This is one book i have been waiting for since i heard Melissa was writing it!

Broken Prince by Jen Wylie- Review

Last night i finished this book, the second in the Broken Ones series by Jen Wylie and today i've been trying to rack my brain for something to say. The truth is there are just no words to describe how i feel upon finishing this epic epic fantasy novel!

The Story continues for Aro, Prince, Bo and Kei but there's a tragic loss of one of the band of travellers but the addition of new member (I cannot say who they are. You will have to read the book to find out!) They are on their way to take Prince home, who has fallen gravely ill being so far away from his kingdom.

There are many tender heartfelt moments (Prince and Aro moments squeee!), funny moments and also bittersweet ones.

Jen is such a fantastic story teller and i am proud to call myself a friend and fan!

The Garden of Eden on Tour and Treacherous release date

You may have heard me blogging and talking about moving the release date for my next two releases back until after my trip to South America, with no tentative release date for Treacherous, well there is some good news!

Treacherous now has a release date!

It will be.... (drum roll please!).... October 1st and a tour will be announced soon.

As for the Garden of Eden, i have organised the tour dates for it with my tour host,

and they are;

Blog tour: 24th august- 31st august

Release day blitz: 31st august

And we still need lots more bloggers for the release day blitz!

Change of Release dates

I'm so so very sorry to do this to you, but i'm afraid i have to change the release dates for Treacherous and The Garden of Eden on you. I was originally going to releasing Treacherous first then The Garden of Eden, but that seems a bit silly as The Garden of Eden is finished and Treacherous is not. Also i have a cover for Treacherous but The Garden of Eden does not yet have a cover... but it will soon!

Dates will be announced soon for the cover reveal for The Garden of Eden and its release day blitz and blog tour. That is all pending on the cover which i am in talks with my designer about. A sign up sheet will be posted when i know definate dates.

Then it will be time to organise the release day blitz and blog tour for Treacherous. I am getting excited and anxious about the rest of the year, how about you?

Why am i pushing back the release dates you ask?

Well, i originally planned to release Treacherous August 15th and The Garden of Eden sep, oct or nov  this year but because i am going to South America in the middle of July for about 3 weeks i have to push everything back to after i get back.

The new release date for The Garden of Eden will be.... August 31st and the release date for Treacherous is still pending. The good news is i am about half way through writing Treacherous!

            "Do I make you nervous?" His husky drawl drips like chocolate covering a ripe, round strawberry. Does he make me nervous? Does a simmering volcano make an ant nervous?            I swallow. "Nervous? I'm not nervous," I babble, refusing to look at him. I'm in physical pain. What's that thing I do where I take in air, and then let it out? Oh yeah, breathing. I need to do that.             Like right now.             I make a strangled sound and inhale through my nostrils, taking in the smoky air like a ravenous puppy finding milk. Instantly I feel Pax's heat next to me. Soon I'll be immersed in it, wrapped in it.             Wrapped around him.             So does that make me nervous? Only a hundred kinds of nervous.            "Time to begin!" Cade yells, as he jogs back to Pax and I, flashing his pearly whites. He pounds Pax on the back. "Don't drop the ball," he grins.             "As if I ever do."            Cade turns to me. I see the second he registers my cleavage is exposed to the world. His eyes appraise me slowly. Excerpt He was still waiting when I joined him again, composed. He stood with his back against the wall, his hands lost deep into the folds of his pockets. He was studying his shoes, his hair falling in thick fringes over his eyes. Those blue eyes rose, crystalline pools of electricity, and met mine, and my world stopped. My breath stopped. Review of Between the Lives by Jessica Shirvington

I can't remember the last time i cried while reading. well, last night i did while finishing Between the Lives by the uber talented Jessica Shirvington.

Between the Lives is a YA thriller about a girl named Sabine who has the most unique life imaginable - well two lives to be exact! Her world is split in two, as every 24 hours she has to spend her day in a different life. When one of her lives becomes too unbearable she contemplates suicide, because she knows whatever she does will not be carried through to the other life. She is dead set on doing it, until she meets the mysterious Ethan in her Roxbury life. Ethan teaches Sabine to treasure all lives. the lives she had previously taken for granted.... until Ethan is taken away from her.

This book was so heartwrenching! i cried and screamed at the pages, asking Jessica why she could be so cruel! i had tears streaming down my face until i reached the last chapter. and trust me, it was a good ending.
