Sweet Surrendering!!!!!!

I think this calls for excited minions...
SWEET SURRENDERING IS LIVE ON AMAZON, ITUNES AND KOBO!!! (boo on you, Barnes and Noble.)
Here's the ablicious cover and synopsis again...
She's his boss. He doesn't care. This office isn't big enough for the two of them...When Rory Clarke ends up hiring the guy she spent one steamy night with to be her administrative assistant, she's determined to keep things professional. Lucas Blaine has other plans for her. He wants Rory, and it's hard to resist his stunning blue eyes, chin dimple and the way he fills out a suit. Everywhere she looks, there he is, giving her a panty-melting smile and pulling her away for the most amazing (and satisfying) sex she's ever had in her life. What starts off as one sexual encounter turns into multiple trysts in and out of the office and the lines she'd tried to draw so carefully are blurring. But the closer they get, the more Rory realizes that there are things about Lucas she doesn't know, things he's hiding from her. She'll have to decide if she can surrender to her feelings or get out while she still can.

I also have a blog tour, hosted by InkSlinger PR that will be kicking off on Friday, and there will be some SUPER awesome prizes in that, but for right now, I'm going to do a little celebratory giveaway. I have these AWESOME coffee mugs...

And a $10.00 Amazon gift card! There will be FOUR winners (contest is international).
Just follow the rafflecopter!

Steph Campbell and Liz Reinhardt stop by!

They're the amazing writing duo behind the NA Lengths series (including Riptides, which releases TODAY). They stopped by the blog to tell me all about how they celebrate their release day, and the days leading up to it. Funny, it's not very different than what I do...

When we come up with an idea for a book, we’re like this:

And then we start writing. Even when we feel stuck. We keep writing.

And writing.

And ignore everything but our writing.

And our houses look like this:

And our kids look like this:

But then we type THE END.

Only we have to go back. Just to make sure it’s really THE END.

And when we send ARC’s out and we’re like this:

And for the next few weeks, we write guest posts, and do edits, and gear up for release and dream of this:

And once we click publish, we’ll sort of disappear.

Because as much as we hope that people enjoy RIPTIDES.

And we’re dying to know what readers think
we have to avoid the interwebs and not check reviews and sales ranks and stuff in order to clutch onto our sanity

So, we’ll have our ritual daily phone call (because we don’t live in the same town...yet) and make a toast over the phone to adding another book that we’re super proud of to our series.

And we’ll decompress.

And hang with these people that make it all possible, and everything worthwhile...and hope they haven’t forgotten who we are! :)

And repeat.

I totes love Firefly giveaway!!!

I think I'm going to start making this a regular thing by giving away some of my favorite things. This month it's Firefly! Yes, the show that ran for less than one season on Fox in 2002. For those of you who know the show, you know how tragic it was and STILL is that it was cancelled, but we did get a movie in 2005. Still. It breaks my heart that it didn't continue because it would have been AWESOME.

So, I'm going to give away the first (and only) season of Firefly on DVD as well as the movie Serenity on DVD, or a $50 Amazon gift card! Just follow the Rafflecopter instructions below :)

I love Buffy SO MUCH. Seriously. SO MUCH (giveaway attached)

For reals, guys. I posted a few months ago about watching it, and I've since finished it once and I'm in the fifth season on my second re-watch. I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH. If you've followed me on twitter AT ALL, then you know this. Which brings me to my next point....

I feel like I should share Buffy with the world. It's been a while since I did a giveaway and I thought I would change things up a bit, so I'm going to give away this...
Yeah, that's right. It's the complete boxed set of Buffy DVDs. It was on sale, and I couldn't bring myself to buy it for me (I already have them), so I'm giving them to YOU. PLUS there's also the chance to win a $50 gift card. Because I'm a freaking philanthropist. All you gotta do is fill out the fancy dancy little rafflecopter and one of them could be yours!!!

Ten Things I Learned at Bookbash...

So I know it's been a while since Bookbash, but I never did a wrap up post, so I'm doing it now, okay? You cool with that? I hope so:

1. You need to have a banner at your table, or else people won't be able to find you. EVERYONE else had a banner of some sort with their name on it. Why it didn't occur to me to have one beforehand, I don't know. I have since bought a banner, so look for this at my events:

2. In that same category, you need business cards with your name and your information on them. Another duh moment.
3. When Karina Halle says, "let's do a shot!" don't let her order you Jameson's. You won't be able to do it in one go and then you'll choke and sputter at the table and everyone will laugh at you.
4. When Karina Halle offers to buy you champagne, don't say no. Just go with it.
5. Don't stay in your room and watch Dance Moms marathons on Lifetime. Go down to the bar. EVERYONE is at the bar.
6. When you go down to the bar, don't wear your pajamas, no makeup and your glasses. You will be photographed and everyone else will look great and you'll be wearing a Buffy t-shirt and looking like you just rolled out of bed, even though you did.
7. ALWAYS be photograph ready. Have your faces and poses ready at all times. Especially your duck face.

8. Decide what you're going to sign in people's books before the morning of the event. Pick something short, because your hand will be tired and your already bad handwriting will get even worse (I went with xoxo and my name).
9. When you meet Colleen Hoover the first time, don't just stare at her mutely. This will lead to awkward silence and you having to run away.
10. Authors are FABULOUS people, and nearly all of them are actual, REAL people that you can talk to and will talk back, even if you're freaking out in your mind (OMG, I'm talking to KATJA MILAY!).  So stop treating them like they're magical unapproachable unicorns and grow a pair.
