Have you ever wished an author or publisher would combine the stories of a series into one book? Well Andrew J. Peters and Vagabondage Romance Publishing have done just that with the WERECAT series. Right now you can only get the Trilogy in paper back but you can still get the individual stories as eBooks as well.
The first three stories of the WERECAT series have been combined into one sweet read. Now I don’t mean sweet as in warm and fuzzy because this isn’t your warm and fuzzy kind of shifter story, although it does have its moments. I mean it as in “Sweet” all I have to do is flip the page, no distractions to continue the story. You might call the way they combined these stories the ultimate in box sets.
Andrew J Peters wrote each story with just the bare minimum of repetition in the beginning of each story so you are not rereading the last story twice as you progress. Another bonus is you still get to enjoy all three covers too, they are included. I’m not a fan of a lot of time switching, going from the present to the past. There is quite a bit in the first book but it was needed to set up the series and Andrew did make it work well for the story.
I really enjoyed Andrews take on the Weres in his story. These are not born Weres. There is an old and possibly dark magic to the transformation from human to werecat. Little spoiler here, it isn’t just a quick little bite that starts this transformation. Nor is it a sexual thing, but that can be included too. *wink* I also enjoyed his choice of animal for his weres. Big cats (lions, tigers, panthers and other assorted species of big cats are included) are not really large pack animals which add to this story. Not only because cats are one of my favorite animals but because he has included a bit of the spiritual connection between them and humans. Andrew has also given us a reason to look at our own cats as well as the neighborhood cats with a little suspicion.
With magic comes mystery and intrigue. The werecats are dwindling in numbers and something has to be done to ensure their survival. They are ready to do whatever it takes. Whether that means going to war or reclaiming the old magic, old magic that has fallen into the hands of a new werecat. One who hasn’t lost his human connection while learning about his new life and trying to hang on to his humanity. As well as the man he loves.
This is one or three stories you will enjoy. It does end on a cliff hanger but never fear Andrew isn’t going to leave us hanging. He is planning one possibly two more stories to bring this adventure to an exciting end. Keep your eyes open and on Andrew J Peters. So grab you cute little kitty, get comfy and enjoy.

There is absolutely no secret that I love Ms. McKenna’s special twists on the Werewolf trope in her “Tameness of the Wolf” series. Strength of the Mate is book 3, and while it can be read as a stand-alone, it is my personal opinion that The Strength of the Series-if you will pardon my pun-is in learning about this aspect of Wolf culture from the beginning, along with the rest of humanity…and wolfdom, for that matter. Having said that, if you are starting with this book, there is no doubt you will want to go back to fill in the marvelous blanks…
The military setting in the dead of the Iraq conflict continues with civilian Contactor Adam Madison trying to battle his fears, his personal demons, his family connections and his growing attraction to the True Alpha’s Omega wolf, Gunnery Sergeant Dawson Rivers. Dawson was sent to Iraq by the True Alpha to figure out and correct issues within the Marine company’s Weres. Adam has ties to the True Alpha and his Dominant via his older brother, but he also has a strained relationship with all his family due to a painful past he has not fully reconciled.
The entire series centres around the Dominant wolves and the control, safety and prosperity of their packs, and the importance of the aid and comfort their human mates lend to that end. All of it is based in lore, though the practical side of the lore and the inherent benefits, have not been manifest in generations. These pairings are revered in the Were culture, and come to be respected and encouraged in the human one; specially in these military settings.
But everyone is learning as they go along, and mistakes happen, opportunists arise, and only the developing bonds of the wolf-Mate pairs are strong enough to prevail. As if a relationship in the midst of war isn’t difficult enough to nurture, Adam and Dawson have the wellbeing of the Marine Company, the Pack within the Company, the Contractor’s employees and the future good of the Were race to consider as they deal with their feelings, their pasts and their present.
When the natural danger of war raise its head and strikes at Adam, the importance of relationship…mate, family, company and culture…all takes precedence and the fates align to create another peace, and strengthen another alliance.
This book and this series plunk an imaginative fantasy world into a recognizable real-world, and delivers action, suspense and romance all wrapped up in a 5 Star escape.

HELP RELOCATE AUTHOR TN TARRANT and her Lit’l Piglet
Talon and I happen to be among a great community of authors who have always come together to help support each other, even if its just a prayer or a hug. But sometimes hugs arent eneough. Authors rarely make enough income of their work to be note worthy and rely on other employment to make ends meet.
Now one of our own has been laid off from her job, typically without warning. With winter setting in, its a hard time to cut back on much of anything, though she has, and its still not enought to get by. And the fear of losing their apartment is creep close.
Her former employer has given her an opportunity to transfer to a new location and be reinstated into full time work, but the option is out of state, and they don’t help with relocation expenses.
So now we are pulling on everyone’s heart strings and Christmas Spirit coat tails, asking you to help.
WIth a goal of $5000.00, Theresa can afford to pay a deposit with first and last months rent on a new apartment, cover the deposits for utility services, cover a rental truck to move her and her daughter, and still have a little left over to fill the fridge up with food. Maybe even cover a few bills until income from her new job starts to come in.

