Are you satisfied with all the fan fictions and pictures of Scandal's marriage to both Knockout and Liana, or do you wish you could've got a chance to focus more storytelling on that plot?

I am happy to see that the relationship struck a chord and lives on with readers, so I am delighted that there is fanfic out there, but I’m not allowed to read any fanfic under any circumstances, so I don’t get to actually experience it.

I have, however, seen a lot of the fan art and I love it, it makes me very happy.

And once I fall in love with characters, I always miss them and wish their stories could continue.

In my mind, the three are happily married, Liana is the nurturer, Kay is the wild one, and Scandal is the happiest she has ever been in her life with two amazing wives.

HOUSE OF HORROR: 5 Free Horror Games You Should Try

HOUSE OF HORROR: 5 Free Horror Games You Should Try:

houseofhorrorzine:

I’ve long been a fan of room escape games – free browser-based or downloadable computer games with a simple point-and-click interface that involve trying to escape from an environment by solving puzzles and finding hidden objects. They usually take around 10 to 20 minutes to complete (with some…

Is anyone giving you a bunch of crap because they think you're going to turn Red Sonja into a lesbian?

People give me crap about including lgbtq characters all the time.

They are cordially invited to wear a lawnmower for a hat.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge while writing Red Sonja?

I love this question, but so far, it’s been nothing but fun. The issue I just finished actually had me in tears at one point, that’s pretty rare…very emotional.

I would say that I guess it’s a concern writing her in a way that challenges perceptions of  her, but people seem to be up for it, so I can’t even complain about that!  :)

One more transgender/transgendered/trans thing. Keep in mind that preferred terms sometimes seem to be in a state of flux. My impression is that that is more the case nowadays, as more and more trans people are asserting their identity and as public awaren

“Complicated” is fine.

It’s important to try to get it right. People deserve to be referred to in the manner they choose, particularly people who are routinely and deliberately sidelined by language.

I got a bunch of private emails saying the terminology is evolving a bit.  I appreciate all the trans people who took the time to express their own sense of it.

I have found this community to be pretty fricking amazingly generous in that regard.

With Bruce Timm stepping down from DC Animation, supposedly giving him time for other projects, is there any possibility of you two working on something together?

Truthfully?

It’s a little embarrassing to say, but if Bruce Timm calls me from Antarctica and says he wants me to fly there and write an animated My Mother The Car show…

…I will ask for the latitude and longitude and then I’m on my way. I LOVE that guy and everything he works on.
