When Manifestation Isn’t Working
Manifestation is the practice of bringing your desires into reality through positive thinking and visualization. However, sometimes it may feel like manifestation is not working for you. If this is the case, there are several things you can do to get back on track. And of course, in this episode I share many personal examples and stories.
Check your beliefs: One of the most important factors in manifestation is your beliefs. If you don’t truly believe that you can manifest your desires, it will be difficult to make it happen. Take some time to evaluate your beliefs and make sure they align with your goals.Get clear on your desires: Another important step in manifestation is being clear on what you want. Take some time to really think about what it is that you desire, and make sure it is something that you truly want. Write it down and make it as specific as possible.Take action: Manifestation is not just about thinking and visualizing, it’s also about taking action towards your goals. Make a plan and take small steps towards your goals every day.Release resistance: Sometimes we hold onto negative thoughts or emotions that can block manifestation. Try to release any resistance or negative thoughts that may be holding you back.Practice gratitude: Practicing gratitude can help shift your mindset and bring more positive energy into your life. Take time to appreciate the things you have and be thankful for the good things that happen to you.Trust the process: Manifestation is a process and it may not happen overnight. The human body is not just a physical machine, but a vessel for the soul, and it has the innate power to heal itself on all levels – physical, emotional and spiritual. From the perspective of metaphysics, the body is not just a collection of cells and organs, but a reflection of the inner self, your energy, and the connection to Universal consciousness.
The body’s ability to heal itself starts with the connection of the mind, body and soul. When the mind is at peace, the body is able to relax and rejuvenate. The power of positive thoughts and emotions has been widely studied, and it’s been shown that they can have a significant impact on physical health and healing.
This energy flows through every living being, and it is believed that when the body is in a state of balance and harmony, this energy can flow freely, promoting healing and wellbeing. Certain practices like meditation, yoga, and energy healing modalities such as Reiki, can help to align the body with this universal energy, allowing for self-healing to take place.

Smudging and Burning Sage To Clear Negative Energy
Have you heard of the term “Smudging”? It’s where people burn sage, plant-based resins, incense or herbs to help to clear their energy field, auras and sacred environment.
For instance, the day that I brought Ava Moon (nearly 6 years ago) home from the hospital, my incredibly thoughtful husband told me that he had ‘saged the room’ to ensure that any negativity or heavy thought forms would be cleared for her arrival into our beautiful home.

Now before you think it’s a little too ‘witchy’ or ‘woo-woo’ this magical process has actually been backed by science to suggest that there are amazing health benefits too to clearing your space with smoke.
According to this article; it can help to purify the air within a 24-hour period. It also helps to ground the vibration and generate negative ions which help to reduce stress, tension, and animosity that could have built up in your energetic environment.
The science stuff is awesome, but I much prefer to focus on the energy management side of things to keeping your environment at a high vibrational frequency.
After all, if your energy is clear you can manifest at a faster rate. Sound like a plan?

The process of smudging dates way back to ancient times. In fact, there are very few religions in the world that don’t incorporate incense or smoke as part of the deep reverence of spiritual service. The Catholic tradition, for example, uses something called a Thurible (picture above).
The Native American people and many other indigenous tribes around the world have used smoke as a way to not only heal others, but the smoke has been used in meaningful rituals that date back to ancient times.
History will always point back to a group of people burning herbs as a way to deal with energy beyond what is visible to the eye.
So how do you burn sage?
You sit in quiet meditation for 5 minutes and ponder your invocation or intention. For example:
Dear Universe,
May I now ask that this home
is cleansed of any heaviness,
dross or negativity and that
the loved ones that reside here are
brought to a state of peace,
of poise and of perfect harmony
in body, in mind and in spirit.
May we be grateful for health,
abundance, love and happiness
as a constant manifestation.
So be it, so it is.
Light the bunch of sage with matches or a lighter and walk slowly around the room and blow the smoke in the corners.
Hint: Make sure you keep a window open so that you don’t set off your smoke alarms! Also keep a ceramic bowl with you to catch the ashes.
How often should you burn sage?
As often as you feel you need to clear your space. For example, if you have a heavy-going conversation with someone or a spirited disagreement, sage is a great way to reset the vibe and mood.
Where do you buy sage?
You can buy it at Wholefoods and also on Amazon: most new age bookstores should have a good supply for sale.
Hint: I would also highly recommend that you burn sage before setting intentions or during rituals for what you would love to manifest. This helps to clear the air (literally) and create the environment of beginning with a clean slate.

