You Are Enough: It’s Time To Break The Cycle Of Not-Enoughness
Apparently, our beliefs are formed between the ages of zero to seven. My daughter Lulu Dawn, just turned seven. And it's so weird for me to write about experiences I had when I was her age in my latest book called Be The Love because our paths are so radically different.
One day, when she is an adult, she will see that her self-esteem is because I broke a cycle of something I call: NOT ENOUGHNESS.

In fact, I went on a healing journey for all four of my children because I never want them to not feel worthy.
This photo is me at seven years old as a ballerina (pictured above). My mother would walk me to the Melbourne ballet studio in 1987.
In this photo I remember feeling fat because my legs weren't as long as the other girls.I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin.
I would hide food and refuse to eat. Being seven was the earliest memories of my disordered eating.
I didn't feel like I was good enough, thin enough, pretty enough or smart enough.
My mindset was a burden.
It took me decades to finally see a healing path forward for myself.
I've spent my life on the yo-yo emotional roller-coaster of not feeling good enough and it has manifest in many different ways.
From staying in an abusive marriage for a decadeTo being abusiveTo being a workaholicTo orthorexia, anorexia, bulimialots of other self-sabotaging stuffI want you to remember that this IS hope. That healthy self-esteem and loving yourself IS possible.

A few days ago I was in one of my favorite new places (Palm Beach, Florida) and we were finding a restaurant to eat at for dinner. We didn't have reservations and knew there could be a wait time of over an hour or so.

We then decided to walk around the fashion stores and fill out time before the table was ready.

7 Ways To Let Go Of Bad Manifesting Habits
Have you ever questioned if your manifesting habits are actually serving you?
I wouldn't be doing my job as a manifestation teacher if I didn't share the tried and tested ways we tend to get in our own way as human beings. Sometimes the heart-centered modes of mindfulness can prompt a swift decent into self-sabotage if we're not careful.

Before I begin, please note that I am not in any way saying that you need to be “perfect” on your manifestation journey. However, it's helpful to dig a little deeper to know what to let go of in order to serve you on a higher level.
First up. What are bad manifesting habits?
Bad manifesting habits are the actions that you take on your spiritual journey that poop on your parade and slow your progress. And trust me, these habits can be sneaky and we don't even realize until it's too late.
So here it is…
7 Ways To Let Go Of Bad Manifesting Habits1. Pay attention to how you speakThe words you choose to use hold serious power to create your reality. If you're constantly complaining or being negative or gossiping, then your vibration is being held hostage by the things you say. One of the fastest ways you raise your vibration is to be mindful of the things you speak into existence and reinforce into your existence.
2. Declutter your environmentThe way we choose to keep our home environment speaks volumes about what we are in the process of creating space for in our lives. If you are in a constant state of chaos and mess, then guess what signal this is sending to the Universe? “Please Universe, send me more chaos and mess.” The best thing to do is create harmony in your living and work environment so that it creates space for welcoming your desires.
3. Vote with your dollarsOur hard-earned money transmutes into power when we consciously choose where to spend our dollars. What are you supporting? What do you feel passionate about? Supporting local business is always a great place to begin. Also, consider who and what you are supporting. I'm not going to venture into the realm of political discussion here, but HOW and WHERE you spend your money matters.
4. Be mindful of what you eat + drinkYour body is your temple. Everything you consume has a vibration code of possibility. I recently heard the most life-changing quote about food and it was this:
“You either struggle with discipline or you struggle with disease.”
This stopped me in my tracks to remember that our health manifests in accordance to how we fuel our tanks.
5. Meditate and spend time in natureThis one is a game-changer because if you're on a manifesting journey and you don't connect with the source of your manifestations then the Universe won't get the message. Pray, spend time in nature, walk on the beach, hike, look up at the stars, do breath work, say affirmations or mantras. Remember:
Everything is energy and the more we align with the vibration of what we desire, then the easier it will be for our desires to manifest.

6. Stop believing everything you readFind your trusted sources. Stay informed, but remember that there are two sides to every story. The more we get swept into the drama of information we don't know for sure is 100% truth, the more it warps our perception of who we are and what we are capable of achieving. Rise above the narrative and find your own truth. Also, remember you do not have to explain your beliefs or position to ANYONE.
7. Practice gratitude for even the tiniest of thingsGratitude for what you have now is the magic sauce of manifestation. No matter how tiny your expression of appreciation is, just remember that feeling grateful will send a very clear signal to the Universe that you are in the active process of making magic.
Every moment is an opportunity to be grateful.

