I think transvestite isn't the preferred term? I think generally they prefer crossdresser; the slur mill in action.

I thought about that afterwards.

Is this correct, is the preferred term ‘crossdresser?’

Asking those who know for sure, would not want to be using a term that is considered a slur.

I swear, I can’t stop watching that little tag at the end with Smaug’s head coming around the corner. I cannot even explain how much I love that design, cartoon eyes and all. It’s amazing. Perfect.

This may still be up for revision, maybe it’s not the final design. But I HOPE it is. It’s fantastic.

Appreciate the thoughts, but I don’t think it is just a ‘comic book’ notion, I think it’s a common media trope that the smart person in the wheelchair is the tech genius almost automatically. It happens in other media.

I’m not trying to bash anyone, I am just surprised that so many people made that assumption, there’s just nothing in the portrayal to indicate it.

Seriously, every ISSUE Fernando is just owning this book. Wait’ll you see next issue, it’s freaking unbelievable.

I love comic artists, I get to work with a lot of fantastic artists. Fernando is DESTROYING on this book, and his Barbara is going to be a standard.

Honest. I am ecstatic.  It’s opened up the book hugely.
