Who is your 1 archetype right now? – Choose your archetype to transform now

Hello Spiritual Warrior, today we will be exploring archetypes. Who is your archetype? What person or trait would you like to embody?

Hello Spiritual Warriors!! When you are just about to leap – into a job… a relationship… a business… a new way of being, doing, or thinking… sometimes we can feel like we don’t have the energy or confidence or courage or smarts to take us to the next level. 

Sometimes it’s a little voice in our head telling us we can’t do it; sometimes it’s a person in our life shaking their head or smirking; and sometimes it’s the circumstances that seem so daunting, over-whelming, or over-powering. When we realize that we don’t have what it takes in the critical moment – that’s when can begin awakening archetypes.

What is an archetype? 

Basically, it’s the embodiment in another being, myth, or force of nature that contains the trait or characteristic we need to access in the critical moment. For example, an easy archetype to understand might be if you have to lift a heavy object – let’s say, moving big boxes from one room to another. In that moment – since you are not a body-builder- you would call upon someone who is! Not by dialing the phone… but by connecting to them inside your very body!! 

So in this instance, you would awaken your inner Hulk, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Thor, Sumo Wrestler, or the Supreme Box Lifter that rests inside yourself. We’d call upon whomever we think of when we think of pure strength… we’d connect with that energy, and we’d move those boxes!!

archetypeArchetypes are states of information, energy and awareness that rest sleeping inside us. By awakening archetypes, we summon the power to find our next gear. Archetypes exist in the collective domain of the unmanifest and are available to each of us at any time. They exist as a god or goddess in embryo waiting to be born. And they can take the form or shape of whatever it is we are trying to summon.

Need more strength? More courage? More grace? More compassion? More patience? More awareness? More resilience? More tenderness? More impeccability? More understanding? More determination? More creativity? More kindness? More forgiveness? More boldness? More wisdom?

We are awakening archetypes when we simply plant the seeds of our intentions & desires. If we do it on a regular basis, we get more skilled at it and the archetypal energies we summon start flowing to us more consistently. 

So make your list today of your top ten archetypes for moving you through your life. Actually write them down and read the list a few times throughout the day. Feel free to delete archetypes that are no longer needed or who have worn out their usefulness; and feel fee to add new ones as new challenges, circumstances, and situations reveal themselves.

Within a few days, you’ll have them all at your fingertips – and whenever you need a little extra something – POW! – call upon them and see what happens.

Balance Your Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine Instantly – 15 Minute Guided Meditation

Hello Spiritual Warrior, today we will be exploring the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine within all of us. Where you were born male or female, we all have both of these energies.

This Universe is created by both male and female energies. These two types of energies flow through everything that exists.

The dualistic nature of the Universe exists because of these energies which are opposite, yet compliment each other: Day and Night, Light and Dark, Expansion and Contraction, Hot and Cold, Thought and Emotion, Order and Chaos, Yin and Yang. These all at their core are different expressions of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energies. 

The main differences between the two energies of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine:

Male Energy is direct, like a straight line, or an upward facing triangle. It projects outward, it secures and has a giving nature.

Female Energy is cyclic, like a circle, or sometimes identified with a downward facing triangle. It’s directed inward, it nurtures and has a receiving nature.

divine feminine and divine masculineWhen they both work together, they dance and form a spiral, moving upwards, thriving and growing. The two sides of your body are reflecting the energies of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine: left being predominately feminine and the right side being more masculine.

The brain is in reverse, i.e the right eye is connected to the left side of your brain and the left eye is connected to the right side of your brain. Left side of the brain (male) is considered to be more logical and analytical whereas the right side (female) is considered more artistic and spiritual.

From these stems the fact that the left hemisphere of your brain is involved in the language and logical reasoning whereas the right hemisphere is involved in the emotional processing.

Let’s go a little deeper with this 15 minute guided meditation; you will leave this meditation feeling more whole and integrated!

Practice Letting Go! – Easy Tips for Releasing What No Longer Serves You in 3 Mins

Hello Spiritual Warrior, where have you been holding on too tightly? Where can you let go? In this short video, we'll practice letting go of what no longer serves you.

Like the daily practice of meditation – the process of lessening our resistance includes surrendering, accepting, detaching, and then trusting that this moment is THE moment – bringing our awareness to the fluidity and evolutionary nature of life. This is what is means to practice letting go. 

