NYC House Republican Claims to Have ‘Smoking Gun’ Evidence of City’s Plan to Register ‘Tens of Thousands’ of Illegal Immigrants to Vote (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis during a press conference in Staten Island.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) has asserted that she possesses unequivocal proof that city officials are actively working to enable illegal immigrants to get registered to vote.
Malliotakis submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) to access the agreement between New York City and Homes for the Homeless, which manages the migrant facility on Staten Island.
Homes for the Homeless (HFH) is a nonprofit organization tasked with erecting emergency shelters for migrants amidst a deepening border crisis. Within this contract’s appendix, the Representative spotted language that seemed to instruct the nonprofit to supply voter registration paperwork to the shelters’ migrant residents.
During a press briefing in Staten Island, Malliotakis announced that she had acquired a portion of a contract between New York City’s Department of Social Services and Homes for the Homeless.
She found that it obligates contractors of migrant shelters to hand out voter registration cards, help migrants in registering to vote, and circulate campaign materials within the shelter premises.
“This is the smoking gun that proves what we’ve been saying all along, that the city intends to register noncitizens to vote, and even those who are residing in these migrant shelters for just 30 days,” Malliotakis said per FOX News. “It is extremely concerning. It should be concerning to every citizen.”
In an X post, Malliotakis wrote, “My office has uncovered #NYC’s secret scheme to potentially register tens of thousands of migrants to vote in our elections. Take a look at this contract between HFH NYC, the “non-profit” that kicked out seniors to house migrants, & the City of New York.”

— Office of Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (@RepMalliotakis) December 3, 2023
“There is nothing more important than preserving the integrity of our election system,” Malliotakis said in a statement.
“The right to vote is a sacred right given only to United States citizens, and certainly not one provided to those who crossed over our border illegally and made their way to New York City last month. The City better not be acting in violation of the judge’s ruling that struck down the noncitizen voting law that would have allowed 800,000 noncitizens with a Green Card or Work Authorization and who have resided in New York City for 30 days, to vote. The only thing that may be stopping the registration of these noncitizens is our lawsuit that halted the law from taking effect, but it’s very disturbing that in their own contracts, the City is requiring contractors to distribute registration forms while prohibiting them from asking citizenship status.”
The detailed contract appendix specifies the contractors who routinely interact with the public as part of their daily operations are required to hand out voter registration forms provided by the city. These regulations mandate the contractors be ready to give forms in Spanish or Chinese and obtain an ample quantity of such forms from the city.
According to the FY14 Discretionary Contract:
Distribution of Voter Registration FormsIn accordance with Charter § 1057-a, the Contractor, if a contractor having regular contact with the public in the daily administration of its business under this Agreement, hereby agrees as follows:
(1) The Contractor shall provide and distribute voter registration forms to all persons together with written applications for services, renewal or recertification for services and change of address relating to such services. Such voter registration forms shall be provided to the Contractor by the City. The Contractor should be prepared to provide forms written in Spanish or Chinese, and shall obtain a sufficient supply of such forms from the City.
(2) The Contractor shall also include a voter registration form with any Contractor communication sent through the United States mail for the purpose of supplying clients with application, renewal or recertification for services and change of address relating to such services materials. If forms written in Spanish or Chinese are not provided in such mailing, the Contractor shall provide such forms upon request.
(3) The Contractor shall, subject to approval by the Department, incorporate an opportunity to request a voter registration application into any application for services, renewal or recertification for services and change of address relating to such services provided on computer terminals, the World Wide Web or the Internet. Any person indicating that they wish to be sent a voter registration form, via computer terminals, the World Wide Web or the Internet shall be sent such a form by the Contractor or be directed, in a manner subject to approval by the Department, to a bank on that system where such a form may be downloaded.
(4) The Contractor shall, at the earliest practicable or next regularly scheduled printing of its own forms, subject to approval by the Department, physically incorporate the voter registration forms with its own application forms in a manner that permits the voter registration portion to be detached therefrom. Until such time when the Contractor amends its form, the Contractor should affix or include a postage paid New York City Board of Elections voter registration form to or with its application, renewal, recertification and change of address forms.
(5) The Contractor shall prominently display in its public office, subject to approval by the Department, promotional materials designed and approved by the New York City or New York State Board of Elections.
(6) For the purposes of Part A of this article, the word “contractor” shall be deemed to include subcontractors having regular contract with the public in the daily administration of their business.
(7) The provisions of Part A of this article shall not apply to services that must be provided to prevent actual or potential danger to life, health or safety of any individual or of the public.
Assistance in Completing FormsIn accordance with Charter § 1057-a, the Contractor hereby agrees as follows:
(1) In the event the Department provides assistance in completing distributed voter registration forms, the Contractor shall also provide such assistance, in the manner and to the extent specified by the Department.
(2) In the event the Department receives and transmits completed registration forms from applicants who wish to have the forms transmitted to the New York City Board of Elections, the Contractor shall similarly provide such service, in the manner and to the extent specified by the Department.
(3) If, in connection with the provision of services under this Agreement, the Contractor intends to provide assistance in completing distributed voter registration forms or to receive and transmit completed registration forms from applicants who wish to have the forms transmitted to the New York City Board of Elections, the Contractor shall do so only by prior arrangement with the Department.
(4) The provision of Part B services by the Contractor may be subject to Department protocols, including one on confidentiality.
Despite these accusations, officials from NYC’s Department of Social Services have rebutted Malliotakis’s claims. According to them, the incriminated contract section strictly pertains to “eligible clients” who are U.S. citizens within shelter housing.
“These allegations are both incorrect and unfounded. DHS has a legal mandate to insert voter registration-related language in shelter contracts, which is applicable solely to citizens who are eligible. This does not extend to asylum seekers housed in shelters,” a spokesperson told FOX News.
“As our teams continue to provide vital case-management services to connect asylum seekers to supports to help them move out of shelter, we strongly caution against lending any credence to such dangerous misrepresentations of the City’s response to this humanitarian crisis,” it added.
The revelation of this information arrives not too long after a state judge overruled a 2021 City Council statute that permitted noncitizen residents to vote in municipal elections. This legal decision stemmed from a lawsuit that included Malliotakis as one of the plaintiffs, with an ongoing appeal being lodged by the city alongside migrants’ rights advocacy groups.
“The right to vote is a sacred right given only to U.S. citizens, & certainly not to those who crossed our border illegally & came to NYC last month. After we sued, a judge ruled noncitizen voting unconstitutional & NYC Mayor must respect the decision!” Malliotakis wrote.

