The Deadly Fae, Sequel to The Dark Fae

I've got the covers for 3 more fae stories! And I'm working on The Deadly Fae now!
I'll be writing about Deveron's sister in one of the stories, but I've started two others also.

In The Deadly Fae, Sessicily is an assassin fae, only no one knows she's actually doing her father's work. He's been dead for four years. The guild master and her loyal servants are the only ones who know the truth. But she's retired. Finished. No more assassin jobs.
Until the guild master sends a man who requires her services. And he doesn't take no for an answer.

And I received a lovely review for Wolf Fever from Joyfully Reviewed:
Wolf Fever by Terry Spear
Werewolf, Book 6

Paranormal, Suspense
ISBN: 978-1402237522

Carol Woods loves her job as a nurse. She always wanted to work at the hospital in Silver Town, Colorado. Her dream came true after she became a member of the wolf pack. Carol was viciously attacked by a red wolf, changing her forever. Carol has since resisted the shift, terrified she won't be able to shift back, but it's getting harder. Carol uses her unique visions to stall the shifts. The visions are telling her that something bad is coming to Silver Town and she may be the only one that can stop it.
Chester Ryan McKinley, a P.I., has been a bit obsessed with the lovely Carol since meeting her months ago during his investigation. He's not so sure he believes in her psychic ability but he knows he needs to see her again. It seems Carol's Alpha is determined to mate her to one of his pack and that just doesn't sit well with Ryan.
Carol is one of few female wolves and every male around would like the chance to mate her. Carol isn't too keen on mating anyone within the pack when the only wolf she can think about is Ryan, the one who doesn't believe in her. Danger lurks close as other wolves decide to take Carol for themselves and a mysterious illness starts attacking the local wolves. Can Carol outwit her abductors and solve this mystery? Who will become her mate; a rogue red or one of the loyal grays?
Wolf Fever is a fiery hot exciting novel! Action abounds from the first page keeping you engrossed. Carol and Ryan's connection is sizzling. These two are electrifying when together. Wolf Fever has it all: a fabulous couple and a thrilling mystery to keep you on your toes. I found the couple lovely and wickedly entertaining. The mystery is enticing, while the action keeps your blood pumping. The secondary characters are amazing and easy to become attached to. I can't wait to read more about the pack from Silver Town. This is my first venture into Terry Spear's werewolf world and boy have I been missing a fabulous series! I can say that it is absolutely okay to begin this series with Wolf Fever but I guarantee it will leave you wanting to run out and purchase the whole series.
Okay, off to get a million things done before work!!! It's TGIF!!!! Are you having fun today?Terry Spear

Review:
Julia Wildthorn is the author of famous werewolf romance books in the U.S. She knows a great deal about the subject due to the fact that she herself is a werewolf. Julia is suffering from a bout of writers block so she decides to go with her best friend to Scotland. Julia's friend, Maria Boquero, is an assistant director for a film company. Julia decides to travel undercover as Maria's assistant. Julia's family came from Scotland and they lived in the castle where the movie crew is going to be filming. Her grandfather wants her to find a box that was hidden in the castle and bring it home without opening it. Julia and Marie rent a cottage near Argent Castle so that they will be close. Before leaving L.A. Maria receives death threats warning her to stop the film crew from using the castle, but she ignores them. After they arrive in Scotland they rent a car to take them to the cottage, but their car is ran off of the road. Ian MacNeill is the Laird of Argent Castle and leader of his pack of werewolves. He is also the oldest of a set of quadruplets. Ian if forced to rent the castle and land to the American film company, due to the packs money manager running off with all the packs money. When Ian and his brother come across Julia and Maria's car on the side of the road they offer their help. Both brothers are surprised to find that the two women are unmated werewolves. The moment that Ian sees Julia he feels an instant attraction to her and his wolf knows she is his mate. Ian has a lot on his plate from dealing with a rival clan trying to take the castle from him to trying to make sure the film crew doesn't see his people change. Plus now he has a mate. This is just a little too much for him. But the more he gets to know Julia the more he wants her.
This is the seventh installment in Ms. Spear's werewolf series and will not disappoint. If you are new to this series you can pick up this book without reading the rest, but the others in this series are worth reading. Ms. Spear gives the werewolf romance a new and different twist. Her stories are wonderful. I tell all my friends about this series and she is an auto buy for me. I have all her books on my keeper shelf. I hope to see stories about all of Ian's brothers and one with Maria. Book eight titled Dreaming of the Wolf will be out in December of 2011.

