Lilla Rose Hair Clips~GIVEAWAY!

I never had long hair as a child. I liked having my hair played with too much to let it grow out. As an adult, however, I rarely have the time to get it cut, so it grew out and I had long hair. The Olympic Talk with Daughter 2

Man Crush Monday: Dachhiri Sherpa

I don't always do Man Crush Monday ...

Wait. Let me start over again.

I've never done a Man Crush Monday because I've kinda thought it was a little bit silly but I have a Man Crush and it's Monday, so why not, right?

Saturday morning as we watched the Olympic Opening Ceremonies, which we had DVR'd the night before because Daughter 1 and her friend wanted to watch Warm Bodies, my heart was warmed by Dachhiri Sherpa of Nepal.

Winter Has Made Me Crotchety

Funny thing: I had to look up the word crotchety to make sure I was using it correctly. I've used it for years to describe various things.

Hustle--Week 1

Sunday, 2/2 --Today, we need to answer the question WHY. Why do I want to set a 30-day goal of exercising at least ten minutes a day? The answer is simple and humiliating all at the same time: I get no exercise otherwise. When people (and by "people" I mean doctors) ask how active I am, I tell them moderate. Late-Night Thoughts On Snow Days

Give me an S! (For Stupid)

When we found out that Daughter 1 was not Son 1, we declared then and there that she would not be a cheerleader. Now that Daughter 1 is a tween, it's clear that she's completely on board with our desires. Daughter 2, though ... man, that's a different story.

Everyday I'm hustling...

A while back, I read about the 30-Day Hustle. This seemed really perfect for me because I knew I would fail if I made a New Year Resolution. But, doing something for thirty days?
