Grousing and Editing. Not Grousing About Editing.
Like other Americans, I took yesterday off. If you’ve been around for a while, you know that I don’t have a “real” job, so you’re wondering how to take that statement. Unfortunately, I had the day off because I was sick, not so that I could play volleyball on the beach.
My whole body was down and out, but the headache was the worst. I now have the utmost sympathy for migraine sufferers. It was miserable.I never sleep during the day. I just can’t fall asleep, no matter how tired I am. But yeste...

Here stands the current stats:
Bridgebuilders – Still with beta readers, although one report is in. I’m researching and interviewing editors for this manuscript.
Worlds Apart – Inching toward the finish line. Part of the problem is that I don’t have a clear vision for the ending. I know how I want to end it – but the details for getting there are obscure. It’s been interesting as I start the last chapter. I tried three times to start a scene, and every time, it collapsed by the third paragraph....

A Decision That Lifted My Spirits
I haven’t read much about it yet, but… wow. The Supreme Court upheld the health care law.
Just… wow. I honestly did not know what they would decide. I could sort of understand the argument that the Fed has no right to mandate that Americans buy a product. But my feeling on that, was that we were just tripping ourselves up by trying to keep national health care “Amurican” by using private insurance companies.
I still think that, actually. We get so busy trying to avoid anything that smacks of so...
