How I Finally Got The Law of Attraction To Work For Me

It was 2014 and we were broke. We were also newlyweds, I kept on having miscarriages and our house was haunted (a story for another day). Our publishing business wasn’t sustainable and we were living way beyond our means. To make matters worse, our second-hand car kept on breaking down and I was in the midst of nasty custody mediation issues with my ex-husband.





I was a “manifesting teacher” trying to keep my shit together.



I felt like the Universe had forgotten me. My body felt broken and my faith was being tested.





Here’s how I manifested my way through this time in my life…





It required some perception adjustments and energy management – which is where I first began to see the power of how our feelings create our current reality. Back then I was a manifesting teacher that was learning through experience and riding the wave of a very steep learning curve. These experiences became the core foundation for my manifestation teachings.

#1. I shifted the energy and for a fresh start







I understand not everyone can do this. We used all of the credit resources we had to move from Melbourne to Queensland. We needed a fresh start to interrupt old patterns of energy. You can also do this by decluttering your environment to shift your patterns of energy.





The outcome? Our business started growing because we made a pivot to educate ourselves on all things related to internet marketing.





MANIFESTING MINDSET TIP: When you switch up your patterns of energy then the Universe will respond with different manifestations.









#2. I stopped arguing with reality and made peace with the present







I was pregnant for the 6th time in 10 months and found myself in the emergency room with miscarriage symptoms again. I took out the notes app on my phone and wrote a letter to my “Soul Baby” to let her know I would be okay if she decided to stay or go. By simply making peace with the outcome no matter what it would be helped to release the energetic resistance for a positive outcome. I wrote about this extensively in my book: Dear Universe.





The outcome? My daughter, Lulu Dawn was born in March 2015. The following year I gave birth to my “effortless blessing” – Ava Moon. When I became comfortable with uncertainty, the lesson was fully understood on an experiential level.





MANIFESTING MINDSET TIP: When you simply accept your current reality and go with the flow then you empower your emotions and your energy. The key is to get comfortable with uncertainty.









#3. I embodied the concept of using “Active Faith”







I had always been really good at “acting as if” but there was always part of me that was skeptical. It’s like a muscle – the more you build it up, the stronger it becomes.





The outcome? After Lulu was born, our business was beginning to thrive and we decided to move from Australia to the United States. There were many obstacles that we needed to overcome such as having sustainable finances and getting approval from my ex-husband to move out of the country. With every obstacle, I acted “as if” – I held the vision in my heart. In April 2015, we decided to move the US and in September 2015 we were living in Las Vegas.





MANIFESTING MINDSET TIP: Always be smart about your leaps of faith and steps of inspired action. I sold all of my household belongings BEFORE my US Visa was approved – this is risky. The key? Always show the Universe that you are energetically ready for change and the Universe will respond accordingly.









#4. I took ownership of my energy and my vibration







If you want to manifest you must NOT hand your power over to others. You must learn how to guide your energy and raise your vibration so you can connect with the Universe in an authentic and effective way.





The outcome? The gift of awareness. When you become aware that everything that unfolds in your life is a beautiful manifestation then you can begin to consciously and intentionally create your own reality. I did, and you can too.

7 Daily Journaling Prompts for Intentional Manifesting

Are you one of those people that love to buy a new journal or get super-excited when you buy a new pack of highlighters? I am a total stationery nerd and a paper lover from way back. I love the potential that a blank piece of paper holds to change your life.





Whether you’re setting powerful intentions, listing out things to be grateful for, or venting your frustrations – writing in a journal has numerous benefits. 





However, sometimes you might find yourself sitting down to write in your journal and you feel blocked. Perhaps you wish you’d have a series of questions to be asked that would inspire you to kick-start your writing. 





Well…you’re in luck! 





Today I’m sharing with you 7 Daily Journaling Prompts for Intentional Manifesting. They are designed to connect you to the Universe, your higher self, and your natural flow of intuition. It not only raises your vibration but heals your heart. There is tremendous power in the pen. 





Save this post to your bookmarks and revisit it once a day for seven days to do the correlating journaling prompt for each day. All you need is paper and pen and some uninterrupted time to yourself (which is bliss).