I Had An Affair
You read that right. And it's not easy to admit.
I had an affair.
Back in 2009 – I did “the one thing” that brought me more shame and self-loathing than practically anything else I could have done…
I slept with a man who was not my husband.

I haven't shared this photo with anyone or explained the timeframe it was taken in. This was the very same week I broke every code within my moral compass.

The sadness in my eyes is very real.
I'd been through a decade long abusive relationship and I was having an affair. My heart was hurting and the shame manifested into many different aspects that would haunt me for years.

How to Use Affirmations to Heal Your Life
We all have emotional wounds or “issues” that need a little more love and attention in order to heal. One of the fastest ways to inject new and miraculous energy into your life is to use the power of affirmations. They truly work wonders and can radically lift you up from having issues with worthiness, fear or limitation to shining your inner light a hell of a lot brighter.
So what are affirmations?Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat over and over again in order to imprint your subconscious mind. They are usually words that trigger an emotional reaction or response within you that brings up the healing that needs to take place. There will almost always be resistance that will appear in order to challenge you. This is a natural and perfectly normal part of the process. Your job is to see beyond the “monkey mind” and keep moving forward regardless.
What affirmations are NOT…Affirmations are not magic beans, band-aid solutions or a clever way to trick the Universe into thinking that you have your shit together, when clearly you don’t (at present). Affirmations will not work unless you are willing to dive into the emotional work that needs to be done and be truly HONEST about where you’re at.
How do they work?How it works is that words that inspire, empower and excite you have the power to override the current programming you have in your mind and help to form new beliefs which in turn will help to shift the landscape of your current reality. You’re essentially raising your vibration and increasing the positive energy of your soul’s frequency.
Affirmations are a method to bring about newfound change in your life through the process of repetition. The idea is that you find an empowering affirmation that you resonate with within your heart and either write it out or place a printed copy somewhere in your constant awareness. It could be on the bathroom mirror, the corner of your computer screen or in a little pocket in your purse. Every time you see the affirmation you, repeat (or imprint) the affirmation over and over again until it sticks to your soul. You also need to feel the feeling the affirmation will give you.
Let’s try a little exercise together…
I want you to use the affirmation: I AM WORTHY.
Say it now, (silently). Say it again.
Notice how you feel and round up the negative feelings or itty bitty feelings of resistances and imagine yourself throwing them out because they no longer serve you. I AM WORTHY.

How to deal with doubtOnce you start to use affirmations, you will notice that the better you get at decluttering the icky feelings as they arise the stronger your resolve will be.
A secret to truly mastering affirmations: The Universe cannot differentiate between what is happening in the physical realm, or what is happening and being imprinted in the spiritual realm. When you use your affirmation as if it has already happened, then you strengthen your manifesting power.

How To Use Mantras In Meditation & Find Your Manifestation Mantra Today
Mantras have been around forever – in fact, for thousands of years. However, most people forget to incorporate them into their daily meditations and manifestation practices.
Using mantras in your meditations will up-level your results.
It's because sound carries a specific frequency that has the power to align you with the Divine. And when you are aligned with the Divine you can manifest more effectively.
So where to begin?
It's important to try on different mantras and find the mantra that you feel the most in alignment with. There are so many to choose from. You could go for a more modern approach and choose an affirmation such as “I AM WORTHY” or you could go old-school and choose a beautiful and ancient Sanskrit mantra.
These mantras must be treated with reverence and respect because they invite the meditator to receive the gift of surrender.
I talk a lot about this notion in this episode of the MANIFEST podcast:
OM or AUMThis sounds is borrowed from Hinduism, the meaning of Om or Aum can mean a myriad of things. It apparently is the frequency of all creation. And when chanted as a mantra will deepen you meditation experience and remind you of the magic and awe of Oneness.
Om Namah ShivayaAnother Hindu mantra that originates from devotion of Lord Shiva. The repetition of this mantra can take you to another realm of consciousness if you try it within your meditation practice.
Ek Onkar (of the Mool Mantra)This one is my favorite as it echoes the roots and origin of my love for meditation.
Ek onkar, satnam, karta purakh, nirbhau,
Nir vair, aakaal murat, ajooni se bhang,
Gur parsaad. Jap.
Ik Onkar, also spelled Ek Onkar (Gurmukhi: ੴ or ਇੱਕ ਓਅੰਕਾਰ; Punjabi pronunciation: [ɪkː oːəŋkaːɾᵊ]); literally, “There is only one God or One creator or one Om-maker”) is a phrase in Sikhism that denotes the one supreme reality. It is a central tenet of Sikh religious philosophy.
Sound bowls: This is a beautiful sound bowl that carries the Crown Chakra frequency.

