Real Sexting Conversations To Read in Hindi?

Over the past three months or so the title of this post has been appearing repeatedly in the list of search terms that brought people to my blog. Hindi is one of the official languages of India, where approximately 94% of the world’s Hindi speaking people reside. I don’t speak or write in Hindi, nor have I ever, yet through some modern miracle of Google technology, sexting in Hindi is apparently what search engines think my blog is about, so I figured what the heck? Why not put it in the titl...

Top Ten Tuesday! Ten Dead Famous People I Wish Were Still Alive

I don’t mean in a Living Dead or Monkey’s Paw sort of way of course. For all of us there have been people of notoriety in their field that touched us with their work or art. Often we feel that people with brilliant talent always die too soon and although we don’t know them, we miss them. Here is my list of 10 Dead Famous People that I Wish Were Still Alive:

10. Leonardo DaVinci:In addition to his incredible artistic talent (see ceiling, Sistine Chapel and David statue, which I posed for) he a...

Monday Music! The Phil Factor has reached an All Time Low

This is the new song/video from All Time Low, my son’s favorite band, that we are going to see live in May for the 5th time.

I’ve grown to like this band quite a bit for several reasons. Because my son likes them so much his band, Nothing Personal, will usually cover one of All Time Low’s songs every time they play, so I’ve grown to know and like their songs. Also I like them because this is a picture of the lead singer, Alex Gaskarth, sitting alongside the drummer Rian Dawson, holding a sti...

How You Say Good-bye May Say a Lot About You

Don’t wanna be a fool for you
Just another player in your game for two
You may hate me but it ain’t no lie,
Baby Bye, bye, bye…
Bye Bye ~N’SYNC, Bye, Bye, Bye

Some people are good at good byes and others…not so much. Adios, auf widersehen, good-bye, sayonara, bye, cheerio, buh bye, ciao, and bye bye are all ways to break company with someone. I was going to open this post with song lyrics about good byes from Train, but I couldn’t resist. It’s as if N’SYNC wrote that song just for me. Actuall...

The Anti-Social Network: Let’s Fix Facebook, If Only For a Day

This is sort of my Throwback Thursday post, but I’ve decided to make this an annual thing. Two years ago I started theFacebook National No Re-Post Day and, in spite of my much smaller number of readers at the time, the idea caught on and was shared across the interwebs. Like the Groundhog, it’s time for it’s annual appearance. Read the rest and share.

Just last weekend I noticed it. I looked at my Facebook page and I thought,Facebook is broken. This isn’t the Facebook I signed up for. When I...

Top Ten Tuesday! Ten Reasons Cats are Better Than Dogs

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to those that are Irish and those that are Irish just for today! Last week I gave dogs and the dog people their due in the worlds oldest debate. This week it’s the cats turn. Don’t worry, I have no plans to continue comparing animals.

10.Cattitude:You’ve got to respect their aloofness. They’re not all needy like dogs. If you’re gone 5 minutes, a dog acts like you’ve returned from the Bataan Death March while your cat just checks his watch and goes back to sleep.

9. Po...
