2021 Goals and 2020 in Hindsight
In 2019, there was a meme going around that said something similar to the following:
1720 – There was a plague
1820 – There was a plague
1920 – Also plague

Tea Review
I tried some Bird & Blend teas a few weeks ago: Tea and Toast, Eton Mess, and Hot Buttered Rum. A review:
Tea and Toast needs around two teaspoons steeped for four to five minutes. Too long and it becomes bitter. Not long enough and you can hardly taste it. While it does not taste like tea and toast, you get some nice raspberry notes in there along with black tea. I might need to try a few more servings to get this one right, so I dont put my endorsement on ityet.
Eton Mess is entirely...

In that spirit, Ive put together a list (and checked it twiceno, Im not Santa, but I do edit) of the top five gifts I think might be on quite a few writers wish lists this year. Note that I dont have all the...

Today is Black Friday. It’ll be different this year, I’m somewhat certain. I really hope the health and safety of workers are put first. I’m sure Cyber Monday will be business as usual. But speaking of shopping days, tomorrow is the day we’re encouraged to…Shop Small. Yes, Shop Small Saturday, the day where we’re asked to give small and local businesses our attention. That can look l...