Here goes…





DAY 1: 



Set the tone of your week with a list of powerful intentions. 





Write down what you’re excited about this week and why. List out things that you can do that will declutter your home and make you feel productive? Who will you connect with this week? What is great about the present moment? What would you love to attract this week? And if you did attract your intention, how would it make you feel? 









DAY 2: 



Write a letter to your future self. 





This journaling exercise has been used so effectively by my Manifesting Academy students over the years. The Universe loves a good letter from your future self because the energy can begin to work behind the scenes to make it happen. Cast your mind to the future – let’s say 5 years from now. Who are you? What does your life feel like? How do you spend your time? And who with? Where do you live? Dive into each delicious detail so the Universe knows what to deliver. 









DAY 3: 



Write a letter to your 21-year old self. 





Obviously, if you are 21 then perhaps write a letter to your teenage self.  What are some things you wish you knew now that you didn’t know back then? What are some things that you now know for sure? How have you grown? What do you love now that you didn’t like then? What are some experiences that you gained wisdom from?









DAY 4: 



Try automatic writing. AKA write whatever lands in your brain and don’t think about it.





What will come through from your higher self? A message perhaps? I remember when I was in 12th grade that our English teacher encouraged us to write for 15 minutes without stopping. The purpose was to get into a flow of unusual creativity. There are many mystical ways that people usually do this ranging from channeling, connecting with spirit guides, and receiving messages of guidance and wisdom. 





When I did this back in 1997, I wrote: “I met the boy sitting under a lemon tree.” I had no idea what that meant. And within about a month I saw a guy sitting under a lemon tree on my way home from school and he was gorgeous. We briefly dated, but that’s a story for another day. My Dad said he looked like a vampire because he didn’t walk…he glided. I was going through a goth phase. 









DAY 5: 



What are you grateful for? 





Sometimes the simplest questions are the most powerful. In today’s exercise write down things you are grateful for in the following fill in the blank sentences. 





I am grateful for when ___________________ was kind to me because…I am grateful that I had ___________________ when I really needed it because….I am grateful for __________________ because brought me much happiness. 







DAY 6: 



Write your own personal affirmation. 





Affirmations have the power to change your life in miraculous ways. Anything that begins with I AM and ends with a powerful phrase is transformative. Today, write your own affirmation and say it aloud throughout the week. If you’re not sure where to start then check out the Dear Universe official account over on Instagram from daily doses of affirmation inspiration. Learning how to use affirmations is a great way to ask the Universe for what you want. 









DAY 7: 



Write with your opposite hand. 





WTF?! Yup. Write a sentence or two, or maybe just your name with your opposite hand. For those of you still confused. I write with my LEFT hand usually, so I will try this with my RIGHT. The reason to try this is to get the other half of your brain working in a new way. This activates new and interesting energy and speaks to the Universe on a whole new level.

7 Affirmations To Be More Present

Have you ever done something just to “kill the time”? Or have you ever wished time away, or wished that the time would pass quickly? 





With each minute that ticks by, there are 105 humans that take their last breath. Many of them would have loved more time to do the things they loved to do.  As dismal as it may sound, it’s a powerful reminder that time isn’t intended for you to check out and not make the most of each and every moment. 





There is power in the present. It’s a portal to connection, to creativity and to infinite love.  However, society (and technology) has placed several hurdles in our direct line of sight and attention that makes it more difficult to capture the magic of NOW. Social media, TikTok, Facetiming, texting, Netflix and some less than desirable and addictive corners of the internet have many of us gravitating towards the screen light like a moth to a lamp. Technology steals our attention spans and dulls our awareness to the point where we must be slapped back to a reality where we remember that we are more than just lemmings lining up to jump off a cliff.

To remember who you are and why you’re here is imperative. To do this you need spiritual tools such as meditations, visualizations, rituals, and spiritual practices that re-train your soul to see the big picture and to merge back into your true essence. Affirmations are also a very effective way to make sure that you are more engaged in your everyday life experience so that…





When your kid asks you to play, you play. When your cat wants a belly scratch, you scratch. When the sunshine is out, you absorb it into your skin. When your beloved wants your full attention, you listen. When you take your next breath, you feel grateful. 







