The Joys of Retirement
Today’s Feature: Play time in the middle of the week.
We took a couple of days to go to wine country with friends. This group has been so busy lately, we’ve hardly seen each other at all. So this was a treat.

We finished the day with dinner at Della Santinas in Sonoma. This morning’s breakfast was on the deck in Nick and Helen’s amazing garden – quiche, corn muffins, and yogurt parfait! Thank you Nick and Helen!

On Saturday, my crit group was treated to a visit by award-winning SF writer, Nancy Fulda. Nancy was back in the Bay Area to visit her family, and she graciously let herself be stolen for lunch. As writers do, we dashed through topic after topic about our books, writing tips, our books, publishing, our books, our goals, critique groups, our books, critics, promotion…
