Under Empty Stars – Chapter Two

Goes with Chapter One. As stated, I’m sharing two for my mistake.

Stone twitched. The moment was gone and he said to Lee, “Tell me where he went. Then you leave.”

For the strangest reason Ellie cut in, “You can’t!” After all this, he’d let him go?

“I will,” Stone confirmed.

“Stone—” Ellie began. He couldn’t!

“Don’t,” Jack cut her off. Still holding her arm securely. Too securely. She frowned and shot him daggers. Then proceeded to try to pry off even one finger from her arm with a grumble....

Under Empty Stars – Chapter One

I can’t believe I never posted this!

Bad Kim. I’m so glad that I’m updating all these books pages because one – I never would’ve seen that I didn’t post this. Two – many of these pages look a mess. Not professional.

If there was always one thing that has been important to me – it’s been to put in my best effort and act as a professional. To have the same quality of work. Just because a person works at home, just because someone is in business for themselves, it doesn’t give license...

Sitting behind closed curtains

I actually am, lol. It’s so freakin sunny today and right now my furniture faces the window so the sun is RIGHT in my face. I just shut the curtain. Too bright. I love it though. So happy to see bright blue skies.

My keyboard play has migrated to stealing my brother’s keyboard and trying that one out. He doesn’t use it, don’t look at me like that. : p My right as a lil sister to steal. I cleaned it and it’s all shiny and pretty too. Who knew it was so pretty?! Anyway, I looked it up online...

Editing with a pretty view

[image error]Jan 2020 snow – about 4 inches when I woke this morning. Washington State.

This scene makes me laugh. No matter if Lycaen or not, a girl still has to go to the bathroom, and she has to bend down to do it. lol This is from the book I’m currently working on. Law of the Beast.

Then while her bare rear end was practically sitting on the cold forest floor, he had the audacity to have a chat with her. Kylarra leapt up, hating the men for their male anatomy and them not understanding how it felt to...

In The Library – Opening scene

Faint, it came. Nothing more than a whisper. Nothing more than the barest of fomps. Opal turned toward it, allowing it to guide her through the deep inky chill. No time existed. No noise. Nothing at all.

She waited.

Once more it came. Not as faint as it’d been. Fomp. A thud without echo. Not as gentle as before, stronger. Opal took a step, but stopped. For a long moment she was concerned she stepped the wrong way. Wasn’t sure whether or not she’d even heard it.

Her nose tickled with the...

Wanted to honor this day

As rightly I should, and rarely do. I do self-promo myself, I talk about my books,b it’s usually done from a mild place. A humble place. I very rarely ever outright brag, or have it come from a look at me! place. Dunno. It’s just me. Maybe most writers are that way. We just quietly work, do our thing.

In the beginning when we don’t have as many books, or years published, yeah you’re gonna see a lot. Experience tempers it. That super duper excitement.

Still, I thought I would mention this. I...

Been forgetting to mention this

So I thought I would take a quick moment to. I’d posted about this recently in this post – https://kimberlysueiverson.com/2019/12/11/just-sent-off-in-the-library-to-editor/ – and I wanted to let you guys know that Holly Lisle has opened the doors to her course, How to Write a Novel, and they are permanently open. If you have signed up for the release updates you’ll find out that she has a lot of fun things going on right now if you purchase the course by the end of this month. I’m not gonna...

Just sent off In The Library to editor

Sent off In The Library to my editor. Still gotta get the page up for it. Amuses me that I’ve written the entire book, edited it, and still haven’t even gotten the page up for it. Normally I would’ve. Too much I’m working on so I purposely deactivated all my socials. Just one less THING to deal with for now.

This is a novelette seeing that it is clocking in just over 10K words.

I also wanted to let you know about a great class opening soon for anyone who is interested in writing a novel....
