Fire and Ice is here!!!

I cannot say enough how blessed i feel that my first little book got picked up by a literary agent so i could pull out of my first crappy publisher (who shouldn't even be calling themselves publishers because frankly they are ripping authors off!!)
Now that i'm free of the con, Fire and ice has gone through a facelift and tummy tuck and lyposuction, and has come out the other side a new book!

It received a new cover... (see above. How pretty is it??)

A new title... it was previously named The Chronicles of Fire and Ice, now renamed The Legend of the Archangel: Fire and Ice which i feel fits the rest of the series.

 and a brand new Blurb...

Archangels are extinct and the world is inhabited by a half-human/half-angel race called Nephilim. But one Archangel remains – a child born of fire known as The Legend.
21-year-old Nephilim Scarlett Porter is starting her Angel training at the infamous Blackbell Academy, so she doesn’t have time to worry about dreams of mysterious dark angels. The last thing she expected was her dream angel to be Dyston Blackbell, or that finding her was part of his mission – one Dyston is prepared to fail to keep Scarlett safe.
Danger is closer to Dyston and Scarlett than they realize. War is brewing, led by The Lucifites, and they need The Legend to carry out their plans. With the help of their friends, the two must find the Lucifites’s leader, and stop his plans for destruction. But will Dyston and Scarlett’s love survive? How far will Scarlett go to save those she loves most?

Yesterday i relaunched the book to a astounding turnout at the party! Seriously surprised how amazing people are! and starting tomorrow 12th december  (in the US.) to the 22nd december, Fire and Ice will be on tour!

I currently have quite a few giveaways going on to celebrate!

Firstly, I am offering up a signed bookmark to the first reviewer.

Secondly, there's a chance to win an exclusive google hangout with me if you are one of the most voted for reviewers!

And lastly, to those who are participating in my blog tour, you will be put in a draw to win a signed copy of the Fire and Ice cover!!

My Review:
I love paranormal romance and this book doesn't disappoint! It had angels, demons, Lucifer, witches... seriously, some of my favourite things to read about!
As this is the author's first work, i can tell she has room to grow as an author, but this book is great as a first book!
I recommend it to all who love a good paranormal romance!
4/5 stars!

TEXT by Cambria Herbert- Release Day Blitz

Text by Cambria Hebert
(Take It Off )
Publication date: November 8, 2013
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult

Synopsis:
One text can change everything.

Honor Calhoun never thought her life would ever be like the books she writes for a living. One morning while out for a run, she learns not all bad things are plots in novels. Some horrors can actually come true.

She faces off with a persistent attacker, holds her own, but in the end is taken hostage and thrown into a hole. In the middle of the woods.

But Honor didn’t go down there alone.

She took her kidnapper’s phone with her. With a spotty signal and a dying battery, her hope is slim.

Nathan Reed is an active duty Marine stationed at a small reserve base in Pennsylvania. All he wants is a calm and uneventful duty station where he can forget the memories of his time in a war-torn country.

But a single text changes everything.

Nathan becomes Honor’s only hope for survival, and he has to go against the clock, push aside his past, and take on a mission for a girl he’s never met.

Both of them want freedom… but they have to survive long enough to obtain it.
Excerpt #2 TEXT by Cambria Hebert **This is copyrighted material by author Cambria Hebert**
All I heard was his breathing. The pounding of my heart. I felt the rush of blood draining to my head and the sharp stab of pain every time his shoulder gouged into my stomach. I don’t know how long he walked. I don’t know how long I’d been gone, how long I’d been passed out. The sun was higher in the sky, which told me it must have been a while. We could be anywhere. His steps slowed, and my entire body stiffened. Was this it?Were these the last moments of my life?I noticed something then… the bulge in the back pocket of his jeans. The top of a cell phone peaked out, tempting me. He stopped walking altogether. Silence rained upon us. Not even a bird dared make a noise. I was presented with a choice. This entire day had been nothing but a series of choices, of attempts at gaining freedom. I lurched my body to the right, rolling off his shoulder and down his arm. He swore and threw me back up. I made an intense gagging sound, not all of it made up (his shoulder really hurt my gut). He leaned forward like he was trying to get away from a shower of puke, and my body went with him. I flailed my arms about like I needed help, quickly making my move. Then I gagged again. He made a disgusted sound and pulled me off him, pushed me away, and held me out. Our eyes met one final time. And then he let go.I braced myself for the brunt of the hard ground. Only it didn’t come. My body was forced into a free-fall.I dropped from the air, the bottom falling out of my stomach as my arms and legs searched for something—anything—to catch myself with. But there was nothing. The longer I fell, the darker it became. Until the sunlight was just a beacon above. And then I hit. My teeth banged together, biting into my tongue and filling my mouth with the tang of blood. I blinked, trying to rid my head of the throbbing, but it didn’t help. I looked up… up past the tall dirt walls of my prison, up to the tiny round hole at the top.My captor stood there staring down, watching me, not saying a word.I lay there unmoving, feeling the damp, cold dirt at my back and against my legs. I lay there and stared at him, hoping he would think I was dead, that the fall broke my neck. He stood there a long time. Staring.Watching.Waiting. And then he stepped away, disappearing from sight, leaving nothing above me but the image of trees and sunlight. I lay there a little bit longer, wondering if he would come back. When I thought it was safe, I began to wiggle my prize out of the sleeve of my running jacket, jiggling it down into the palm of my hand.A shadow fell overhead, and I stopped breathing. He returned. He stared at me some more. I lay there still unmoving, gripping my lifeline in my hand. Finally, he grunted. And he said three words that scared me more than death itself.“I’ll be back.”

