Throughout spare and lunch, Julie looked for Robert, but he didn't appear. She walked to English class alone.Mrs. Wolmsley had finished taking the attendance when Robert entered and placed an admit slip on her desk. She proceeded with a class discussion of the novel they were studying. "Mr. Holiday." Her brow wrinkled. "Are you sleeping or paying attention?"Robert didn't open his eyes. "Payin' attention, ma'am. Just tryin' to get rid of a headache.""Do you find my class painful?""No, ma'am. The three-hour calculus quiz I just wrote was. None of it made any sense to me, but now I'm sittin' here listenin' to you and tryin' to make my headache go away.""Did you read the book?"Robert opened one eye and glanced at Julie. She nodded."Oh yea. I remember. Gawd, it was borin'." Shit. Shouldn't have said that."You found Young Men/Lost Nights/No Dreams boring?""Yea. The guy don't know what he's talkin' 'bout. I'd love to live where he lives. Shore ain't half as nice.""What's so tough about Shore?" A voice floated over from the other side of the room.Robert forced his eyes open. The harsh glare from the lights irritated the throb in his head. "It's called basic survival. In the book, the school was a nice place to go. It had lockers. North Shore Secondary don't got any. Well it's got lockers, just none got any doors on 'em. The teachers ain't as good as here. Mrs. Wolmsley, you're too nice. You wouldn't survive a day.""And why not? I've handled enough rowdy students in my day?" She stood a bit taller."Rowdy?" He snorted. "Try violent. Let me explain it this way, English was givin' bro a harsh go so I whipped my switch past his brains."The teacher blinked.Robert chuckled. "Translation, the English teacher was giving a Shoresmen a rough time, so I threw my knife past his head." A small grin crossed Robert's face. "He didn't bother my buddy no more. Ya see, I'm tryin' to be good while I'm here. I'm gettin' treated like shit but I'm tryin'.""You don't seem to be getting the hint and leaving." Derek yelled across the room."Ya have no idea how much I'd like to, but I'm stuck here."

Is the love of a girl from wealthy Westland and a street punk from the slums of the Shore strong enough to surpass all that life will throw at them and forge a life together? Is Julie willing to sacrifice her childhood dream of becoming a professional dancer for the man she loves? Is Robert willing to lay down his ties to the gang in order to hold onto his new found love?
Sacrifices must be made, but will they be enough?

Which only means the inevitable is going to happen. #mythoughts

My thoughts today turn to Fall.

Yes - Fall fell several weeks ago, but it is only now in full swing.
Most of the trees have lost their leave, flocks of Canada Geese have flown overhead and the majority of the crops are off the fields.
Which only means the inevitable is going to happen.
Winter.

People is warmer climates think - Yay - cooler temperatures.
People in northern climates think - Crap - here it comes.

So enjoy Fall.
It's a beautiful transition time in the never ending seasons.

Yes, that is snow. Happened last week.

How could I mispell the word taco? My Insecure Writer's Support Group post for November. #IWSG #edits

Link Back to IWSG
Insecure Writer's Support Group created by Alex J. Cavanaugh
Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!

Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer's Support Group day. We share our thoughts - talk about our doubts and fears. Or we can offer a word of encouragement to others.
Co-hosts for this month are:

Joylene Nowell Butler     Jen Chandler      Mary Aalgaar        Lisa Buie Collard
Tamara Narayan       Tyrean Martinson    Christine Rains

First let me start with an apology. I didn't make it to commenting on anyone's post last month. The beginning of Oct suddenly when stupid busy and by the time I remembered it was well into the following week. I will be more dutiful this month.

Last month, I talked about my fears of opening the edits on my latest book. Having had some brutal editors, I am a bit skittish when edits arrive. Pleased to announce, I pulled up by big girl panties and got through them. What was delightful to discover was there were no comments - just trackchanges suggestions.

But - hallelujah - on these edits - no comments. Now, it's still embarrassing to have mistakes pointed out - example tco. How in the world - in how many reads of that story - did I not notice the word taco was missing an a? I swear some Internet gremlin took it out when I emailed in the book.

Question for this month is -

What is your favorite aspect of being a writer?

That's an easy one - I can work in my pjs all day or if I feel like getting dressed - I can upgrade to my sweats.

