Six Sentence Sunday
Today I am packing and doing laundry and just generally get all ready to go to the 2011 RWA Conference. I am SUPER excited and I hope I get the chance to meet some of you in fabulous New York City!
Anyway, as I have been wrapped up in the preparations for my impending trip, I still haven't worked on anything new. So, once again this week, I have a bit of something old.
These delectable opening sentences were taken from THE NAUGHTY DICE GAME a short story that ultimately won me some pretty righteous vibrating panties.
The colorful plastic dice bounced twice and then came to stop. Garrett, Ryan, Deb and Sara simultaneously leaned over the coffee table to read the outcome in the flickering candlelight. The purple die showed the word, "Closet." The blue one had, "Toes." The pink one said, "Hump."
"Fuck that," Sara said, crossing her arms under her breasts. "I am not humping anyone's toes."
If you'd like, you can read the entire story right here: THE NAUGHTY DICE GAME
It is also the first story in the Ravenous Romance SEXY TOY STORIES anthology
Don't forget to stop by the OFFICIAL SITE and check out all of this week's exciting excerpts!

Special Guest Lila Munro & GIVEAWAY!!
I am so excited to have HOT erotic romance author LILA MUNRO here with me today!
LisaFox: So, tell us about you. Who is Lila Munro?
LilaMunro: I'm a military wife living on the coast of North Carolina and I am surrounded by hot inspiration in the marines I've lived around for the past fourteen years. My genre of choice is contemporary romance that spans everything from the sensual to BDSM and ménage. I love to read everything I can get my hands on, trips to the museum and aquarium, taking field research trips, and soaking up the sun on the nearby beaches. Aside from my own writing I'm the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Rebel Ink Press.
LF: You are a romance author, but do you consider yourself a romantic?
LM: Absolutely. When you have a husband that's away more than he's home you have to keep things interesting. While he's gone there's sexy goody boxes, love letters, and, ahem, stuff. When he's home we make the most of our time with romantic dinners, a glass of wine at sunset, evenings on the beach, and, ahem…stuff.
LF: Stephan, your hero in TRUE IDENTITY, sounds like my kind of man. A Marine Corps officer, a total Dom…yummy. Tell us more about him.
LM: Steph is every submissive's dream, but that's not to say he's not got issues of his own. You see he's an interrogator in the Corps and that makes for some very conflicting emotions when it comes to playing for him. Of course, it also makes him an excellent reader of people.
LF: Who do you see playing him in the movie?
LM: Okay, this might seem corny because he's been in so many Disney movies, but does Dwayne Johnson do it for anyone else? I mean he's big, dark, and he's got those eyes.
LF: What are you doing when you are not writing?
LM: Well, there's not a lot of that time…I have about a million irons in the fire at any given time, however, all work and no play makes a dull Lila. I have a few other wives I hang with regularly, we love to shop and eat and talk about, ahem… J Hey, when there's a short supply you might as well talk. Right? I love the beach, I have a few pets to cater to every day, and I have a few used book store haunts I frequent.
LF: You get one wish – just one – what is it?
LM: You know this might sound contrite, but I have so much and am so blessed I can't think of one thing interesting enough, so what I would do is give my wish to someone less fortunate than me.
LF: Any new projects in the works?
LM: Plenty. I've got a third book in the Identity series, Assume Identity, coming this fall. I'm working on the sequels to the Force Recon series with some other fantastic writers, there's a third in the Slower Lower series coming out soon, and my idea pad is overflowing.
LF: How can people find you online?
LM: I can be contacted via my website http://lilamunro.weebly.com , my joint effort website http://www.wickedmuses.blogspot.com or through Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/Lila_Munro You can also contact me via email at lilasromance@gmail.com For more information about Rebel Ink Press please visit their website at www.rebelinkpress.com

