Billionaire Donor Demands Presidents of Harvard, MIT and Penn ‘Resign in Disgrace’ After Disastrous Hearing on Campus Anti-Semitism | The Gateway Pundit
Millions of Americans watched in horror this week as the presidents of Harvard, MIT and Penn testified before Congress about the vile anti-Semitism we have seen on their campuses in recent weeks.
Despite being given ample chances to do so, they just couldn’t seem to bring themselves to admit that the far left students carrying out these acts are violating school policies.
All of the school presidents hid behind a supposed commitment to free speech, but we know that’s false because conservative speakers are routinely shouted down on college campuses.
Now, billionaire hedge fund manager and academic donor Bill Ackman is demanding that these school presidents ‘resign in disgrace.’

Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman is demanding that the presidents of Harvard, MIT, and UPenn “resign in disgrace” following their comments during a congressional hearing on Tuesday.
“The presidents of @Harvard, @MIT, and @Penn were all asked the following question under oath at today’s congressional hearing on antisemitism: Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate [your university’s] code of conduct or rules regarding bullying or harassment?” Ackman wrote in a post on X/Twitter.
The hedge fund manager continued, “the answers they gave reflect the profound moral bankruptcy” of Harvard Presidents Gay, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) president Sally Kornbluth, and University of Pennsylvania Liz Magill.

Ackman’s tweet is a long one, but this is the key part:
This could be the most extraordinary testimony ever elicited in the Congress, certainly on the topic of genocide, which to remind us all is:
“the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group”
The presidents’ answers reflect the profound educational, moral and ethical failures that pervade certain of our elite educational institutions due in large part to their failed leadership.
Don’t take my word for it.
You must watch the following three minutes. By the end, you will be where I am.
They must all resign in disgrace.
This entire affair has exposed massive rot at some of America’s ‘top’ schools.

Self-driving truck firm TuSimple rolls back US operations
The future of self-driving truck company TuSimple in the US looks limited, as it announced it will be reducing its workforce to about 30 people while it searches for a potential buyer.
The decline of TuSimple in the US saw the San Diego-based company go from market leader in autonomous long-haul trucking to searching for a new buyer – after safety concerns and government trepidation over dealing with a Chinese startup. These safety concerns around self-driving vehicles have been echoed this week as well, via a Tesla whistleblower.
TuSimple is now moving its business to China. According to a company statement on Monday, it has reduced its US staff by 75% – cutting its global workforce to half of what it was in 2022. It also informed investors that it expects to generate no significant revenue. TuSimple is currently valued at $229 million, despite entering the US exchange with a $8.5 billion valuation.
TuSimple and US concerns over China tiesTuSimple and the US government got off to a rocky start before the company even went public, as a regulatory probe was launched into the company due to a Chinese investor who held two board seats and a large stake in the company.
As the US views autonomous driving technology as a key asset to national security and military operations, an agreement was struck between the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US (Cfius) and TuSimple to avoid sharing any critical data and technology with its China base.
The Wall Street Journal also reported, that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Cfius launched an investigation into TuSimple over illicit financing and transferred technology to a Chinese trucking startup.
The startup in question was Hydron – founded by TuSimple co-founder Mo Chen – who was seeking to build hydrogen-powered semi-trucks powered by TuSimple self-driving technology.

Michael Shellenberger Tells Tucker: Opposition To Natural Gas Proves Climate Activists Aren’t Pro-Environment, They’re Anti-Human (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Writer and free speech activist Michael Shellenberger recently spoke with Tucker Carlson about the hypocrisy of our political elites who claim to care about climate change.
He notes that if these people were serious, they would embrace natural gas, which the United States has in massive amounts.
Instead, our elites are all about control. Shellenberger even suggests that these people want to make energy scarce on purpose.
Real Clear Politics provides a partial transcript:
MICHAEL SHELLENBERGER: I think what’s so interesting about what’s happening right now is that just even a year or two ago, global elites used to pretend to care about people but they’re not even pretending anymore,” Shellenberger said. “I mean, here they fly their private jets…I think that what’s so different now is that the elites are just openly and blatantly expressing their hatred of humankind, particularly the hatred of working people, of poor people, people both in the United States in so-called flyover states that they hate so much, but also in places like India and China and Africa where people want to live a better life, and that’s what coal has traditionally provided.
The obvious alternative to coal is natural gas. If you cared about climate change, if this was actually about climate change, you would just produce more natural gas because it produces half the carbon emissions of coal. The United States reduced our Carbon emissions by 22% between 2005 and 2020 with 61% of that education simply coming from switching from coal to natural gas, but John Kerry and other climate activists are against natural gas and they’ve been stifling of natural gas, clean-burning American natural gas, which is the cleanest in the world. So it’s so obvious, it’s so hypocritical, but worse than that I think it’s really anti-human.