Here are 7 Affirmations To Be More Present: 



Say these gems to manifest presence when you feel your mind wandering into the habituated space of selective hearing, mindless scrolling or unconscious habits. Write them on sticky notes if you have to and place them around your house. 









1: I am here right now. All that exists is now. 





All that exists is right now. The past has already happened and the future is yet to unfold. Imagine that your body is a map at your local mall. Visualize that you can see your heart on the map and it has a little sticker on it that reads: “YOU ARE HERE”. Why? Because you are. 









2: I am in the perfect place at the perfect time. 





The Universe, God, Divine Mother (whatever name you wish) all have a plan for you. You are currently playing out sacred contracts that you agreed to with your higher self. You’re currently living an echo of what has already manifested in the non-physical realm first. 









3. My point of power is in the present moment. 





Each and every moment presents you with a point of choice. You can choose love or you can choose fear. I was explaining this to my 5-year old daughter Lulu when she was fighting with her little sister, Ava. I told her: “You can choose to be kind, or you can choose to be mean. Which one do you want to be?” When you remember that you have power in the present moment then you make better choices to guide your experience. 









4: I allow myself to feel my feelings no matter what they are. 





Many of us tend to not want to sit in the messiness of the present moment if it doesn’t feel good. The best thing to do is to get curious about what your feelings are trying to tell you and how they are trying to help you to grow as a person. Take ownership of your emotions and watch your life radically change. 









5: The Universe speaks to me in the present moment. 





Your intuitive faculties are strengthened in direct relation to your ability to show up to each moment with compassion, curiosity, and stillness. 









6: I do the best I can, with the resources that I have, I am grateful. 





The best way to get anchored into the present moment is to take a breath and choose at least 3 things to be grateful for. When you take a moment to appreciate what you have in the present moment, then you activate the magic of the present moment. 









7: I am a resilient soul. 





Show up and be of service as much as you can because The Universe is calling you to step forward and to be the best version of yourself. You have infinite strength and wisdom when you remember to be present.

Two Simple Secrets That Took Me From Welfare To A Million Dollars

Early 2010 was a tough time for me. I was a single mother and I was really struggling. ⁣







My mother (in red) helped as much as she could but I had to establish my own life while living on welfare. This meant buying a really crappy old car, finding a cheap apartment, and trying to figure out how to make ends meet. The future was uncertain and my anxiety levels were through the roof. ⁣

Thomas and Olivia (my kids) were incredibly strong during the transition. I didn’t have a fridge, washing machine or even a lot of furniture. We had no idea that in just 6 years from this photo being taken that I would be running a successful million dollar business. ⁣

We had no idea that I would marry my soulmate and have more kids. We had no idea that we would move to America one day from Australia.

My point is that you can’t look at your life right now and believe that it’s never going to change, because it will. Hard work, determination, vision and NEVER GIVING UP is the only way to get you to the next chapter of your life.





So here are the two secrets that I used to get through that time. Keep in mind that everyone has a different journey ahead of them and behind them. However, these two secrets can be applied by anyone no matter where you are, who you are, what you have been through, or even what you are currently experiencing. Here goes:





1: Gratitude



This might seem obvious, but I was grateful for even the smallest of things that would manifest for me. I was grateful to have a roof over my head. I was grateful to have food for the day. I was grateful that I discovered how to bunch up nearly used bars of soap that I would “borrow” from public restrooms into a bigger bar of soap so I could wash my laundry in the bathtub. You get the picture. When I got really good at manifesting I started to feel grateful when I was having “negative feelings” or experiences. It meant that I could feel grateful for the blessings in the lessons. This is where you can become a really powerful manifestor.





2: Connection with a Higher Power



Whatever name you choose for your higher power is the way to go. I call this power “The Universe” and sometimes “God” or “The Divine” mostly it's just a thank you feeling. I would connect with The Universe and hand my troubles over. This is where the idea for my book Dear Universe originated, where I was at rock bottom and reached out for help and guidance from the cosmos. Whether it's through prayer, dance, ritual, meditation, laughter, jounaling, joy and all of the numerous ways you can connect with this frequency – you should always remember that this power is there for you to turn to throughout life. It's the magical booster juice for your manifestations.









