The Time Travel Journals: Bridgebuilders Chapter 4
I’m a little late today, but Chapter 4 is up!
In this chapter, we’re returning to the original universe. For those keeping score at home, you’ll know this is “our” universe.
Note the difference in the date. The second universe is 100 years behind us, so while it is 1980 for Sam and Sarah, it is 2080 here.
If you’re just starting, chapter 1 is here. Each chapter links to the next one.

The Mystery of Growing Vegetables
Perhaps I should just give up. I will forever have to buy my vegetables. If theapocalypse comes, I better be good friends with a farmer or two. I can cook. I canpreserve. But don’t depend on me to grow.
Every year, I try to grow something in my huge backyard. Every year, it all fails. I’ve composted. I’ve planted in the ground, in pots, and this year, we went all out and built a raised bed. I bought good, organic soil to put in it. I researched and bought seeds for plants that love to grow in...

I am brainstorming plot lines and character arcs, and...

A Useful Blog: Food Babe
I’ve just found the most amazing website and I want to pass it on. It’s called Food Babe. You can bet I’ll be posting links to special articles once in a while, because Food Babe is serious about Real Food!
One of my favorite parts of her site is the section on travel tips. These are great! I already bring my own food when we travel. I never want to have to eat the stuff they serve on the plane. It’s scary.
I also like her recipes for beauty treatments. I’m definitely going to try that coconut...

Author Ramblings
I must be feeling uninspired these days. I find another week as gone by (so quickly!) and I have only made one post. This has been a pattern. On one hand, this is not-so-good for a blog, as readers expectsomeinput. On the other hand, I haven’t been torturing you with inanities.
My life has not been static. In the last week, I’ve become a grandmother again:
He’s making faces at me, here. He was about 12 hours old. I love to hold newborns.
That was the big news. In other accomplishments this week,...
