3 Keys to Have More Acceptance & Letting Go of the Need to Control Now
I’ve talked about the concept of acceptance many times, typically, in the context of how our need for acceptance drives so many of our daily and life decisions. How we need to feel the ripple of someone or something bigger than us. How we crave this acceptance – in the grandest ways and in the smaller moments.
This week, we’re exploring acceptance in a different way.
Acceptance is a beautiful teaching with many different levels. It is the root and the foundation of many wisdom traditions including Buddhist compassion teachings, the ancient Hindu Law of Least Effort, and Christ Consciousness. But regardless of your orientation to these belief systems, you can find powerful, personal evolution by awakening the Sacred Power of Acceptance in your life.

This moment is the magnificent culmination of all of your life choices; every experience that has woven itself in, around, and through you; and every one of the 31 million seconds that have ticked by in just this year alone! It couldn’t be any other way.
Accepting that you are a divine being who is sealed in this human body for the span of a lifetime and that you have made choices and decisions throughout your life from your highest level of consciousness at the time.Even though there are choices you may regret or torture yourself about, they are carved in stone and we must accept them, forgive ourselves, and make better choices in the future.
Accepting others for who they are – not as we wish they would be. Allowing people’s differences, quirks, unique vibrations to just be and not necessarily fit into our box of how the world is supposed to be. Allowing others to be as they are.When you awaken the Sacred Power of Acceptance, you finally recognize that wherever you are, every moment of the past is carved in stone and for you to evolve your life, improve your situation, or find deeper fulfillment you must own the present moment.

Self Love 💛 20 Minute Meditation for Better Self Esteem & Confidence
I know all the “peace” & “love” stuff I often talk about can sound so woo-woo… BUT isn’t love where it all begins?
From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the definition of self-love is: Love of self.
This is further explained with two key attributes of what self-love looks like, it is:
an appreciation of one’s own worth or virtue; proper regard for and attention to one’s own happiness or well-being.It’s that simple. Yet, with all this other stuff in our lives, it’s easy to push down appreciation of our own worth and ignore our own well-being. We care all guilty of becoming so busy that we forget to meditate, or we take care of someone else’s need before our own, or we break a promise, or we are late, or we find ourselves rushing. And in those moments of turbulence, our self love, the appreciation of our own worth, gets tested.
When we live in a mode of fight-or-flight existence, there is little room for self love. In fact, when we come from a place of fear or stress, we ask these types of questions:
Am I lovable?Do I need to change something about myself so people will love me?Does that person love me the way I love them?We could go on forever in this circular devolution of self-worth but when we look to our most genuine self that is whole and pure and perfect and abundant and infinite… we realize there is only love and it is ever expanding and ever available because WE ARE LOVE & WE ARE LOVABLE!!!
To inspire self love within you today, take a moment to reflect on these quotes. Really get a feel for what self love feels like, looks like, thinks like…. if you loved yourself, how would YOU feel?

Powerful stuff, right?? You may find value in returning to these again once you have meditated.
We can all relate to moments of feeling unworthy, less than, or times when we have questioned our self worth. Just remember that you are not alone & YOU ARE SO WORTHY OF LOVE!!! So today, this week, or this month, commit yourself to self love.
All love begins with self love, so as you begin to nurture and nourish yourself, your own mindset will get better, but you will see the world open up to you as well. Your self love daily practice can begin today with this easy guided meditation.

Best Failure MIND SHIFT – 2 Minute Motivation
Nobody wants to fail. If you gave me the choice, I wouldn’t choose to fail at something I truly cared about.
Although, with that being said, there is still extreme value in failing. It gives students, entrepreneurs, couples, all people the opportunity to make a mistake and LEARN from that mistake rather than beating themselves up.
Failure does not make you a failure. Let me repeat that, failure does not make YOU a failure. In fact, it proves you’re human, and like many have said before me, what really matters is how you RESPOND to failure.
For simplicity’s sake, let’s say there are two options you can take when you fail at something. The first option is being DEFEATED… you give up, you loathe yourself, you never want to try again because this one failure was so devastating to your ego.
Maybe it was that new e-commerce business you were trying to launch, YouTube channel, yoga studio, or even a marriage. In this hypothetical scenario (maybe not so hypothetical for some), lock yourself away, avoid everyone, and fall into a deep depression.
Okay, that might be extreme, but don’t worry, that’s only ONE WAY to respond to failure.
The other way you can respond to failure is to BE INSPIRED by it. Yes, it is possible to be inspired by your failures, faults, and losses. Your inspiration does not have to happen immediately, in fact it won’t. We all deserve a period to grieve, feel the pain, and then let go. The goal is not to get stuck in your grief, but to use the “fail” as a chance to pull back the bow, reflect, and launch into a brand new possibility.
Extraordinary people use failure as a catalyst to grow (like Abraham Lincoln!), and if you’re not failing sometimes, you might not be pushing yourself to become your best version. So this week, reflect on a recent failure… it can be giant or small… but none is insignificant!!! Ask yourself reflective questions about this failure. Here are some examples:
What is my most recent failure?How did it affect me or others?What feelings have come from this?What is the most likely reason I failed?What is the outcome I wanted?Do I still want this outcome?What are three things I’m going to do to begin again?Famous trailblazers, like Lincoln, had numerous opportunities to give up, do nothing, and sulk in his failures. But he didn’t.
Don’t let failure hold you back either. It doesn’t have to. And realizing that might be the greatest MIND SHIFT you ever have.