When I used these two steps in conjunction with one another, over and over again, my life because to change. Was it easy? Hell no! But was it worth it? Youbetcha.

How to Activate The Magic of Your Intentions

Do you get super excited by a brand-spankin' new journal? Do you love the beautiful anticipation of whitespace on a blank piece of paper? Do you enjoy taking the time to map out your future and set powerful intentions?


If you do, then I'm guessing that you don't wait until New Year to bust out the resolutions because you know that it runs MUCH deeper than that. You know and trust that manifesting takes careful planning, lashings of inspiration, motivation and a huge scooping of heartfelt bravery.


Setting intentions is your own beautiful and intimate ritual – it's the conversation that you're initiating with the Universe that says:


‘Listen up Cosmic Entities: I AM READY TO STEP INTO ACTION!'.


Intention setting is the first step in the manifesting process.


It is the kick-starting spark and creative power that pushes our desires to be heard by the Universe so the Law of Attraction can work her magic.



Every year on New Year’s Eve (and sometimes before) I write out a list of the things (goals, dreams, wishes and desires) that I want to manifest. I set the intentions for things that I want to manifest and then the way I want to feel in the process of creating it.  It's my own personal little ritual. This year though, I found that so many things on my “wishlist” were manifesting that I needed to upgrade it and dream even bigger dreams for myself.


However, there are 3 very important elements that must be considered when you're about to embark on the delicious journey inward to set intentions from your heart.


And they are…


1. CLARITY

In order to gain clarity about what you really want to manifest in your life, you'll need to dive in deep and ask yourself some powerful questions. Getting clear about the WHY you want things is crucial.


For instance… if you intend to manifest a Porsche so that you can drive to your ex's house and show him how hot and rich you are, then you're not dreaming up a better life for yourself from a place of balance. Obviously it's coming from a place of spite and shallowness – which is a call from your soul to heal that shit. 


Just remember, if you can't wish the same thing for someone else, then you won't be able to manifest it for yourself. Meditate on that one for a moment.


Clarity is all about zoning in on the areas of your life that need more ILLUMINATION. Get clear about how you want to feel more than the “stuff”. This means that when material things make your intention setting list you can FEEL good about it without just focussing on the material side of things.


Power Question: How will {insert desired intention here} make you feel?


2. SPECIFICITY

When setting your intentions you must remember that the Universe LOVES, adores, and thrives on specificity. When you're not clear and concise about the specific details of what you wish to manifest then you leave yourself open to manifesting by default. Believe it or not, but most people do it this way!


Just remember that if you set the intention to just ‘lose weight' you could be asking for a tummy bug that would make you sick enough to lose weight fast (which you'd probably gain back quickly) or worse yet, you could lose an arm or a leg! Now I know this sounds morbid, but rotten things can happen to people that don't dive into the beautiful details and design their life the way they really want to.


I once set the intention to receive a gift from the Universe within 24 hours. I didn't say what I would like or enjoy, I just stated ‘GIFT' without specific details. Within about 18 hours a random dude on Facebook messaged me an up-close and personal photo of HIS JUNK!!! What was really funny is the fact he told me it was a ‘gift' from him to me. Y-U-C-K-Y.  No thanks Buddy.


See? Be specific.


Power Question: How can I describe with the tiniest detail the way {insert desired intention here} would look, feel, and perhaps arrive into my current reality?


3. ENERGETIC ACTION

I have thousands of manifesting students all around the world and the one thing that always makes me laugh is how people don't anticipate that there is really exciting work to conduct when you ‘wake up' and consciously start creating the life of your dreams. Your role is to remove any energetic blocks that are getting in your way. This could be in the form of removing toxic relationships from your life, you could examine your language patterns, you could start to look after your body in a whole new way…


The idea is that you are changing your vibration through being AWARE of how to manage your energy towards your desired outcome. YOU MUST TAKE ENERGETIC ACTION.


+ Make that vision board

+ Surround yourself with people that inspire you

+ Read success stories to spark your levels of inspiration.


Power Question: How can I activate my vibration to attract {insert desired intention here}? What can I remove or add to my life that will close the gap between intention and manifestation?

How To Activate Your Manifesting Superpowers

All of us were born with manifesting superpowers. It doesn’t matter what your background is, what you have experienced throughout life, or even what you believe. The fact is that each and every moment you are alive is a beautiful manifestation.





