Hi everyone!

My name is Dee Dee, I'm twenty seven and I live in a beautiful part of Devon, England, with my family.

That introduction made me feel a little bit like I was on Blind Date!!!

As our house is in the countryside we have some unusual neighbours including chickens, ducks, geese, pheasants, a cat (that adopted us when we moved in!!!) and some koi. I also have a very long suffering younger sister, Jingle, who is a brilliant guitar player. She keeps me supplied with coffee and brownies, generally making sure that the Chant household doesn't grind to a halt.

I really hope you enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoy writing them.
I love reading and have a kindle, I enjoy almost every genre; if there is adventure and romance I'll be ther

Hi Dee!
Thanks for getting in touch. I'm currently halfway through the next book in The Lady Quill Chronicles, The Assurance. This is Leofric's story and I'm having so much fun with it! Leofric's cheeky but charming personality, coupled with his troubled past, is really blossoming in centre stage! I'm hoping it will be ready for release February/March.
After that I'll be ready to start on the next book in The Chronicles of Discord series. :-D(less)

Hi Dee,
Yes, there will be at least five books in this series. I'm currently half way through the next book, The Assurance, which is Leofric's story. As you said the tale is far from over; Daegmund of Gradock and his brother Anlaf will also have their own books!

Hello everyone!

So I have news!!! Not only does The Assurance now have a cover AND a synopsis, it also has a Goodreads page!!!

The Assurance will also be the first of my books to come out in paperback form and ebook form at the same time. I do want to prepare you though: as I've mentioned before Leofric's book is on the long side. This means that the Paperback version is going to be a little bit... Read more of this blog post »

“You have been so sheltered, Deeta - more even than your sisters. You know nothing of life or of people, in truth I think both scare you. You have little experience of anything but Tom and I and the children. You carved out a little niche for yourself with us, somewhere you were comfortable and safe. With each passing day I have watched you close yourself off from all that is new until it becomes impossible to answer the question of who you are because you do not know yourself. I think you have courage and that you are resourceful, maybe you are brave. But at this moment I see you look at upheaval and adventure with fright in your soul, so that you see only the bad and no good at all.”

“So? I know lots of beautiful women. Nova wanted to chase... I merely obliged her by running.”
