killeen. Most of Fort Hood is wilderness. That wilderness is training area for soldiers to go and train in and there is also a large impact area for the artillery units that have to train with their cannons. At the far northern end of the base there is a small complex called "North Fort Hood." It takes about 30 or 40 minutes to drive from the main base up to North Fort Hood. In the early 1990s there was not much in the way of buildings or infrastructure at North Fort Hood.
The unit I was assigned to had to calibrate a piece of equipment and that meant that it had to be set up and left in place for about a week while the calibration took place. I'm not going to get into the details about this equipment and it's not vital to the story anyway. What is important to note is that we had to set this equipment up at North Fort Hood during the process. During the day we had some soldiers who were there working on calibrations but at night we obviously were not just going to leave this expensive equipment unguarded. So every night we would leave two soldiers with the equipment to keep an eye on things and make sure nothing happened to it. It was very easy duty by every measure. There was a tent to stay in and plenty of food. Soldiers who stayed the night to guard the equipment got the next day off. Basically we would just sit in the tent, play cards or some other game and just keep an eye on things. It was basically camping.
I volunteered to take a Thursday night as my turn at guard duty. This was because I had vacation (leave time) starting the following Monday. My rationale was simple. Take guard duty on Thursday night, get Friday off and start my leave time early. It was myself and another young soldier who was a friend of mine. Both of us were just kids. I had just turned 21 and I believe he was just 19 or so. Keep in mind that this is 1992 so, while cell phones did exist, they were by no means as prolific as they are now. It was actually pretty rare to see a person with a cell phone and when you did they were in these big leather carrying bags. They were huge and we called them bag phones and they were very expensive. Needless to say, neither of us had a cell phone. Why is that important? Because we were dropped off for guard duty around 5 PM and everyone else left. We had no vehicle and no way to communicate with anyone. We were entirely alone if anything happened and of course we were not expecting anything to happen. It was, after all, very easy duty. Watch the equipment, play some cards, eat some chow, no problem.
We were sitting in the tent when the first winds started to kick up and I noticed some storm clouds moving in from the west. Now whoever they had set that hex tent up apparently had no interest in doing it properly because as the winds got worse the tent was really leaning as though it might fold at any moment. Clearly we were about to get hit with a pretty severe thunderstorm and anyone who has ever lived in central Texas can tell you that the storms there can blow up quick and be pretty violent. Fortunately for us there was a deuce and a half truck there with a shelter on the back. For those that don't know a deuce and a half is a large 6 wheel drive truck and if you want to get an idea what they look like you can Google M35A2 truck. This particular truck had a shelter on the back and that is where we retreated to in order to get out of the path of the approaching storm. Before anyone asks I should note that we could not drive the truck away from the camp site because it was needed for the calibration and we would not abandon our post anyway. This falls under the first general order and anyone who has ever been in the Army knows what I mean.
So we secured ourselves in the shelter while the storm passes and it was a typical Texas frog strangler to be sure. Miraculously the tent did not blow over and I was surprised by that. Still, we decided to stay in the back of the truck until dawn as we had already moved one of our cots inside. We finally laid down about 10 PM and it was very quiet. This is a very remote area and while we were in a clearing next to a runway, there were no buildings present and all around this airstrip was just woods. Today there are buildings there as I have recently looked at the location on Google maps. At any rate, we had left the door on the shelter just slightly open for two reasons.
Because the shelter had no power running to it so there was no airflow going through it. Shutting the door would have left us susceptible to the effects of carbon monoxide. We needed fresh air.
We needed to be able to hear what was going on outside.