Betraying Innocence SynopsisOctober 31, 1983, seventeen year old Johnny Baits vanishes without a trace, leaving the slumbering town of Chipawaha Creek, British Columbia reeling with his mysterious disappearance. Twenty-nine years later, The French family moves into his home, never realizing they're not alone in the house.
For seventeen year old Roseanna French moving to a strange new town is a problem she can handle. But even she's not prepared for the evil that has been sitting dormant for years... waiting. When seemingly harmless noises and creeping shadows at night leads to the murder of the people closest to her, Ana has to find a way to stop the evil before it can consume her completely

and she can no longer wash the blood from her hands.

Rafael Ramirez is battling his own demons. Unlike Ana's, his has been haunting him for years. But running isn't an option. He has a mother, a brother and a sister looking to him to keep them safe. He doesn’t have time for pretty girls with issues, even if the sight of her makes him hope for things a guy like him doesn’t deserve. But when Ana asks Rafe for help, what can he do except give it? But what happens when the evil comes after his family? Can they stop it before it's too late or will it claim them the way it had claimed Johnny?
Excerpt“Where is he?” he growled, doing a circle.“Where is he?”“I … I think he’s gone,” Ana croaked, fighting not to give into the fainting sensation beckoning her to sway into its arms. Rafe hurried over to her and took her hand. “Come on!” She let herself be dragged up the path to the house, positive she would never have made it there on her own. On the porch, he stopped and faced to her, his eyes intense. “Get inside and lock the door.”Ana wanted to laugh. If she could’ve stopped shivering, stopped her teeth from chattering, her heart from going crazy in her chest, she would have reminded him that a closed door didn’t apply to ghosts. That locked or not, it wouldn’t stop that thing from getting inside. But there was something else, another reason that going inside wouldn’t help.“He’s in there,” she told him, tears suddenly burning her eyes. Her bottom lip trembled.“What?” He yanked her away from the open door and thrust her behind him. “Where?”She sniffled, wanting so desperately to just bury her face into the planes of his back and cry. “In my room,” she whispered, absolutely certain of this now. “He’s inside my walls.”It no longer mattered if he thought her insane. Her problems were so much bigger, so much more frightening. Plus, was she crazy if he’d seen it too? If he’d fought it? Was she still insane?Rafe didn’t look disbelieving. He looked horrified and angry. His eyes widened, darting between her and the door. “What was that thing, Ana?”“I don’t know!” she cried, no longer able to stop the flood of tears that washed down her face, mixing with the pond water. “I don’t know! I don’t know! I thought I was crazy. I thought … I’m not crazy! You saw him. You saw him, didn’t you? I’m not—”She was suddenly in his arms, held so tight it was almost impossible to breathe. But it wasn’t close enough. “Shh,” he whispered into her temple. “You’re not crazy. I saw him, too.”

My Review:

Everything this woman writes is gold. I knew we would have another winner/ bestseller on our hands. Airicka really knows how to write scenes that make you feel like you are there with the characters, and she can write some pretty sexy book boys as well! Another thing she does well is suspense and terrifiying situations. I literally felt sick reading about what happened to the Mayor's son. Read this in the dark, i dare you!