Far-left New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has no friends in Congress, even among Democrats, according to a new book.
Is this really so hard to believe? What has she done in Congress, other than act like an activist?
She certainly doesn’t seem interested in doing the work of being a lawmaker.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez quickly emerged as a darling of progressive activists, but inside the halls of Congress, she became a “pariah” among fellow Democrats, a new book claims.
Even before Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) — widely known by her initials, AOC — ascended to the House of Representatives in 2019, she rankled party leadership and progressive luminaries in the lower chamber, according to “The Squad: AOC and the Hope of a Political Revolution,” out on Tuesday.
“While somebody like [President Barack] Obama wants to be seen as being all things to all people, Ocasio-Cortez actually thinks she can be all things to all people while leading a political revolution,” author Ryan Grim wrote, per a preview of the tome published by the Daily Mail on Sunday.
Grim recounts how the firebrand progressive — who unseated 10-term incumbent and Democratic Caucus Chair Joe Crowley — upset top members of the party early in her career…
Even when she tried to show her congressional colleagues “personal warmth,” it only made them “more suspicious” of her motives, Grim writes, according to the Mail.

And while all this is happening, the far-left New York Times is warning America that if Trump is re-elected in 2024, he might use government to target his political opponents. You know… Like Joe Biden is doing right now.

Who will star in GTA VI? Betting already in full flow
Bets are already being placed on which celebrities might make an appearance in Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto VI, just hours after the first trailer dropped. The game is slated for a release in early 2025 and all we really know is that it will be the first GTA game with a female protagonist, as we met Lucia in our first look.
The internet is busy trying to work out who the actress who voiced Lucia in Trailer 1 is but as she remains unnamed right now, others are checking the odds as to who may be making a guest appearance at some stage in the future. At this stage, anything could happen as we are a long way out from the launch but Oddschecker is showcasing some of the big star names who are attracting the most attention right now.
Who will be in GTA VI?The latest odds from BetUS have DJ Khalid as the firm favorite to make an appearance, but there are plenty of other names in the mix too including the likes of Snoop Dogg and Eminem (fresh from his appearance in Fortnite) but also includes British Heavyweight champ Tyson Fury and controversial UFC legend Conor McGregor.

EE presents its plan for TV’s future with the launch of EE TV
You may have noticed in the last few months about the emergence of EE as an entertainment platform, and that’s been further strengthened with the launch of EE TV.
This new TV service is, according to EE, “designed to offer a truly flexible TV experience for the busiest homes”.
What’s so different about EE TV? It’s best to start with what’s the same. Like before, customers will be able to chop and change TV packages on a monthly basis as they like. What’s new is that this has been integrated within a new TV hub, one that combines live broadcast TV, access to UK catch-up and on demand apps, and the ability to buy and rent content in one convenient place.
And as part of the launch EE is bringing out two new set-top boxes, as well as close knit collaboration with Apple that will see an optimised version EE TV app appear on the Apple TV 4K streaming box that’s only available from BT.
The three boxes are made up of the EE TV Box Pro, EE TV Box Mini, and EE TV with Apple TV 4K. With the EE TV boxes the main method of connection is via Wi-Fi, and the Pro version of the box can record content (up to 600 hours), along with Dolby Atmos audio and 4K HDR support.
EE TV Box Mini is a smaller unit, suited for customers who want to watch content in a second room. It’s also compatible with Dolby Atmos and 4K HDR. You can, also, purchase this box and have it act as the main box beneath the TV.
And in what EE is calling an “exciting UK-first”, there’s EE TV on Apple TV 4K, which features a bespoke version of the app if you purchase this streamer direct from BT. For those who already have an existing Apple TV 4K, it will get the EE TV app but it won’t be as integrated within the Apple TV platform. With the EE TV on Apple TV 4K, there’s access to more apps and content through the Apple’s own services, as well as the ability to use Siri voice search to find content.
Purchase any one of the three boxes and you’ll be provided an additional EE TV Box Mini at no additional cost so you can create a multi-room set-up for your home.
Those new to EE TV are eligible to six months of Apple TV+ free. A one-off activation fee of £30 applies regardless of any set-top box chosen, and postage and packaging charges may also apply.