Urban Supernatural Thriller Oblivion by Joshua Ryan Ogg #supernatural #thriller

OBLIVIONA MEDICINE MAN NOVELby Joshua Ryan Ogg Genre: Urban Supernatural Thriller
A maniac is murdering gang leaders in the desert outside San Diego, black magic is whispered in back alleys, and zombie tweekers roam the streets. The world stands on the brink of something sinister and occult but the only guy Donnie DeGrassi knows that can solve this supernatural puzzle is a recluse that hides out in his beach shack, talking to spirits and brewing hallucinogenic compounds. Some say he’s crazy, others claim he’s genius, but those that dose Kal Renley's chemicals just know him as the Medicine Man. Can Donnie get his old friend out of retirement before reality gets as ugly as the underworld?

Mek, I can’t get it out…

He felt it nesting already in the slimy folds of his subconscious and somehow he’d failed at his own game. A snake expert taken out by venom.

Eden was horrified. She burst into tears and kept repeating “Oh god, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry…” as she backed away to the door.

Kal tried to raise a hand to stop her but he was shaky and weak.

“You have to shut it out,” Meklyn hissed. He was protective of Kal’s mind—that’s where he lived, after all—but this one had gotten the jump on them both.

“I’m sorry,” Eden stammered in horror and guilt before disappearing into the rain-soaked night.

“No wait,” Kal pleaded but the curse was sending him into shock. The effects of that sigil still writhed inside his head and, for a moment, he wasn’t sure if he was really this cosmic millennial medicine man that had spoken to gods, wrestled angels, and banished demons or if he was just a delusional addict with severe psychological issues.

Probably both.

Images of horror and shame raced through him and he thrashed violently. Something was on him, chasing him down the long halls of his mind. Something that got inside him with just a glance at that symbol.

Heather’s death, the clan violence, the shadow hunters on the astral plane, all the things that drove him into seclusion and out of the game, it all swarmed his mind at once. The cabinet he had been holding shut for months came bursting open to spill the slimy contents of his repressed subconscious into plain view.

He stumbled toward the kitchen and crashed through drawers and shelves in search of something to ward off the effects. He was looking for something specific. His own special tonic. His Joos.

But he knew better. He didn’t keep any in the house. Had a slight problem staying away from it when a supply was on hand. His own little vice. But now he needed it. Whatever curse had been embedded in that girl’s ink was currently kicking the shit out of him from the inside.

Kal managed to get to his feet, the world spinning and screaming around him, and stumbled out into the rain. Only one place in this neighborhood kept the Joos.

Kal stumbled, sick and puking, through the night, wavering on the edge of a mad abyss, looking and groping for help, for a fix of his own. For his own medicine.

Happy Halloween from Victoria's Pages of Romance #flashfiction #halloween

Happy Halloween. That's about as scary as I get.

I decided to post a very short flash fiction I wrote a few years back.

The Romantic Librarian
The smell of old books always tickled Addie's nose as she wandered through the Cape North Public Library. Her library. She'd spent hours as a youngster sitting cross-legged in the children's section roaming through books, gazing at pictures and delighted to have discovered the ability to read. As a high school student, she'd spent many late hours prepping for tests and essays. After completing her Library Science degree, she returned to Cape North, became the Assistant Librarian and now the Head Librarian.

She heaved her shoulders and released a sad sigh. But now, almost everything is done on the Internet. She glanced at the bank of computers as she turned to pass through the stacks, pausing to glare at two stacks of books she was positive she'd asked her intern, the little witch, to reshelve.

"Anything else you'd like me to do?" The button-nosed, brunette intern asked as she peeked around the edge of the book stack.

Addie glanced at her watch, 8:50 p.m. "No. Go on. I bet you're headed off to a party. I'll just pop these books on their shelves."

“Happy Halloween. Don't let any goblins get you on the way home.” The intern waved and disappeared back around the bookshelf.

Of course you're going to a party. You have a life. Me. Le sigh. Not so much. Addie cast a quick glance over the titles of the books; two history, one Do-It-Yourself and a romance, Red Tulip by Victoria Adams. Been meaning to read that one. Could use a little romance in my life right now.