Givenchy Pre-Fall 2024: A Stylish Statement
Givenchy’s pre-fall 2024 collection marks another step forward in the brand’s illustrious journey, continuing the momentum from its holiday 2023 collection and the fall 2023 campaign. This latest collection infuses the house’s iconic elegance with a modern twist, emphasizing ease of dressing without sacrificing the brand’s known fashion-forwardness.
Drawing inspiration from the creative insights of Hubert de Givenchy’s later works, the collection reinterprets these classic elements through a contemporary lens, perfectly blending tradition with innovation.
The women’s wear line is particularly noteworthy, featuring two distinct styles that cater to the modern woman’s diverse tastes. On one side, there are masculine volumes reimagined with plunging necklines, offering a bold yet feminine appeal. Footwear pairs sheer stockings with pointed-toe flats.
On the other, the collection brings tailored propositions, characterized by slightly shrunken proportions, and reinvents miniskirts, giving power dressing a modern spin. Signature pieces include cocoon coats in double-face cotton and the reimagined iconic Givenchy trench with couture volumes.
The color palette remains predominantly neutral, with orange bursts adding vibrancy. The little black dress stands out for evening wear, especially with its double-draped back and delicately ruched silk chiffon, creating an allure of seduction and mystery.
Accessories are an integral part of this collection, with the Voyou bag for women taking center stage in various forms such as chain, clutch, and tote. These pieces, alongside the new Antigona Cube, showcase Givenchy’s flair for elegant design and craftsmanship.
Eyewear styles also get a refresh, with the Giv-Cut and 4G Liquid butterfly frames adding a touch of contemporary chic to the collection. The Givenchy pre-fall 2024 collection is set to be available online and in stores from early June.

