16162524 Evie's Knight  (The Knight #1) byKimberly KreyA steamy, yet clean Romance Novel. When Evie falls in love with Calvin Knight, their young, virtuous romance conjures a truly wicked spell.

Evie always thought her eighteenth year would be magical, but so far it's not what she hoped for. Her best friend has gone wild, her love life is void, and she misses her mom more than ever. But life for Evie is about to change. Calvin Knight, the object of her fascination, is about to fall madly in love with her. Just one problem: Their love conjures a murderous woman from beyond the grave who wants Evie dead. The same demon who has haunted the Knight men for over four generations. Soon Calvin is forced to make a choice: Set Evie free and hope to evade the wrath of The Raven- haired Ghost, or use his newly gifted strengths to fight against her. If he chooses to fight and wins, Calvin will free the Knight men of this demonic witch. If he loses, Evie will become her next victim.

REVEIW:

Kimberley Krey's novel, Evie's Knight was a really enjoyable read. Evie, the MC is a teenage girl, who falls in love with Calvin Knight. I found Evie a kind but strong character and myself engaging with her dramas throughout the story as she moves through the dramas of a teenage relationship.

Teamed with the emotional turmoil of the the romance between Evie and Calvin, is the underlying story of paranormal mystery.

Full of secrets which aren't disclosed until the end of the story, I am sure readers will enjoy becoming involved with Evie and her emotional turmoil, while discovering the darkness attached to Calvin's family.
Escapement (The Neumarian Chronicles #1) byCiara Knight

When my own erratic powers surface I’m captured and tried for treason. Slaves hate me, my mother wants me executed, and my only chance of survival rests in the hands of a young man, Ryder Arteres, whose sister I sentenced to death.
REVIEW:

This futuristic Steam Punk novel by Ciara Knight is a great read, full of interesting characters and action, airships and heros.

Princess Semara is mistreated by her evil mother, whipped and given more implants than she needs. Her mother, the queen rules the barren land and mistreats the people she rules just as badly. The Neumarian's fight the "Slags" for their freedom.

Ciara Knight has written a wonderfully colourful book, where readers will be swept into Semara's fight to survive and keep the Neumarian's she is found by, safe. Particularly one from legend named Ryder, whose sister she had put to death.

Ella needs to find her partner, uncover the identity of her savior, and find a way to stop the elves from invading again. With the world going to hell, what's a girl to do but grab her guns and knives and figure it all out, one way or another.REVIEW:  Ella, the MC in The Encounter, by Chrystalla Thoma, works for the Paranormal Bureau, which controls the veil protecting Earth from "The Shades" and other paranormal creatures on the side of evil.

Chrystalla Thoma is a talented writer and this short story is no exception to the other books I have read written by her. The Encounter is a very different approach to the paranormal and is a refreshing change to the norm.

Readers will be entranced by this fascinating world Thoma has created for Ella.

REVIEW:

Xan, is a Dragonslayer and Lois a reporter. When the two find themselves caught together after Xan annihilates a group of dragonkin, ge finds a need to protect her and takes her back to Carmine, where her resides on the 13th Floor.

The dragon Xan need to slay is the governor and once Lois believes  dragons exist and the governor is one, she will stop at nothing to help him in his task.

Christine Rains has written another capturing tale with the Dragonslayer, in her 13th Floor series and anyone who enjoys the paranormal world with all its various creatures, (good and evil) will enjoy this book and the others which support the complete story in the series, 13th Floor.

REVIEW:

Distraction by J.L. Campbell is a complicated story about the lives of three women, Justine Charles, Dianne Jones and Kyra Mills.

The three friends live dangerous lives, mixing their family life with a second secret existence of passion, decept and destruction.

Distraction is a look into how these three women cope with their guilt and passions in their day to day lives and I am sure this book by J.L. Campbell would appeal to many readers.

As a galaxy-wide war encroaches upon the desert planet, Byron’s ideal life is threatened and he’s caught between the Tgrens and the Cassans.

