And I was going to do just that as soon as Derek rescued me from the closet. It had occurred to me before that dating a guy who still lived at home was going to be a problem, but it was hard to be choosy when nearly every guy my age had already taken off to college. I was on the delayed-start plan myself, trying to save up enough money by working temporary and part-time jobs to go away next year. That’s how I’d met Derek and wound up naked in his closet. I had a knack for situations like this.

“Make sure you water the rhododendrons every afternoon or they’ll die, and do it today, please.” His mother had been listing all the chores she needed done when she left on her Alaskan cruise in the morning. So far she’d been here for what felt to be an hour. I didn’t actually have a watch. Hello, naked. But I had a cramp in my thigh that was getting worse by the minute, and it felt like I’d achieved a level sixty in discomfort.

“And no overnight visitors,” she finished.

“Of course, Mom,” Derek said.

“Especially not that Natalie girl. I don’t think she’s a good influence.”

Emma's thoughts: WOW, what a fantastic book, this is the first paranormal one that I have read for ages, I kinda moved away from that genre onto NA/Adult romance but I've got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed Falling to Pieces and would quite like to read a few more as always had a thing about vampires and werewolves.

Teagan is a very likable character, she's your take no crap vampire who previous to becoming a vampire had a hard life but I love her attitude ~ she sees something she wants and she goes for it even though she found out it was wrong and against the rules and who could blame her where Marc is concerned, he is a hottie and I don't think I’d say no either, lol, the sexual tension between them sizzles and there are some pretty hot scenes in this book.

I am very intrigued by Bartholomew ~ he’s kinda hot in a mysterious way and would love to find out more about him *hint, hint Lucy :)

This is L.T Kelly’s debut novel and boy she has done a fantastic job, she is a lovely person and I can’t wait to find out what’s next in store for Teagan and Marc, something tells me that the path to true love never runs smoothly and I don’t think it will be for them but they belong together and should make for another brilliant read and they deserve their happy ending.

So all that’s left to say is Congratulations to Lucy on an amazing novel that is ~ Falling to Pieces :)












L.T. Kelly was born and raised in Solihull, UK. She started writing short stories at school where her teachers offered her lots of feedback and encouragement. Aged seventeen she joined the Royal Air Force, her career didn't reserve a lot of time to write so she pushed her passion for it to the back of her mind. After an eleven and a half year career she started writing short stories again until a friend commented that she should write a novel. She has always had an unhealthy obsession with vampires, so of course it was inevitable that a plot involving vampires would be the first to spring to mind. L.T. “Hey,” a soft feminine voice pulled my eyes away from the pieces, “you got an appointment?”

I lost my words. Like they literally flew out my head the moment my eyes landed on her.

She was short, her head reaching only to the base of my neck—which meant she was probably not all that short since I was six and a half feet tall. Clearly Asian, with maybe a mix of something else. Her skin was dusky and pearlescent, almost seemed to gleam under the lights, and every inch of her had some sort of design on it. She wasn't exactly covered, but she was a framework of art. Mostly shades of white, black, and gray, with pink and red splashes of color throughout. A pink and white lotus flower trail started at her neck and disappeared beneath the halter of her black and white polka dotted dress.

Her bangs were razor blade straight, and her hair hung heavy to her waist. There were even tattoos on her face, small feminine ones. Three tiny stars rested at the corner of her big, honey colored eyes.

I blinked, swallowing hard.

She wore a huge, red flower in her hair and the only make-up she had on was around her eyes. Black eyeliner that turned her already cat eyes dangerously sultry.

Dressed differently than any other girl I’d ever seen, she wore the fifties throw back dress with rockin’ red suede pumps.

Damn, the girl was smokin’. Every inch of her and what I couldn't do back in that flea-infested bathroom I felt starting to happen here. I cleared my throat and shifted around, hoping God of Thunder would behave himself.

By the time my eyes made the rounds she was wearing a small smirk on her plump lips...

I look around, following Alex's gaze and it’s like someone just pulled the floor out from under me. A petite Hispanic woman is walking toward him with an equally large smile on her face.

Her hair is dark and silky, glinting under the dim red lights of the bar. It spills down her back in a graceful heap. Her body is toned and trim, legs a mile long and encased in a tight pair of red pants. A white top accentuates the bronze of her arms.

But her face is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. Heart shaped, with a tiny cleft in the jaw, full lipped and a short button nose. She stops in front of us carrying the scent of flowers with her.

Which is amazing I can even smell that because the bar reeks of scotch and smoke and food.

Turning green eyes toward me, she smiles. “Hi, I’m Liliana.”

I don’t know what I expected Cade to do, but what he does, has my
head spinning. He takes me to a private bar out the back, and locks the door.
It’s empty, and my guess, not used a great deal. I watch as he stalks over to the bar and walks around, picking up a bottle of whiskey. He flicks the top off, and puts it to his mouth, drinking. I watch as his throat moves, and oh my, I think my panties just went from soaked to drenched. When he puts the bottle down, he opens the nearby freezer and pulls out some ice. He shrugs off his leather jacket, grips the hem of his shirt and tears it off. I stare, eyes wide.

Cade is f**king beautiful. Every inch of him would make any

Well where to start with this review..... Well lets start by me giving it a well deserved 5 Hearts and in all honesty I would give it more if I could!!

Diary of a Dieter is without a doubt one of the best books I have ever read, never have I laughed so much whilst reading, my hubby was giving me strange looks as I was proper belly chuckling laughing out loud, he asked what I was laughing at and as I am trying to tell him I have tears rolling down my face and he is laughing at me......HILARIOUS ~ (Pole dancing is all I’m gonna say), and Gran well don't get me started on dear old Gran who's in her 80's.....man I wish I had a Gran like that, I'd probably be embarrassed but she just says it like it is and then some, what comes out of that woman's mouth is just pure gold...loved it with a massive LOL! All the characters in this book are all so likeable and believable ~ well maybe not Brad, but you'll find out more about the characters when you get your hands on it.
This book quite simply has it all ~ laughter (by the bucket loads), romance, sensitivity and actually reminded me very much of a Bridget Jones type of storyline but different if that makes sense, this would make a cracking film and I reckon would have cinemas ram jammed... let’s hope it gets snapped up!!
I’m not going to put any spoilers in this review and that is simply because you need to read it yourself and I’m not going to spoil it for anyone....this book is a real treat and you will not regret getting it ~ so what are you waiting for.... press one click and get it now!! Just make sure you’ve got a few hours spare coz you ain’t gonna want to put it down... this is a real pick me up read.
All that’s left for me to do is say a massive Congratulations to Marie on an amazing book and I can’t wait for the next one ~ whatever that may be!