However, when it comes to intentionally wanting to call something into your reality like a soul mate, a dream home, or a giant pile of cash, it’s important to remember that everything is energy. You must align with your desires emotionally first, so they can become a clear love letter to the Universe and then ultimately materialize.





Remember: Your emotions are creating your reality.



So here’s what to do when you want to truly activate your manifesting superpowers. You can read below or listen to the podcast version too (coming soon):













1: Meditate







The best way to raise your vibration and manifest instant clarity is to meditate. Close your eyes and connect with God/The Universe/Divine Mother (or whatever name you have for SOURCE). It’s your own private conversation of prayer and connection to the essence of your soul. Even if you do this for just 5 minutes per day you will notice a radical difference in what shows up in your reality and how you react to it.

2: Set Powerful Intentions







Getting clear about what you want to create in your life is the key to starting your manifesting path. If you can hold the vision in your mind’s eye through listing out what you want, then The Universe will have a better idea about what to deliver. Imagine you’re in a restaurant and the waiter hands you a menu. Most people in life don’t look at the menu to make their choice, they allow the chef (The Universe) to surprise them. When you are a conscious manifestor then you know what you want, what to order, and how you want to feel.

3: Empower Your Emotions







As stated above it’s your emotions and your feelings that are manifesting your reality. Most people think it’s “thoughts become things” but it’s actually your emotions that are the rocket-fuel for your vibration and your energy. When you remember that life is happening through you and that your emotions are delicious gifts from The Universe then you can open up your portal to infinite possibilities. And yes, even the crappy emotions have the most beautiful Divine gifts to share with you.

4: Cultivate Your Intuition







Just as we were all born with the ability to manifest, you also have this incredible spiritual faculity of insight and intuition. It’s like a muscle, the more you pay attention to build strength in that department, the more it will work for you. Pay attention to your dreams, to signs that appear in your life and how the more you meditate, means that your intuition is amplified.

5: Build Your Spiritual Altar







I wrote about this in Dear Universe, but the idea is that you create your own sacred space in your home for prayer and connection to the Divine. This could be a small table that you keep your crystals on, your oracle cards or your essential oils. It’s so important to keep the Divine reminders of your infinite nature in a special place.

How To Steady Your Emotions When You’re Stuck Indoors

Right now as I’m writing this article, there is a guy on my street pacing up and down on a phone-call and being really loud. He sounds agitated about the state of the stock market and the fact he was unable to buy bottled water at the supermarket due to the shelves being empty.


The world appears to be in panic mode. 

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) is a reality sweeping through our lives and changing how we do things and what we’re focusing on.


There are discrepancies in the numbers related to the illness, hidden media agendas, probably a whole bunch of politics that we don’t understand, and a mad frenzy of stockpiling “bog roll” (this is Australian for “toilet paper”).


Fear is manifesting because people feel out of control. 

What is it that it takes a pandemic to point out that we're never really in control anyway? 


The uncertainty is scary. I’ve felt it too. One of my core missions with my work is to teach people how to get comfortable with uncertainty. That’s why I decided to write this article – to share some of the key ways we can maintain our sanity in a time where our scarcity mindsets want to run to the nearest supermarket and only think of ourselves.


There are powerful methods you can use that will help to steady your energy during this time – especially when you are unable to leave the house.  These are my top 5.



1. Be Smart With Your Health

Wash your hands for 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer. Use this time to say an affirmation that will connect you to your body and strengthening your immune system. Something like this:



“I am grateful for my strong immune system. I embrace love and rise above fear.”



The reality is that the virus is looking for places to latch onto, which is why it’s so important to be mindful of what you are eating, drinking and TOUCHING. If it will weaken you then don’t consume it. You must build strength during this time – eat your veggies, get good sleep, exercise, drink water, and take your vitamins.


Be the best version of a germaphobe you can be to not only protect your family, but other people that might be vulnerable in your community like my Dad, Tony Prout. He’s 73 and has COPD – a progressive lung disease that will likely take him out of the game if he gets a virus like this. It might not, but it is a risk. My point? Say it don’t spray it and wash your hands diligently. Be mindful, always. 