Enhance Your Confidence NOW with Divine Presence 20 Minute Guided Meditation
Why would you expect someone else to be accepting of you, if you don’t fully accept yourself?
We need to make a daily commitment to accept ourselves in every moment; to be kind to ourselves; to appreciate ourselves. That’s truly the only validation we need. And this begins with you truly understanding your voice.
When we think of our voice, we often view it as the words that come out of our mouth. But this is just the vibration of our vocal cords.
Your voice is much more expansive than simply words—it’s the energy you flow in every moment and the ripple of that energy. Your voice is your confidence.
We “speak” in verbal and nonverbal ways—from the choices we’ve made to the messages we send— to the divine purpose that holds our stars apart and our Universe together.
Some of us have dimmed our light over fear of being diminished by another or lack of confidence in who we really are.
Biting our tongues or walking on eggshells because we don’t have the confidence to risk being judged.
Some of us feel listened to – but don’t feel heard. That’s usually because we believe the other person isn’t being present while we are expressing ourselves.
So sometimes we just quit . . . we just shut down. No more! Shout your magnificence from every rooftop; to stop dimming your light and turn it up brighter; to say what’s on your mind; to do what feels true in the moment; to risk failure; to express yourself from your heart; and to let your passion flow.
You can express your voice, your confidence through your physical appearance; through your job or your career; through your hobbies, interests, and causes; through your writings, posts, creations, and performances; and through the daily energy you flow into the world.
Expressing yourself with confidence physically, emotionally, and verbally is a very important aspect of life.
Each of us desperately needs to be heard in some way. Many of us feel the need to compel, convince, persuade, or convert others. Some of us just want what’s inside of us to be witnessed by another.
We are beings of expression and knowing someone is “listening” helps validate that we have meaning in this life.

Make Your 30 Minute Commitment to Personal Growth & Self Improvement
Imagine that there is a sun in the center of your solar plexus. Your inner sun is always shining brightly but you have allowed a whole bunch of clouds to pass between the burning rays inside of you and the brilliant energy of transformation that is shining outside of you.
For passion to awaken and achievement of your goal to occur, those two lights must converge to become one.
What do the clouds in front of your sun look like?
Are they thin and wispy?
Or thick and heavy?
Are they dark or light?
Are they filled with rain or air?
Get clear on your clouds and begin to radiate the sun from your solar plexus to burn them away. Place your hand on your manipura, and go deeper into the visualization.
What are your clouds made of? Excuses? Laziness? Anxiety?
Memories of past failure? A limiting belief?
Or a sense of fear over making a shift?
What has been holding you back from stepping into your new beginning? Your new 30 minute commitment?
By drilling deep into the answers to these questions, you will start to transcend your blockages and prepare to make your new beginning with your 30 minute commitment.

Right? But, let’s go even deeper.
This next phase of walking the Divine Path of Inner Fire will further stoke the embers of your passion to start your 30 minute commitment, as we explore an ancient practice known as Awakening the Divine.
This teaching has its beginnings in the 7,000-year-old teachings of the ancient Indian text, the Rig Veda, yet it can be applied to your life right now.