After enemy ships attack the desert planet, Byron discovers another battle within his own family. The declaration of war between all ten races triggers nightmares in his son, shaking Bassan to the core and threatening to destroy the boy’s mind.

Meanwhile the ancient alien ship is transmitting a code that might signal the end of all life in the galaxy. And the mysterious probe that almost destroyed Tgren twenty years ago could be on its way back. As his world begins to crumble, Byron suspects a connection. The storm is about to break, and Byron is caught in the middle…

REVIEW:

CassaStorm, the third book in Alex Cavanaugh's space opera series, is once again a winning story.

Set further into Bassa's life, readers experience his adult family life through the eyes of his son, Byron.

Tormented by racist taunts from Tgren and the Cassan's, Byron also finds himself caught up in a race to save all the worlds from anhiliation by the ancient alien probe.

The emotional mix of feelings of father and son relationships is found in this sci-fi tale which delves into the feelings of pride, love and expectations of off spring.

CassaStorm compliments the first two books by Alex J Cavanaugh, continuing the tale of his hero, Bassa. Cavanaugh has once again written an enjoyable story and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book to any sci-fi fans looking for an entertaining read.

Cursed (The Devil's Roses #1) 13517067 byTara Brown
Sometimes the scariest things in life aren’t the Vampires and the Werewolves. Since the dawn of time there have been things God doesn’t want to know about. Which is why he created the Devil's Roses.
There is a place between worlds where our souls take a moment, before they go to Heaven. It is a quiet place where everything feels as if it has paused.
It is here that Aimee James first meets him.
He is standing over her dead body.
He is more beautiful than anything she has ever seen.
Waking in the hospital after the first attempt is made on her life, Aimee discovers the missing pieces of her memory may have something to do with the one thing she does remember. A man.
Not just any man, but a beautiful man who has enchanted her from her dreams. No one else saw him or recalls him, but Aimee isn't convinced that he doesn't exist.
From the moment she wakes, she is thrust upon a journey that will contradict everything she holds true in the world and reveal secrets about her mother's untimely death.
In the end Aimee must choose between life and love, as death is forced upon her once again.
REVIEW:
Aimee, the MC in Tara Brown's book the Cursed, wakes in the hospital and finds she has shared a date rape drug with her friend, who doesn't survive.

This intense story is complicated, mixing death, demons, immortals and life in between the two realms of Heaven and Earth.

I was caught up in this story, but am still undecided if the whole storyline revolves while Aimee is under the influence of the drug or whether the events that take place are meant to be real.

Whichever you decide, I am sure any reader will enjoy being swept into this intense, romantic paranormal fantasy.
Coffee and Cockpits byJade Hart   17156203 “If I had to die, I wanted it to be doing something I loved, with a man who wanted to fly me to the moon.”
By day, Nina Poppins is a professional flight attendant, who lives to travel, and isn’t afraid to chase her dreams. By night, she’s an award winning salsa dancer who wears sexy corsets and garter belts. She wants to keep her two lives separate, but Liam Mikin knows her secrets.

Liam Mikin is a co-pilot used to getting any air-hostess he wants with one blazing look of his blue eyes. And he wants Nina. But Nina is adamant she won’t end up as another notch on a pilot’s wingtip.

However, fate intervenes when their airplane malfunctions on a routine flight to Samoa, stranding all the crew on the Pacific island. Liam has his opportunity to prove to Nina he’s not what she thinks, but he wasn’t counting on competition in the form of an engineer. Nikolai Rivers dances as well as Nina and is linked to Liam’s past. As Nikolai fights for Nina’s affections, Liam is forced to face what happened all those years ago.

Being island-wrecked in a five star hotel is anything but relaxing. Fraught with male egos, dancing, and secrets, both Nina and Liam aren’t ready for what fate has in store.REVIEW:

Nina Poppins has a secret she keeps from her new co-workers, she has her pilots license and is only working in her new profession as an air hostess to gather enough money to get her commercial pilot license. She has dreams of piloting a jumbo for a top airline.

During her hostess training course, she made friends with Joselyn and now they are part of a cabin crew together.

