Buch Release Party & Western States Playlist (SPRACHNACHRICHT #46)

Clearing the Deck after the Marathon
One week since the release of “Runhundred” and it still feels pretty much like a total rollercoaster ride, and it wholly consumes my thoughts. Meanwhile, I am back from Valencia. It was a horrible trip back with cancelled flights, overnight drives in rental cars and gas station food, but we finally made it. As a farewell gift, I got a runny nose and massive sleep debt, but the family reunion with our lovely two cats, Harry & Toto, was well worth the stress.

Racing Valencia Marathon
Short recap of my Valencia Marathon. After all, right next to Sierre Zinal, this was one of my two A-races of 2023. Short version: It was a great race and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. If this doesn’t satisfy you, here’s a deeper dive into my Valencia Marathon.

"Runhundred" ist ab sofort erhältlich! (SPRACHNACHRICHT #43)
In der Sprachnachricht #43 zelebriert Chris Z die Veröffentlichung seines ersten Buches “Runhundred” und bedankt sich bei allen, die ihn auf dem Weg dort hin begleitet haben. Also bei euch. The Long-Overdue Marathon Update
Well, that escalated quickly.
As you read these lines, I am already tapering the hell out of my Valencia marathon training. There is one last tempo run left, which is more of a final gear check, not a developmental workout. The rest of my week is filled with travel preparations, sleeping and eating.
