[image error]I was in at the doctor’s this morning for my annual physical, and after she heard about my piled-up deadlines, she asked about inspiration. I basically told her my inspiration comes from the need to pay the mortgage. Paying the rent and utility bills and buying groceries have long been the source of inspiration for writers. I finished the “polishing” stage on Book #69 (not telling the title just yet) on Thursday afternoon. When I opened my Mail program to send it to my editor, in came an email from a different editor who was sending me the typeset pages of Beloved (Book #68) which need to be proofed and returned by May 16.