When we oppose what is flowing into us, we are saying NO to the universe. We are denying our most divine nature. When we resist, we suddenly put an end to infinite possibilities. And so of course it would follow that when we resist letting go, we are also denying the Universe.

practice letting goThere are many lessons (and growing pains) along the journey of our life, which may contribute to the underlying challenge that makes us reluctant to trust and welcome the unknown. But we can shift that non-nourishing mindset very easily and quickly by beginning the processing of ALLOWING ourselves to receive what’s being offered to us right now.

But if your hand is tightly clenched in a fist holding onto something, it’s incapable of receiving. When you resist letting go, there is only one outcome that you are carving into the moment. Simply by opening yourself to another outcome rather than one, life expands, new possibilities arise, and your choices become liberating as fear and constriction drift away. You can practice letting go just one thing to get this new momentum moving. 

Miracles often appear when we least expect them…when we are innocent and vulnerable to the next moment. The magic of life surges into us when we remain open without expectation & are willing to listen without assuming that we know how the universe is supposed to unfold.

As the Seventh Dalai Lama wrote, “All things found in the world and beyond are illusions created by one’s own concepts. Grasping at them but further distorts perception. Give up grasping and see things as they are.”

So, this week, let’s give up grasping… let’s give up fear… let’s give up RESISTING… let’s truly practice LETTING GO! The best is yet to come.

Release Negative Energy and End Suffering- 20 Minute Guided Meditation

Hello Spiritual Warrior, have you been letting the weight of the world rest on you? Today we meditating to release negative energy and end suffering.

Compassion literally means “to suffer together with,” and is considered among the greatest of virtues. In the Buddhist tradition, suffering is an aspect of the human condition that should be recognized and can then be overcome. Compassion is illuminated in the The Four Noble Truths:

end suffering1. All existence is dukkha. “Dukkha”  is suffering, anguish or pain, and The Buddha said that our lives are a struggle, and we do not find ultimate happiness or satisfaction in anything we experience. This is the problem of existence.

2. The truth of the origin of dukkha. It is humans’ natural tendency is to blame difficulties on things outside ourselves, but their actual root is found in the mind itself. Particularly, our tendency to grasp at things — or to push them away — places us fundamentally at odds with the way life really is.

3. The cessation of dukkha comes with the cessation of craving. Because we are the ultimate cause of our difficulties, we are also the solution. We cannot change the things that happen to us, but we can change our responses.

4. The path that leads to the cessation of dukkha. The Buddha teaches that we are ultimately responsible for ending our suffering, and he also taught methods through which we can change ourselves.

How to find more clarity in life- 5 minute video lesson

Hello Spiritual Warrior, are you feeling stuck? Today we are exploring how to find more clarity in life and flow with the natural rhythm of the Universe.

This week we are exploring how to find more clarity in life. Sometimes we go through phases of not really being sure of what comes next. Maybe you’re going through this kind of transition right now. 

I know many people are experiencing the uncertainty that comes with a big transition as we all navigate our way out of a more locked down state in quarantine to one that has been gradually opening up again. 

So, if you are wanting to find more clarity in your life right now, just know that you are not alone. And i have come up with this simple exercise to give you more insight into what you would really like to see unfold in your life next. I  have talked about it before, but I would like to bring it up again for the sake of this week’s theme. I call it the Breaking through the Clouds Exercise. 

find more claritySo, let’s try it now. Grab your journal or a blank piece of paper, your favorite pen or pencil, go to a peaceful, quiet place, and settle in. Ready? Okay, let’s take the first step to find more clarity: 

What’s a current issue or disturbance that is challenging me right now? What is the impact that this issue or disturbance is creating in my physical life? What is the impact that this issue or disturbance is creating in my emotional state? What is the impact that this issue or disturbance is creating in my material world? What is the impact that this issue or disturbance is creating in my relationships? What is the impact that this issue or disturbance is creating in my spiritual life? What happens if I do nothing? What would I like to see unfold? What are the top three characteristics, core traits, skill sets, or strengths that will best move me through this challenge? How brightly am I willing to shine my inner sun to break through the clouds?

What inspires you? Solar plexus & heart chakra – 20 minute guided meditation

Hello Spiritual Warrior, this week we are exploring what inspires you... what really ignites the fire within and gets you moving when you're stuck?