Having spent most of her life in libraries, Addie was aware of the stereotypical strict – SSSH! – librarian image, which she tried to dispel by wearing flowery dresses and sporting a bouncy ponytail; only putting her hair into a tight bun when she'd slept in and hadn't had time to wash it.

A shadow crossed the head of the aisle between the stacks. Addie paused. Russell, her new and absolutely delicious looking assistant, stepped into the aisle. His chocolate brown eyes lit with delight as he spoke. "I was wondering where you were. Been looking all over for you."

Addie's toes tingled and she stifled a giggle. He was looking for me?

He reached down and grabbed the second stack of books. "I'll reshelve these and then I'm done for tonight."

Her giddiness morphed to sadness. "Off to a Halloween party?"

Russell chuckled. "Isn't it funny how we don't outgrow some childhood delights. A party is where I'm headed. I'll lock the door."

Addie watched as he disappeared down the main aisle headed towards science fiction.

She glanced at the romance book in her hand. Russell had to be only a year younger than her, but somehow he seemed older. He always laughed at her jokes and was a wonderful conversationalist. If only she wasn't his boss. Maybe. Just maybe.

She placed the Do-It-Yourself book on the shelf and gripped the romance as she wandered back to the romance section. Memories of romantic and passionate heroes flitted through her mind. She paused on her favourite, Heathcliff. Nice glass of wine. Some romantic music and a little Wuthering Heig — aah!

She jumped then scolded herself. The noise was probably Russell shutting the big back door and locking it. Locking her into her library. She was alone. With her books. Her stories. Her imaginary lovers. She stuffed the romance into its place then did a quick check of the doors to ensure they were locked and the tables to see if they were empty.

A shiver ran down her spine. The hairs on her arms stood up. Turning slowly, Addie caught just a glimpse of the shadow that slipped past the end of the row of books. Squaring her shoulders, she marched in the direction of the intruder. Someone in her library after hours – so not going to happen.

The soft carpeting muffled her steps making sneaking up behind the miscreant easier, but alas, it muffled his steps as well. She wandered along the main passageways peeking left and right down dark rows of books. At the end of a reference row, she saw just a snippet of the shadow.

Addie quickened her pace. Rounding the corner of the reference section, she stopped. Her hand flew to her mouth to stifle a gasp. In the reading lounge, someone had moved the chairs and tables and laid a bright orange and black checked tablecloth on the floor. A bright, grinning Jack-o-lantern rested next to a vase with one white rose. Two filled champagne flutes rested beside a box of chocolates.

She stepped closer as she glanced about the area. Out of the corner of her eye she watched him step out of the shadow. It was Russell.

“I hope you don’t mind that I took the liberty?” He pointed to the impromptu picnic.

Her heart skipped a beat as she crossed her hands on her chest. “Is this for me?”

Russell stepped closer and breathed across her ear. “It's for us.” He held out his hand and helped her sit on the picnic cloth then he sat next to her.

Addie giggled. “This is just like in one of the romances I’ve read.” She picked up the champagne flute and sipped.

Russell smiled. “Ever read paranormal romances?” He leaned closer as if to kiss her then two gleaming white fangs descended. He hovered over her neck.

“Russell!” She pushed him away. “Rule 26 of the Library Board. No vampires allowed in the library." She flicked her hand. "Be gone!”

With a puff of smoke, Russell vanished. Addie picked up her champagne flute, the open bottle and the box of chocolates then headed back to the romance section to grab the book she’d just shelved.

With Red Tulip tucked under her arm and while juggling all the other items, Addie pulled her wand out of her pocket and swished herself home for a quiet night’s read.

Just when everything gets calm... Dancing in Circles on Weekend Writing Warrior #8Sunday #romance

Link back to Weekend Writing Warriors - www.wewriwa.com
Welcome to another weekend of Weekend Writing Warriors. My 8 - 10 sentence snippet this week is from my first release from my NA contemporary romance – Dancing in Circles- Book 1 of Circles Trilogy.
Scene Set - Robert stopped a date rape attack on Julie. He's holding her trying to calm her. She asked why would Chris do something like that?