Keep Seeing 111 or 11:11? It’s A Sign from The Universe!
The 111 or 1111 sequence can be an incredibly meaningful sign of alignment in the process of manifestation. You might also see 222, 333 or perhaps even 555. Whatever the numerical sequence, these ‘Angel’ numbers are such a strong and powerful form of communication to let you know that things are all aligning very nicely.
It’s a beautiful sign of alignment and message to let you in on a little secret: You're in the flow.
You may see the clock at 11:11 or see license plates with a 111 sequence in it. You might be receipt number 111 or have your groceries total $111.00 – whatever it is, just say ‘thank you’ in your heart as you acknowledge the deep connection you have with creating your reality.
But why do I see the number 111 all the time?

This is a question I get asked so much, especially from my manifesting students around the world. For me the number 111 is extremely special. I’ve been seeing this number as a form of guidance for as long as I can remember. My birthday is on the 1st of November (1/11) or (11/1) for my US friends.
I frequently look at the clock at 1:11pm, see license plates with 111, phone numbers, word counts when I’m writing and the list goes on and on.
Remember, there are 24 timezones in the world and so 11:11 on your phone that you screenshot is not a sign that your desires are manifesting. It’s a reminder to stay present with your manifesting. Do you see the difference?
The sign you attach to has the danger to become a band-aid solution where your brain is ultimately setting you up for disappointment when you ask for it and then don’t see it. Alternatively, you start to see it too much because it’s been activated in something called your Reticular Activating System within your brain and therefore it bears no real significance.
The real magic resides in the present moment.
For me, it’s a message from the Universe that everything is in alignment as it is meant to unfold.I’ve heard so many other people see 111 or 1111 (and other repetitive number patterns) that they now carry meaning but are unsure how to read the signs. I’ve also heard various explanations – ranging from it being a sign of alignment to a sacred message from your spirit guides or angels or perhaps even a warning from your higher self to pay attention to the present moment.
The truth is that it could mean absolutely nothing. We could live in this chaotic Universe with random acts that hook themselves into our awareness that mean diddly squat. However, I have experienced way too many signs of alignment to do with the number 111 that it’s a little bit too orchestrated for me to ignore.
For example, the number 111 seems to circle around in my conscious awareness when specific life events are unfolding. When I first met my husband (we met on Twitter and he flew from America for 11 days) we became acutely aware of the importance of 111 as a sign of alignment.
I was on the promo tour for my book (The Power of Influence) and my publishing company (Wiley) offered to pay for our accommodation in the honeymoon suite of The Windsor Hotel in Melbourne. The address? 111 Spring Street Melbourne.
Sean and I were at the conference venue after my speaking gigs and waiting for a taxi (in virtually the middle of nowhere). It was an hour back to the hotel. Sure enough, out of all the taxis in Melbourne number 111 rolls up to the valet area to pick us up. Needless to say we were blown away.
There are, however, a few caveats to how you interact with your connection to signs. For instance, it’s best to stay present with them and don’t read into things too deeply. Also be open to the possibility that coincidence can cleverly hide herself as syncronicity sometimes. The key is to pay attention to how you feel. Make it a fun game with the Universe where you feel fully immersed in gratitude for the gentle reminder that all is well, you are on the right path and it’s time to be present.
This is where the heavy-handed line between superstition and Divine guidance is deeply drawn in the sand.
Superstition is fear-based, whereas synchronicity and signs of alignment are powered by superconsciousness.

