New Year's Resolutions
Now that I've sobered up, I think it's time for me to assess the things I'd like to achieve during this glorious New Year.
It's not a lot, only a small list really, but it's all about quality, not quantity… Right?
*
1. Marry Hugh Jackman
You had to know this would be number one on my list.
*
2. Start Smoking Again
I keep saying I am going to do this, but I never quite get around to it.
*
3. Eat More Chocolate Cake
I don't know if this is possible, but I am going to give it my best effort.
*
4. Write More Books
5. Get Up Off My Lazy Ass And WorkOut
I'm not really looking forward to this one, but I need to be camera ready for the RWA 2011 CONFERENCE!

Six Sentence Sunday
Happy New Year Everyone!!
Six Sunday is back and this week I have six sultry sentences for you from my serial, soap opera, paranormal, romance, fantasy, weekly story I do called Moonlight and Merlot. These particular sentences are from an episode a few weeks back. If you are interested, you can read all the episodes from the very beginning right here: MOONLIGHT AND MERLOT
The kiss went on and on and Lela was lost, drifting in the extraordinary sensations. He cupped her breast over her t-shirt and Lela's nipple instantly went hard. She moaned into his mouth, a low, throaty moan of hunger and delight. Her hand moved over him, over his broad chest, down his flat stomach, pausing to linger over the incredible bulge in his jeans.
Nick's body went very still when she touched him and then a deep shudder traveled over him. He tore his lips from hers, sucked in a short, hard breath and then scooped her into his arms, carrying her off to his bedroom.
Be sure to visit the OFFICIAL SITE and check out this week's scintillating excerpts!!

Romancing the New Year Blog Hop
A NEW YEAR'S WISH
by Lisa Fox
*
The ball in Times Square had just dropped and inside the bar there was one, colossal uproar. Champagne toasts and midnight kisses, drunken promises and tears of nostalgia, people laughing and circulating, everyone celebrating the beginning of 2011.
Kelly knocked aside the balloons and reached into the cooler for more champagne. She bent forward, digging deep inside to retrieve the dwindling supply of bottles.
"Stay just like that," Justin, her fellow bartender, and current bane of her existence, called over the music. "And we'll both have a very happy new year."
Kelly just rolled her eyes and ignored him. She was beginning to seriously regret sleeping with him. Sure, he was hot and whatever and he did have a massive cock, but the personality…
Ugh.
She made the mistake of glancing over at him and he gave her those weird sex eyes he'd been flashing her all night.
Completely not in the mood to deal with him, she pulled a bottle out of the cooler and turned around, scanning the bar for any glasses that needed refilling.
Everyone seemed pretty well occupied, the people sitting at the bar had full drinks and the blond yuppie couple was still doing their best to devour one another. She felt a little twinge of envy when she noticed that the dark-haired guy she thought was hot was immersed in conversation with another woman. They looked very cozy indeed and Kelly was certain that he was going to totally score tonight.
In fact, it looked like just about everyone in the bar was going to get laid.
Except for her.
She glanced over at Justin…
…and instantly banished the thought. No, no, no. No matter how lonely she was, she was not going to encourage him.
But she did want someone to kiss.
To hold.
And she thought that if she could have just one wish, just one single New Year's wish, she'd wish for her white knight to come through those doors and sweep her off her feet and worship her like a goddess and be able to maintain an erection for more than three minutes and want to hold her in his arms after hours of exhausting and exhilarating pure, animal fucking and bring her breakfast in bed and love coffee and old movies and most importantly her.
In other words, the impossible dream.
Kelly laughed aloud and shook her head at her own silliness.
She held up the champagne bottle, ready to pour more drinks when an icy chill licked the back of her neck, sending an almost sensuous shiver racing down her spine. On instinct, she glanced toward the doors and the breath caught in her throat
when he walked into the bar.

Moonlight and Merlot
The continuing saga of the lives, loves and heartbreaks of the residents of Dion Valley, CA.
As with all the best things in life, this is for adults only.
*****
Zach's roadster zoomed down the long and twisting valley road, leaving enormous dust plumes in its wake. Phoebe loved it when Zach let the expensive, little European machine really show its stuff and she giggled happily as the wind whipped though the car.
"Yes, baby," she said, sliding closer to him. She put her hand on his thigh and squeezed. "That's it." He got hard almost instantly and Phoebe couldn't help but smile. Her hand moved a little higher and she stroked him through his jeans. Zach had a beautiful cock that he totally knew how to use and she wanted some of it. Right now. "Faster," she breathed into his ear as she caressed and cajoled him. "Faster!"
But instead of really letting the roadster fly, he sighed heavily and moved her hand off his lap. "Come on, Phoebe," he said, glancing over at her and then back at the road. "We need to talk first."
Phoebe groaned and flopped back into the passenger seat. Talking. Always talking! Why couldn't Zach be like every other red-blooded male on the planet and want to fuck?
"I don't know what kind of craziness you've got going on with Nick Castle, but I don't like it," Zach began, and Phoebe knew from the tone in his voice that he was about to embark on one of his longwinded rationalizations/sermons about life and love and good and evil and all that other stupid bullshit.
She rested her head against the passenger window and stared up at the clear blue sky. Zach droned on in the background, a deep, lilting wave of sound with no coherence, no meaning. Phoebe's mind drifted, floating, random thoughts and feelings filtering though her consciousness before flittering away only to be replaced by another tangent. She thought about how much she liked the way Zach went down on her, how good his mouth and tongue and fingers made her feel and her body heated slightly before that lovely thought was replaced by the image of Nick, the shock on his face when she confronted him at his apartment. The sight of Lela standing in the doorway, liked she lived there or something. The anger. The frustration. The goddamn nerve of that bitch taking what she knew Phoebe had wanted for so very long…
Revenge…
Phoebe jolted in her seat, startled out her thoughts by the word that seemed to come from nowhere, everywhere, inside her, outside her, it spring from the very air itself and from the deepest recesses of her soul.
Revenge…
Yes. Yes, revenge was good. Fun. Good fun. And the voice – which maybe wasn't really a voice at all – that spoke the word, the thought the feeling, made it sound oh so very appealing. She could totally get into some revenge.
Phoebe…
She glanced over at Zach, but he seemed completely absorbed in whatever it was he was saying and if the look on his face was any indication, he was thoroughly enjoying this particular monologue. No, Zach was not the source of that voice. Nor did it appear that he could hear it. Which seemed right. That voice was like cold steel wrapped in velvet, like an icy midnight caress and listening to it was like lying naked, wrapped in the fur of a dangerous beast. It was not something Zach could understand or appreciate.
But Phoebe could.
"Tell me," she said in her head, reaching out to whatever it was with all her mental energy.
Something stirred in the air around her, within her, and Phoebe was certain whatever it was that was communicating with her smiled.
"Listen," it said.
[Until next Tuesday…]

Hot Men Winter Wonderland Edition
It is December and winter and the holiday season and that means snow. Lots and lots of snow. I personally hate snow, but maybe I would like it more if I were frolicking with these guys.
Probably not though.

Happy Boxing Day!
Happy Boxing Day!
We don't really celebrate Boxing Day here in the States, but I understand that it is quite a shopping holiday. I love shopping and I love holidays so it sounds pretty excellent to me.
Coincidentally, I am most probably shopping right now, picking up gifts and things to bring back to my coworkers and friends when I return home. Either that or having brunch.
But pictures of shopping and brunch are boring.
So here are some boxers.
Not that they have anything to do with Boxing Day, just because they are awesome to look at.
Happy Holidays Everyone!!
