Nearly at the halfway mark

Today was a really good day worth of writing. I needed to pull myself away because I was very deep into the story. It’s funny because when I’m writing, I will feel sometimes that I’m literally writing nothing good. It’ll be this oddness where I’m thinking, ugh, I’m writing terrible, it’s so bland.

But then in edits, after the book has sat on the shelf a minute, then I pull it out and give it a read, it’s a different story. Then I’m going, “woah, I wrote this?” That’s why I’ve said plenty of...