The plot has slowly thickened to a tasty Raphael-Power stew over the course of this series, and no one is quite as enticing as Uber Lord Raphael. Until Vincent. Vincent brings his own Uber to the Council table, making the Vampires in America series put readers on notice.
While none of the Vampire Lords made or in the making over the course of this series have been lacking, neither have any had the individual standing of Raphael – at least for this reader. Vincent brings a younger, fresher (by several hundred years) but every bit as impressive je ne sais quoi to the burgeoning North American Alliance, and don’t it make your brown eyes blue?!
Similarly, his human mate, thoughtfully “provided” by Cyn and Raphael, has some very Cyn-esque qualities of her own. Not only does this combination provide another winning familiarity to the romance side of the mix, it seriously ups the ante for the pending power battle.
And you just know the battle will be epic. And it will leave marks. And it will be in that very unapologetically vampire way of Ms. Reynolds’ vamps.
No one sparkles in this series, folks. Well, unless they are going up in screaming flames at the time. And that is as it should be. A very hearty recommend, and a very impatient wait for what’s next, starting with the cat-and-mouse game we left the ever-so controlled Raphael tantalizing us with…

Talking Kink n Seduction – Guys vs. Girls: One bisexual viewpoint
I get a lot of questions about my sexuality, not the least being “Wait, aren’t you gay?”
And the answer is No, I am not gay. I am a man, married very happily to another man (he IS gay, but that is not the point.) I am bisexual, which means I like men and women. My marriage didn’t lock in my desires to one gender, it just happens I met a person who makes me very happy, and they happen to be male.
I still love to look at women, and talk to women and see them in a sexual manner. (No, women are not sex objects; I am making a point about my desires.) My best friend is a woman and she is fucking gorgeous. Since my husband and I occasionally bring others into our bed, I even still have sex with women, and I love it just as much as I love sex with my husband.
This is not to say that I need to be sexually involved with both genders. I do not need it, but I do enjoy it. I am happily married, and we are not polyamorous.
But men and women are different, and here’s where my Bisexuality shows. I like hard men. Manly men. Muscles and happy trails and scruffy chins. RAWR! But I also like soft women. Plush, curvy, a little rounded through her legs and up to her breasts. I like stretch marks and all those perfect imperfections that tell you the story of a woman’s body.
I’m not attracted to many androgynous or Trans people. Sorry. You can still be a beautiful person on the inside, I will still like you, but you probably won’t be my choice in bed partner. That is the realm of PANsexuality, which is another misunderstood area of the GLBTQ umbrella, and it’s not me.
Another question I get is “Why did you marry a man?”
Answer: I love him, we make each other happy.
And the last question I will address today is: “What’s the difference between dating guys and dating girls?”
Whoa. Ok, first keep in mind the kind of people I am attracted to. My “types” involved. The first difference is, GIRLS are higher maintenance. They take longer in the bathroom, their hormones are always fluctuating, they need this whole ritual in Order to go out or have sex or… well, anything.
Secondly, and this is highly personalized here, GUYS are easier to relate to. As a guy, I have a certain way I think and a process to move from one emotion to another. Most guys have a similar process. Girls have a different process that guys are incapable of understanding. (We may smile and say “Yes, it’s ok. You’re not crazy.” But we are LYING.) If I see pizza, my brain goes “Cool. Food. I can eat, sure.” I do not stop to count ANYTHING. Calories, carbs, fat, protein, IDC.
Third thing, very trivial, but if something pops in my head as a sexy thing to do to entice my husband, odds are he will find it sexy. Wake up with an erection? Easy: slide his hand over it and (if I’m a good boy,) he will help me with my kickstand dilemma. He looks like he’s working too hard? Bring him a beer and crawl under the table to give him head. That’s a GREAT idea with a guy. Girls? Not as much. They have a different idea of romance.
Another thing is smell. Guys sweat. I run with my husband when I can, and I LOVE the smell of him when he’s done with a workout. Pre-shower. I want all over that, when his male pheromones are floating around and the testosterone is high, I long to crawl over him and rediscover every sweaty inch. (The adrenalin is usually pumping, which ups the sex drive too, so he usually lets me. Win/Win.) With girls, my experience is that you have to shower and re-dress and re-cologne and by the time that’s all done, the adrenalin is gone and I’m kinda tired. (I did just workout after all.) So being with a man, to me, is more sexually spontaneous.
Which is not to say I don’t love women. I really do. I love taking the time to romance her on the dance floor, to cook for her and bring her pretty things. I love telling her how beautiful she is and making her believe it every morning.
But the fact remains, they are different.
