Vampire fangs, biting and blood drinking by Amy Mah Teenage Vampire

Vampire fangs, biting and blood drinking by Amy Mah Teenage Vampire

No. 1 in understanding vampires THE FANGS

Being a blood sucking denizen of the night is not always that easy, like how the heck do you obtain your midnight snack.
So let’s look at some of the old ideas, yes this idea is reported in some books by authors that could look to read a few medical books first
1.    Sucking blood through the skin or pores of the victim er? Like how does that work? Now I am no doctor but you must need lungs like a hydraulic pump to make that sort of trick work.
The nearest thing I have tried to this is cupping which is painful and if anyone says it does not is lying!
This is what you look like after a nice calming Cupping session or rather in my case screams of pain followed by get those fringing things off me, before I bite you!!!!!

Yes you may go nice and red but leaking blood?
Sucking blood through pores in the skin is like mega hard work and for a blood sucker they would die of starvation from the energy expended to rip flesh off by suction

The skin is pulled up and is red but no blood, so sucking through the skin is not something I would try.

2.    Next is biting with normal teeth …………. Right ok, this sounds possible ………. Ok if you are 3 years old then maybe but as a way to drink blood? Are you kidding?
Lots of talk of this in the early vampire myth but come on normal teeth?
This is a dark lord of the night we are talking about not some flea-bitten werewolf or moronic zombie!
For Liliths sake use a frigging knife if all you own is a set of burger choppers. …….. Like get real what a dumb way of getting a drink.
Biting into raw flesh with normal teeth causes more problems if all you want is to drink blood ..................
If you only have normal teeth use Tools!!:
Humans have used tools for yonks
Doctoral student Kyle Brown, who led the research at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, said: ''Our illumination of the heat treatment process shows that these early modern humans commanded fire in a nuanced and sophisticated manner.
''We show that early modern humans at 72,000 years ago, and perhaps as early as 164,000 years ago in coastal South Africa, were using carefully controlled hearths in a complex process to heat stone and change its properties, the process known as heat treatment.''
Previously, the first use of heat treatment was thought to have been in Europe 25,000 years ago. The technique was not believed to have been invented until long after the ancestors of modern humans had left Africa and settled in Europe and Asia.
Scientists had been puzzled by the fine-grained and often reddish coloured silicate blades and axes excavated from prehistoric sites at Pinnacle Point on the South African coast.
None of the material used to make these advanced tools matched local silcrete outcrops.
The raw stone ''was just not suitable for tool production'' said Mr Brown.
Then a large flake of silcrete almost 10 centimetres in diameter was found embedded in ash in an ancient fire pit.
It was only at that moment the researchers began to suspect that the stone had been heat-treated.
Many of the tools had a sheen or gloss reminiscent of much later North American artefacts made from heated material.
To test the theory, the scientists recreated what ancient tool makers might have done by heating a pile of silcrete stone in a fire pit.
The next day the silcrete had become a deep red colour and was easily flaked. Using the heated stone, the researchers were able to produce realistic copies of silcrete tools.

If you want to use your mouth then grow some fangs!
3.    FANGS ……………… to be a vampire you have to own teeth that are sharp and can puncher the skin and not remove it by the mouth full.
Now this is what makes getting a refreshing drink both easy and fun.
Types of fang:

There is first what I would call the Hollywood fang, think of hammer house of horror Dracula, two very sharp canine teeth which can only be seen when the lips are pulled up.

These are normally the correct type of fang for the undead vampire and are full explained in my Girls guide to being a vampire. as a paperback and kindle

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fangs-Girls-Guide-Being-Vampire-ebook/dp/B008PDEDHK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406631420&sr=8-1&keywords=fangs+rule
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fangs-Rule-Girls-Guide-Vampire/dp/1874192480/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1406631420&sr=8-4&keywords=fangs+rule

As long as you do not smile or yawn they can be hidden from sight.

The draw back with these are they are mega sharp so you need to be a fast healer just to heal the damage done to the mouth when talking.
Tall dark silent vampires are the ones that know it hurts to talk as the fangs cut into the lips.
Look even my turned vamps are smart enough to wear plastic caps over the fangs.

