My New Book: Coming Friday!

Yes, for the first time in 3 1/2 years, I have a new book coming out Friday Sept. 1st and I’m signed with Amber Cove Publishing! Here’s the synopsis of my novel. It’s not anything heavy or serious. It’s a fun, weekend beach read type of book that will be perfect for the Labor Day weekend in the States.

Time to Lie

Remember that time you dated that complete nutcase and said to yourself, I wish Future Me would have come back and warned me about this. Remember when you and your drunk friends s...

Guest Post by Steve McSteveface: Have You Had A Dream Come True?

Have You Had A Dream Come True? Everyone had childhood dreams when they were little about what they want to do in their life.

Many adults may now think, in the words of S Club 7, that they’ve “never had a dream come true“. Is that true though? Let’s have a little think about it…

When I had this thought I re-visited my childhood, the dreams that I had and I was actually quite surprised at how many of...

Rest In Peace Jay Thomas

Most of us know actor, comedian, radio personality Jay Thomas as a character actor. He’s one of those actors whose name sounds familiar and when you see his picture you say, “Oh yeah! I’ve seen him in stuff.”

Jay first became a familiar face in my childhood when he played Remo DaVinci working at the pizza shop frequented by Mork & Mindy.

On Cheers in the late 80’s he played Eddie LeBec, the hockey playing husband of sarcastic waitress Carla. For three seasons in the 90’s he played lead cha...

Rise of a D-List Supervillain! (and a surprise announcement)

“Being a supervillain means never having to say you’re sorry . . .” In 2012 I had finished one book on my Kindle and was poking around the “Recommendations For You” section for another good read. I came across Confessions of a D-List Supervillain and I loved it. It was a fun, unique story that had a different feel to it. Since then I’ve read the two sequels that followed Confessions and was eagerly awaiting the fourth in the series

If you haven’t read any of Jim Bernheimer’s D-List Superv...

Death Doesn’t Have To Be Boring!

I read a news report of a (American football) Philadelphia Eagles fan who sadly passed away too young last week. People passing away everyday isn’t usually newsworthy outside of their friends and family. This one was however because he wrote his own obituary in which he requested  “8 Philadelphia Eagles as pall bearers so they can let me down one last time.” I don’t know whether the team obliged and sent the pall bearers, but good on the guy for trying.

Death. I hate it and will do anything...

TBT! It’s The End of The World As we Know It…

Because the solar eclipse earlier this week brought out a few “end of the world” zealots, I thought I’d repost this classic Phil Factor from 2009 just to remind everyone that we have nothing to worry about. The world’s not going to end until 4077.

(Oct. 13, 2009) “It’s the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.”–R.E.M.

The Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012. Many people believe this is a prophecy of the end of the world. First of all if the world ends on December 21st that wi...

A New Book by Teagen Riordain Geneviene!

Announcing the Launch of
Murder at the Bijou — Three Ingredients I

Introducing the second “three things” serial, in novel form Murder at the Bijou — Three Ingredients I.

Bijou front only 2

Yes, that’s the cover. (I love making covers!) I kept it similar to the one for the first serial, The Three Things Serial Story, but with different 1920s photos.

For those of you who are not familiar with my blog serials…

Ages ago I developed a writing exercise. I asked friends to give me three completely random things. T...