Daily Rituals For Success
First up, define success on your own terms. It's different for everyone. What you deem successful might be something very different for someone else.
It's always important to remember that the nature of success is quite illusionary. There is a lot of room for assumptions. So the best practice is to never assume that someone has their life all figured out financially, emotionally, spiritually. It's always best to play in your own lane.
The way I like to see success is being able to check the box when you achieve a big goal.
For me it's the deep gratitude for my best and biggest manifestations – my husband, my children, my books, the community that is drawn to my work.
Success isn't a thing – it's a feeling.

In my 20s when I was in my first marriage my idea of success was to make $100,000 per year. And let's be real – that was a huge, wild and fantastic goal. I never truly thought it was possible – even with my strong beliefs in the power of manifestation.
When I became a single mother living on welfare back in 2009, I would define success by being able to buy the fancy 4 ply toilet paper. I know that sounds simplistic, but not having to worry about the difference between the no-name brand and the fancy brand felt like an impossible goal. Unattainable luxury.
However, the awareness was there to remind me to be grateful for what I did have, because that's where all manifestations grow from.
We go through different seasons of success in our lives to expand our consciousness around abundance.
Now onto the daily rituals for success to maintain awareness of what's possible.
These daily rituals help to make you feel excited about all the good things you are attracting into your life.
1. Start your day with connection to the UniverseSUCCESSFUL PEOPLE CONNECT TO THE UNIVERSE
Meditate, pray, write in your Dear Universe journal, practice gratitude or use affirmations to set the tone for your day. The best days begin with a connection point to the Divine. This raises your vibration and sets you up for success no matter what unfolds throughout your day.
2. Take care of your bodySUCCESSFUL PEOPLE HONOR THIER TEMPLE
This means eating vibrant foods that nourish your temple and give you energy. You also want to move your body. If you're not someone that loves to exercise, then do the best you can with what you have – just start. Go for a walk in nature or spend time in a park. Also make sure you hydrate. Successful people need to have brains that are efficient. Also consider taking vitamins and supplements if you can because most food these days (especially if processed) has a heavy chemical load.

Treat yourself with love, care and respect. This includes the ways you speak to yourself. I talk a lot about the importance of this in my book BE THE LOVE.
3. Get Organized and Plan Your DaySUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE ORGANIZED
One of the biggest assets on the path to success we can focus on is how we use and utilize our time. In the spirit of full transparency this is an area of my life that I still need to master – but I am willing to do so. Getting organized in your day-to-day life makes things so much easier and you end up saving so much time. This results in you having more time to be productive.
This means planning what you will wear tomorrow by putting your clothes out at night. Your brain will thank you. We spend so much time deciding what we're going to wear, what we're going to eat or watch. The average person spends 17 minutes trying to decide what they will watch on Netflix each day. My idea is to create a “watch list” so you can narrow down on your choices.
Organizing your ideas and to-do lists are also a great way to manage your time. I like to use the ACTIONS app by Moleskine. And I also adore my friend Mark Joyner's platform called Simpleology – this is for people that want to learn about the science of productivity. I tend to love old fashioned paper planners too to mark important dates such as birthdays down on a calendar.
And then there's meal planning. I use Instacart and save hundreds of hours going to the supermarket each month. If you need a sign up code you can use this one: SPROUT1DDD5
4. Learn to take inspired actionSUCCESSFUL PEOPLE BELIEVE IN LEAPS OF FAITH
It's so easy to stay in our comfort zones and not venture out into new realms of possibility. Here are a few things I'd like you to consider:
I wouldn't have landed big book deals if I didn't first send a query letter. I wouldn't have made millions of dollars if I didn't sign up for course to learn about digital marketing. I wouldn't have gotten over my intense fear of public speaking if I didn't invest in professional training. I wouldn't have left my first marriage if I didn't pack my bags and make a plan.
You see success is a big picture that is built on taking daily inspired action. The more lines you have in the water, the more fish you will catch.
Day by day you build your habits of awareness to create and construct a life you feel happy about. And it begins now. Success can be a dangerous trap that can keep you separate from the present moment. But if you can learn to activate the magic of the present and trust that all good things are coming to you, then success is something that you'll see as an energy and not a thing.