My Review: Reflections, book 2 in the Whisper Cape saga, follows the story of Maia and Gerry's love. The author feels more in touch with her characters in this book and I really felt what they were feeling, especially Addie's anguish at the end. My review: *Contains spoilers* Wow! A Secret Fate is the perfect ending to a wonderful series! I am totally in love with Caddie (my name for the ship of Addie and Cael) and was so so pleased that everything worked out for them in the end. Although Cael never fully regains his memories, i love the way Addie was able to show him what he had missed through the crystal. I loved their kids, Maddi and Shane, and would have loved to know a bit more about Gerry and Maia's twin girls, i hope Susan writes a spin off surrounding these marvelous gifted children! Oh and i love the fact Addie wrote a book about them! The Whisper Cape trilogy will forever go onto my list of favourite paranormal romance series! If you haven't made a visit to Whisper Cape, what the hell are you waiting for?
5/5 stars.

About Susan
I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, spending most of my time daydreaming or playing around in the mud. I grew out of the mud play, well, most of the time, a good soak in the mud is always fun. I still daydream often and sometimes my daydreams interrupt my daydreams. So I write to remember them. If I didn't write, I think my mind would explode from an overload of fantasy and weirdness. To the annoyance of my friends and family, my characters sometimes become a part of my world. During my childhood, I would frequently get in trouble in school for daydreaming. Eventually, my vivid imagination paid off and I had the privilege of writing and co-directing my sixth-grade class play—a dreadful disaster, though not from my writing, of course. I'm pretty sure it was the acting.
I enjoy writing about characters living in small quaint towns and tend to lean toward the unusual and edgy.
My paranormal playing field delves into a different milieu, abandoning vampires and werewolves, but not discounting them. Someday I might like to write a novel about vamps and those furry creatures. But for now I like the bizarre mixed with romance. A strong hero or heroine confronted with extraordinary forces of nature, powers and capabilities gets my blood running hot as does an steamy contemporary romantic suspense.

Excerpt
Getting a call to come into work at three in the morning is not a new thing for me. I often expect it.But I didn’t expect this.“This better be important, Jim, if I’m giving up my warm bed for this.”“It is Addy. I can assure you.”“Ugh! Why are you so perky this time of morning!” “I’m a vampire. I sleep during the day.” I shoot ice missiles at my unnaturally perky assistant as he strolls over the fridge to retrieve the reason I was called down here. In less than a minute he has the body bag on a gurney and wheeled in front of me and sliding onto the metal slab.“It still gives me the heebie jeebies just thinking about it.”I glance at him in confusion and anticipation and start to unzip the bag.The face that greets me is not what I was expecting. I jump back with a shriek. Normally I am fine around dead bodies, being a morgue technician and studying forensic science, but nothing I have seen previously prepares me for this.Lying on the slab in front of me pale and cold is a face more familiar to me than anyone else’s. It’s my face.

And now for the surprise part......
The surprise is not only is TREACHEROUS getting a facelift, but its getting a sequel!!
SURPRISE!!!
Yes, you heard me right. In a few days time TREACHEROUS will be re-published with a brand new cover courtesy of Author Rebecca Berto at  http://bertodesigns.com whom also designed FIRST GLANCE's cover above.

The Grace in Darkness Release Day Blitz

Every part of me yearns for Ryland and there hasn’t been a day that’s gone by that I don’t question if I made the right decision. Adjusting is something I should be used to by now but how can I do that when life has other plans?

Melissa Andrea Bio:
I find it hard to sum up my life in a paragraph, but I'll try.
Reading has always been a passion for me and writing is as instinctive as breathing. Every inhale is an idea; every exhale a creation. Flutter, The Discover Series was my debut release and since then I have written a contemporary romance, The Edge of Darkness. The only thing I do better than writing? Making beautiful, sassy and independent, girls. My daughter's will always be my greatest accomplishment, my biggest fans and my every inspiration. I live, breath and would die for them! I've been married to one of the greatest men in my life for 7 years and I love him more than chocolate (you know shit just got real :), Justin Timberlake and Friday's. Without him my website would be a mess and I would probably being paying more taxes than I should be. He is a jack of many trades and this is just my opinion but I like to think besides my daughters, I'm his second biggest accomplishment. (Does anyone else hear a horn tooting?)I was born in Denver, Colorado -but I will always think of sunny Arizona as my home. I don't have a big family, but I'm close with my sister, brother & my mom. My mom is my hero, my inspiration, and I couldn't have asked for a more amazing person to be raised by. She has supported me throughout this crazy adventure and I'm lucky to have her on my side!
6 things you should know about me:1. I'm a tornado with lipstick! Translation: I'm very girly, but I can get down and dirty with the best of them.2. I adore the color pink!3. I love things that sparkle (including vampires!)4. I like even numbers (hence 6 things about me, not 5)5. I'm loyal to a fault but I like to see the good in everybody. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness though because my bark is not always bigger than my bite :)) 6. I don't like calling readers 'fans'. When it come down to it, I am all YOUR biggest fan! MWAH!I will never be able to thank every reader, every blogger or every author who has helped me in one or a million ways since I published but I will try every chance I get. Y'all are the reason I am here and every comment, every message, every review makes me feel like I have a reason to be. So to the moon and back, THANK YOU!
Okay, so this was a little longer than a paragraph.