Julia Wildthorn is sneaking into Argent Castle to steal an ancient relic,but reluctant laird Ian MacNeill may be the key to unlocking the one answer she really wants discovered...
From Terry Spear, modern day werewolves meet the rugged Highlands of Scotland, where instinct meets tradition, and clan loyalties give a whole new meaning to danger...
~~~~~I'm at Castles and Guns today with a free giveaway! :)
And at RomFan Reviews also!
As to receiving though, I was taught to always graciously thank the gift giver, no matter whether I loved the gift or not. Which reminds me of A Christmas Story where the boy received a pink bunny custom for Christmas and had to wear it and show his appreciation.
But it was drummed into me that no matter if we got something we absolutely hated--mine was underwear from a grandmother who NEVER gave us gifts, but my mother figured they were too small for her, so she gave them to my sister and me for Christmas, and they were 10 times too big for us--but hey, I still wrote her a very nice thank you card. :) And we gave the underwear to the women's crisis center.
Have you ever received a gift you hated, but still found it in your heart to thank the giver? Then vowed to get even?
:)
But back to giving--I do love to give, and I do love it when the receiver loves it.
Then I truly do feel it's better to give than receive.
Do you think this nurse looks a little too...happy in an evil sort of way to be giving, rather than receiving? I think her job has some perks. :)
Lady Caroline has one mission in mind, helping her mother maintain their estates after her father's death, while knights posing as the earl's men continue to kill their livestock. But as soon as her mother wishes the earl's intervention, Caroline has a new problem--the earl is intrigued with her and wants her to reside at his castle and serve his mother.
Caroline refuses, but as the raids on her family's lands turn more deadly, Lord John Talbot forces the issue. Caroline continues to attempt to uncover who is behind the raids, and with her unnatural ability to remember details, she intends to see justice done.
The lady may be his undoing, but the earl decides she is the one for him and no other will do, if only he can keep her safe from the danger that follows her every move until he can wed her.
Revising a Book is Like Spring Cleaning!
The good thing with a book is that even if you have to keep cleaning it up, eventually it will be ready to publish and that will be that. With spring cleaning, it seems the junk just continually piles up.
The good thing about revisions is like spring cleaning, it feels great to make the work better. The bad thing is it doesn't add much in the line of word count. Take out a sentence here. Add a sentence here. Take out a sentence there.
*sigh*
But I did make some headway on Heart of the Jaguar even at that. 14,000 words to go. Oh, if I could take off work next week and finish it, that would make my week!
Since I can't, I'm off to write what I can today!!! And make some more headway on spring cleaning!
Have a super day!
Waking up in Someone Else's Bed!
Well, that's what I was thinking of when Susan sent me this link last night. Thanks, Susan! I had a nice chuckle. So...the question is: Have you ever awakened in someone else's bed?
The big guy is an Irish Wolfhound and since I have two of them in Heart of the Highland Wolf, seems appropriate that I add this in here during the blog tour. :)
I hadn't had any guest blogs and giveaways scheduled for this morning, but the new Borders romance buyer, Ellen Clark, asked if I'd like to give an interview for Borders True Romance and of course I was delighted! So be sure and comment. I'll be picking a winner on Sunday morning. :)
Now I'm off to work on the the newsletter!
Have a super Saturday! I'm writing all weekend on jaguar....and maybe a little on fae...
Talking about Shameless Werewolves!!!
I'm trying to post this fast as I can as I've had trouble staying connected this morning! Argh!
Here is Dee's review! Thanks so much Dee at Shameless Reviews! for the lovely review!
Okay, off and running! Work has been so bad that two of our librarians were in tears yesterday. I came in late so missed the trauma, but it was bad enough the first 3 days of work that I was there for the whole day that I don't expect today to be any better. And it's TGIF!
But the good news is that I've kind of broken through some of my writer's block on Heart of the Jaguar, and hope to be able to really write all weekend long on it! :) I was really, really tired after running around in the heat on errands yesterday with my daughter, so I lay down for a few minutes, and the new opening scene came to me. It will change quite a bit, but I'm off and running on it! :)
Have a super fun Friday! I think all I can hope for is the end of the work day!!! :)
Night Owl Romance!
Believe me, I'm not really THIS messy!
But I'm off this morning to try and get some things done with my daughter--she's pulled tons of stuff out of closets and rooms and whatnot, trying to "help" me to unload some stuff. What a mess! Now I just have to figure out what to do with it all! Although I have to admit I've donated some craft stuff to the children's librarian, given away stuff I'll never miss, thrown out lots of stuff I really couldn't even give away! :) Have you ever needed to REALLY clean out stuff and never spared the time?
Doesn't it feel good to unload a bunch of stuff that you never use??? That maybe others can use?
I feel like I'm moving, but if I was moving, at least I'd have it all in boxes packed up and ready to go already!!! :)
Have a super Thursday! Have to work late tonight and then...it's time for TGIF!!!