Robert didn't answer, instead letting the comfort of his arms soothe her. She snuggled closer, closed her eyes and listened to his heartbeat. With each pulse, the chilling effects of her shock faded. Julie didn't want to break the spell of the moment. Her breathing returned to normal and her pulse slowed. Everything was perfect."Let go of her. You son of a bitch."
Blurb – One born into privilege and a charmed life surrounded by love and family. The other born to a life of violence on the streets as the solemn gang leader of the notorious Shoresmen. A young, idealistic co-ed, Julie, meets a jaded, cold gang member, Robert, and cracks his icy shell, allowing the warmth of her love to awaken his soul.
Exclusively at – AMAZON

What people are saying about Dancing in Circles5 Stars - Author Victoria Adams does an excellent job at bringing characters to life. I really enjoyed living through Julie's dream of becoming a dancer and her connection with Robert. Yeah, Robert may have gotten himself in the wrong crowd, but he really does portray a compassionate person and in the end he really does grow on you. Can't wait to see the next one in the series!

Spotlight on contemporary erotic romance - Brothers in Blue: Max by Jeanne St. James #contemporary #erotic

Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance
Blurb:
Big city party-girl Amanda Barber has been spoiled most of her life. But life for Amanda suddenly becomes a major challenge: adapting to small town life, dealing with her handicapped brother and constantly butting heads with a frustrating local cop.

As a police officer and former Marine, “responsibility” is Max Bryson’s middle name. Never having been in a serious relationship, he has no plans for being in one in the near future. He likes being his own man. And even if he were interested in a serious relationship, he certainly wouldn’t choose it to be with someone so immature and irresponsible as Amanda. But no matter how hard he tries, he can’t get sexy Amanda out of his head or his heart. Watching her mature in front of his eyes, his protectiveness towards her only strengthens.

Bossy and possessive aren’t the only words Amanda uses to describe this frustrating cop. She can’t deny just looking at the man makes her tremble. But she’s done with having anyone control her and this man isn’t going to be any different. Or is he?

She laid her head on his shoulder and snuggled her nose into his neck. She could feel his strong pulse against her cheek. It felt so good to be in his arms. She circled his tattoo with her finger. Semper Fi. Mary Ann had made sure to tell Amanda that it meant “always faithful.”“Did you always want to be a cop?”He had one hand on her hip and the other on her thigh, rubbing it slowly back and forth. “Yes.”She waited a moment, and when he said nothing further, she prodded. “Why?”His deep voice resonated through his chest. “I was always in awe of my grandfather and my father. That’s why I followed in their footsteps. That’s why all three of us did. The Marines first, to serve our country, and then the police department, to serve our community.”“To protect and serve, huh?”The pride exuded from his words. “It’s the Bryson family motto.”She moved her nose up to nuzzle him behind the ear. “Well, you can protect and serve me anytime.”“I’d planned to since the minute you bitched me out in that parking lot when you first came to town.”She raised her head, pushing herself up with a palm against his chest. “You were only trying to get into my pants.”“True…” he said slowly.Amanda grabbed a nearby decorative pillow and whacked him.“Hey! You didn’t let me finish. True, but when you saw me in my uniform, you just wanted a big ol’ piece of this bad boy.” He opened his arms wide as if offering himself to her.Amanda whacked him again. “Yeah, right.”“You can’t say you didn’t want this.” He reached out, and his long fingers cupped her face as he leaned in to kiss her. It was only a slight brush, leaving her wanting more.“No, I didn’t.”“Would you have kissed me if I had torn up the ticket?”“No.”“Liar.”“For twenty-five bucks? Get real. I wanted to take out that retractable metal stick you carry and beat you over the head.”Max laughed. “You mean my ASP baton?”“Whatever.”“Only because you were sexually frustrated.”“You wish.”He poked her side gently. “Admit it.”“No.”“C’mon.”“Okay. You’re right. I was sexually frustrated because I couldn’t jump your bones right there in the middle of town, in the free parking lot on the pavement amid a bag of spilled dog toys, while Greg looked on. Satisfied?”His smile widened. “Yep.”“Good. Now kiss me again.” She grabbed the back of his head and pulled it down until their lips were a breath apart. “And do it like you mean it this time.”The light peck was easily forgotten as he claimed her mouth with his, crushing her to him. This was what she had been waiting for. She groaned into his mouth, tangling her tongue with his. She felt a twinge and wiggled her hips in his lap, feeling his body harden. He pulled back slightly. He ran a finger under the edge of her skintight black pants. “You know, I’ve drunk too much to drive. I guess I’ll have to stay put until I sober up.”“Hmm. Maybe I should make another pitcher to make sure it takes you a while to sober up.”“Forget it. I want to make sure you remember everything I do to you.”“You’re right. I want to make sure you can do everything to me.”“So we’re going to seal this new compromise with another kiss?”“No, even better…” Amanda unfolded herself from his lap to take his hand and lead him upstairs. As the steps creaked underneath him, she whispered, “We need to be quiet.”At the top of the stairs, he answered, “I’m not sure that will be possible. You squeal like a pig.”Amanda stifled a laugh and poked him in the ribs with her elbow.“Ow!”“Shh!” She pulled him into the master bedroom and shut the door quickly behind them. She leaned against the door and watched him rub his ribs. His fingers were long and strong, and she knew what they could do to her, how undone she could become. Her stomach fluttered at the thought. He splayed himself over the bed and held out a hand to her. “I feel like a teenager trying to have sex in my parents’ house and not get caught.”Amanda reached behind her to turn the lock.“Are you going to be able to stay quiet?” she asked him.A wicked smile crossed his face. “Oh yeah. But I doubt you will be able to.”“I hear a challenge.”He laughed quietly. “You betcha. Are you game?”