If you are currently finding yourself in a rut, or if you’re feeling stuck, or if you are not really sure what the next phase of your life will bring… this is the perfect meditation to start the flow of energy to discover what inspires you. 

This meditation will be more energy based when focusing on what inspires you. We will not focus on particular areas of life like we do in my “5 Realms” meditation, but instead we will focus on two chakra energy centers: the solar plexus chakra and the heart chakra. 

The solar plexus chakra, also known as the manipura chakra, is the the lock it down, get it done, follow through chakra within the body. It sits about 7 fingers above the navel and it is where the embers of your passion, drive, and ambition rest. The color is yellow and the vibration is RAAM. We’ll be chanting that a little later in this meditation to begin to wake up the telling signs of what inspires you. 

what inspires youAlso, we will bring our attention to the heart chakra… your sweet, tender heart, also known as the anahata which means unstruck or untainted. The heart is your passion center, this is where you decide on what you will dedicate the energy of the solar plexus. What does your heart long for? What do you want to dedicate your time and energy to? The color of the heart is green and the vibration is HAAM or HUUM

So, what inspires you? What sparks your passion? What holds your stars apart and your universe together? This is the time to dream BIG!!! We’re not holding back… we’re not playing small… throw caution to the wind!!! 

This is your time… this is your now… this is your moment. Let’s dive into this week’s meditation, spark your passion and move boldly into the direction of what inspires you.

What to do when you feel depressed, lonely, anxious, or lost… 1 easy tool

Hello Spiritual Warrior, this week we are exploring what to do when you feel depressed, lonely anxious, or lost. This 1 easy tool might surprise you.

“I don’t want to be at the mercy of my emotions. I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them.”  ―Oscar Wilde

We live each moment of our life through the ebb and flow of emotions. It’s almost as if each beat of our heart, and every breath we take, move us in one direction or another. We are a bundle of conditioned emotions that are primed to respond to the momentary assessment of whether our needs have been met or not.

When you feel depressed, lonely, anxious, or lost the natural reaction to that kind of emotional pain is to pull back, to run from it, hide from it, or push it away.

And we can pretty much do that with everything that comes at us in our life. Yet, if we spend our lives dodging every uncomfortable emotion that bubbles up, we stay in the same constricted place. Never moving forward. Never growing. 

To live a bold, rich, growth-filled and ever-evolving life, you need to acknowledge and accept the thorns in life just as we celebrate the beauty in it. Even when you feel depressed, you can start the gentle process of sitting with your emotions as they arise. 

Allow yourself to truly feel and experience life – the good and the bad!

A rookie mistake for so many Spiritual Warriors on the path to one-ness is the desire to only want to see sunshine and rainbows – but in the process they deny their growth, they deny their humanity, they deny their potential. When you feel depressed, lonely, anxious, or lost, that is actually valuable information on where you have unmet needs. 

The moment we restrict ourselves to only “good news” or only “pleasant” experiences is the moment we stop living. 

To understand that in our brokenness and sadness, we embrace our wholeness… and the wholeness of life, is one of the most important lessons we as human beings can learn. When you feel depressed or lonely, this is part of the human experience. When you joyful and fulfilled, this is also part of the human experience.

When you feel depressed and you suppress that emotion, you’re likely to express it inadvertently in other avenues by being snide, sarcastic, snarky, retaliatory, biting, harsh, or downright mean to people who had nothing to do with your initial frustration.

Suppressing feelings is now scientifically proven to lead to poor memory, relationship challenges, and deeper health issues as our body is influenced so strongly by our subjective conscious experiences.

when you feel depressed We can rise above the constriction by heightening our emotional intelligence, by learning to sit with our emotions and working toward “owning” these four capabilities:Identify how you are feeling in a given moment. Label your emotion. Notice what thoughts are producing certain emotions or feelings inside of you.Express the emotion as you remain present with it. Let the emotion to be seen, heard, and felt. Express the emotion in the way it is asking to be expressed. Release the emotion once it has been fully expressed. 

If you don’t know how you feel or why you feel a certain way, you will experience emotional overwhelm or confusion and won’t be able to communicate effectively, meet your needs, or resolve disagreements.

But if you can master your emotional intelligence, you will flow with less stress and make better decisions even when you feel depressed. And, the more successful you are at heightening these core skill sets, the happier and more fulfilled you will be.