Keep the little plastic caps on until you wish to use them or as above you will bite your lips
Plastic Caps to protect the point
This keeps them nice and clean and sharp and can come in clear plastic or dayglow if you wish to make a fashion statement.
Sometimes you will see a pic of a poor vamp that has a mouth full of razor sharp fangs, now this chap or chap-ess can only drink blood or soup as such teeth make it impossible to chew!

Come on think about it …………… sigh……… look ask a dentist if you do not understand this.
Next we get to the extendable fang:

This is done by yawning or by a tiger growl, yes yes I know its childish but it works and a lot better than hissing,  I never know how this happens and personally I put it down to shyness as I have placed a mirror in my mouth to what how it works and they refuse to descend when looking.
Now these are the best sort to have and can give hours of innocent pleasure in cleaning and polishing them.
I use an Ivory polish on a battery tooth brush, it is only right that you should give your victim a nice clean bite so to leave the nice fashionable neck holes.
What people fail to know is this means all living vampires have to have a top over bite to their jaw, now you must know that!

It is a good way to check if someone is a vampire, straight teeth with no overbite means not a vampire as if there were then the extending fangs would mean they could not close their mouths let alone bite anything thicker than a piece of paper.
Come on think about it …………….

Unless you have an over bite you will not be able to use your fangs, if you have a under bite then with fangs you will look like a wild pig! there are billions of people that could never be turned into a vampire due to racial characteristics on jaw alignment.

We are talking about vampires and not snakes ……lol

Good for biting but not for chewing and even talking is not easy
As for the drinking of blood this can be done in several ways.
The Undead turned vampire with the cute Hollywood fangs makes 2 puncture holes and get squirted in the eyes until they remember to place lips around the holes ………….. not all vamps are that bright.
Personally being a Living vampire I have the benefit of not being human to start with so my body works slightly different to a humans.
The fangs are very strong and hollow and as soon as they penetrate the neck blood is forced through the fangs by the beating of the victims heart.

You now know why we don’t like dead meat.
Drinking from a living human is better as it is less work and the blood has a fresher taste.
Yes we can also drink it normally and get real messy doing it unless you can carry a nice large bear tankard with you.
Some of my friends take it with coffee but as for me I find mixing it with chocolate syrup is ho so yummy ……..

I hope this has been helpful and give you something to think about when you see a pic of some vampire showing permanent massive fixed fangs without out pointing out that having them means not only can they not chew but nor speak!

This very funny vampire novel is very different from your normal vampire book and not just because it is bursting with full colour art fitted in with the text showing the life of a young vampire forced to walk about in a transparent nightdress all day without underwear because that is what female vampires are supposed to do!
Unlike the undead sex mad vampire maids, Amy was a living vampire and the main difference apart from having better teeth and a pulse, meant she felt and suffered the cold invasive winds blowing along the corridors, most female vampire called them male winds due to the way they were always trying to rip the nightdresses off them.

From fighting in skin tight painted on body suits to learning to hang upside down from a ceiling in a nightdress without showing the world what you had for lunch, was just the start of her vampire training program.

And yes it's normal for a girl to dream about Guys, even if the girl happens to be a blood sucking denizen of the night - - - - It’s just that this denizen wishes the dreams could involve chocolates and holding hands and not leaping out on someone, ripping his shirt off and demanding to know what blood type he is, well at least not on the first date.

(Amy the vampire:……
“The massacre on 22nd and 3rd was greatly exaggerated by the human newspapers and not altogether my fault. It was my very first hunting trip, and a girl should not be judged by her first bite night. And no one ever talks about me saving the life of that cat. Besides, most of them kind of killed themselves without any help from me.”…………….

“And before tonight it was only one male that I killed by ripping his throat out with my teeth.”………….
“And no, I did not then eat him. I don’t normally eat vampires. I think I just chewed and swallowed what I had in my mouth after I bit him. That was all, and it was not that he even tasted that good. Besides, it was only three or four mouthfuls before he threw me off.”)