Nina and Joslyn take their first flight and in their lives are turned upside down in a twist you would never guess.

Jade Hart has written an interesting novel about the life of an hostess with ambition and keeps her readers wondering all the way through.

As I write this review,  I am forcing myself not do divulge any spoilers, so before I do, I will just say that Coffee and Cockpits is a well written book which will engage, entertain and keep readers' guessing right up to the end.

  REVIEW:

This story by J.D. Stoube centers around a girl named Savannah, who lives with her foster parent, Maye and her foster brother, Ash.

When she delves into the lives of her dead parents, she finds that she comes from a powerful family of witches. Maye arranges for her to visit her parents abandoned home and during the visit Savannah finds a secure box, which she happens to open, releasing a powerful demonic force and this leads to the death of many of the towns people.

Secrets about the people of the town are learned by Savannah, who tries to battle the demon force she has unleashed.

Caged in Darkness is quite suitable for young adult readers who enjoy stories about witches, teenage romance and the battles between good and evil.
18306582 Crimson Night (Night #1) byMarie HallWelcome to Carnivale Diabolique ― or what I affectionately like to call the circus of the damned.
My name is Pandora, and though my face might not seem familiar to you, you do know me. I'm a Nephilim. What does that mean? I'm half demon, what's my other name? Lust. I'm the dark craving that drives you mad, makes you want, makes you reckless and stupid. I'm the drug you'll do anything to get your hands on. But I'm not all bad. I fight for light, for goodness and truth. I love my job, killing vampires and werewolves, zombies, and freaks... it's what makes me happy.

But people are starting to disappear and lately I've felt a dark presence lurking around me. I think it might be a death priest, that's not good. There isn't much a demon like me fears, but I fear them. This should have been easy, me killing the fanged freaks, getting rid of my pesky priest problem, but I'm about to be betrayed by the one person I thought I could trust with my life and before the night is through I'll be covered in crimson...

REVIEW:

I really enjoyed this fantasy by Marie Hall, it is the story of a group of carnies who are not what they seem.

Dora (Pandora), the MC is part demon as are the other carnies she resides with. All preying on the visitors to the carnival, taking the essence attracted to whichever demon they stem from, Lust, sex and venegence.

The supporting character, Luc controls them all, but they aren't all dark and dangerous, they have a mission for a higher power - to annihilate the vampires preying on the human population.

This very unusual story by Marie Hall is something very different and if you like paranormal fantasy, it has it all. Suitable for the mature reader, who likes a little sexual fantasy thrown in, this book has it all.

Discover the heartbreaking betrayals, fascinating magic and fated love of Cornerstone.

REVIEW:

Although the image on the cover of this book looks very familiar, this story by Kelly Walker is quite unique.

Emariya, leaves her kingdom to travel across the desert, intent on marrying a prince she has never met, to save her father who she hasn't seen since her childhood when he ventured to visit an enemy kingdom.

With the kingdoms rallying together to fight a common enemy, Emariya believes this to be the only way to save her father and her kingdom, so with her brothers blessing, she ventures forth with her childhood friend, a stable boy who loves her and would do anything to protect her.

This story is full of twists in the plot which create an interesting story. The characters are strong and with the adventures the convoy face along their journey, readers will feel connected to Emariya, her passion to help not only her father, but the fate of her kingdom and her own life.
21911337 Crane (The Legends Saga #1) byStacey Rourke The Horseman is unending, his presence shan’t lessen.
If you break the curse,
you become the legend.

Washington Irving and Rip Van Winkle had no choice but to cover up the deadly truth behind Ichabod Crane’s disappearance. Centuries later, a Crane returns to Sleepy Hollow awakening macabre secrets once believed to be buried deep.

What if the monster that spawned the legend lived within you?

Now, Ireland Crane, reeling from a break-up and seeking a fresh start, must rely on the newly awakened Rip Van Winkle to discover the key to channeling the darkness swirling within her. Bodies are piling high and Ireland is the only one that can save Sleepy Hollow by embracing her own damning curse.

