An interview with author Phil Taylor
Thank you to Elle of The Road To Elle for interviewing me for her blog.
Do you think humour differs significantly between countries or cultural groups?
There are definitely differences. The Americans are much funnier than the Brits. No, I’m just kidding. I love my blogging friends from the U.K. and I laugh at their posts all the time. I don’t know if the differences between cultures or countries are significant, but I think there are some. I like the differences though becaus...

TBT! The Guy Code of Conduct: Public Bathroom Etiquette
I went way way back in time for this one. This post is from October of 2006. I used to have an intermittent series of posts called The Guy Code of Conduct. This was one of the more popular ones.
[image error]Toilet sign – men, women, hipsters
(10/2/2006) As is well known, women have the “never go to a public restroom alone” rule. Women also have several other rules devoted to their bathroom habits, but to imply that I know them would say something bad about me. I’m not sure what, but I’m pretty sure it wo...

I’m Doing a Blog Award? 7 Random Facts About Me
Yup, first time ever. The reason? Gary Jeffries, another blogger who shows kindness and support for just about every blogger he comes in contact with with. In twelve years I’ve never done one of these, but because Gary of Fiction is Food nominated me, I decided to join in the fun.

Top Ten Tuesday! Ten Petty Things I Would Do With Time Travel
To celebrate the release of my new suspense, time travel novel earlier this month, I thought I’d share some of the things I’d do if I could time travel. In the comments, tell me what you’d do if you could time travel!

Dr. Who flies about the universe saving entire civilizations, but what if someone petty and small like you and me decided to time travel? C’mon, you know that you’ve thought about what you would do. If not, here are some suggestions:

Crime Fighting Robots Prevent The Apocalypse
Daily Express
Some guy named David Meade predicted that the end of the world would begin today. Some other guy named Phil Taylor (Me) predicted in this blog post from January 1st that the world would not end this year. Looks like we’ve got a showdown. Go ahead, read the blog post. Also, note in that blog post I predicted Princess Kate would get pregnant again. Obviously my track record as a psychic is pretty good. David Meade’s, not so much. So who are you going to believe?

Time to Lie — Book Review
Thank you to James Clark for taking the time to read and review my novel Time To Lie!
James Clark -- The Next Iteration
Parental Advisory: I’m opining an ERSB Rating of PG-13 on this book for profanity, sexual references, graphic images, and violence.
I’m giving it a quality rating of 4 stars, but only because it’s more earth-bound than the 5-star rating I reserve for books floating around in the troposphere alongside the likes of “David Copperfield”, “Huck Finn”, “The Time Machine”, and “The...

Throwback Thursday! Dirty Dancing with The Stars
I wrote this last year when I was particularly pleased with the choice of contestants.

(09/17/16) To be honest, I’ve never watched an episode, but then again, when has having only half-assed knowledge of anything stopped me from making fun of it? I was first going to write one of my Pop Culture Commando posts where I hit on several trending pop culture topics, but…
