The National Rally for Change – Improving Birth

In Which I Volunteer

Today, my SIL took us with her to work. She volunteers at a no-kill animal shelter.

We walked lots of dogs, helped dish out food and medicines, then devoted our hands to petting.

Tons of fun was had by all, and the shower I just took was more than needed!

Life Goes On, Oob-La-Dee

What a week this was, starting with the sad news of Neil Armstrong passing away. I know we all gazed at the moon a little sadly upon hearing about it. His adventures fueled my fascination with science and possibilities. I was 14 when he went to the moon, and I hardly blinked while watching it.

Random thoughts of an Accidental Author: Review: The Time Travel Journals: Shipbuilder

Random thoughts of an Accidental Author: Review: The Time Travel Journals: Shipbuilder.

A big Thank You to Joan Szechtman for this wonderful review of Shipbuilder. Joan is the author of two fascinating books about Richard III, stories that bring the controversial king into the 21st century where he gets a chance to tell historians what really happened in the 15th century.

Check back here soon, for an interview with Joan. She has some great ideas about time travel!

Boy scouts chairwoman ousted and berated for breastfeeding | BabyCenter Blog

Once again, the ugly head of ignorance and bull-shit has raised up to tell a woman that she should not behave like a woman!