Trump did a town hall event with Sean Hannity on Tuesday night and answered questions on a wide variety of topics.
One funny moment came when Hannity asked him if Biden is going to be the Democrat nominee in 2024. Trump pointed to Biden’s frailty and sad he doesn’t think he’ll make it, drawing laughter from the live audience.

Donald Trump predicted President Biden ultimately wouldn’t be the Democrats’ nominee for president in 2024.
The topic arose when Sean Hannity asked Trump about the criticism facing Biden from his fellow Democrats, as well as noted that he seemed to be “struggling cognitively.”
“I personally don’t think he makes it, okay? I haven’t said that. I’m saving it for this big town hall. I’ve never really said that. I personally don’t think he makes it,” Trump answered, to cheers from the audience.
“I think he’s in bad shape physically,” he added before joking about a previous instance in which Biden said he’d like to take Trump to the “back of the barn.”
Trump joked that Biden would “fall over” if he simply blew on him.

Cubic Telecom: SoftBank buys 51% stake in Irish firm
Cubic Telecom, a Dublin-based start-up, has confirmed it will receive a strategic investment of €473 million ($513 million) from SoftBank Corp.
The Japanese investment giant will effectively gain a new subsidiary company in Cubic as the funding means it will acquire a 51% stake in its partner in what has been dubbed Ireland’s biggest tech deal.
The two entities had already been working in tandem, including in Japan, where Cubic Telecom has been integrating SoftBank’s wireless network to provide connectivity to connected cars.
The rise of Cubic since its launch in 2016 has been rapid, reflected in this deal which values the company at more than €900 million, as reported by RTÉ:
“Through agreements with more than 90 mobile network operators, the company currently connects more than 17 million vehicles in over 190 countries and regions, adding 450,000 new vehicles a month.”
Essentially, they provide a software-based network solution for vehicles and other devices to link up with the appropriate mobile networks wherever they are located, from one country to another.
“Endless” opportunities for Cubic TelecomOn Tuesday (Dec.5), a press release outlined the future intentions of the partnership:
‘With this investment, SoftBank and Cubic Telecom will form a strategic global partnership to pioneer the future of software-defined connected vehicles and other high-value Internet-of-Things (IoT) assets by harnessing the power of global connectivity platforms.’
It also shared a forecast that “95% of new vehicles sold globally will be connected by 2030, and connected car use cases alone could deliver $250 billion to $400 billion in annual incremental value for the ecosystem, with Cubic Telecom poised to capture a leading share of this rapidly growing market.”
As part of the deal, Barry Napier will remain as CEO of Cubic where he will be joined on the board by Daichi Nozaki, SoftBank’s Senior Vice President, and two other SoftBank representatives to be confirmed. Three seats at the top table will be occupied by Cubic Telecom’s existing shareholders, including CARIAD (Volkswagen Group) and Qualcomm.
Mr Napier remarked on the significant scope of further expansion for Cubic.
“The focus on software rather than hardware means manufacturers can increase the value of a vehicle or device by adding new functionality, over-the-air, which will improve safety, comfort and performance,” he said.
“This, alongside the opportunity AI presents, will open up new collaborations and business models. The opportunities ahead of us are endless.”