But is anyone truly safe when the Horseman rides?

REVIEW:

Being honest when I began reading Crane, by Stacey Rourke my thoughts were - Ah, just another Sleepy Hollow remake, but I persevered and continued reading and was pleasantly surprised.

This edition blends the historic tale with modern day life. Ireland Crane, the MC moves to the township from Manhatton after she splits from her ex-boyfriend/ fiance. She starts a new job at the local high school as a guidance councilor, which seems to me a little odd as her character is quite "out there" - she sports a short, red bob and has a liking for tattoos.

Mixed with the Headless Horseman, a character sent to help from the past, the spirit of Ichabod Crane and the townsfolk being beheaded, this story is quite intriguing and will capture any readers' interest.

Become (Desolation #1) 12567090 byAli CrossSixteen-year old Desolation Black wants nothing more than to stay in Hell where it’s cold and lonely and totally predictable. Instead, she’s sent back to Earth where she must face the evil she despises and the good she always feared.
When Desi is forced to embrace her inner demon, she assumes her choice has been made—that she has no hope of being anything other than what her father, Lucifer, has created her to be. What she doesn’t count on, is finding a reason to change—something she’s never had before—a friend.REVIEW: Become, by Ali Cross is the first book in the Desolation series, in which good and bad continue the struggle. Desolation the MC in this fantasy is both demon and angel and struggles with her own battle between the two.Her father, Loki, the Lord of Darkness, sends her to Earth to turn lost souls towards his domain, but the goodness in Desolation prevails as she is tormented by her own demons and a lost past she has forgotten. The push by Loki's forces to turn Desolation towards darkness will bring power to his evil kingdom, but Desolation finds friendship and love while battling to find her own pathway to her future. Ali Cross has written a very entertaining story in which the ancient gods play a major part in the future of not only Desolation, but that of mankind. Bound(The Nevermore Trilogy #2) byShannon Mayer   18068616 They were promised weight loss, the cure for Cancer, Parkinson’s Disease and infertility; they were promised hope.

The side effects were anything but hopeful.

Mara faces seemingly insurmountable obstacles and adversities as she works feverishly to free Sebastian from the holds which bind him. Her refusal to abandon him, and his refusal to let her slip away, keep them fighting to be reunited. Fears escalate and dangers destroy their beliefs, but they cling to their love and find strength in each other even when separated. Mara and Sebastian manage to face each act of violence, each tragedy, and terrifying sight with a strength which won’t bend to any confrontation.

REVIEW:

Although I have not read book one in this series, I found Bound an intriguing story and after finishing will look into purchasing book two to read and learn how Sebastian and Mara become entangled in the predicament they are subjected to in Book One.

Shannon Mayer has taken the Zombie theme and made her own story, using 'love' to overcome all things.

The love the two MC's, Mara and Sebastian share, keeps their existence intact as the rest of the world falls apart from the result of the Nevermore drug.

A simple, interesting read and one I would recommend to all zombie enthusiasts out there in the world.

REVIEW:

The Backworlds, by M. Pax is the first book in this series. Craze the MC is kicked out of his home by his own father, who takes a new wife. The wife being Craze's girlfriend...

To make Craze's existence more complicated, he is then further back stabbed by his father and banished from his home world as a criminal to venture forth deeper into the back worlds, where his new life begins.

Craze is a delightful mix of simplicity and strength, who some how escapes his misfortunes to gain profit.

This sci-fi adventure by M. Pax is a delightful read, full of interesting characters, humour and adventure mixed with strange characters and planets to tempt the readers imagination.

M. Pax is a talented sci-fi writer and I am sure readers will enjoy this series.

Her friends and family think she's a crazy because of it all. Yet she carries the mark of the condemned, seared into the back of her neck, and hides it and herself away from the world.
But when two men she can't ignore enter her life everything changes, including the nightmares. The two of them couldn't be more different. She will do anything to be with one of them. Even tell him the truth about angels, why she never sleeps, and the scar on the back of her neck. But one of the two has set events into motion what will pull her toward her own judgment and turn her into the object of her greatest fear.