We decided to take turns getting some rest although we had been told we were allowed to sleep if we wanted to. We were still on base and there was absolutely no reason to expect that anything at all was going to happen. My friend was on the cot by the door of the shelter and I was on the floor at the other end. I felt like I had just dozed off when I was shaken violently awake. It was my friend and as I sat up he was pulling the door to the shelter closed and trying to put a lock on it by using the light from his wrist watch. He was obviously very upset and scared. It was the kind of fear that cannot be faked as if he was trying to prank me. This was primal fear. I kept asking him what was wrong and he finally managed to tell me that something had grabbed him by the foot and tried to pull him from the shelter. My first thought was that he had dozed off and had a nightmare. He was insistent that he had not and even stated that whatever had grabbed him had said to him "we'll be back for you" and let him go as he was shaking me awake. I wasn't sure if it was a prank or not but my gut instinct was that he was petrified and his hands were shaking as he tried to lock the shelter door so there must be some truth to it. I told him that we couldn't leave the door closed because of carbon monoxide. I was the higher ranking so technically I was in charge. He refused to stay by the door if it was going to be open even a little bit so I agreed to switch places with him.
I opened the door just a couple of inches and laid down on the cot, still believing he had just had a really bad nightmare. He was on the floor at the other end of the shelter. Within a few minutes some pretty strange things began to happen. There were scratching sounds on the shelter. Scratching on the sides, on the top and on the front where the cab of the truck was. A few times the door moved ever so slightly but never opened. Needless to say that by this time I was convinced that something or someone was definitely outside and both of us were pretty scared. I reached to the end of the cot I was on and pulled out the metal cross member that is used to give it tension. After that I felt around under the cot and found a wooden handle to a pick axe. In the Army we call these pioneering tools but most of you will know it as a pick axe handle without the pick axe part at the end. This I handed to my friend and I instructed him that if anyone opened the door to the shelter we were going to start beating them with our makeshift weapons and don't stop beating until whoever it is was was down on the ground and not moving.
The scratching on the exterior of the shelter continued intermittently throughout the night. We made no effort to call out to whomever or whatever it was. I think we were both just in fight mode. If anyone had pulled the door to the shelter fully open I had full intentions of fighting for all I was worth. I am certain my friend felt the same way. Eventually it began to get light outside and as the sky began to get light the scratching stopped. We stayed in the shelter for another 40 or 50 minutes until the sun was fully up. At that point I said that I was going to push the door all the way open, jump off the back of the truck and if he saw anyone just start swinging. So I counted to three, flung the door open and jumped off the truck. When you are 21 you can jump off of a deuce and a half and it doesn't hurt. Now I would be far more cautious lol. At any rate, there was nothing; not a soul. We looked all around the truck and the camp. Nothing. What I noticed immediately was that while we were leaving boot tracks in the still wet ground, there were no other tracks around the truck at all. I began to look for loose items on the shelter that might account for the scratching sound. Nothing. I didn't know whether to feel relieved or still be on edge.
We packed up our gear and about 30 minutes later the relief NCO arrived in a HMMWV (Humvee). He wasn't even fully out of the truck and we were putting our stuff in it to leave. He laughingly remarked that we seemed really ready to go. We never told him a thing. In fact we never said anything to anyone in our unit about what happened. We probably should have but I think we were afraid we would be laughed at. At any rate, I got behind the wheel of the HMMWV and my friend got in the back on the passenger side. I drove down the road a ways and came to a stop at the main highway that we would take to get back down to Fort Hood. At that moment there came a clear, loud and distinct clap of thunder. I leaned out the window and looked up and then I looked back at my friend who was in the back of the truck and he said something I'll never forget. "There ain't a fuckin cloud in the sky man." I believe I probably set a record for the fastest drive back to Fort Hood in a HMMWV that morning.
I'm not one to believe in this stuff. I think a lot of this paranormal stuff is just active imaginations or people making it up. But something happened to us that night and I will never forget it. It scared the hell out of me and I don't ever want to experience it again. That's my story and it is 100% true." B
NOTE: I don't know if this is relevant, but there have been several odd reports from Fort Hood in the past, including a upright canine encounter. Not sure what these guys witnessed. Lon
