Another Great Review for Time To Lie!

This is a review on Goodreads.com from a complete stranger who listened to the audiobook that somehow he got for free from a website that I’ve never heard of.

I am so glad I got the chance to listen to this one. A cheeky mix of a coming of age story for a young man, a guide to time travel and college parties. A very cool listen. If you are like me and loved Karate Kid then this story will make you laugh and definitely keep your attention for a few hours. The characters are very likable and y...

Daylight Stupid Time

This is my bi-annual reminder that this weekend in the U.S. we move our clocks back by an hour and my reminder that it’s stupid. I’ve been posting this every Fall and Spring since 2006 and will continue to do so until we do away with Daylight Savings Time.

When I’m elected President, or Sexiest Man Alive, whichever comes first, I’m going to pass a law getting rid of Daylight Savings Time. I don’t know if other countries do this. I do know that not all the U.S. states abide by it. Daylight S...

Throwback Thursday! Facebook Just Might Save Your Life

(11/5/2016) In all likelihood, my blog is more likely to save your life, but this week a study was released implying that moderate use of Facebook leads to a longer life. That’s hard to believe, because seeing posts that say, “Only my real friends will copy and paste this into their status…” makes me want to shorten the life span of so many, many people. Wordless Wednesday! Phil Is On A Vacation Far Away…

Phil is on a vacation far away. Come around and talk it over…

That’s from the song Your Love by The Outfield. One of the most popular songs about cheating ever made.

I’ll be on vacation for the next few days so I’m not sure how much I’ll be blogging, but please, by all means keep visiting my blog. I’ll still be responding to comments. Have a great week! ~Phil

A Halloween Top Ten: Ten Ways People Ruin Halloween

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. If I wasn’t a full grown adult I’d dress up and go Trick or Treating. I do have some pet peeves though about people who don’t share my love of this holiday.

10. “Fun Size” candy: There is nothing fun about a candy bar so small that it wouldn’t give a sugar rush to a hummingbird. For cripes sake! It’s once a year, you can splurge for the full size.

9. Turning Out Your Lights: Are you the house that turns out your lights and hides in a back room preten...