REVIEW:

This deep, twisted story by Keary Taylor is about a girl named Jessica. Her life is quiet and unremarkable, but when she sleeps she seems to live a second life, one of torment, where she stand before the Council of Angels as one of the condemned and experiences their last trial of life. As a different person each time, she begins to wonder what is real and what is not.

Her life brightens when she meets Alex, but then Cole moves into the house next door and she becomes entranced with his darkness.

Torn between the two, she finds her dreams may be more than what they seem and her torments of the night might be real.

Branded is a very different story about the battle of good and evil, entwined with the biblical tale of the damned and I would like to congratulate Keary Taylor on her accomplishment.
Blood and Guitars (Blood And Guitars #1) 12406508 byHeather Jensen When Aurora meets Trey, a famous singer and musician, she’s only hoping to get her fill of human blood for the week. The last thing Aurora expects is for Trey to make her feel alive for the first time since she was, well, alive. It begins with a casual painting lesson at her art studio, The Waking Moon, and quickly turns into a forbidden romance. Aurora is forced to hide her true identity from Trey, while keeping her relationship with the human a secret from other vampires in her Brood. Trey’s band is recording a new album and with Aurora as his muse, Trey is writing songs like never before. After being hired by their record label to paint the cover of the new album, Aurora has a legitimate reason for spending so much time with Trey and his band mates. Aurora can’t deny the unexpected connection she has with Trey, which is fueled by glimpses into his emotions every time they share a kiss. Caught between two worlds, Aurora must attend celebrity award shows and vampire rituals, find time to feed, and protect Trey from the dangers of the night, all while preserving her secrets.

REVIEW:

Blood and Guitars, by Heather Jensen is an interesting vampire novel set in Florida and centers around a female vampire named Aurora Evins, who is an artist and owns her own art gallery.

She meets up with a stranger in a small music bar, named Carlie's, at the time she doesn't realize he is the lead singer of her favourite band, Catalyst.

Trey Decker, keeping his identity a secret suffers from writers block needs a change in his life. When he meets Aurora, he is instantly attracted and discovers she is the woman of his dreams. (literally).

Aurora's life is anything but complicated in their worlds and life becomes difficult for them both, when their relationship becomes serious.

With a modern twist on the vampire tale, this story by Heather Jensen, is an enjoyable read with lots of hidden mystery and romance. Containing a few 'bad guys' and some tense moments, where the couple have their fate in the hands of jealous Catalyst fans and vampires.

If you are a vampire fan, Blood and Guitars is well worth the read.

Beyond Earth (Book #1) 13607345 byArlene Lagos  Hidden in the fabric of our own galaxy are five planets, anchored to Earth and thriving with life. Each one unlocks a secret to many destinies that bring seven brave warriors together to fight the ultimate evil set to destroy their existence.

Life for Adaminia was ordinary…and she hated ordinary. She always felt she was meant to do more. That opportunity presents itself when she follows a strange sound, gets sucked up into a wind tunnel, and spit out onto a hidden planet. Here she meets Joanie who reveals to her the truth about her real parents, the five hidden planets anchored to Earth, the murdered leaders, the missing heirs, and the role she will play in saving all mankind from extinction.

REVIEW:

Although Beyond Earth has an interesting storyline, I found this book by Arlene Lagos difficult to read. The Kindle formatting is poor, with sentences breaking short throughout the book.

It is a simple story about a girl named Adriaminia, who has been hidden on Earth for her own protection. When her foster parents are killed in a care accident she begins to learn the truth. Unbeknown to her, she is a vital part in the destiny of seven warriors to save mankind and five other planets anchored to Earth.

Beyond Earth is written for a young audience and is quite appealing.
Beyond Planets (Book, #2) 18619467 byArlene LagosAs the brave warriors continue their search for the heir to the throne of Ardor, a few become infected by the darkness and they begin to battle each other. They question not only their journey, but also where each person’s loyalties lie. With growing tensions and mounting questions, they have to cure the planet, crown the king and fight off the darkness before they are consumed by it.
 REVIEW:

Beyond Planets is the second book in this series by Arlene Lagos and continues the story where the first book finishes.