Erase Anxiety Now – 5 Minute Guided Meditation
Meditating every day has taught me we are all the masters of each moment. And effortlessly weaving this practice into every fiber of my being has given me tools and techniques for better choosing my responses—living life with less stress and anxiety, greater clarity and focus, expanded compassion and empathy, deeper love and more frequent joy.
Meditation has also gifted me a viewpoint that is more receptive to other perspectives, which offers me increased possibilities in each moment. I believe that anyone who is willing to embrace meditation can access these tools as well.
I have personally witnessed the transformation of thousands of my students as they have moved from panic and anxiety to confidence and calm, from fear and anger to self-love and self-worth, from confusion to clarity, and from emptiness to deeper fulfillment. I have sat at the feet of the masters of meditation and Vedic wisdom and received some of the most powerful translations of these timeless teachings.
I have made my daily practice the cornerstones of my day, and with these free guided meditations you can too.
Students tell me they feel a natural unfolding of deeper compassion for those in their lives, a greater clarity about life in general, a more universal perspective that weaves through each thought, and a continuous shift in their perspective on existence and this life of ours. Meditation is a pattern interrupt. It allows us the chance to erase anxiety and begin again.
When we introduce a pattern interrupt into our flow of
thoughts, we can gently step aside from the uneasy memories of the past or the anxious thoughts of the future and truly ground ourselves back into the present moment.
Our bodymind moves beyond all that irritation, anger, discomfort, anxiety, and less-than or “it’s not fair” thinking. The constriction vanishes instantly, we erase anxiety.
From that place, we are primed for greater possibilities, novel solutions, and infinite potential. Whatever limiting belief was holding us back is momentarily suspended.
A classic, very public pattern interrupt happened during a long TV time-out in Super Bowl XXIII. There were three min-
utes left in the game as the 49ers—trailing the Bengals by three points—stood 93 yards away from the goal line.
Every player on the field was awash in constricting stress hormones . . . emotions of fear and overwhelm swirled in their heads . . . and the limiting belief that no one can advance the ball 93 yards and score in three minutes consumed each one of them—except for quarter-
back Joe Montana.
Montana famously pointed to the sidelines during the huddle and asked teammate Harris Barton, “Isn’t that John Candy?” So unexpected and powerful was this pattern interrupt that it slowed the intensity of the moment and took every player out of his head and back into the game.
When the TV time-out ended, Montana marched the fully destressified ’Niners down the field and into Super Bowl history.
Once meditation, or a pattern interrupts, becomes part of your daily routine, this state of restful awareness occurs naturally and you can erase anxiety even more effectively.
Calm and balance become the norm; and anxieties, anger, emotional turbulence, and knee-jerk reactions drift away as your physical body relaxes and your innate emotional intelligence gently returns to guide your choices.
So let’s erase anxiety right now with the guided meditation above, and let’s keep cultivating a daily meditation practice.

Here We Come 2021! New Year, New Beginnings, Big Changes Coming
As January unfolds, I’ll be leading an online, new year workshop starting on January 4th, Spiritual Healing 5-Week Virtual Masterclass!! I would love for you to join me!
So much has happened over the past 365 days – highs & lows, challenges & breakthroughs, movement & stagnation, sadness & celebration, beginnings & endings, and through it all – we’ve grown, we’ve blossomed, and bloomed.

Many times the days will go by, and suddenly it’s spring. Those personal agreements we made with ourselves will have drifted into the ether.
Why do we float away from the intentions that are so important to us? Back to our conditioned patterns; back into the habits that don’t serve us or our loved ones, our bosses, our partners. It’s just natural and human to revert to our conditioned stories and behaviors. But we can break out and change that now.
The key is putting our dreams out there and slowly, consistently growing into them throughout 2021.
Step by step, bean by bean, growing into our dreams. And when we find ourselves reverting to our old “norm,” don’t beat up yourself — just take a baby step back to your dream.
So, this year, let’s dream magnificent dreams. Let’s play big!! Let’s set heroic trajectories and remind ourselves each day that the journey of 1,000 miles is accomplished by placing one foot in front of the other… step by step… one day at a time. We have infinite possibilities.
Let’s start by setting our course for the new year – making a commitment to show up each day and be present. Meditate every morning so that the seed of each day starts with stillness and silence and unfolds with infinite possibilities.
Let’s lead with love, compassion, and forgiveness.
And know that every decision is a choice between a grievance and a miracle. And then let’s place one foot in front of the other and celebrate the baby steps knowing they are miraculous and will deliver us to where we want to be with grace and ease.