Damaged by Becca Vincenza- Cover Reveal

Title: Damaged Author: Becca VincenzaRelease Date: Dec 2013Cover Desginer: Airicka Mystical Creations (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Airickas-Mystical-Creations/462373910480084)
Genre: NA ParanormalWarnings: Language, sexual content, abuse and violence
Formats: eBook & paperback

Synopsis: There are some beings in this world, long thought to be extinct. Some seek to protect them, others want control, but some . . .  some are hell bent on their destruction.Audrey was taken from her father, hidden away from the world, and tortured for five years. She was rescued, but is she really safe, or is there someone else waiting to betray her? Can she trust those who saved her? Can she learn to accept who she really is?Stone was on a routine mission to extract valuable information from a rival clan of paranormals. Instead, he and his team find something much more valuable: a scarred, damaged young woman who holds many secrets, and whose power is beyond anything they could ever have imagined. There is much more to Audrey than meets the eye and Stone is determined to protect her.Audrey and Stone are about to find out it’s hard to know who to trust.

Excerpt: “I deserved most of these scars. But…” My hand went instinctively to touch the one on my face, but Stone’s hand was already there, touching unflinchingly at the puckering, revolting scars.             “No, you didn’t deserve any of these scars, especially these.” He leaned down and kissed each scar, length for length. I closed my eyes against the sweet attack. While he was holding me earlier, he laid me down now, his body lightly touching mine but never pressing on me. When I opened my eyes, his were a deep purple looking back at me. “You are the most stunning woman I have ever met.” He leaned down and kissed my lips this time. I lifted slightly when it felt like he was going to pull away. My hands moved to his hair. I understood why his hands had always sought out my hair, even when I didn’t think he realized he was doing it. When we were at the cabin, which felt like weeks before, we would be sitting on the deck and his hand would be touching and lightly tugging strands of my hair. I never complained because it placed me into this relaxed feeling. Now I was touching his hair, feeling how it slipped past my fingers, leaving strange tingling feelings I couldn’t stop.             Stone groaned and his body pushed lightly onto mine. His lips left mine, and when I tried to follow, he nudged my head back into place as he moved to kiss my scars again. He touched the damaged part of my lips and I felt his tongue touch every ridge. I shivered violently. I moved my head slightly so that I could kiss him back. He let me this time, allowing me to control the kiss, to take it at my speed. I was nervous, but I touched his lips with my tongue and he opened for me. I practically sighed when the taste of him flooded in. I pulled away first, trying to get air.             “Gods, I don’t ever want to stop kissing you.” Stone’s hand moved from my waist up. I squirmed lightly, feeling uncomfortable memories surfacing. I tried to push them away, reminding myself who I was with.
About Becca Oh jeez…do you know how many people I told I didn’t want to write this? So here is the one my friend made me: Becca Vincenza lives in wonderful Michigan. She has a love for Skittles, rainbows, Star Wars, *giggles* and Hot Men. She spends time in her basement with Airicka... Apparently that's where the best ideas come from. Any who....she loves meeting new people, so feel free to message her on Facebook and friend her on Goodreads!Although her phone number will not be given out because, well...she doesn't like heavy breathing.
So a sort of serious one: For real, I am a geek. I grew up watching Star Wars, and my father read Lord of the Rings to us, along with the C. S. Lewis series. I love to write. In all honesty, it took me a lot of work to get where I am today and I don’t regret a moment of it. Reading and writing are honestly the best things ever. I couldn’t be happier that my parents put me through so much extra help. Anyways! Me, me, me…. Huh…I love paranormal stuff…Love it.

About the Author
Rebecca Berto writes stories about love and relationships. She gets a thrill when her readers are emotional reading her books, and gets even more of a kick when they tell her so. She's strangely imaginative, spends too much time on her computer, and is certifiably crazy when she works on her fiction. Rebecca Berto lives in Melbourne, Australia with her boyfriend and their doggy