The warriors take refuge in a monastery, but the battle they have undertaken to save the five planets, still continues.

Adraminia wakes from a deep sleep, to find herself pregnant and being held prisoner by The Guardian, the possible father of her unborn child??

This installment seems a little disjointed and the story is complicated. Once again the formatting needs work.

Today, is the first day of the A to Z Challenge for 2015, you will find my post below. This year I am paying back a lot of author's who have kept me entertained for a year reading their new releases, by posting my very late reviews. I will also post these reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Smashwords etc.
So, this last month I have been busy writing my posts to be ready for the Challenge and haven't paid much attention to completing Forces of Mist.
I am in a dilemma about how to end the book. Should I kill off both male characters, or just one? Should I kill all the aliens by accident with the 'weapon,' or only the ones I want to? Maybe, I should kill everyone? Any suggestions, what do you think would be a good ending?

The Alpha (The 13th Floor) 20336804 byChristine Rains One run in the woods wouldn't matter, or so thinks werewolf Stefanie Porter. Being cooped up in her apartment for months has messed up her instincts, because her former pack almost catches her until a mysterious lone wolf jumps in to help Stefanie escape.
The cruel Alpha Wyatt not only stole her pack but refuses to give Stefanie her freedom. She can't hide in her apartment any longer or it will drive her crazy. She puts her trust in the lone wolf who can teach her some of his unusual urban survival tricks. James Roberts might be a bit geeky, but he's smart and looks hot when the argyle sweater comes off. His ridiculous ambition to become a superhero might be admirable if Wyatt couldn't rip him limb from limb.

With the pack scouring the city for her, Stefanie must convince James to teach her and control her own Alpha nature, or fight not only for her life, but his as well.REVIEW:
This second book in Cristine Rains' 13th Floor Series, tells the story of Stephanie, a werewolf, who is running from her pack after a failed leadership challenge.

Running in desperation to escape, she senses a lone wolf, whose identity eludes her. He leads her through the bushland and helps her to fight off her pursuers, then shows her to safety.

This fast paced book about pack hierarchy and the power struggle of the Alphas' brings the next characters of the 13th Floor series.

Christine Rains is a talented writer and The Alpha is another story suitable to readers who enjoy their paranormal literature. Full of action and Stephanie's struggle to regain leadership of her pack, allows readers to connect with her plight and to be engaged in her battle. The Alpha, is a very well written story which young adult readers and adults would enjoy.

The Angel Genome 12886277 byChrystalla Thoma
What if the legends of angels arose from an extinct human branch? Lucia doesn’t believe in angels — but she might believe in a little boy cloned from a forgotten race.
"The Angel Genome" is a complete short story excerpted from the anthology EXTINCT DOESN'T MEAN FOREVER.
REVIEW:

Lucy's ex-husband, Freddy, calls her with one more request - to visit the Genome Research Center to sign papers...

She finds her ex-husband has used her donated eggs to clone an Angel and a small, unusual boy named Zeph is waiting to meet her. Zeph has unique qualities and as soon as she meets him he identifies her as his mother.

This short tale by Chrystall Thoma left me wanting more. I was intrigued by the storyline, but just as the intrigue begins, the story ends and I found myself wanting more and I found myself feeling disappointed by the sudden end.
Ancient Blood (A Novel of the Hegemony) 20362946 byBrian McKinley, Ambrosia Arts (Editor) Ancient blood
A Novel of the Hegemony

AN IMMORTAL LOVE
Avery Doyle loves vampires; he’s read every novel, seen all the movies, and researched the folklore. When his first one-night-stand, Caroline, turns out to be a true vampire on the run, he jumps at the chance to leave his ordinary life and join her as a “child of the night.”

The honeymoon ends, however, when Caroline’s brutal Creator Sebastian enslaves them on his island estate and Avery must confront the dehumanizing reality behind his dreams.

