Why it can be hard to learn to self-nurture for some.

I finished publishing Witness to the Moon. Now I’m beginning to work on the paperback. The only real time on that part will come with Amazon’s conversion process. It can take a few hours. Final stages of Witness before publication

Super behind on the blogging, I know. Been putting it off since I haven’t really wanted to discuss the book I’m writing, and haven’t had free time outside of editing.

The below count will be from starting and ending today, with a gap between what I did last week. I’m already around 59 K words. So this book will obviously be going much longer before I even hit the editing stage.

I forgot to blog yesterday. My bad. My editor sent me the finished file for Witness to the Moon. So today I’m going to begin working on it and going through her notes and edits.

Then I can begin working on the file to publish it, get it out, work on the paperback, get that out, and begin on the next book! lol Which will be Claiming the Enchantress. Working on Mr. Finkle’s Grave Error

Today I’ll be getting to Mr. Finkle’s Grave Error. Ran out of time to work yesterday. Had to give one of the dogs a haircut so I knew I had to get to that and couldn’t work late. Hoping tomorrow or Wednesday to finally start inputting changes into Claiming the Enchantress.

So I sent off Witness to the Moon to my editor on Friday as planned. I was going to input edits into Claiming the Enchantress today, then decided to do some “administrative” work like return some messages and the like. Well, now I’m thinking it may end up being the entire week I do so.

Finishing up Witness to the Moon this week

So not really going to write much on this blog post. By Friday I plan to send off Witness to the Moon to my editor. Then I can get started on Claiming the Enchantress.

Insane day

From the moment I got out of bed my dogs have been nutcases. No kidding. I sit down and get up ten minutes later. I sit down. Then get up fifteen minutes later. It was a constant this morning. No real reason for it, either.

My Doberman was walking around whining this afternoon while I folded laundry. She likes to if I lock her out of my room for a moment, or (gasp!) while I use the bathroom and shut the door without her help, lol. But today, she was actually walking around whining. Nothing...

Nearly at the halfway mark

Today was a really good day worth of writing. I needed to pull myself away because I was very deep into the story. It’s funny because when I’m writing, I will feel sometimes that I’m literally writing nothing good. It’ll be this oddness where I’m thinking, ugh, I’m writing terrible, it’s so bland.

I really need coffee

I’m low on coffee and can’t get any until next month. So I’ve been only having a morning cup and lemme tell ya. I’ve noticed a difference. It’s 2 pm and I’m tiiiirrreeddddd, lol. Been getting my daily workout in again, waking early, so by noon, I need a little boost in energy. Coffee works so that I can still fall asleep at 9:30 pm when I go to bed.

Also I’ve been dealing with Mila having an ear ache so the past few nights she wakes and doesn’t sleep through the night. Which means I don’t g...