You have to leave the city of your comfort…
Jillian Stewart was as straight laced as they came. Or was she? After one man tearing her down to her very foundation, she's set out on a path of self-discovery. Pursuing a Master's degree in sociology, Jill's determined to wrap her mind around the complexities of the BDSM world. Getting into a good doctorate program won't be easy so she's pulling out all the stops. After disregarding her professor's warning against subjecting herself to the lifestyle, Jill finds she's drawn to her tutor. But this isn't her world. Is it?
and go into the wilderness of your intuition…
A career Marine Corps officer, Stephan Sachelles has always chosen to keep his lifestyle choices to himself. He avoids the underground house parties on the base to frequent a club miles from home in an effort to protect his privacy. Steph's been a Master at Steele Image for years and he's enjoyed the company of many of the subs there with no intention of ever settling on just one. How would he make that work…it wasn't like he could convert his base house into the dungeon of his dreams. Then Jill walks through the door. Steph's intuition tells him there's wild abandon inside her fighting for a chance at life. In the depths of her eyes, far behind the over analysis of everything she encounters, Steph sees the heart of a true submissive. But the resistance Jill puts up is driving Steph crazy. While she's a good student, she just won't let go. Fighting his own internal battle, Steph finds he wants nothing more than to be the only Master to help her find her true identity.

Moonlight and Merlot
The continuing saga of the lives, loves and heartbreaks of the residents of Dion Valley, CA.
As with all the best things in life, this is for adults only.
*****
Zack's father could have told all about the ritual in the woods if Zack had ever thought to ask. Blake could have filled his son in on what happened the last time the summoning of the God of Grapes was attempted in Dion Valley. Things that certainly never made it into the Dion Herald.
Blake, and by extension Zack, belonged to one of the founding families of Dion Valley and had owned and operated a successful vineyard since the very dawn of the settlement. Their ancestors were the ones who first invoked the god and had maintained the annual ritual for generations upon generations, until the modern world finally seeped into the consciousness of the founders' progeny, robbing them of their belief, their faith, their magic. Reality replaced ritual, Excel charts and market trends and free shipping for wine club members replaced devotion to an invisible and increasingly improbable entity.
Only once in modern memory had the old ritual been preformed and it had not been with pure hearts and glad souls or any of that other pagan, white-witch foolish nonsense. It had been for the sake of profit. Pure profit. Because really, in these modern and rational times, what better, more powerful god was there than the almighty dollar?
They learned the answer to that question one dark night twenty-five years ago.
But Zack never thought to ask. Why would he? His father was a businessman who drank too much scotch, cheated on his wife and wanted to dictate every aspect of Zach's life. His current ambition in life was to crush Phoebe's father and take over his vineyards. The thought of Blake standing in the middle of the woods in his custom-tailored suit, chanting archaic gibberish was beyond ridiculous.
Ridiculous though it may be, it did indeed happen. And when the spirit was released from the circle, freed to wreak havoc on Dion Valley, Blake felt a brief stab of disquiet that he could not quite put a name to. It was all at once familiar and foreign and altogether unsettling. But the moment passed quickly and his mind was able to easily rationalize it away as some bad foie gras. His heart however, knew differently.
[Until next Tuesday…]

Six Sentence Sunday
With the RWA conference coming up and a bunch of crazy things going on, I haven't had a chance to work on anything new recently. So this week's six are from something old.
Here are my six enticing sentences from Spring Fest, a free read I did a while ago.
Maybe Derek will be there, she thought and a little shiver of anticipation raced down her spine. Derek Cafferty was the lawyer's only son and from all that she had heard, he was set to take his father's place when the elder Cafferty retired. Tall and charming and devastatingly handsome, Derek was the one thing that made the town even somewhat tolerable. And he was 100% of the reason why she was going to the Fest at all. Julia knew she probably didn't stand a chance with him, he was waaaay out of her league, but just looking at him was such a treat, so incredibly pleasurable, she couldn't pass up the opportunity.
If you'd like to read the entire thing, you can do so right here: SPRING FEST