AN IMMORTAL ARISTOCRACY
In order to survive, Caroline and Avery take their place as servants in Sebastian’s household during a gathering of the most powerful vampires on Earth, the Hegemony, and soon find themselves involved in the myriad intrigues and deceptions that form the night-to-night existence of The Order.

A society of wealth, power, and inhuman decadence whose existence is protected by human complicity and disbelief, The Order is the immortal aristocracy hidden behind the giant corporations and political leaders of the world.

IN MORTAL DANGER
Sebastian, however, has a plan that will change The Order forever and shatter human civilization. To avoid this terrible fate, Avery and Caroline will not only have to defy the most powerful creatures on Earth, but also confront the darkest aspects of themselves. For in the world of the Hegemony, even victory may cost them their souls…

REVIEW:

Avery, is totally into vampires! On a one night stand he meets Caroline, who he is enthralled to learn is a true life vampire, who is on the run from her creator, Sebastian.

Caroline turns Avery and he joins her in her flight from Sebastian. Unfortunately their travels are short lived when Sebastian captures them and detains them both on his remote island.

To survive they become his slaves and are forced to play a game of life and death with members of the vampire elite.

Eventually, Caroline and Avery join forces with another on the island to  bring down Sebastian, his empire and the hierarchy vampire visiting the island.

This vampire tale by Brian P. McKinlay is quite unique, blood thirsty and brutal and Avery finds himself question his decision to become a vampire. Readers will be drawn into the fierce forces of the characters and Avery and Caroline's plight to survive.

13616077 Junked byBoyd Brent   I'm Penny. I'm 17-years-old. And for the first time in my life I've met a guy who gets me. I mean really gets me. Sees through me like I'm a pane of cracked glass. And believe me, from the outside looking in, my pane is head-on-collision cracked. His name is Red. I've only just found him. And already some preternatural bitch wants him dead. No. She's not a vampire. My life is nothing if not original. Come closer, I'm not safe anywhere and I need to whisper ... apart from the book's opening pages, this is the only time I get to speak to you directly ... and I'm terrified that the vibe I'm giving off is too sane ... you see, that preternatural bitch I just mentioned has creatures everywhere ... listening. If they discover I haven't fallen out of a crazy tree and hit every branch on the way down, they're going to whisper junk into my head and change me forever. If that happens, who's going to watch Red's back? Look, wherever you are right now on this totally junked planet ... find a way to enter my world and watch my back ... who knows, if you close your eyes tight and SCREAM at your Kindle I might hear you ... then open one eye ... peer around ... the way people are looking at you? ... that's how they look at me all the time ...

MY TEASER:

“If worst comes to worst, I’m going to call the police,” said Catherine, feeling for her mobile in her pocket. “You heard what Erin told us. Any sign of the law and there could be a blood- bath. That woman is capable of taking on a frickin army. The only person who might … just might be able to stop her is Penn,” said Peter. “And only if she makes it to Stonehenge with the tambourine by sun up tomorrow,” added Catherine.

A TO Z CHALLENGE THEME REVEAL

My theme for the 2015 A to Z Challenge, is really no big secret, seeing on the list, after my blog's name, I have labeled my challenge entry as "BO", meaning "Books!"
I have chosen to post the many book reviews I owe to the authors of the books I have read over the past year.
Some days I may have two or three or even four, and then on others there maybe just be one, but I intend to wipe my list clean.

Wish me luck!!!
All reviews will be posted on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Goodreads. If you happen to be an author whose book is posted during the challenge you can expect to find your reveiw  posted on the above platforms as soon as I am able to do so. It may not be straight away, but I do promise it will be done.
I have once again offered my services to the one and only Jeremy Hawkins, as his minion for the challenge and am teaming up this year with Robyn, from Life by Chocolate. Jeremy is designing one of his amazing badges this week, to add to our sites, so if your name is on the A-Z Challenge list, be prepared to have a friendly minion or two drop by and check on you.

Cheers! And all the best for the Challenge!