Trump Warns Outcome of His Trial Could Be Devastating for New York | The Gateway Pundit
As usual, former President Donald Trump had it right on principle. At the same time, however — for reasons he probably would acknowledge — his correct assertion might not have the consequences we would otherwise assume.
In comments during a break in his civil fraud trial Thursday in New York City, Trump warned that his ongoing persecution at the hands of New York state Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron and Attorney General Letitia James could have a chilling effect on other businesses in the state.
“Businesses are watching this case. No business will go back into New York. No business will, frankly, stay in New York. A lot of businesses are talking about leaving New York because of this action. This is a very serious action,” the former president said.
Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of the extremely anti-Trump MeidasTouch.com, shared the clip online Thursday night.
“Trump says all businesses in NY will leave the state if he loses his case,” Filipkowski said in the X post.
Trump says all businesses in NY will leave the state if he loses his case. pic.twitter.com/vKrwHQsMsq
— Ron Filipkowski (@RonFilipkowski) December 8, 2023
In sum, James has argued that the GOP’s leading 2024 presidential candidate and his Trump Organization fraudulently inflated the values of their properties in order to secure financial advantages from banks and insurance companies.
In September — in perhaps the most stupendously absurd judicial ruling of our lifetime — Engoron valued the Trump Organization’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, at a hilariously low $18 million.
The attorney general has sought $250 million in penalties and a ban on Trump doing business in New York.
Many observers — including former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy — have noted that the James-Engoron case has no alleged victims. No one complained. Thus, Trump and the Trump Organization defrauded no one.
In a larger sense, however, the case’s details have little relevance.
Describing those details, in fact, feels a bit like evaluating a “case” that came before Roland Freisler, president of the Third Reich’s ironically named “People’s Court” from 1942 to 1945.
Everyone knew that Freisler would do what his fellow Nazis wanted. So they knew the trial’s outcome in advance, but they pretended otherwise.
We are in the same position here. After all, James and Engoron have made no effort to hide the fact that they suffer from Stage 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome. In their deluded minds, serving justice means harming Trump. The regime demands it, and everyone knows it.
Thus, we return to the former president’s claim that the James-Engoron farce will compel New York businesses to consider leaving the state.
On one hand, of course, Trump had it right. In principle, no business could operate with confidence under the looming threat of deranged actors like James and Engoron.
Furthermore, Trump had every reason to sound the alarm for other business owners. “This could happen to you, too” constitutes an age-old appeal from current to future victims of tyranny.
On the other hand, his correct assertion might not matter — for two reasons.
First — and sadly — that desperate appeal nearly always falls on deaf ears. History shows that businesses conform to regimes, not the other way round.
In fact, we could multiply examples of well-placed businessmen who profited from totalitarianism. Only in rare cases — Nazi Germany had few Oskar Schindlers — did they sacrifice their interests for the sake of justice.
Of course, one could argue that Trump appealed not to abstract justice but to those very interests.
In that case, the prospect of businesses fleeing New York appears even less likely, for it leads to the second reason Trump’s assertion might not matter.
The former president has emerged as a figure of world-historical significance. He has exposed U.S. and global elites as authoritarian lunatics, and they loathe him for it. No one in all of American history can claim that kind of legacy.
Thus, the James-Engoron case might not affect other New York businesses because those businesses’ leaders lack Trump’s transcendent significance.
The former president has shown the courage to challenge evildoers. Others have not, so the regime will leave them to tend to their pecuniary interests. They do not see Trump’s fate as their own.
In principle, menacing regimes should terrify businesses.
In practice, however, it has not always worked that way.

AMD stock price jumps as company releases AI chip to compete with Nvidia
The stock price of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) rose nearly 10% on Thursday (Dec.7) in the company’s best single trading day since May.
The spike came a day after it launched new artificial intelligence (AI) chips designed to compete against chipmaker rival, Nvidia, reported CNBC. Thursday’s increase in AMD shares suggests investors are backing the company’s assertions it can take on its bigger competitor.
On Wednesday, AMD CEO Lisa Su discussed the new MI300X accelerator chip which is a large graphics processor designed for AI-oriented servers, and said Microsoft and Meta had committed to using the chip.
“We’re still at the very, very early innings of AI,” AMD CEO Lisa Su says. https://t.co/iaUqFj1Hkb pic.twitter.com/3MxjQYo9ng
— CNBC (@CNBC) December 6, 2023
Speaking to reporters following her speech, Su said the anticipated $400bn market for AI processors in 2027 left plenty of space for AMD. “We think we could get a nice piece of that,” the Financial Times reported. Included in the estimate is China, which is facing a US government crackdown on exports of advanced AI chips.
Su said AMD “spends a lot of time with the [Biden] administration” and US Commerce Department. “We understand for the most advanced chips, [export restrictions] are important for us to have — from a national security standpoint.”
The chipmaker has also been expanding operations in Asia. In November, AMD opened its largest global design center in India. The state-of-the-art campus in the city of Bengaluru will employ around 3,000 engineers in the coming years and focus on the design and development of the company’s semiconductor technology including 3D stacking, artificial intelligence (AI), and more.