This is a time to be more mindful about the foods you are putting into your body. Your immune system must be nouished in order to stay strong. 



1.5 Also, be mindful of what you say around your children.

Educate them to be responsible with their hygiene, but don’t motivate them by saying anything scary. The truth is that they should be doing this kind of thing (like washing their hands) anyway. Before bed one night my 5-year-old daughter (Lulu Dawn) said to me: “Do I have the Coronavirus, Mummy?” She sounded scared and we just reinforced that she is safe, healthy and loved. Whatever you do, don't let your fear spill out onto your kids. 



2. Question Everything With An Open Mind

Be objective when you read an article and don’t just believe everything you read. Question the source and the motive. One piece of misinformation could place so many people into a state of fear-based stress. The media is extremely irresponsible at the best and worst of times. If you do share an article make sure that it’s not fear mongering. We need to be responsible with the information that we circulation. Are you sharing hope or are you sharing more fear? 


Also, remember to take breaks from scrolling through the latest updates. 



3. Process Your Emotions As They Come Up

You might feel scared and that’s okay. Bring your attention back to the present moment. Meditate, sit in the sunshine, write, draw, call a friend – do anything that will help to lift your spirits.

4. We Are All In This Together

Remember that we are all in this together and we must remember to be kind and compassionate. Events have been cancelled, borders to countries have been closed, we’re told not to hug or to shake hands. Society is already isolated enough without us all having to stay in our homes. This is where the true magic of the internet can be activated. Join online Facebook groups like Journey to Manifesting, or create your own Whatsapp group to stay connected to people is what will get us through this time. Be The Energy Of What You Desire When You’re Stuck Indoors

Ever wonder what it actually takes in order to manifest your desires? Ever wonder what happens on an energetic level, on the level of vibrational frequency, that allows some people to reach their dreams super fast? Ever wonder why you feel stuck? Or why your dreams feel really, really, really far away from appearing in your reality?

It’s important to BE the energy of what you desire.


UPDATE: This post was written before the global Coronavirus pandemic of 2020, but I added in many important elements that help to support you when you are stuck indoors, in lockdown or in self-quarantine. Here's a podcast episode I recorded on this subject too:



When you're stuck indoors and you feel as if you're trapped in the monotony of daily life then it's imperative that if you can't go outside that you turn INWARD. This isn't time to hang up your fancy manifesting shoes. If anything it's time to start DANCING in them. So here's how to Be The Energy Of What You Desire (When You're Stuck Indoors)…


You must become ONE with the thing, person, place or experience that you intend to manifest. However, this might seem overly simplified but people tend to skip the most important element when it comes with communing with their desires. It’s all about FEELING. Feelings are free and require no adventuring out into the world to experience. 


Remember that this manifesting adventure is not about the destination, it’s about the journey. When we unravel these juicy multi-petaled layers of awareness then we can begin to play and transform as we learn.


The first thing to understand is this…


The Universe cannot tell the difference between what has already manifested on the physical realm as opposed to what has manifested in the ethereal realm first. Everything is created in the non-physical first. Then it's released from the magical holding space. The fastest way to release it is to let go of resistance and raise your vibration.


So the first thing to do is to stop and ask yourself how you want to feel? I can assure you that you can feel the same with a million dollars in your bank account as you do with one dollar. There is no energetic difference. You can feel the same before you move into the dream home or manifest the soulmate.


The important thing to always do is activate JOY and remember you are a resilient soul.

Find things that you love doing so you can get out of your head and into your heart. You also need to activate inspiration. What would this look like to you?


If you want to manifest abundance then FEEL abundant. Visualize in your mind a certain number in your back account or a thriving vegetable garden.


When we use our imaginations to conjure up images and thoughts of what we would love to manifest we need to HOLD THE FEELING. This activates the joy and the inspiration and fuels the vibe-fire to close the gap between intention and manifestation.


And then…


When you picture yourself in your dream home when you picture yourself waking up next to your soul mate when you picture yourself immersed in the beauty of nature you can HOLD THE FEELING.


It’s also tremendously helpful to surround yourself with like-minded people that can support you on your journey and not poo on your parade.