Setting Powerful Intentions to Manifest Your New Beginning 15-Minute Guided Meditation
This week’s guided meditation focuses on setting intentions for the new year, tomorrow, two years from now… whatever feels right to you.
A common misunderstanding regarding setting intentions is that the more targets we can aim at, the higher the likelihood that our arrow will hit the mark… but this couldn’t be further from the truth. The Divine Principle of Awareness teaches us to aim at one target at a time.
If we are looking for real transformation, we need to embrace the concept of single-pointedness when setting intentions. Set one intention at a time… plant one seed at a time.
If your seed is right about to nestle into the stillness of your heart and soul, and you interrupt that process by bringing in another seed, and then another, and then another, the stillness vanishes in the swirl of activity.
Your nourishing becomes diluted, the garden becomes crowded, and most likely, the seed will not grow. That is the power of single-pointed intention.
If we are truly going to manifest transformation in our life, we should focus on only one intention at a time.
One seed . . . one garden . . . one moment—all leading up to effortless growth.
That’s why patience is so critical to the process of manifesting. It takes time for that seed of intention to germinate, blossom and bloom.
Seeds take time to grow – and they require nourishment – and if your attention is off planting other seeds, then the original one you planted will wither from neglect, and your intention will not be able to flourish.
Remember: You and I are earthbound, time-bound personal expressions of the Divine—individual unfoldings of the magnificent, infinite Universe, which is eternal—never born and never died.
So, realistically, our most perfect intention should be to flow the Divine with every thought, breath, word, and action.
But being sealed in this human body for the span of a lifetime makes it more challenging, confusing, and complicated.
We get caught up in our humanness. We often think small, trying to make stuff happen in a given moment because we mistakenly believe it will bring us happiness or fulfillment.
We set our sights on finding the perfect partner when we don’t even love ourselves unconditionally.
We desire the wealth we observe around us, when we ourselves don’t fully practice abundance consciousness.
We try so hard to make other people shift their beliefs, when we aren’t fully conscious of our own.
The world around us is moving at light speed, and most of us are just trying to hold on, keep up, and do our best.
And this is why the Five Divine Principles have not been embraced more broadly in our world.
Most people are simply too distracted by life’s twists and turns to place their attention on what really matters to them.
Once you adopt these teachings as your framework, you begin to truly live every moment with deeper fulfillment. You begin to make conscious choices to help you get out of your own way, let go of self-doubt, release limiting beliefs, and allow your self-created barriers to fall away.
From that place of understanding, you can easily channel whatever we were meant to flow and manifest your new beginning.
It’s really that simple.

Let’s cut to the core right now and explore your current state of attention.
In the space below, write down the three biggest challenges, fears, or concerns that have been consuming your attention over the past few days… three places where you feel stuck the most. Next to each issue, write down what you perceive as the most likely outcome of each situation:

It all comes down to attention. Wherever your attention is, you’re giving power and energy—consciously or unconsciously—to the outcome you anticipate.
If you fear the outcome, it prevents your natural ability of intention to unfold. If you are working toward the outcome, you are in the process of manifesting the outcome. When we expand our thinking and allow more possibilities to enter into our awareness – even just a little bit – our Sacred Power of Attention will begin to provide solutions.
So now write down the same three biggest challenges, fears, or concerns that have been consuming your attention over the past few days.
Except this time, instead of writing down the most likely outcome, write down what you believe to be the best possible outcome—the one that would be a great solution to the challenge, transcend your fear, or ease your concerns.
An outcome that would replace any anxiety you have with relief, satisfaction, and happiness.

Using the Power of Attention is like shining a flashlight in the darkness. Wherever we point its beam instantly becomes the reality of the moment.
Do you notice the difference in how you feel when your attention is on the best possible outcome rather than a feared outcome?
The skeptic in you might say, “Well, of course I feel better when I think about the best thing that could happen.”
But that’s the whole purpose of this process, to help you realize that it’s always a choice of where we want to place our attention. Sometimes when we get so familiar with the possibility of a negative outcome, we start expecting it, believing that it’s the only outcome—and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
But outcomes are in the future, and the future is never carved in stone. At best it’s a guess of what we believe is likely to unfold.
Let’s do the exercise just one more time, but this time, next to your three biggest challenges, fears, or concerns that have been consuming your attention over the past few days, write down a third possible outcome.
Not your most likely outcome, or the best possible one, but an outcome that could unfold that you’d never thought of before.

Now you have three different outcomes for each pressing issue: the expected outcome, your best possible outcome, and your 3rd possible outcome.
As you reflect on each issue, or each area where you are feeling stuck, there even may be additional outcomes that have come to mind.
Now, place your hand on your heart, and for each issue, ask yourself, “Which outcome do I truly desire?” Not “Which one do I expect?” but “Which outcome does my heart truly long for?”
As the answers flow, write the desired outcomes below:

This is a pretty simple, yet fairly powerful process.
It can be intense to look at your life and start moving it in the direction of your dreams. But, where you once were stuck or resigned to a particular outcome – you now can see other possibilities.
Remember: we have very little control over the outcomes that unfold in our life. We can influence them, spark them, direct them – but in the end the Universe decides.
We do, however, have total control over our outlook.
And, what we have just done through this exercise is expand our outlook! This is hard work. But you are cultivating your awareness at a very high level and this is where intention comes into play.