Books With Teeth Reviews

Vampire: By Amy Mah offers exactly what I was looking for in a Vampire novel. She creates a vampire society that lives just out of sight of humans but close enough to get a midnight snack...or take out if they feel like staying home! The story takes place around the life of Amy Mah a typical teenage girl in every way except for instead of painting her nails and worrying about shoes she polishes her Fangs and sharpens her claws both hand and foot!

That of course does not sound typical at all but for Amy it is. Our teenage Vampire soon finds herself swept up in a world of social intrigue and ancient hierarchy as she enters the hidden world of the Vampires. Adopted by her ""Uncle"" and ""Aunt"" Pinkbat, Amelia becomes one of the clan and quickly finds she needs to grow up fast and catch up on the rules of being a Vampire if she is to survive long in a cut throat society filled with political feuds and clan territorial disputes. Being a Vampire is not as Romantic as Hollywood makes it out to be!

Amy has a writing style that is refreshing and well thought out. She handles the romance tastefully and you can tell the character is an extension of the author herself. The illustrated version is a real treat because you get to see, obviously, illustrations of the characters done by the talented Heby Sim. This adds a significant value to the book. I suggest that everyone read this book. Give it a try because there will be more coming from this EXTREMELY talented author.

The Forever Show

“You may kill one. In any given town, you need no more than one.”In Mayfield, Delaware, the carnival is in town. Seventeen-year-old Lexi Cartwright, daughter of the local deputy sheriff and leading lady of her high school drama club, expects nothing more from her weekend than a few hours of fun, and perhaps a kiss from Eddie Ross. But for Lexi, and for the rest of the 11th Hour Players, the real monsters aren’t in the Pavilion of the Unusuals, and the real terror isn’t on the Ferris wheel. It’s lurking in a midnight blue Econoline van with tinted windows, waiting for the sun to die.
Meet the family. Casper’s family—of the Strigoi.
They are the youngest faction of an ancient order of killers that exists secretly, underground, throughout the world. They have been let loose from their sanctuary in Oregon so that they may prove, for a hundred years, their capacity to operate unnoticed and invisibly among the human race. They must learn to kill with discipline, to sew destruction without spectacle. And, this weekend, they must recruit their final member.
On Friday night, they will disobey their orders. They will unleash their full wrath upon Mayfield and its little carnival. They will incur the wrath of the Strigoi Cabal, and they will be eliminated—unless, before the sun rises on Sunday morning, they can turn the incorruptible Lexi Cartwright into one of them.
On Saturday night, Lexi will have to make a choice: die, or kill forever.Let The Forever Show begin.

The Sins of AbaddonBook One of the ‘Nikki the Vampire’ Series

BiographyI've had a fascination with fantasy, action and the supernatural since I was a little girl. I remember that the first scene that really took my imagination was where Batman in the Batman cartoon defeated a pair of Poison Ivy's henchgirls. I seriously just gasped as this tall, powerful man bound their frail wrists and stood over them triumphant. It just triggered something in me. I started to have what I call 'villainess' fantasies where the good guy triumphs over me in the story. I've started getting fascinated with the whole vampire genre, the idea that a vampiress is not human, she's just an evil, undead thing to be vanquished. It doesn't matter that she's beautiful, she's evil and she must be vanquished. (shiver) So I've learned to write my fantasies and I've found many others who enjoyed reading them.
By Olivia Cross
Blurb: Nikki Anelise was just your average 21 year old Santa Monica girl until she met the enigmatic Lord Karstens.

A simple trip to a local club leads to humiliation, lesbian sex and three pretty rough sexual encounters with powerful, supernatural men.

Will Nikki be able to find her way in this strange and brutal supernatural world?

