There are two things about the response to this book, which has mostly been wonderful, but these two things keep cropping up and I’m not sure about them.

I am just a little curious why these two ideas keep coming up in reviews and comments.

Appreciate the thoughts, but I don’t think it is just a ‘comic book’ notion, I think it’s a common media trope that the smart person in the wheelchair is the tech genius almost automatically. It happens in other media.

I’m not trying to bash anyone, I am just surprised that so many people made that assumption, there’s just nothing in the portrayal to indicate it.
