Mitosis has been released on paperback
Yesterday I received the proof for Mitosis. Had to fix some small font issues in the formatting, but other than that, all was good to go so I set it up for sale.
So now the paperback and the ebook are available.

Newsletter quick note
If you’re subscribed, or want to be read this. Coming January 2020 I may most likely be starting up my newsletter again. It’ll be mostly a digest of what you may have missed in the past month. Once a month at most I predict. I still promise not to fill your inbox with noise. Blog posts still linked at the bottom too. That way it’s not as much work for me, but you get a notice of all the book information you may have missed throughout the past month prior.
Please note that if you are signed...

Mitosis – Chapter One
Where the hell am I? What happened?
Cody Morgan found herself on a sandy beach. Her jeans were soaked through. Sand covered the darkened fabric as well as her t-shirt. The cold wind whipped her hair about. She peered over her shoulder, tugged the shirt, and noticed patches of the fabric were gone. Around the missing pieces, the cotton was singed. Her skin shone bright pink through the patches.
Attempting to remember all that happened in the past few hours, or hell, days if she was lucky, she...

Few quick updates
Just wanted to let you know that I’m in the process of publishing Mitosis. And formatting the paperback so I can get to work on that next.
I’ll begin work on Law of the Beast next. Already have the editing done on the paper manuscript so at this point it will be about inputting the changes from paper to digital. Probably next week that happens.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving for those in the US.

Do you have a recurring nightmare?
I was talking with someone about nightmares. It was spurred by a meme I’d seen in a Stephen King group I’m in on Facebook. Since they were the last one I texted that night, I sent it to them and said to look at my last text. And no, sorry, you’re not gonna get what it was, haha.
We got to talking about the [horror] movies we used to watch as a child, then we got to talking about the nightmares we used to have. Then that led to recurring dreams that were frightening.
Do you have one of those...

Sunday ramble – Oddly hard to get back into blogging
In the back of my mind I’m all, I want to get back into blogging. I want to share thoughts, chit chat, journal, share recipes, chat about books.
Then on the other side the critic gets in my head. Nobody wants to hear your thoughts, nobody cares, nobody reads, nobody responds, nobody this and nobody that. Nobody wants personal on a business/writing site (that’s not how you do it!) You ARE a nobody. lol I’m super insecure about that sort of thing. My ego can take a hit from a lot of those who...

One drop
I did this interesting little story as a creative writing exercise last year (2018). The premise was simple – grab a random book. Turn to a random page. Read a random sentence. Now turn it into a story. Don’t think, just write the sentence (or not) and the continue it to a story. Then end. With this one, I used one drop. Found this in some papers I was going through to put away so though I’d share here. This is first draft, unedited. If you wish to share, please just share this post.

Transactional relationship
Major disclaimer. I am not a doctor, I don’t claim to be one. I don’t claim to be an expert. Everything expressed anywhere on this blog (site, really) is truly only factual when it comes to my books, but even that shifts with time as some books get edited, then those “facts,” can become opinions on my own work. Technically. So these are strictly my views, opinions, and I don’t demand anyone to take them on, or anything. This is just another opinion, stated in my own way. As my blogs always ar...

History – real or made up to suit an agenda
ETA – before publication – I was going to edit this to start with book based talk, but decided to leave it as is.
Do we really know what our history is? Do we really know if it’s serving an agenda of the ones in control and who own these states, countries, planet even? How do we know what truly is fact and not, when a history book has to be edited by someone and could so easily be altered. A term paper must pass through eyes with corrective pens. Editing a book is easy. Burning a few pages practically effortless.
This e...

My writing process
I thought I had this somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it. Soooo I shall write it down here.
HOW LONG DO YOU WRITE?One hour per day, Monday through Friday on average. This is often wondered simply for the amount of numbers I do daily. There are even some folks who have seen my numbers and the mention that I only do about an hour a day and think I should do more. But an hour is me stretching out as much free time to write as I can so it’s not as if I’m purposely slacking. I’m doing as much as I can. I’v...
