Only a month until My Favorite Mistake is in bookstores... ACTUAL BOOKSTORES. (Also, there is a giveaway in this post, so you should read it)
This pretty much sums up how I feel. Also this:
MY FAVORITE MISTAKE IS GOING TO BE IN REAL BOOKSTORES IN LESS THAN A MONTH. It's so.... freaky. I mean, exactly one year ago, I was still in the throes of actually writing the book. I knew from the very beginning it was something special, but to be here a year later, with a contract and a sequel and all of this is just... freaky.
Also, I have some ARCs (advance reader copies) that Harlequin sent me left over from Book Bash. So I'm going to give away FIVE of them right here on this blog.
How can you win one? Well, first you need to go into your wallet and pull out your debit card and send me the...Just kidding.

Some things about some things
FIRSTLY, I'm back from Bookbash!!!! It was SO FREAKING EPIC. I think I got to meet some of you, but I was so nervous and so overwhelmed that I don't remember anyone's name. So if you see me at another signing and we've already met REMIND ME. I'm terrible with faces and names. Like, awful.
I will be doing a Bookbash wrap-up post, complete with pictures and funny stories. I have a picture of Karina Halle (you can find out about her AMAZING BOOKS here) licking a large pickle. So come back for that...
SECOND, I have NEWS about the SEQUEL to MY FAVORITE MISTAKE!!! (There are a lot of caps and exclamation points in this post, aren't there?) It has a title: MY SWEETEST ESCAPE and a release date: January 28, 2014. Wanna know what it's about? Here you go:
The past will always find you.
Jos Archer was the girl with the perfect life; until the night it all came crashing down around her. Now, nine months later, she still hasn't begun to pick up the pieces. Even transferring to a new college and living under the watchful eye of her older sister, Renee, isn't enough to help her feel normal again.
And then she meets Dusty Sharp. For reasons Jos can't begin to fathom, the newly reformed campus bad boy seems determined to draw her out of her shell. And if she's not careful, his knowing green eyes and wicked smile will make her feel things she's no longer sure she deserves.
But even as Dusty coaxes Jos to open up about the past, he's hiding secrets of his own. Secrets about the night her old life fell apart. When the truth is finally revealed, will it bring them closer together;or tear them apart for good?
What do you think about that? Yes, I know some of you were hoping for a Hunter POV book, but my editor and I decided that wasn't the best direction to take the series. We also talked about highlighting one of the other current couples, but then this idea happened and we both loved it. You will see PLENTY of Taylor, Hunter and the rest of the gang, I PROMISE. THIRD, I will be at Indie BookFest on August 3rd in Orlando, FL! I'll be on the New Adult vs. Young Adult panel at 9:35 along with Kristie Cook, Amy Miles and Raine Thomas :) It's gonna be fun.
And FOURTH... here's an Alexander Skarsgard gif. Because of reasons.

Hunter is in the NA Crush Tourney!!!!!
Look over there, on the right! Our boy Hunter Zaccadelli is up against Colt from Charade. Now I haven't read Charade, but I ADORE Nyrae Dawn. BUT... I REALLY WANT HUNTER TO WIN.
I CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU, WONDERFUL INTERNET PEOPLE.
See? Nicholas Cage means YOU.Now I'm not going to use dirty tactics, or sling any mud, but I'm not above bribery. Yup, bribery. IF Hunter wins his match on Thursday, June 27, I will write a scene from My Favorite Mistake from Hunter's perspective and post it here for everyone to read. I'm still deciding which scene that's going to be, but I'm taking suggestions on Facebook :)

I suck at contests, NA Crush Tourney and I buy a lot of books...
I know I need to post winners for the Faster We Burn contest. I'm actually just waiting on shipping, so I will announce those next week. I SWEAR.
On a happier note, nominations are now open for the NA Crush Tournament! You can go HERE to get the nomination form. It would mean SO MUCH to me if you would nominate Hunter, Zan or Stryker. I know none of my boys will win, since they've got stiff competition, but, to be a TOTAL cliche, it would be an HONOR just to be nominated. You get up to EIGHT slots, so you can go nuts.
So, I bought a bunch of books. Every now and then I go crazy and go on a paperback book binge. I went New Adult with this spree: Shark Bait by Jenn Cooksey, The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen (it's a crime I didn't have this book sooner. Jess gave the nicest blurb that's on the back cover of My Favorite Mistake), Damaged by H. M. Ward, If You Stay by Courtney Cole, The Only Exception by Magan Vernon, No Attachments by Tiffany King and, based off recommendations from Twitter, The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson.
What books have you bought lately? I LOVE recommendations!

My Favorite Mistake gets a new cover and I flail a lot...