My book can be found at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KYBE5TC
and Smashwords: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/447747

Chapter One:  The Sins of Abaddon
Hi, my name is Nicollette Anelise but my friends call me Nikki.  I guess I should start my story where it all really began; when I first stepped into a popular club known for its glitz, glamour and celebrity appearances.  A club that I would later discover had been turned to a dark purpose: The Monastery. The Monastery was a dizzying explosion of sights and sounds.  Dark and filled with the undulating bodies of intoxicated youth, the atmosphere was a contagious mix of excitement, eroticism and inebriation.  Jessica and I looked each other over.  My best friend was her usual five feet, nine inches of Asian bombshell.  She was a beautiful mix of knock-out Vietnamese good looks poured into a Viking goddess, Midwestern frame.  Her glittery, emerald green dress sucked against her body like she had been shrink-wrapped into it; It did very little to hide her prominent, D-Cup breasts or her mile long legs.  She was returning the favor and I could see her eyes scan my slender, five foot seven inch frame.   I have something of a striking, almost theatrical look with alabaster, white skin and raven, black hair.  I was suddenly aware that my blingy, crimson dress was riding a bit too high up my thighs and yanked on the hemline.  Jessica slapped my hand, grabbed me by the arm and led me to the bar.  “You need a drink Nikster!” Jessica laughed. “I insist!”  The urban melodies blasted relentlessly at our bodies like phantom bodies of sound.  We found ourselves moving helplessly with the rhythms.  The bar played out like the bastard child of a video game and an LSD trip.  Neon tubes and LCD screens lit up the rows of liquor bottles lining the walls and the glasses, themselves let off a dim, electronic glow.“What’re you having?” a tall, crazily coiffed server dropped glowing glasses in front of us.  “Let me guess, Cosmos?”  He flashed a toothy smile at Jessica.“White wine spritzer,” I ordered, failing  to break Jessica’s hypnotic hold of the attractive, blond. “Sex on the beach,” Jessica flirted and leaned over to display more of her amazing cleavage.“Right away…”  The bartender fished for the bombshell’s name..“Jessica,” my friend politely introduced herself… an inch away from the man’s lips.“…and a white wine spritzer please!” I interjected.  “Yes, of course,” the bartender broke away from Jessica’s fabulous rack, grabbed some bottles and began pouring.“Oh great, another night where I get to watch guys fall all over you while I manage the wingman!” I rolled my eyes and took a sip.“Relax Nikki,” Jess hugged me from the side.  “Men are flies and you brought the honey!”   My friend swirled her glass predatorily and scanned the crowd like a wolf assessing a colony of rabbits.Oh no, here it starts.  A large Latino stepped up into Jessica’s man orbit and foolishly flashed a smile.  I squirmed in my seat and prepared to watch the verbal dance.  He invades her personal space.  He breaks the ice with a charming joke while retaining eye contact.  Jessica giggles.  I knew it.  This night would be typical of our outings.  Tomorrow my friend would weave a story of drunken love making and regrets while I pretended to be happy for her.  Wait, what’s that?  I watched as my friend’s expression broke.  Her eyes were wide and locked onto something in the crowd.  Was that awe?  I turned swiftly and my eyes instantly caught what Jessica had seen. He was tall and powerfully built emanating a sort of dark authority that only Satan himself should command.  I could only stare at his topaz, blue eyes and midnight black hair.  He wore a tailored Italian suit easily worth more than my life and everything I owned.   Jessica wasn’t even feigning interest in the man talking to her and was slowly edging away.  Like a shark through herring, the dark figure strode effortlessly through the crowd and disappeared.  Without a word to her suitor, Jess grabbed my arm and dragged me along like a poorly hitched trailer.  “Jess, oh my God, he’s probably married or dating a supermodel,” I plead with my amazonian friend but I could tell that her mind was completely locked down.  All I could do was follow the swaying hips of my Asian comrade to her intended prey.    “Excuse me.  Excuse me,” roughly Jessica pushed her way through the dance floor while I took on the role of rear-apologizer.  Luckily my friend’s beauty and size afforded her a lot of slack and with the exception of some quick gropes we made it unmolested to a rear, windowless enclave. “What is this place?”  I was looking down into a beautiful, crystal adorned room adjoined by an ornate, glass staircase.   I could hear water splashing across rocks and a slower, more macabre melody wafting from inside.  Two muscular guards and a golden chain were all that separated us from what must be a VIP suite.  Jess didn’t even hesitate.  “Sorry I’m late!” Jessica tried to reach for the chain but a guard had her wrist.“Name?” commanded the taciturn guard.“Jessica Hyoung and this is Nikki Anelise.  Could you please just let us through; we’re already late for the party!” Jessica bluffed. The other guard scanned the list and shook his head.“Sorry ma’am, you’re not on the list,” the man growled.“I’m on every list!“ Jessica stepped up to the monolith of a guard and pushed her body against his.  “Now… would you really want your employer to find out that he missed out on… me?”  My friend flashed her beautiful, amber eyes and ran her hand down his chest.Impassively the guards glanced at each other and nodded.  One man mumbled into his mic.  Jess looked back at me and we exchanged shrugs.  It wasn’t long before an odd, small man had clambered up the stairs and was sizing us up.  Excitedly he motioned and whispered behind him.  A striking brunette and a pretty redhead hurried up the stairs resplendent in colorful, ornate costumes that could only be described as a hybrid of Victoria’s Secret and Victorian Era London.  The larger guard gingerly removed the chain and motioned for us to enter. “Miss Hyoung, Miss Anelise; I am Raphael.  Please… this way,” we eagerly accepted and followed the bald, gnomish man down the stairs  “Lord Karstens has very generously extended an invitation for you both to enter his very exclusive club, ‘Abaddon.’.”  The strangely dressed girls followed us down the stairs giggling to each other. “This is Stephania,” Raphael gestured at the small brunette who bowed her head politely, “and this is Esmeralda.” The redhead also bowed.  “They will prepare you for the soiree.” The girls giggled and followed closely behind us.  I glanced into the main room as I walked by.  It was a strange, aristocratic nightmare; dimly lit with pale, colored lights playing across a scene of excess and insanity.  Beautiful, elaborately costumed girls served formless shapes that hid in the darkness.   Water splashed down the rear wall and crashed against a stand of rocks and plants.  Lights danced crazily across the display, shifting colors with the music.  For a moment I was sure I could see the mysterious Karstens watching us as we walked by.“Girls, girls,” Raphael clapped. “You’ll have plenty of time to gawk once you’ve been introduced.”
“Introduced?” we replied in unison.  Instead of answering, Raphael lead us into an ostentatious bath house populated with ferns, exotic potted trees and a small, artfully crafted stream.  Two nude girls were playfully splashing each other in a bath just a few yards away.  My senses were reeling at what was happening.  It was so fast.  Where was I?  What was about to happen to us?  I felt like a princess, an heiress, maybe I was dreaming.  I looked at my friend and I could see the same awed, yet skeptical look in her eyes.  A violin sonata accompanied Raphael as he presented the rules.....................................