Before I ever shared these teachings with others, I studied emotional healing for a decade under Dr. David Simon, & attended the Hoffman Institute, where I was taught to deconstruct my emotional blue print.

I then spent five years, reconstructing it, so could help others move through the same process. I began integrating these powerful teachings into my workshops, immersions, retreats, and Teacher Trainings where thousands have experienced emotional breakthroughs & stepped into their power.

Accepting this Moment & Releasing Resistance Right Now – 15 Minute Guided Meditation

Hello Spiritual Warrior, in this meditation, you will practice releasing resistance and accepting this moment exactly as it is - pure, whole and perfect.

I’ve talked about the concept of accepting this moment many times and in many different ways. Typically in the context of how our need for acceptance drives so many of our daily and life decisions. How we crave this acceptance – in the grandest ways and in the smaller moments.

Acceptance is a beautiful teaching with many different levels. It is the root and the foundation of many wisdom traditions including Buddhist compassion teachings, the ancient Hindu Law of Least Effort, and Christ Consciousness. But regardless of your orientation to these belief systems, you can find powerful, personal evolution by practicing accepting this moment – accepting that this moment is pure, whole and perfect, accepting yourselfm and accepting others. 

accepting this momentA little bit more on the three core levels of acceptance:Accepting this Moment – accepting that this moment is pure, whole, and perfect. And every moment leading up to this moment was exactly the way it was meant to be. This moment is the magnificent culmination of all of your life choices; every experience that has woven itself in, around, and through you; and every one of the 31 million seconds that have ticked by in just this year alone! It couldn’t be any other way.Accepting Yourself – you are a divine being who is sealed in this human body for the span of a lifetime and that you have made choices and decisions throughout your life from your highest level of consciousness at the time. Even though there are choices you may regret or torture yourself about, they are carved in stone and we must accept them, forgive ourselves, and make better choices in the future.Accepting Others – accepting them for exactly who they are – not as we wish they would be. Allowing people’s differences, quirks, unique vibrations to just be and not necessarily fit into our box of how the world is supposed to be. Allowing others to be as they are.

When you practice accepting the moment, you finally recognize that wherever you are, for you to evolve your life, improve your situation, or find deeper fulfillment you must own the present moment.

How to Be the BEST VERSION of Yourself – 1 Simple Rule

Hello Spiritual Warrior, today we are discussing how to be the BEST VERSION of yourself. I'll give you 1 simple rule in this video to get closer to your best version.

Excuses, excuses! We have a million of them; a million reasons why we haven’t started that project, why we haven’t made that commitment, why we’re waiting for the right moment. We stall our dreams waiting for the perfect moment… but what is perfection, really?

Perfection is progress. Perfection is evolution! Perfection is us embracing the wholeness of life. Many of us carry a heavy burden to be perfect in all aspects of our lives; to always do the right thing, make the right choice, use the right words, move in the right direction. But, perfection really isn’t the ultimate goal. The goal is showing up a little bit better than you did yesterday, slowly building up the best versions of yourself.

Sometimes when we focus too much on the end result, we lose sight of the magnificent process of growth… of progress… continually moving in the direction of our goals – in the direction of the best version of yourself – while staying mindful of the steps we’re taking to get there.

best version of yourselfBut here we are, with the tools of meditation, mindfulness, community support, I have given you these tools for FREE because you have been a loyal member of this community. There are no more excuses! You can make the decision to move forward today! Don’t like the imaginary ideal of “perfection” hold you back from taking the first step. This is a process of evolution, not the process of trying to reach the illusory “perfect” self. 

Our lives are full of ups and downs, happiness and sadness, fear and courage. This process of back and forth, not just mindlessly living it but actually embracing it, THIS IS PROGRESS! This is how you take one step, day by day, to get a little closer to the best version of yourself.

But it can be overwhelming, however, to embrace life when you’re struggling. That’s when you lean on your meditation practice to get you through, give you clarity, and help you move through difficult times with greater ease and grace.

So, this week let’s embrace the good with the bad and focus on progress, evolution and leaning in the direction of our dreams!!! And don’t be so hard on yourself as you move through this process!

My Morning Meditation Practice (Set Powerful Intentions for the Day!) – 25 Minute Guided Meditation

Hello Spiritual Warrior, today we'll dive into my morning meditation practice. So, let's settle in, breathe, ask sacred questions, and set powerful intentions for the rest of the day.