What made Robert so unhappy about his past? Circles Divided on Friday Snippets #FridaySnippets #NA #romance

This week's snippet is from my NA contemporary dancer romance - Circles Divided. Book 2 of Circles Trilogy.

Scene set - Robert gets a look back at his past.

Mr. Craig pointed at the thick folder on the table. "That's Robert's academic records from Kindergarten to the present. It's full of teacher and psychological reports, intelligence tests, and parole officer statements. We can't access his police record.""Want me to list it off?" Robert grinned. The counsellor shook his head as he rifled through the file. "I suggest you read this one. It's from the head of the youth services office, and it states that Robert's attitude and behaviour are a result of his rebelling against his life in an effort to survive and succeed. This one." He removed another paper. "Is an intelligence report showing him to be reading at a level six years above his age. If you scan through you'll note his mathematical abilities scored even higher."As the dean read the reports, Robert held out his hand. "Can I see that?" He flipped back to the beginning of the folder and found his first grade photo. His hair was messy. His eyes were bright with child-like joy and a tooth was missing from his wide mouthed grin. He tapped Mr. Ross on the arm and showed him the photo. "Dorky looking kid."His teacher chuckled.Robert flipped the papers until he reached his second grade photo. While his hair was still shaggy and his tooth had grown in, he sported an angry bluish-green bruise on his cheek. A jolt of anger surged through Robert as he remembered the uncle/boyfriend who lived with them that year. The man had big, heavy hands and a short temper.Mr. Ross leaned in to whisper a comment, but the expression on Robert's face stopped him.One look at the defiant eyes of the third grade photo made Robert close the file and shove it away. He still had those eyes. The eyes he hid behind, challenging the world on a daily basis.

A well placed “No” changed Tiffany’s life. Fearless Destiny by Annette Bower #romance