The Hidden And Healing Secrets Of Your Nightly Dreams
Everyone on the planet needs sleep. The reality is that some of us get and need more sleep than others. During the seven or so hours we have our heads on a pillow, we are often delivered messages from the dream world. There are many aspects to getting a good night's rest that prepares you to have good dreams. In this article I share my top tips and secrets for your evening rituals.
There can be many different types and styles of dreams. Some of them are a hint as to what is manifesting in the future, whereas others are a way for our subconscious minds to sift through the thoughts and (sometimes junk) of our waking lives.
Everybody dreams, but not everybody remembers.
Many different cultures believe that our dream life is more important than our waking life.I'm one of those people that has vivid dreams nearly every single night. My husband often says that my dreams sound like movie scripts because of how highly detailed they are. I've had past life dreams, dreams of my children prior to their birth and warning dreams.

For instance, you can make sure there is no screen time just before you retire for the night. The light from a screen can interfere with your brain's ability to rest and rejuvenate deeply.
Evening Rituals Before SleepLately, my husband and I have been reading my candlelight, and drinking a “Lucid Dreaming Tea” from a company called Anima Mundi. It's not a drug, it's actually natural herbs that help to relax the central nervous system and open your third eye. It's definitely worth a try because of how relaxed it will make feel.
Honor your templeAnother thing you can do is watch what you eat in the evening. A full stomach means sometimes your dreams aren't reachable because you're in “digestion mode” instead of preparing for the sacred space of your inner dream world.
Track the cyclesI have something called an OURA ring that tracks my sleep cycles and lets me know how much deep rest I get every night. Usually when I see that I have had over 2 hours of REM sleep, my dreams are incredibly vivid.
Write it downKeep a dream journal beside your bed so you don't lose your dream narrative as soon as you wake up. I also have something that is getting launched soon that I know you will adore as part of your evening ritual.
Ask the UniverseAlways ask the Universe to send you a dream or a sign. When you connect with the Universe on a nightly basis you spark a powerful conversation with the field of infinite potential.
Use your intuitionBy all means, look up the meaning of your dreams. However, due to the numerous interpretations of dreams please rely on your own intuition to discern what truly feels right for you. Only you know what certain people, totems or signs represent.

The 5 Wellness Benefits Of Drinking Dandelion Root Tea
I just moved into my new place in Windermere, Florida and my kitchen has turned into somewhat of an apothecary. I have two entire cupboards with vitamins, Chinese herbs, tonics, shamanic powders and specialty teas. As a writer, I am always drinking tea. There's one tea in particular I'd like to speak about today because it's helping me more than any other product I've tried to reduce stomach bloating.
And I've tried everything from gut healing elixirs to changing my diet several hundred thousand times. The best bloat-busting thing I've tried so far is dandelion root tea.
The dandelion flower has been celebrated as part of herbal medicine for thousands of years. This doesn't mean you should go and rinse off some dandelions you find in your local neighborhood that are likely to be covered in doggy pee and chemicals.
Start with tea and see how you feel.
Here are the benefits if you're interested in trying it. Please keep in mind I am not a doctor or a medical adviser in any way. I'm just sharing what I've experienced and learned about this plant-based magic in the last few weeks.
1. It boosts your immune systemThere have been several studies that show dandelion tea helps to fight against viral infections.
2. It reduces inflammationWith powerful antioxidant properties, it can reduce swelling and pain in your body. I think this is where I've noticed the biggest difference personally because my pants are a bit looser and the bloating in my belly is radically reduced. Remember that when you eat a whole bunch of processed food, your body reacts with an inflammatory response. This is why it's important to counteract the junk with mindfulness of what you're putting into your body. Your body is your temple.
3. It cuts cravings and regulates blood sugarAlthough there is no caffeine in a cup of dandelion root tea, it can be a fabulous coffee replacement if you're wanting to switch your jitters for crystal clarity.
4. It's good for avoiding migrainesI have been getting migraines for the last two years. Please keep in mind there are many different reasons why people get migraines – whether they are stress related, hormonally triggered or health related. Mine (I believe) are a combination of all three and I started looking into natural replacements for drugs such as sumatriptan that feel toxic to me. Note: no judgement on the topic of meds here, it's just not for me. So I discovered two possible supportive plants. Feverfew tablets and dandelion tea. If pain is caused by inflammation then I want all the natural things that will help reduce the inflammation (good food, quality plant-based supplements). Anyway, the result for me is 20 days migraine free – which is a new personal record.
5. Mental clarityThis is another personal observation that if I drink three cups of dandelion tea I am better able to concentrate. There is a peacefulness that accompanies creating a ceremony of drinking tea with mindfulness.
In conclusion, it's important to remember that everything that we put in our body creates an outcome. My personal opinion is that the more natural you can be with the things you choose to consume, the better you will feel. It will also help to amplify your intuition and support your manifestation faculties and attract vibrant health.