7 Ways To Manifest Anything You Want

Watch a TV series, exercise, call a friend and not talk about what you want or what's missing in your life. Make it your mission to trick your mind into focussing on other things.

Imprint Your Subconscious MindYour beliefs are shaping what shows up in your reality – so the more you can infuse your mind palace and decorate it with the things that you want, then the more will manifest into your life. Creative ways to imprint your mind are through using affirmations or trying something like my Ancient Manifesting Ritual that has been tried and tested by thousands of people around the world. Repetition in combination with meditation is the key. It primes your mind to get into a state of peak performance.
6. Trust In Divine TimingThis means that once you have a clear picture of what you want, and you have managed to stop obsessing about that one thing, then you TRUST in the timing of your manifestations. Everything you have been through in your life has prepared your for what's coming. TRUST in the journey always unfolding in perfect Divine timing.
7. Be Open To All PossibilitiesWhen we just fixated on THAT ONE THING then you create resistance. When you open your heart and mind to all possibilities you actually guide the Law Of Attraction in a more potent and intense way to bring you what you want. It takes training and guidance to truly surrender to the process, but when you do and when you are open to all possibilities then you will THRIVE.

Goals And Dreams: Setting Powerful Intentions For The New Year And Beyond
The start of a new year usually prompts people to want to make profound changes in their lives. The typical resolutions revolve around things like weight loss, starting to exercise, quitting something like smoking or sugar, being a better person or saving more money – you know the drill.
We want to change, and there's a certain allure to pressing the reset button.
The truth is that most people shoot themselves in the foot before they even begin, mostly because of the way they phrase their intentions, specifically feel about their intentions and ultimately act on their intentions.

It's allowing yourself to DREAM BIGEach year I spend a few hours using the following a powerful process to map out my goals, dreams, wishes and desires for the coming year. I call it The 7-Step Ultimate Intention Setting Process. You can download the worksheet here for free.
For the last 13 consecutive years I’d say that over 80% of the things on the list have manifested or materialized into my reality.
Sometimes they happen years later so here's a couple of examples of some of the things I wrote down and WHEN they manifested…
2006: “I am grateful to be represented by a top New York literary agent.”At this point in my life I was living in Melbourne, Australia and had never even been to America. I just wrote this down for fun not knowing how that would ever actually manifest. All I knew was that I am a writer to the core of my soul and having an agent could help.
2017: I was signed to one of the best literary agencies in the world for my concept for the Dear Universe book. Within months I landed a book deal for a quarter of a million dollars.
2007: “I am so grateful to speak at an event with Tony Robbins.”This intention terrified me. I was so shy and really had no intention of ever learning how to speak in public. The Universe would really have to transform the fabric of reality for this intention to ever manifest.
2019: I was invited to share the stage with Tony Robbins at the Real Estate Wealth Expo in New Jersey. By this time, my Goalcast video had been seen by over 50 MILLION people and my speaking career was just starting to take off.
The reason I am sharing the timing of these manifestations is to remind you to always TRUST IN DIVINE TIMING.
The secret to the lists I write at the end of each year is to also write down how I want to feel about each item and the experience, buzz or thrill it would give me and the impact it would have on others.So here is the process I use to get into the feeling space with setting intentions no matter what time of year it is…
Step 0: Give yourself some space – approximately 30 minutes or so of uninterrupted time just for you. You’ll need a pen, some paper, a notebook or a worksheet. You might also want a nice glass of wine or a soothing cup of tea.
Step 1: Meditate for 10 minutes to clear your heart/mind. Use this invocation:
“Dear Universe, May I now be given a clear space within my mind/body/spirit to connect with my heart’s truest desires. May I now tune into the greater good for my higher self and allow for my goals, dreams, wishes and desires to flow onto paper.”
Step 2: Itemize the things/experiences you want to create for yourself. Start with 7, or more if you can.
Step 3: Beside each thing or experience write how you would feel when they manifested or you achieved your intention. Would you feel freedom? Would you feel loved? Powerful? Courageous? Sexy? Fierce? Empowered?
Step 4: Action items. Now write one thing you could take action on within the next week that would start the ball rolling in the direction of your goals, dreams, wishes and desires.
Step 5: Trust and surrender. Let it go. Put your list away for a while and hold the essence of the feelings you’re trying to create in your heart as you move forward with the year.