Good morning Victoria. Thank you for featuring me on your blog today. This morning while applying lotion on my right ankle, I paid attention to the scar I have on my Achilles tendon. I fondly remember the cause and this scar represents who I am today, the books I read, and the stories I write. When I was seventeen, I worked part-time as a pump jockey, now referred to as a service station attendant. I believe I was the first female pumping gas in my city.
When Christmas came that year, the owner gave me a pink electric razor for my legs. I appreciated the thoughtfulness. Understood the sentiment, because what else would you give a young woman working in a gas station? One day I dropped the razor and damaged the head. Not realizing this wasn’t safe, I continued to use it. It bit a chunk out of my leg, hence the scar. Thinking about this in relation to my reading and writing, I realize that I have always enjoyed stories where women were in unusual roles. Women who pushed out the sides of the societal boxes they were placed in.  Even though I attempt to understand men and women who are content in their single life and/ or their lives without children, my “Achilles heel” is that I admire and am proud that I am part of the romance genre authors, who provide stories for all readers of romance.           Now, I’m reading The Governess Club: Sara by Ellie Macdonald. This is a historical series about four women who wanted to take charge of their lives. They had each been governesses under the authority of a household and therefore always uncertain of their futures. One wrong move and they could be out in the world with no support. This is about women who are individuals supported within a group. Did these types of women exist? Parts of them must have or the world wouldn’t have changed and continue to. I’m not reading for historical accuracy, I’m discovering another strong female character and a kind male, for a HEA ending.           My stories also feature women who push against the society’s constraints. In Woman of Substance, Robbie disguises herself in a fat suit to understand a very tiny bit of life as a woman-of-size. When I tell women this, they ask, “What woman would do that?”  Exactly. Robbie needs to understand the constraints put on women when they feel they must conform to a certain body type. In Moving On, Anna leaves behind her support system after her fiancé died. She goes away to a strange town to forge a new self. In Fearless Destiny, my new novel, Tiffany began her career as a plumber and a partner in the family business but she discovers independence and has to say no to her parents. She cannot return to the person she was in the past. I have been asked why I named my heroine, Tiffany. The name seems fluffy. But to me, Tiffany stands for a diamond, a solitaire, an individual. And now I’ve come full circle, the scar on my Achilles tendon, caused because I gave up being a sales clerk for men’s socks and became a pump jockey. However, when the owner of the service station asked me to forgo nurses’ training to become assistant manager, I didn’t. I wonder where my life would have gone, had I decided to be the assistant manager of a service station. Perhaps the first again in our small city. It takes courage to break down the sides of the boxes in our lives. Thank you to Romance stories for great examples of strong female characters. A well placed “No” changed Tiffany’s life. Even though she is pulled by her roots, she clings to independence supported by Will Cleaver. “Is there anything else you would like to tell me about your less than stellar mobility?” Tiffany asked. “No, after that I’m pretty much perfect,” he answered. “I’m glad,” she said.

Excerpt: The words “hello there” ploughed down the silent hallway asTiffany’s roadside linebacker advanced with a synchronized arm and leg crutch-walk. “Lorraine, there isn’t any water for a shower,” he said. Tiffany bit her cheek while she watched her father grab the railing on the wall. She stepped forward. “Tiffany George of George’s Family Plumbing. There’s a water break.” His gaze traveled up from her chest to the collar of her pink coveralls and then to the top of her head, where she was sure her spikes had tumbled like dominoes. Then down to the tips of her lime-green boots. “Nice boots, real nice boots.” “We’ve turned off the water.” Tiffany tugged at the weight of the tool bag across her body.“A sprite of many talents, I see.” He gripped his walking aids. “We can’t all be just a pretty face.” She could have bitten off her tongue. He raised his eyebrows and his eyes sparkled. They weren’t black after all, but a deep brown. “You think I’m pretty?” He sounded amused. She took a wide stance and began an assessment of him from the tip of his dusty loafers, gray trousers, a rumpled white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows exposing firm, and tanned arms. His whiskers shadowed across his firm jaw, his full lips held neutral, his straight nose and those dark watchful eyes had deep etched laugh lines around them. “You have a certain road weariness that I’d like to capture on paper.” Reaching with her callused fingers, she touched his beard. She suddenly wished for pencils and sketchpad, followed by a desire for a little black dress and platform heels to give her height and throw her chest forward. Lorraine coughed. “Tiffany?” “Lorraine, I stopped on the highway and helped this man out of his car.” She leaned back and stared at his nine o’clock shadow. “I’ve been in his space before.”“So you’re an artist plumber?” he said, looking down at her. “Artist, temporary plumber.” Tiffany stepped out of his personal space.

Sacrifices must be made, but will they be enough? Circles Divided on Book Hooks #romance #MFRWAuthor #MFRWhooks,

From my NA contemporary romance - Circles Divided

Scene Set - Robert is picking up Julie after her evening ballet class.

He sat on his motorcycle, leaning on the handlebars. His helmet rested on his lap and the wind blew through his hair. He wore his jean jacket on over his leather jacket to ward off the brisk November air. His long fingers stuck out of his cut off gloves. His unshaven face broke into a lopsided grin when he saw her step through the doorway.Julie flung her dance bag over her shoulder, stood erect, raised her head so her nose tilted up and walked along the sidewalk."Hey lady." Robert nodded towards the dance studio. "You see a cute little ballerina in there?"She turned her head only enough to glance at him then continued walking.
