Some old shots of my first Daredevil suit. I forgot how good these turned out!
BETTER THAN AFFLECK!
I just want to say thank you for writing the most influential characters in my life. I remember when Birds of Prey was on the WB and I remember the Bat family and how they all taught me to stay strong and try my hardest to do the right thing. Thanks.
Well, first, thank YOU, that’s a lovely thing to say.
Second, these characters meant the same things to me when I was a kid reading comics, I always felt that there was a message to me in them.
That’s why I always felt so happy to get to write them and try to make that message happen for others—it’s the characters, not the writer, really.
But also, it’s why I get so annoyed when they are mishandled!

Ravager, Blackbat & Misfit would be the greatest girlband of ALL TIME.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the characters from before the New52 that I missed, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the one I miss the most, the one I think we need back more than anyone…
…is Cassandra Cain.
For me, more than Wally, more than Donna, more than Zinda, more than Helena, more than Ryan.
I miss Cassandra Cain.
Beyond the fact that she was kickass and unique and a pleasure to read, she also was one of the most successful female lead books in years, AND a woman of color AND a woman with a lot to overcome that you could really cheer for.
Right now, today, if I had the power to bring one character back, it’d be Cassandra effing Cain.

Faora
Love her so much!
Can I ask you a serious question? How many years do you think will it be before we get to see LBGT couples/romances in mainstream kids' cartoon shows? & I don't mean couples some fanbases made up based on implications or cheesecake, I mean the kind of LBGT
I honest to god don’t think we are that far away. I don’t watch much television, I’m not in the loop, but I was just reading an article about how Disney tv is producing a couple shows with gay couples in them, including a pair of lesbian parents. These are shows aimed at young viewers.
What always holds these things back from happening is fear. Fear of reprisal. And that fear is mostly bullshit.
When these shows come out, and there’s no mobs in the streets howling for Disney blood, more such shows will follow.
It’s coming soon.

This is a bit of an old one, before I lost a bit more weight but I wanted to post it in Honor of Gail Simone who wrote the episode that we were re-enacting.
” You knew and you still help?”- Huntress
“….yes…” - Question
” Why?”- Huntress

And of course me and Ollie are just totally grossed out by this.

QUIT BEING REAL FROM INSIDE MY BRAIN! :)
This is awesome.
Will your Red Sonja be a good jumping on point for someone who knows noooothing about her?
Absolutely, it’s a relaunch from issue one!
Red SONJA, Baby!
I’m told that final orders for RED SONJA #1 need to be in by today.
We are putting our hearts and souls into this book, and I would dearly love to see it do well. We’re including LOTS of my favorite female artists on the covers, there are tons of special surprises and events planned…it’s going to be exciting!
If you haven’t yet done so, please consider calling your lovely local comics shop and asking for Red Sonja to be put on your pull list.
Don’t make the She-devil mad…Or Sonja, either! :)