The Galaxy S23 FE is a great phone that’s arrived far too late
OPINION: After a two-month wait following its early October announcement, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is officially available to buy in the UK – but it’s just a little too late for the phone to be the smash hit Samsung undoubtedly envisioned.
For those unfamiliar with Samsung’s FE branding, it stands for Fan Edition. It’s essentially Samsung’s way of marketing more budget-friendly versions of premium products like the flagship Samsung Galaxy S23, though it’s certainly not the first Samsung product to get the treatment.
We’ve seen it before with the Galaxy S21 FE, and we’ve also seen the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Buds FE appear more recently. All offer a broadly similar look to the premium tech they’re trying to emulate, and even include many of the same core specs, but, of course, there are compromises to help bring the price down.
When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, the phone looks and feels just like the flagship with its minimalistic design and glass and aluminium body, although the 120Hz AMOLED display is a touch larger at 6.4 inches and the bezels are ever so slightly thicker.

It sports the same main 50MP and 12MP ultrawide cameras as the flagship, along with an 8MP 3x telephoto in place of the 12MP alternative. Although it doesn’t sport the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, the Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 deliver solid everyday performance that outpaces much of the mid-range competition.
While I’m still not a massive fan of the Exynos/Snapdragon split that Samsung sometimes employs, the compromises within the S23 FE are pretty negligible. Even with the lower resolution telephoto lens, it remains one of few mid-rangers with a dedicated zoom lens, and elements like Gorilla Glass 5 are more common at the mid-range price point too.
Throw in a premium glass and aluminium design, a high-end display and IP68 dust and water resistance and you’ve got a recipe for a competitive mid-ranger, right?
That would’ve been a resounding yes if not for the Galaxy S23 FE’s biggest competitor, the Samsung Galaxy S23.
“But how can the S23 be a competitor when the FE is designed as a cheaper version of the phone?” I hear you cry. Reader, it’s all about the timing of the S23 FE’s release.

Image Credit (Trusted Reviews)You see, the Samsung Galaxy S23 was first revealed on 1 February 2023, with release following on 17 February 2023. That means that the S23 has been on sale for just shy of 10 months at this point, and with 2024 drawing ever closer, it’s likely that we’re not too far from the reveal of the next-gen Galaxy S24 range.
As you’re well aware, smartphones tend to drop in price the longer they’re available – and that, of course, is true of the Samsung Galaxy S23. While its initial £849/$799 price tag put it comfortably in flagship territory, the same can’t be said in December 2023.
In fact, looking at Amazon product price tracker Keepa, we can see that the Galaxy S23 has already dropped beneath the £599 asking price of the Galaxy S23 FE, down to as little as £546 in recent months. It’s £599 at Amazon right now.
If you can get the full-fat flagship S23 for the same or even less than the budget version of the same phone, what’s the point in the latter?
If Samsung had launched the Galaxy S23 FE alongside the flagship S23 earlier this year, or even if it appeared a few months after, it would’ve been a completely different story. The regular S23 would’ve still been close to its original RRP, making the S23 FE look like a real steal.
But, in late 2023 with Galaxy S23 deals aplenty, the S23 FE doesn’t do enough to justify its existence. And that’s a real shame. Maybe Samsung should release the S24 FE a little earlier next year…

CAIR President Nihad Awad cheers slaughter of 1,300 Jews by Hamas on Oct. 7.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) defines itself as a Muslim civil rights organization and advocacy group.
In 2008 the FBI ruled CAIR an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror-finance trial against the Holy Land Foundation and its former officials.
In recent years CAIR has been a leading voice in censoring and banning conservative voices on social media.
And recently the Biden regime listed CAIR as a partner in fighting “anti-Semitism.”
Then today MEMRI org released video of CAIR’s Executive Director Nihad Awad cheering the the October 7th slaughter of 1,300 Jews in southern Israel by Hamas.
Nihad Awad: “The people of Gaza only decided to break the siege, the walls of the concentration camp, on October 7. And yes, I was happy to see people breaking the siege and throwing down the shackles of their own land and walk free into their land, which they were not allowed to walk i.”