Review Fang's Rule by Amy Mah (Vampire)

Fangs Rule by Amy Mah
Fang's Rule  A Girls Guide to Being A Vampire by Amy Mah (Vampire)
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. It is an A to Z guide for vampires. Teenage vampires. I have had the book on my shelf for awhile. I love the cover and when I saw it on my shelf it drew my attention. I am happy it did. I really enjoyed this guide. Amy Mah writes this teenage vampire guide in a fun and engaging way.The artwork, done by Heby Sim, was gifted. This is a delightful book written from a teen perspective. Amy goes over all the things you need to know if you suddenly find out you are a vampire. Amy is a teenager who was raised by humans and did not know she was a full blood born vampire. When it was discovered she was adopted into the Pink Bat Family. She tells you about boys and gives you the rules for dating, (boys are not allowed to bite you). She covers the family and ranks in the family. She goes over all the myths and stories you may have heard. Amy Mah writes all this in a voice you can hear. it is like she is sitting with you explaining everything. I would definitely recommend this book. It was a lot more fun than I imagined. It is a book I will mostly read again and purchase as gifts to teens.

There was no bad language in the book however there were sexual references. The author while acknowledging the "bases" and teen hormones did not encourage sexual behavior in the references. I felt it was appropriate for older teens.

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway. I had intended to give it to my daughter. Now I guess I will have to buy her a copy because I don't want to give up mine. I do intend to get more books by Amy Mah.