BE the change you wish to manifest in your life

6 Secrets to Manifest Money Fast

Manifesting money is all about the energy that you bring to the experience. 





The more playful and open you can be with the Universe, the more likely it is that your vibration is buzzing at an excellent frequency to welcome in the cash.





However, when you manifest money from a frequency of lack or desperation, it can backfire and block the flow of abundance faster than flushing a brick down the toilet.













But what if you desire to manifest money quickly? 





How do you choose to feel inspired over feeling fearful? 





How do you rise above desperation when you're running out of moolah?





The energy we bring to money can be a sore spot for many people, which is why it's so important to be PLAYFUL with the process.





I’ve Been There Before.



Yes, I’ve been broke before. And I’m not talking about the “can’t afford to buy a movie ticket” or “buy a Christmas present” kind of broke.. 





I’m talking about having only 70 cents (yes, cents) in my purse to feed my children for a couple of days. I spoke about this in my Goalcast video that has now been viewed by mover 56 MILLION people.





It was my lowest point. I remember walking around the supermarket wondering how the hell I would make it to the next welfare payday. I purchased a no-name bag of plain pasta and the kids could eat it for dinner and lunch with some leftover tomato sauce I had in the cupboard. 





The pain of being broke was so embarrassing that I struck a deal with the Universe that I would never allow myself to go back there again….





But I did go there again. Several times in fact. 





However, with each time it became less difficult and more manageable because the experience helped me build my strength, my resilience, and my ability to deal with uncertainty. 





I now look back on these times as such a beautiful blessing because I am fully conscious of where I grew from — that place of being desperately broke and afraid of the future — to being financially free and trusting of the process. 





It has helped me to fully appreciate appreciate the abundance — in all forms — that I have created in my own life today.





So with that in mind, I’d love to share my 6 Top Secrets to Manifesting Money…







Secret 1: Set Your Intention







Take time to get really clear on the amount you are requesting for the Universe and also the time it will take for you to receive it. 





The Universe LOVES specificity. If you’re not clear on what you want to attract then you will be manifesting by default and all sorts of nasty surprises can appear when you don’t pay attention to conscious awareness. 





This comes down to the power of intent. When you put your energy behind having a clear vision of what you want in your life, you intentionally create a flow of abundance.









Secret 2: Imprint Your Subconscious Mind + Imprint “the Field” Of Energy







This powerful practice will help get you into the feeling space to welcome in prosperity, surround yourself in the energy of abundance and ultimately — feel worthy of it. 





There are many ways that you can do this. Here are a few suggestions that have personally worked for me: 





Dressing up in your best clothes.Having a daily gratitude practice to be thankful for what you do have right now.Repeating mantras and affirmations that help to rewire your feelings about money. 







Secret 3: Feel As If Your Money Has Already Manifested







You must see yourself as if the abundance has already been manifested. You must give thanks for your prosperity despite the physical reality of what you are being presented with. This is the ultimate key to unlocking your desires from the etheric realm. 





A great way to do this is to practice creative visualization or a manifesting meditation that can help you evoke the feeling of having — not craving — wealth.

Paychecks make you happy, while bills make you put on your cranky pants with annoyance and anxiety. 





You need to rewire this mindset in order to get out of your own way . 





Each time you feel pissed off when a bill gets sent to you then you actively choose to block the flow of abundance and you’re inviting MORE BILLS and more expenses.





Nothing is as expensive as an attitude that blocks the flow of prosperity. Learn to LOVE your money. After all, it's just energy. 









Secret 5: Show Reverence + Respect For The Money You Have Now







Make sure you show your money how much you love it by taking care of it. 





What does your wallet or purse currently look like? Are there receipts stuffed in there? What do you think your purse/wallet says about your abundance mindset?





The best way to show profound gratitude and reverence for the energy of your current abundance is to ensure that it’s sitting all neatly in your purse or wallet. Create a sanctuary for it to feel safe and loved.









Secret 6: Take One Day At A Time







This was the most powerful and loving piece of advice that my mother gave me when I was on the brink of going bankrupt in 2009. 





She told me to just be gentle on myself and take one day at a time. 





This helped tremendously to keep me focused on my power in the present moment and not sabotage my vibration with overwhelm by thinking about the uncertainty of my financial future.
