That Vegan Cosplayer: I still don't get it.:

thatvegancosplayer:

I find it really weird that NO ONE (that I can find on the internet) has made a Rose and Thorn cosplay. (Er, Thorn really.) Like…really? She’s been in well-known comics like Birds of Prey, has had her own runs and has been around since the golden age. How can no one not know about her or have…

Good question!

Frequently an issue in my own life, as it happens.

I really ought to do a proper review of this comic as I developed a bit of a fondness for it.

From The Movement #2.

What a bunch of babies, screaming from being bitten by hordes of rats!

that post has me wondering Ms. Simone, what is your favorite comic book movie? avengers, dark knight, hellboy, x-men, what's your cinematic poison ma'am?

I had the most FUN at the Avengers, but I really enjoyed Thor, the second Nolan Batman, and I enjoyed Superman a lot more than I expected.

Hey, so I've heard what you said earlier from other writers too, that you aren't allowed to read fanfiction (I assume just ffs based on your work?) for legal reasons. Why is that? And why the distinction between fan art and fanfic? Also, are you still allo

It’s not a good idea for a published writer to read fanfiction of any stripe.

I agree that there is a blurry line there, where art and other fan activities are concerned, including cosplay. But published writers have good reason to shy away from reading fanfic of licensed characters.

Do you know if it's ever been canonically established which states Gotham and Metropolis are in?

No, at least in the DCU, we avoid saying in canon. Some other resources have picked states, I know…some of the older RPG things, I think.

But in the comics, we don’t say what state they are in.