Many of us have specific rituals that we do each morning. Some of us practice yoga, pray, or meditate. Others ask reflective questions or repeat affirmations, and others do heart-opening exercises. These ritualized behaviors are essential to beginning our day on the right path, subtly setting the course that our day will follow.

Starting your day with a meditation ritual provides the perfect environment for your intentions to embed and for your day to unfold with greater grace and greater ease.

When we set an intention and go into meditation, it’s like planting a seed and then going into the garden to cultivate it with quietude. Now we have a seed pregnant with possibilities, a seed with a built-in manifestation being planted into a vibrationally fertile environment that will help it thrive.

Ritual + Meaning = Transformation

In this 25 minute meditation, my morning meditation practice, we will honor the power of starting the day with ritual and introspection.  You will create a powerful trajectory for you to move through your day with calm, clarity, decisiveness, and the strength to make new bold, fearless choices.

From this moment forward, your day will be filled with intention, grace and ease.

Inspiration for cultivating your own daily practice

I’ll go through my personal morning meditation practice in this meditation, but you can also formulate your own morning ritual using these five transformational daily practices. These can be used individually or in combination.

Cultivating a morning meditation practice offers you an opportunity to cultivate attention, intention, and action for the rest of your day. These are powerful tools for personal transformation: 

Ask Sacred Questions – who am I? what does my heart truly long for? what am I grateful for? Plant Intentions – this could be a single word affirmation, a state of mind, or an action you would like to take or see unfold in your life. Repeat a Sacred Affirmation or Mantra – This mantra or affirmation can be repeated in Sanskrit or your native language. It can relate to your intention, or it can be the mantra you always use like your Nakshatra birth star mantra.Meditate  – Do the actual meditation – which means sitting in stillness and silence anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Begin Your Day – There is no running to or from meditation, so take your time to wrap up your morning meditation practice. As much intention you put into beginning the ritual, honor the end just as much. More On Asking Sacred Questions…

morning meditationWe begin our day by finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down. We settle in, place our hands on our hearts, and begin the practice of asking the Sacred Questions.

Simply ask the first question over and over for about a minute, and let answers innocently flow. Don’t force! Then do the same with the second question, then the third. Spend up to a minute with each question. When you have completed the process, take a long, slow, deep breath in, and release all the questions and any answers that arose.

Then invite an intention into your mind. Get clear on it, invite it into your heart, and plant that intention like a seed in the fertile soil of your heart. Then breathe in deeply, and let it go as you exhale. Leave it up to the Universe to work out all the details.

And Planting Intentions… 

Then invite your intention into your awareness. Allow it to crystallize. And when you are clear on it, invite it into your heart. Begin a gentle, slow process of deep breathing as you see it clearly move into your heart; and keep breathing deeply. Envision your endgame, your goal, your target.

Notice how manifesting your intention makes you feel . . . in your body, in your mind, in your heart. Slowly witness the progressive steps you will need to take to bring you to that moment – the behaviors, conversations, actions you need to do.

What does it look like when it has manifested?

How does it feel when it has actually become a reality?

Visualize the whole process unfolding from the very first seed until its fulfillment. Own it all. And then plant your intention like a seed deep in your heart. Take a deep breath in to anchor it . . . and let it go. You don’t need to think about it anymore.

From this moment forward, every time you connect with the stillness and silence inside your heart, you will strengthen the intention and activate its birth in your life. And begin to repeat your mantra – birth star, Sanskrit mantra, English mantra, or something else. 

Morning Meditation Practice 

Now that you’ve set the table by asking your Sacred Questions, letting answers flow, inviting your intention into your heart, and releasing it out into the Universe, it’s time to meditate.

Whenever we plant a seed, we first burrow it in fertile soil. Then we water it, and we trust that the seed will grow. When we meditate, we take a “time-in”. We allow the outside world to simply be. We release our grip on how we believe everything is supposed to unfold. We till the soil that will hold our seed and make it as fertile as possible.

Meditation is our incubation period, where we quiet our body and mind. Once we’ve planted our intention and released it, we trust the Master Plan of the Universe to work out the details.

Early morning practice cultivates the soil of our existence so that our intentions will have a garden to flourish. So, let’s go through that process right now with this week’s morning meditation practice.