Microsoft Xbox finally gets Baldur’s Gate 3
Last night’s Game Awards crowned Baldur’s Gate 3 as a worthy Game of the Year and to celebrate the RPG has immediately, and finally, launched on Xbox.
Originally slated for a simultaneous release with the PC version of the acclaimed Larian Studios game, the console version was pushed back to an unknown date for extra polish.
It seemed all it needed at this stage was to be awarded the best game of 2023 and it was ready, so now Xbox players can play the game described as The Ultimate D&D experience.
BG3 lets you choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. If you have ever sat around a table with a D20, or even thought about it, the latest installment of Baldur’s Gate 3 is going to appeal to you.
How big is BG3 on Xbox?Baldur’s Gate 3 is not a small download. Weighing in at just under 138GB this is a download you might want to set going while while you are elsewhere.
There are two versions on offer – the Standard version and the Digital Deluxe version which contains the following items:
– Baldur’s Gate 3 – Base Game
– Bard Song Pack – Astound audiences by performing this special set of new songs
– Exclusive Dice Theme – Roll checks with style

– Digital Character Sheets – Peruse a set of four-page D&D character sheets for each Baldur’s Gate 3 origin character
You can buy the base game and just add this as a separate purchase later however if you are unsure.
Is Baldur’s Gate 3 on Game Pass? Not at this stage and this is no big surprise. Having said that, Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 recently joined the subscription service so there could well be a time when it makes an appearance. It is unlikely to be any time soon however, so if you want to play Baldur’s Gate 3 – and you definitely should – you will need to pick it up from the Xbox Storefront.
If you are looking for something new to play on Game Pass, there have been 14 new games added this month alone

Casey DeSantis Calls on Voters to Ascend on Iowa From Across the United States to “Participate in the Caucus” | The Gateway Pundit
Today, Ron DeSantis and his wife, Casey, joined Martha MacCallum on FOX News to discuss the upcoming Iowa Caucus where DeSantis currently trails Nikki Haley by 7% and Donald Trump by 57%. During the interview, Casey encouraged voters to come from across the country to “be a part of” and “participate in” the Iowa Caucus.
Casey DeSantis told MacCallum’s audience:
“We’re asking all of these moms and grandmoms to come from where ever it might be, North Carolina, South Carolina, and descend upon the state of Iowa and be a part of the caucus because you do not have to be a resident of Iowa to be able to participate in the caucus. So moms and grandmoms are gonna be able to come and be a part and let their voice be heard in support of Ron!”
Hours after the interview had aired, and after the call-to-action made its rounds on social media, Casey DeSantis released a post with the excerpt of the interview, backtracking on her assertion that “you do not have to be a resident of Iowa to be able to participate in the caucus” by clarifying that “voting in the Iowa caucus is limited to registered voters in Iowa”.
Listen to the interview excerpt and decide for yourself what Casey DeSantis meant:
We’ve built a nationwide coalition of moms who are mobilized to help elect @RonDeSantis: Mamas for DeSantis.

CNN announced earlier today that they will be hosting two more unsanctioned Republican debates before the Iowa Caucus on January 15th and the New Hampshire Republican primary on January 23rd. On Friday morning, the RNC released the candidates from their pledge not to participate in non-sanctioned debates.
As part of the requirements to debate, however, candidates must be polling at 10% or greater in at least 3 national polls and/or the respective state primary polls, according to CNN.
To qualify for participation in the Iowa debate, candidates must receive at least 10% in three separate national and/or Iowa polls of Republican caucusgoers or primary voters that meet CNN’s standards for reporting, according to the network. One of the three polls must be an approved CNN poll of likely Iowa Republican caucusgoers.
Candidates will be invited to participate in the New Hampshire debate if they receive at least 10% in three separate national and/or New Hampshire polls of Republican primary voters that meet CNN’s standards for reporting. One of the three polls must be an approved CNN poll of likely New Hampshire Republican primary voters. Candidates who finish in one of the top three positions in the Iowa caucuses will receive an invitation to participate in the New Hampshire debate.
The most recent Emerson Data published by Interactive Polls shows President Trump leading the field by a whopping 50% with Haley at 14% and DeSantis at 7%. Haley and DeSantis both, at the moment, meet the CNN polling requirement, according to FiveThirtyEight’s aggregate.

Apple to make a quarter of all iPhones in India
Apple has begun plans to produce a quarter of the world’s iPhones in India alongside supplier Foxconn Technology Group, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Insiders told the WSJ the production plans would see the world’s most valuable company invest in India and build more than 50 million devices there annually.
After fears of dependence on China, Apple is one of several multinational tech companies moving more of its production to India. Foxconn – a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer – will open a new plant in Karnataka, in India’s southwest, in April. This one factory alone is anticipated to mass-produce 20 million devices a year, and the majority will be iPhones.
